Chapter 6

Harry awoke with a start, an unknown source of pain jarring him from his impromptu sleeping session. At first he was confused, his eyes trained on the vines in front of him as he tried to regain his bearings. Then he felt it, a sharp sudden pain, like a knife was stuck in his side. Reaching his hand to feel the injured area, he was slightly surprised to find that there wasn't an object protruding out of his body. 'Wha'?'

Raising his shirt up to assess the new injury he had acquired over the night, Harry wasn't that concerned with the small purple bruise on his abdomen. A crash sounded from down below, the startling noise causing Harry to shift his position unnecessarily. The slight movement caused the pirate to scrunch his face up in pain. "Th' bratty princess mist o' hud ah tantrum." Slowly, he laid back on the ground hoping the pink princess would keep her whirlwind of emotions to herself. It was difficult to breathe so the last thing he wanted to do was any extraneous exercises. No doubt Audrey would make him do something uncomfortable for her amusement. Harry closed his eyes, searching for some sort of peace from the constant pain.

Audrey sat comfortably in her little throne room, a cup of warm milk held loosely in one hand. Her staff lit up as she watched her enemies draw closer to the cabin. They were mostly quiet throughout their journey. It was almost like they were afraid to make any noise that might alert Audrey to their presence, how ironic. The thought of making an appearance crossed Audrey's mind, but then she spotted Mal and her posse entering the frame of her magic ball. The mug of milk dropped from her hands, the staff already filling in the void that was left in her hand. Quickly, she tapped her staff on the floor twice, a pink cloud forming from the inside of her scepter. It was time to scare the rejuvenated band of rejects.

Uma had been walking in relative silence with Gil, their journey mostly uneventful. She was grateful for the peace. Every now and then she could spot Gil pausing to pick at something that caught his gaze. The fact that he still had time to do other things was stressful. It was during one of these random acts by Gil that Uma noticed something unusual, the bush actually leaned the flower towards him.

"Gil." Uma hissed, her hand already drawing the sword attached to her hilt.

The son of Gaston glanced in his captains direction, a look of confusion flooding his features. "Yes?"

"Relax!" A figure emerged from the bush, scaring the blonde haired pirate a few feet from his original position. However, once he saw the rest of group a huge smile spread throughout his face. Gil was ecstatic over the reunion, the company refueling his seemingly endless amount of energy.

Uma was peeved at their ambush yet grateful. Sneaking through the bushes wasn't really what she pegged as a friendly ally. "You guys finally decided to show up."

"We couldn't let you have all of the fun." Mal grinned, proud of her boyfriends slightly successful sneak attack. The reminisce barely had time to take flight when a loud cackle of laughter enveloped the entirety of the forest. Jane and Carlos instinctively pulled each other into a hug, both trying to mask their fear. Gil felt left out so he attached himself to Jay, and surprisingly, he wasn't pushed away but he was given a look. Everyone else stayed their ground, their need to address the stress in their lives was to great to retreat with their tales between their legs like dude was currently doing.

The pink cloud finally showed the face of all their headaches. Audrey smiled sweetly at them, eyeing each of them with little more than a momentary glance before landing on the person of her desires. "Malll... to what do I owe the displeasure?"

"Return my mothers scepter." Mal responded, her arms folded across her chest. She already knew the answer that was going to be generated by Aurora's daughter.

Audrey made a show as if to inspect the weapon she was holding in her hands. Her face disappeared from the crystal ball, allowing the occupants in the forest to have a full view of the room before it landed back on her smiling face. "I actually quite like it, makes for a nice mirror, thank you."

"Quit playing games. Where is Harry." Uma was fed up and rightfully so. Obviously, Audrey was only there to play games with Mal, and of course, Mal entertained her. She watched with scathing eyes while Audrey made her slow ascent to the second floor. Everyone watched with baited breath when she finally stopped. "Well?"

The cloudy magical bubble pulled away from Audrey, appeasing the blue haired captain the answer to her question. Uma bit her lip in anger when she saw Harry in his cramped cell. Unfortunately she couldn't get a good look at him nor could she assess how well he was being kept in Audrey's clutches. She longed to hear his ridiculously lovable pirate accent.

"N'aww... it seems like he's taking a nap. Let me wake him up for you." The vines that had been obstructing parts of their vision dissipated into thin dust. Harry stirred when the distance between the two of them was closed. Audrey propped the staff next to the wall, making sure they had a clear view of the entire cell. "Haarrryyyy... wakey, wakey." She nudged him with her boot, eliciting a groan from the waking pirate.

Uma wanted to wrap all eight tentacles around Audrey's neck but unfortunately she was not in a close enough proximity. As much as she wanted the confirmation that he was still an angry, loyal pirate, she would rather not find out at his expense.

Harry propped himself up with his elbow, while his free hand found its way protectively towards his stabbing side. He breathed as shallowly as possible since that brought him the least amount of pain. "Aye?"

She could tell that there was something wrong with him. He favored his left side, he didn't spit any witty remarks at intruding his 'beauty sleep', plus his face had been contorted into a constant frown. "Harry?"

The loyal pirate squinted his eyes at the staff on the wall, it sounded like Uma but she clearly was not here. "Whit... pure nasty joke... arr ye... pul'in 'ere." Using the wall as his support, Harry forced himself to his feet.

Audrey grinned at him, matching his hunched over height. She feigned an act of concern when she removed his hand from the injury and placed her own hand there as if she was inspecting it.

Uma was about to voice something else to the cloudy gas when Audrey made a move. It shocked her and everyone that was witnessing the act. One moment, she was playing nurse and even went so far as to check up on the extent of the injury. Then the next moment, her mouth was on his, her hand pinning him with Maleficient's stolen magic. The anger and sadness was overwhelming, Uma ripping her face away from the despicable scene.

I couldn't resist. Anywayys. Last chapter will be updated... Christmas day maybe? I've got a feeling Christmas this year is about to be balls so I'll have plenty of time to write.
