The Shadow danced across the stone walls as the three boys walked around the city, waiting for lights to start dimming in the windows.
"Their world is so different from ours." Felix sneered.
Rufio looked up at the buildings. "I don't miss the rules. The parents telling us when to do what is expected of us. Being expected to wash behind our ears and step back from the fireplace and go to sleep at dark. We never got to stay up and see the stars."
Peter nodded. "I meant for Neverland to be more than what I had when I grew up."
"You mean when you looked at the life you'd have grown into?"
Pan nodded quickly, pointing into the distance. "Let's go closer to tree line. I don't want parents to gain suspicion."
The two lost boys began to walk in that direction, collecting sticks as they went, preparing to start the fire.
Pan turned to his shadow. "Find me the girl. The bright, blonde girl from last night."
The shadow flinched as pan said 'bright' but once he was finished, it nodded and took off among the walls and windows.
Turning back to his lost boys, Pan pulled his hood back up, patting his pocket for the Pipe.
