Hey kids, long time no see! You're probably all wonder why I've decided to crawl out of my lair after a year of no updates. Well to be completely honest with you, I'm not too sure myself.
A lot has happened since my last note went up over a year ago: i graduated university during an international pandemic, i moved out of my parents house, i got a new job that i dont hate, i'm a cat mom and im currently living with the woman that i plan on marrying in the future. And while life is okay, its also not okay between figuring out mental health, trying to recover from a concussion, and dealing with some personal losses recently.
But despite all this, one thing has remained true: fan fiction is my escape from reality, and i want to continue to contribute to this medium where i left off over a year ago. So after receiving an anon review last night that just poured out a bunch of love and enjoyment for my little creation, despite its inactive status, I've decided to come back to this corner of fandom and revamp this series from chapter 7 of "God & His Priests & His Kings". I'm planning on taking this fanfiction in a new direction, and ultimately rewriting the entirety of "We Are Buried In Broken Dreams" as something completely different from what I had written previously. That being said, the original versions of these fics will remain available online, and in the case of G&HP&HK, I will label the original as V1 and the revamped as V2, with both sharing the same content up until chapter 7.
I hope everyone is willing to come on this long and sudden journey with me, even after all this time.
