Chapter 6

A Mace-wielding maniac, A Stereotypical hippie, A Gentleman with fiery fists, and A Vampire with daddy issues walk into a bar

Sorry for the long disappearance, my little minions so here is the next chapter to enjoy. Honestly I'm on a writers block all these months. so after this chapter it's full steam ahead to actually edit everything and post chapters. Like I said in my A/N it's hard for me to put the OC's in because adding more dialog and shit is hard as fuck. I'm not dead...yet.

Thunder sounded as lighting lit up the mansion. Inside this mansion were the two feuding brothers that looked at each other in the dim lighting caused by a candle.

Jojo, still with the match in his hands burning slowly and diming out, said to the shocked blond teen,"Your a poisoner Dio Brando, we both have all the proof we require and then some,"

Dio made a quite shocked gasp with the widening of his eyes as he looked at the two imposing obstacles, he then growled under his breath just then a symbolic sound of thunder and lightning brighting of the entrance hall cased shadows on their faces. "They have found their proof, so be it, this moment has been a long time coming, Jojo and Veronica, now I finish WHAT I STARTED!"

(Insert Jojo Op 1)

The rain was coming down hard on the mansion leaving an eerie echo in the house.

Jojo as he talked put down the candelabra,"We tracked down the antidote father took it moments ago, Dio, this pains us greatly for years you were my brother-"

Veronica finally opened her mouth interrupting Jojo,"for months you became a dear friend to Mika." Both Jojo and Veronica said in unison, "Now we have no recourse but to turn you in I'm sorry/I'm not sorry you fool, I'm sure you don't believe a word of it but I'm telling you the truth ." you don't have to guess who said what at that last part.

As Jojo was saying the last bit of his "I'm really disappointed in you speech" Dio scoffed and turned his head sitting in a coincidentally there fancy chair. Dio looked at Jojo," That compassion is very much like you," He turns his head and stares at the ground,"Jojo, this is selfish, but I have a favor to ask." Jojo grunts in slight shock. Dio turns to him with a pleading expression on his face as he puts his hand above his heart," Please, give me time. Time to turn myself in!" Jojo and Veronica both look at each other in shock at Dio's words. Dio then moves his hand to his "broken" arm. Jojo and Veronica have the same thoughts in their heads as their eye's glaze over in thought, "I expected him to fight like a cornered animal!" Meanwhile Dio sees to trick them with his acting skills,"Jojo and Veronica, how did you make it out of the slum alive. I'll have to distract both of them then with one quick stab…"

Dio moves until his body is in the direction of the two still with his pleading face on, "I regret my life until now! Being poor when I was a child has made me greedy! What I did was wrong! I tried to poison and rob the man who raised me!" Dio forces tears in his eyes," I came back to turn myself in. If I wanted to run, I could have gone anywhere! With Dio crying Jojo pauses in hesitation,"That's true." Veronica having seen through Dios pathetic act furrows her brow,"How do we know what your saying is true Dio! We could have died in the slum and with 's death you could have been the one to inherit everything! You just wanted to revel in your crime, murderer!"

Dio clenches his teeth and goes for the knife hidden in his sling,"I want to make amends! Why can't you believe me!" Jojo puts a hand on Veronicas arm to stop her from assaulting Dio,"Dio -" Then a voice calls out,"Careful, Jonathan. Don't trust a word that snake says." In the middle of the voice sentence the sound of a match getting lit echoes for a moment before a tiny fire reveals that the voice is the man from the Slum.

Dio freezes knowing he is caught, the man carries on with what he is saying as Dio stares at the man with hatred,"Who am I, you ask? Allow me to introduce myself." With the swipe of his hand the match goes out as he walks toward the trio.

"I'm Robert E.O. Speedwagon, the meddler." (Series ends, best Waifu appeared XD) "I was worried about the two of them, so I came back with them. Since I like you both, let me tell you something. I was raised in squalor, and I have seen a lot of lowlifes." Speedwagon walks to the right side of Jonathan and stares at Dio with a calculating gaze,"My nose knows the difference between good and bad." Dio shakes in rage at this random man's accusations, but the so-called Speedwagon wasn't done,"And this guy stinks worse than a pile of puke!" Speedwagon knocks the candelabra off the table,"I've never met a man as wicked as him! Wicked because of circumstance? NO! This man was born bad!" The trio stares at Dio as he stops his tears and looks at them coldly. Lightning lights up the room emphasizing that Dio is sitting much like the villain he is.

Speedwagon goes by a cloth and puts his hand behind it,"This face is familiar to you, isn't it?" Speedwagon yanks his arm and halls out an pale asian man with his hair spiked up like Vegeta's and a mustache that rivals Master Shifu's also I'd like to add he is ugly as fuck. Dio looks at the poison maker in shock not believing his eyes. Speedwagon holds him as he goes back to Jonathan's side

Jonathan then explains why the guy is there,"This man has testified that he sold you the poison." What Jonathan doesn't tell him is that Veronica threatened to "unman" him if he didn't testify. That's the only reason he agreed, never upset an angry women with mace. Just saying.

Dio clicks his tongue between his clenched teeth then again freezes in shock for a voice interrupts them,"I've heard enough." Dio turns his head and a curtain is pulled back as it shows the elder Joestar, Mika, the doctor, and policemen. George has his head down and breathes shallowly. Mika looks about ready to cry for the seventh time. Gorge then utters what he has to say,"This is truly a shame." He looks up and stares at Dio with disappointment and betrayal in his eyes,"I put the same love and hop into you as I did my own son. And Mika gave her trust and friendship to you." Dio bares his teeth as he stares at Mika and the disappointed Joestar, the feeling of self hatred and rage increases.

Jojo seeing that his father is up and not in bed says with concern,"Dad, you need to rest." Veronica continues to stare at Dio as she moves to comfort her life-long friend. George sighs in defeat as Jonathan and Mika hold his arms gently,"Right, I'll go to bed now. I don't want to see my son get arrested. Jojo do what you must." They turn around to go up the stairs,"Yes, Dad."

Dio, finally gets up from his chair and he says softly,"So this is the end?" (Not by a damn long shot you bloodsucking gay bodysnatcher) The poison maker says,"They won't catch him. That face and three moles by his ear. He was born with the devil's own luck." George turns his head to look at Dio, while Jonathan walks up to Dio with a stony expression. Dio puts his hands up,"Jojo, I want you to be the one to handcuff me. For our years together." Jonathan tries to read Dios face, but fails,"All right." Jojo turns around to grab the handcuffs from the doctor. Speedwagon says,''Be careful, Jonathan!" Jonathan nods at the scarred man then turns again to face Dio.

Dio, with an apologetic look, smiles sadly at Mika while she refuses to meet his eyes then glances at Jonathan," Jojo, being human means having limits. I've learned something. The more carefully you scheme, the more unexpected events come along." With a note of finality Dio utters the last words he will say as a human," As long as you are human…" Jojo blinks with his confusion,"What? What do you mean?!" Dio smiles evilly and yanks out the Stone MaskTM in his clothes,"I'm throwing away my humanity, Jojo!" Dio then pulls out the knife he almost pulled out earlier,"I'm moving beyond humanity!" Jojo voices out his panic,"Where did you get that?!" Dio tries to stab Jojo.

Speedwagon calls out, warning the dazed Jonathan," Watch out!" The doctor at the same time says to the officers,"Shoot him now!" Dio thrust his arm out so his knife could meet Jonathan's flesh,"I'll use your blood Jojo!"

His blade meets it's mark, but…the wrong target. Blood spills out from Georges back as the knife was thrusted deeper. Dio leaps away without the knife as the blood as he got George's blood on his fingers. Everyone was in shock, George had sacrificed his life to save Jonathan. Jonathan froze with the sudden shock and grief dropping the handcuffs, he quickly held on to his dying father. Veronica's face also turned to a quick rage and grief. Mika...poor Mika watched as her father figure spilt his blood to the ground while her used to be friend put the mask to his face. Speedwagon shouted out with outrage,"He…" Jonathan got his voice back as he felt his father's blood on his fingers,"FATHER!"

Dio laughed as he put the mask on his face, he dragged his bloodied fingers down the mask. The mask activated by putting its spikes through Dios brain. He still laughed as he was "dying". The head police yelled out with a fierce expression,"Fire!" as they shot Dio each bullet met it's mark making Dio look like swiss cheese, with the force of the bullets forcing Dio backwards he fell through the window. The rain was coming down hard as it hit Dio's twitching body. The head police man looked at the body and Speedwagon came to look. Mika ran out of Veronica's arms towards the broken window, Veronica having tried to grab Mika again to hold her back failed. Mika swallowed the scream of grief that wanted to be let out as she stared at Dios body.

Meanwhile, George reached out to Jonathan's face,"Jojo…" Jonathan leaned into his father's hand and said brokenly,"D-dad… I should have dodged that knife. I let that mask distract me." his tears ran down his face,"You sacrificed yourself." Veronica wanted to go over to the two but felt that she would be intruding knowing she would ruin it. George shook his head and smiled at his son then and gestured to his left hand, that had a ring, said,"Keep this. It was your mother's." Jonathan grabbed his father's hand,"Father!"

Speedwagon told Mika and the head officer,"That wound is fatal. How could I let this happen?!" The Captain put his hands on his head,"Sir Joestar...I told you...It's my fault. If only I had banished Dio's father!" Speedwagon looked at him quizzingly "Dio's father?" The good ol' captain began his story with a face of disgust,"When I first joined the force, there was a man who tried to pawn off that ring" he pointed to the ring that was on George's finger,"It was Dio's father, Dario Brando. Sir Joestar thought he owed a lifes debt to Dario Brando, but Brando was just a thief rooting around for gold at the ancient site. Sir Joestar knew the whole truth before he adopted Dio."

Jojo put his father's hand on his cheek while Veronica stared tearfully at the dying man memorizing his face. Jojo practically whispered the words,"Hang in there Father. The doctors will save you." Although his eyes were hopeful they were blurred by his unshed tears. George looked up at his son, "Jojo, please don't hate Dio. I am responsible. I was hard on you because you are my real son, but in Dio's eyes, that might have been unfair to him." While Jonathan and Veronica intently listened Mika finally made her way over and sat beside Jonathan. George continued his last words, "That could have driven him mad to do what he did. Please bury him next to his father."

Jojo accepted his father's wish, Mika wanted Dio buried by someone else, and Veronica just wanted to burn his body and be done with it. Jojo nodded to his father,"Father…" He closed his eyes to stop his tears. George stared at his son with loving eyes, " Jojo, it's not so bad...to die around your loved ones holding you…" The strength holding his hand to Jonathan's cheek faded and his hand fell to the ground limp. Jonathan gasped and stared shocked at his father's body, Veronica grit her teeth as tears fell down her cheeks, and Mika was in the same state as Jonathan.

Lightning strikes in the distance and thunder roared in the background. Speedwagon and the chief yelled out, "Sir Joestar!"

The police chief cried out while putting his hand on his forehead,"What a tragedy! Now his kindness is gone with the world!" Speedwagon scoffed softly,"NO! Sir Joestar passed his noble spirit along to Jonathan!" as he pointed to the trio, the audience could see the tears falling down Jonathan's face as he still held on to his now dead father,"It became his iron will, his pride, and will create his future!" Speedwagon tilted his head up,"Normally I hate crybabies, but they are different" A few tears fell from his eyes,"They live life without regrets. They're giants!" he turns to look out the broken window. His eyes widened,"T-the body! Dio Brando's body is gone!" He sees the Stone Mask laying innocently on the cobblestone, the mask that was on Dios face. Lightning lights the mask up.

"You, cop! Get away from the window!" yells Speedwagon. He starts running away from the window. Before the police chief gets away from the window however a hand with fucking super strength splits his skull in half diagonally, his top half falls onto the expensive carpet while his body flops down. Outside Dio is placed upside down above the broken window. The lightning once again flashes showing Dio's now vampire face to the world.

Everyone stares in shock at the bloody dead body and the window. One of the cops yell out,"H-his head.." Dio dramatically jumps down just outside the window and stares inside the mansion, "H-He's still alive! How?! We filled him with bullets!" Dio breathes out, probably took a deep breath before, and jumps in the mansion aiming for his prey. "Watch out! I'm sure he has a weapon!" the elder policeman yells out in a panic. Jonathan and Co. come out of their shock. Jonathan set his father's head down gently and looked towards the mask outside, "I-it can't be!" Jonathan thinks. Dio then starts slowly advancing on them. "He's coming this way!" One of the cops yells. Speedwagon snaps at them,"What are you doing?! Shoot!" Jonathan, being himself, gets up and takes the pistol from one of the officers and aims it at Vampire!Dio. Both Mika and Veronica knew they couldn't help him nor should they try. "Dio! Stop right there!" yells Jonathan. Dio smirks menacingly at Jonathan still walking until Jonathan could get a headshot on him. Speedwagon extends his arm out,"Hurry up and pull the trigger, Jonathan!"

Jonathan grits his teeth, trying to steady his shaking hand. Suddenly, a shot rings out hitting above Dios's left eyebrow. Speedwagon made the shot while Jonathan was still shaking. Dio still walks towards them, the wound not affecting him. His fingers the wound then puts his hand in front of his mouth feeling the blood between his fingers. Everyone looked at Dio with fear. He licks his fingers tasting his own blood. Speedwagon shakliy says, " He's not dead, even after that! I don't get it. I don't understand what's happening!" Jonathan was thinking in fear,"How could this be?!"

Dio finally speaks as he jumps into the air,"Jojo...This marvelous power comes from the mask, and your father's blood!" As he hovers he stabs two of his fingers into one of the three officers' heads. Lifting the officer up where he starts sucking his blood through his fingers. Jonathan explains what is happening, "He's sucking the life out of that man's life! Dio, just what have you become?!"

Speedwagon and Co. yell out in fear and point their puny guns at the new vampire. Dio smiled manically as his eyes seemed to glow blood red. He flings the body of the now dead officer at Speedwagon and Co. somehow the body breaks apart while hitting and killing the two other officers. Speedwagon got hit with an arm to the stomach and broke his arm. Jonathan trembles and thinks as flashes of his memories piece together what is happening,"I-I'm so confused...The knife… Father's death… Blood… Dio… The mask… My notes… The brain… Unknown Abilities… Unknown Strength… Dio, are you even human anymore!" He quickly looks at the terrified faces of Mika and Veronica and then to his father's face, "Father… " He gains a determined look in his eyes as he turns his gaze back to Dio. Dio looks at Jonathan as he breathes out harshly.

Speedwagon seeing the determined look in Jonathan's eyes yells out to him as he lays on the ground in pain,"STOP! You don't stand a chance! I've never seen like! Anything that powerful is a monster!" Jonathan walks past the down man and grabs a spear from one of the many suits of armor around the mansion. Jonathan examines the spear," Your right. Honestly, I'm scared." He looks up at Dio," Dio, I can't let you live like this." He positions his body ready to fight this newbie vampire,"It's my fault. I'll finish it!" Speedwagon once again tries to make Jojo see the danger,"Jonathan, stop! You'll just be killed!" Jonathan seems not to listen as he figured how Dio turned,"The brain! The mask unlocks the brain's hidden potential!" His eyes narrow,"So in order to beat Dio... " He didn't get to finish his thought as the corpse of the officer, the one that got fingered, raised as a lackey vampire.

Crying out in a panicked voice Speedwagon tells Jonathan,"The bodies!" The lackey rasped while trying to get to the downed man,"Warm blood..I want to lick it all up!" Dio, who was still on the ceiling chillin' out, pointed to the two while chuckling through his nose. The Lackey finally reached Speedwagon and put his nasty hand on Speedwagon's face, who screamed into the hand, "You don't mind if I suck your blood, do you?" Before Speedwagon could get drained; Jonathan whacked the guys head taking his head off. Jonathan thought out loud after,"This is hard. He was my brother. Father, please lend me your strength." Jonathan continued to annoy Author-chan with his thinking,"I have to be strong. Dio is no longer human. He's a monster!" Dio finally decided to obey the laws of physics and got off the ceiling back to the ground; Speedwagon sees this while Jonathan is in la la land,"Watch out!" Jonathan notices as Dio literally is above him yells out, "I can't let Dio kill another person!" He spins the spear up and thrusts it up, it goes through Dio's hand and Dio grabs the spear with his speared hand.

While Jonathan is having a strength competition with the vampire, Speedwagon thinks out loud," H-He caught it! Even after it went through his hand! Wait, the hole in his head has already healed! He's completely immortal!" Dio, being the asshat he is, pushes the spear down making Jonathan try his hardest to keep it where it is,"You're weak! So weak!" He literally bends(?) the spear making Jonathan gasps out in pain when the metal digs into his shoulder. The tip of the spear breaks off falling into Jonathan's shoulder. Jonathan loses his breath as the hot pain begins to spread from his shoulder. He falls to his knees and plants a fist into the ground as he hears Dio begin to speak," I have to play with you a bit longer to test out my new powers. Even I don't know how far they go yet." Dio turns his body to face Jonathan but doesn't see him, he chuckles slightly, "Hiding?" Dio looks around the room, his gaze going over Mika and Veronica. He sniffs the air for his blood, bringing him to some red curtains by a statute. As he stares blood seems to flow out below the curtain.

He points to the curtain as he walks over slowly, "Didn't I just tell you? Human schemes have their limits. Cease your useless struggle." as he gets closer,"Cowering behind curtains, are we? Come on out!" His hand grabs the curtain pulling it right, but as he does so fire seems to spew out at him throwing the curtain on top of him. Suddenly the half the fucking room is on fire. Through the fire Jonathan speaks," It's not a scheme. It's courage!" The fire clears out a little to make out that standing together the four, Jonathan, Speedwagon, Veronica and Mika, are holding a single lantern. Dio, literally being burned alive (?), gets up and glares at the four of them. Speedwagon notices something," He is regenerating as he burns! Is that the source of his immortality?!" Jonathan furrows his brows,"This fire isn't enough!" Dio comes towards them but is slowed due to the fire. Speedwagon grunts suddenly as him, Veronica, and Mika are pushed behind Jonathan. The lantern falls out of Speedwagon's hands putting a wall of fire between them and Jonathan. "What are you doing?!" Speedwagon yelling what both the females wanted to say to the young Joestar. Jonathan stares at them and yells,"Get out of here! This doesn't concern you anymore!" Jonathan grabs one of the three swords on the wall, convenience I think not, Dio throws the burning curtain at Jonathan. Jonathan plants the sword into the carpet and jumps off the handle grabbing the edge of the landing. He, unfortunately, grabbed it with his speared shoulder making it bleed even more. He used his herculean strength and pulled himself up. Speedwagon continued to stay,"You can't go up! The fire is spreading!" as if to prove his statement the fire grew and nearly got him,"Jonathan what are you planning?"

Jonathan now on the landing turned towards Dio, who was still on the ground floor, gesturing to him,"Come on up, Dio!" Listening to Jonathan for once he ripped off his burning shirt,"Dio I won't let you beyond these walls!" Speedwagon yelled to Jonathan,"Jonathan don't!" then the fire blew in his face forcing him through a window where Veronica caught him. Dio walks to a wall,"Is he using himself to protect his friends? It doesn't matter." he forces his foot through the wall and walks up it,"I'll just use your blood to heal these burns" Jonathan stopped going up the stairs to look back. Dio continues his monaloging while walking routine,"Fleeing up here is useless! Falling from this high won't hurt me. Instead, now the fire has cornered you!"

Patiently waiting for the dumbass to get to him, Jonathan whispers to himself,"Father… " as he steels himself and quickly glazes at his father's body. He continues going up the stairs," Father, I'll miss you. Please go to heaven along with these flames… and then, help me to accomplish my goal. Give your strength through the fire." He goes silent.

Veronica, Mika, and Speedwagon look nervously towards the now burning mansion. Speedwagon breaks the silence,"What is Jonathan doing?" Mika looks toward the scarred man with determined eyes,"Something dangerous and incredibly stupid." Veronica stayed silent. Speedwagon gets it as his eyes widen,"No! He couldn't be!" He yells desperately towards the burning mansion,"Stop! You mustn't do it!" Mika notices Speedwagon's line of sight and she pokes Veronica and points to the roof.

Jonathan looks around at the roof tiling,"H-Here he comes." Dio burst through the roof behind Jonathan making some weird mouth noise. He tries to kick Jonathan but Jonathan grabs the broken spear head in his shoulder and blocks the kick. Dio speaks when he pushes Jonathan hard backwards,"Utterly pathetic!" Suddenly, Jojo's youth flashed through his mind! Of all the seven years of memories come pouring through - his first look at Dio, Danny, Erina and the tree, Boxing Dio, playing Football, and fighting Dio. - His back hits the roof and he flips onto his stomach," My youth… My time with Dio… Now I'm going to settle the score for all that time!" Jonathan is even more determined than before.

The trio looking up in awe and fear at what Jonathan was trying to do. Speedwagon, again, broke the silence confirming their thoughts,"He's trying to make the fire burn hot as possible! If the fire burns Dio faster than he can regenerate, he'll die! So Jonathan waited for the flames to spread before going onto the roof! Don't do it!" They all yell out Jonathan's name when he pushes himself and Dio into the burning mansion. As they're falling Dio shouts to Jonathan,"H-How dare you!" While Jonathan closed his eyes and held on,"The mansion my ancestors lived is burning. Father is dead, I have nothing left. Nothing but my life." Jonathan yells out,"I'll let myself burn! I'll end your ambition in exchange for my life!" Dio doesn't like that knee Jonathan in the chest and pushes him away with his foot. Dio punches his fist through solid brick,"Good-bye, Jojo!" as Jonathan screams continue, "For a second there I admired your guts! Now cry tears of joy since you can die with your father, fool!" Jonathan seems to disappear in the inferno of flames. Dio looks more smug,"I'm beyond human! Invincible! Immortal! I will rule this world! Jojo, you gave me this power!" Jonathan grabbed the broken spear head and stabbed it into the wall. He pulled himself up, put his foot on the broken piece and jumped up towards Dios ankles. He almost made it," I can't reach!" he unbuckled his belt. He somehow manages to make it go around Dios ankle. He says to Dio, who was surprised, "Dio, I'm back!" Dio stares at Jonathan confused,"What?! How?!" the weight of Jonathan makes the brick part that Dio was hanging on to break off, plunging both of them down,"I won't let you go! Your fate is sealed!" He took out a knife from nowhere,"Here! This is the knife you killed my father with!" Jonathan then stabs Dio with said knife into his side.

Dio looks at Jonathan with rage as he tries to get him off him,"I've crushed his arms to dust and he's on fire, but he just won't let go!" Dio speaks to the determined Joestar,"Very well! Let's go into the inferno together! But you'll die alone! I'll find a way to escape, no matter how hot it is!" Jonathan clenches his eye shut from the heat then opens his eye as he yells,"Father! Lend me your aid!"

~ A sceam! A desperate cry! Whether at an urge from beyond or an instinct to use his burning home… Jojo Kicked! And across that spot! ~ Dio looked down,"What?!" ~was the statute of the Joestar family's guardian angel. ~ Dio screams in agony as he is impaled by said statute," How can a worm like you…" Dio then thinks,"I completely forgot! The more you beat him, the tougher he gets!" Dio yells out,"JOJO!" in hate," This isn't what my life was supposed to be." Dio turns to dust.

From outside as they're scanning the sides of the burning home, suddenly something comes bursting from a window and hits the ground in front of them. They recognize it's Jonathan, they all say his name as they hover around his body. Veronica gets closer to him to check his injuries. She hears him say,"Father…" Speedwagon starts crying,"You're alive. You're alive!" Veronica holds him close while tears drip onto his hair. Speedwagon and Mika Scream to the sky, "HE DID IT! HE WON!"
