Recorded on December 6th, 2026. Three days after the incident that took many lives in a small town Located in Montana. For protective reasons, the witness's name and voice will be censored.

"Let's start from the beginning. What were you doing in the afternoon of December 3rd 2026?"

"I was returning home from work. Driving up on [REDACTED FOR PUBLIC SAFETY]."

"Was there anything unusual happening while you were driving?"

"Yes. There was a white van with two people sitting in the front two seats. It was the same van I saw every day. It just sat there. The driver and passenger just looked around."

"What was so unusual about that?"

"If you lived on the same street for 10 years, you would know who moved in and who moved out. That van sat parked their for several minutes every day. Sometimes a couple houses up, maybe in the alleyway behind my house."

"Understood. Carry on."

"I parked into my driveway. The van still parked out there. I shut off my engine and exit my car. All of a sudden I hear car tires screech. The children who played up the street stopped playing and looked down the road. It was the same van as the one parked across the street but modified."

"Modified?"

"Like they added armour to the van. You know how SWAT vehicles are armoured? Like those but it was clearly some messy work on it."

"Carry on."

"The armoured van, or vans I should say, there were at least 4 of them that drove onto the street, halted and the back doors swung open. I say about 20 people exited out of those vans with assault rifles. There was two of them who had a strap of grenades over their shoulders."

"That was when they started firing?"

"Yes." Witness pauses "All of them started firing at any person they saw, including me. God was with me then, never took a hit."

"What did you do to protect yourself?"

"I ran to my backyard. I busted through my door and called my wife who was wielding the gun we had for emergencies. The look on her face was pure terror. Nothing I haven't seen from her ever."

"Good thinking."

"As we hid, all we heard was gun fire and screams. Screams of children and adults. War cries from the terrorists."

"You think they are terrorists?"

"You think a sane person, someone who works their nine to five, doing good for society, would gang up with some other good civilians and gun down a fucking neighbourhood?"

"My apologies. Please continue."

"One of the terrorists threw a grenade at our house. It didn't go through a window but it was close enough to make the windows shatter and floor shake. A couple shots later and the firing stopped. We stepped outside to check if it's safe. We saw the terrorists on the ground, they fucking killed themselves. The bastards couldn't handle the punishment for doing such crimes. A couple survivors stepped outside, they too were shaken up."

Witness pauses. He stares at his clasped hands. Breathing is heavy and shaky.

"A girl. No older than eight stood amongst the debris. She wore a purple dress and held a wand with a star on the top of it. She was scared but shockingly calm."

Witness begins to tear up.

"Do you need a break?"

Witness shakes his head. He is still looking down.

"The little girl saw me and walked towards me... she... she was tensed up. Nervous. She told me that-"

"That what?"

Witness breaks down in tears.

"She said that her parents aren't waking up. That they won't respond to her."

Witness stays silent for a minute. I wait if he has something else to say.

"Can we take a break?"

"Sure."

Witness is taken away by guards.
