"You're Markus, right?" Holly asked. He would be her first friend, she didn't want to ruin it.
"Y-yes," he said, stuttering on his words. He hid behind his long dark brown hair, his blue eyes that looked like clear water.
"I'm Holly," Holly said, reaching out her hand for Markus to shake. He looked Holly in the eyes for one hot second, and turned his head away as fast as possible. His face turned bright red, like a cherry. Holly buried her head in her arms. That did not go well. At lunch, pretty much the whole class was gathered around this one girl, Holly remembered her name being Lila.
"And the prince admired my bravery and said I was one of the bravest people he'd ever met," Lila said.
"Woah, that's so cool!" Rose said. Her eyes were gleaming.
