flashback continues

*Kenta slowly opened his eyes only, his vision cleared as he took in the familiar surroundings. he slowly sat up and turned around to look into the crimson eyes of his friend. "this explains why I'm not in pain." he said rubbing the sleep of his eyes."you are too much work kid, what were thinking taking that jutsu head on!!." Kurama said before sighing loudly."it was unexpected and you know it! " he said with a pout."that is no excuse.""i need more training..." he said after a long sigh."you are finally realizing it huh.., you may be considered strong in your village, but outside those walls you are no different then a normal genin. your enemies won't fight fair or give easy on you or be predictable." Kurama said seriously."yeah yeah... but you know I'll be a lot stronger with your chakra." those where his last words as he faded from his mind scape."no... I won't waist my chakra on pathetic, weaklings.""Heyy!!! I am not weak danm fox!!." Kenta raised his voice"prove it.. Prove that you are worthy of my power, prove to me that you are going to protect your brother from anything. Become the stronger." Kurama smirked at the end at the determination in the eyes of Kenta.clenching his fist, Kenta said." I will become strong, with out your lousy chakra, I will become faster than the fastest, stronger than the strongest, I will become so strong that you'll consider me a worthy rival!!..." Kenta said as he threw a fist pump towards Kurama."hahaha hahahaha.. hahaha MY RIVAL!!!! HAHAHA HAHAHA!!!!."" Believe it!!. " Kenta said with a smirked as he faded from the seal.

Kenta slowly opened his eyes, the first thing he noticed was Ino's flawless face, that seemed to bloom when she gave him a small smile. He too smiled back even though he was in emence pain at that moment he smiled nonetheless.

She Caressed his face, moving strains of hair from his face and traced his whiskers, his head on her lap. "hey" he said with a graspy voice. "hey." she returned the greeting.

"how are you feeling.?" ino asked as she continued to caress his whiskers. "I... I... I'm feel a lot of pain." he said with a chuckle that made him feel more pain as he crinched." don't try moving or laughing baka. " Ino said with a cute giggle.

"you okay.?? " he asked noticing the bandages on ino's arms.

"yeah.. just little scratches here and there." she said with a smile.

"Are you sure?? " Kenta asked, getting a nob from Ino. he smiled and mumbled. "Glad..." before getting claimed by sleep.

an hour after he passed out, Ino was still caressing his face, with worry written on her face. she couldn't do anything do anything today, she was too weak to hold herself against Shiho, if it wasn't for Shikamaru's strategy they could have been dead by now and her crush was burning up and she felt useless.

'I will become stronger, I have to. if I am going to stand beside you, I will become the strongest Kunoichi Kenta-kun.' She thought with determination in her eyes, unaware of Asuna with a bowl of water.

"Ino-san." she said startling Ino. "my apologies for startling you." she said with a smile.

"ohh it's cool." Ino said with a small smile. "what can I do for you Asuna." Ino asked

"oh.. uhm nothing, I just came here to check on Kenta-kun. how is he??. "

ignoring how Asuna announced."kenta... well he is catching a fever possibly because of an Infection, and his breathing is abnormal due to his broken ribs." she said quietly, her pain very much visible.

"you really consider him close to your heart, Don't you. " Asuna asked.

Ino was about to deny it when Asuna interrupted. "I am not blind Ino-san, I have seen you look at him. You want him to long and desire you like you, him notice you." Asuna said as she noticed Ino saddened.

"And he doesn't see me that way." Ino said with a sigh.

"no, he does... it doesn't mean that if he is not upfront about he feels, he doesn't feel the same." Asuna said with a kind smile.

"he told me that it won't happen, how do you explain that."

" make him realize that he can't live without like you can not live without you." Asuna said as she stood up to leave.

"easier said than done." Ino said in a whisperer that was loud enough to be heard by Asuna.

"but it will be worth it, will it not?." she said giggling a bit as she left. leaving Ino to her thoughts.

"(sigh) sleep tight." Ino whispered to Kenta before passing out.

Ino was waken by whispers from Kenta whom was apparently having a nightmare. Ino stat up immediately as she looked worriedlly at Kenta thinking he was over heating. realizing that it was a nightmare after checking his temperature, but her worried face never filtered as she looked at the sweating, trembling Kenta, she has never seen him this valuable.

trying to wake him up by shaking or slapping him but he never did, starting to panic she used her last resort, her Shintenshin no Jutsu(Mind Body Switch Technique) she lost consciousness as her spirit dived into Kenta.

immediately after entering kenta's Boody, Ino came across all the bad memories of Kenta. All the brutal beatings, the stabbing, the cursing, the screams of agony, the begging.

Ino feel to the ground as tears ran down her face all the screams and beatings made her crinch. She never thought Naruto and Kenta, the kids that always carried the brightest smiles have been through hell itself, that the hatred for them could lead to such horrific events.

"please stop!!!!, no more!!!, someone please stop this!!!!... please someone help me!!!." she begged as she pulled her legs to her chest, crying.

it all went silent as she felt water under her. rising her head she came across a sewer like setting, turning behind she came across a giant Cage, narrowing her eyes to get a better view of what's inside. two blood red slited eyes opened, borering into her with so much animosity and killing intent it froze her on the spot, she could only tremble in terror. she wanted to scream but her body failed to muster such a simple command, with a roar Ino was sent out of Kenta's body.

Once in her body she stared at Kenta whom stood in front of her with a serious expression near to unreadable, yet his eyes held rage, pure raw rage and lot's of it. As he looked down at Ino who was crying while holding her mouth holding in her screems.

"what the hell Ino!!!, who gave you permission to enter my mind!!." Kenta yelled angrily.

"I-I-I.. Y-You-You were not waking up so..-"

"Never do something like that AGAIN!!!." KENTA said thought his gritted teeth as he looked past her.

"W-what w-was that." Ino manager to stutter out.l, still shaking from the killing intent.

"none of your business." Kenta said coldly before disappearing in a swirl of red and orange leaves.

end of flashback.

Kenta didn't sleep at the campsite that night, he came by at dawn only to questioned by Asuma of his wear about. which he lied about telling him he was meditating not far away from the campsite.

they delivered the princess to her village the same day with no problem, for the one who got his ribs broken he was looking pretty good and that brought on questions that forced him to lie again, when shikamaru asked him how he is alright he half lied saying that the Uzumaki's have the ability to fastfoward their healing.

Ino on the other side was constantly thinking about what she saw inside of Kenta's head and evertime she thought of that she began to fear Kenta more and what he was hiding, she constant flinching when Kenta spoke or touched her were the proof of that.

they teached the village the following day around noon, with no one to slow them down they traveled through tree tops.

they all went to give their report to the Hokage whom was with Jiraiya in his office. Asuma gave the report in detail after that the genin were dismissed.

"so nothing happened with the boy??." jiraiya asked after the genin left.

"no... besides his sensory ability and him healing his broken bones in a mere night...no." Asuma said rubbing his chin.

"how did he do with your team.?." Hiruzen asked.

"(sigh).. he works pretty well with my squad, so well that shikamaru used his clones to increase his shadow's reach using Kenta's shadow clones and increase Chōji's Nikudan Sensha(Human Boulder) speed using his clones and Fūton: Reppūshō(Wind Style: Gale Palm)." Asuma said proudly.

"mhh...you are dismissed ." Hiruzen said as Asuma nobbed before leaving.

"so the sensory ability." Hiruzen asked Jiraiya who shrugged in return.

"i don't know the kid tells me what i need to know at the moment." jiraiya added.

" i will ask him about it." jiraiya said as they both turn to the door, where they heard a knock.

"come in." said The Hokage.

Kenta entered the office as Jiraiya said. " speak of the devil." with a grin.

"what did you want Kenta-kun." said Hiruzen.

"ahh... it can wait, what were you two talking about me." kenta said as he looked at Jiraiya.

"ohh... it was about your sensory ability." the Hokage said.

"why didn't you tell me about it??." Jiraiya asked

"you never asked." said Kenta as he turned his head from Jiraiya who grumbled something under his breath.

"how did you know you have it." Hiruzen asked.

"uhh... well it kinda happen when the village was after me and my brother an i felt them approach our apartment and i have been using it to keep tabs of them ever since as it increased in range through out the years " he answered as both Jiraiya and Hiruzen sadden.

"so you can sense the hole village??." jiraiya asked.

"most of them." he answered as jiraiya looked at him in awe.

"what brought you here Kenta-kun?.' the Hokage asked.

" Kushina Uzumaki.. explain." he said seriously.
