Sometime Alone and returning to the beach

"That old PT boat on the beach, I should be able to fix it up." said Reyes as Jonah looks at her

"Look, I'll be the first to admit that I usually go in for the weird stuff - but this place is off the charts." Alex replied
"I'm not dying here! I'm fixing that boat and we are leaving!" Reyes said to him
"You know this island isn't right, Jonah. I know you do." Lara said to Jonah
"All I know is that we can't use logic to understand this place. I know you think your instincts are a weakness but they re a strength. Trust them. We need you, and Ash as well, Lara." said Jonah
"The big man's right." said Alex
"I can't leave him yet… I need time." Lara said to them as Roth and Alex left except for Ash "Lara I'll stay close to you." Ash said to her as Lara has her head rest on his shoulder "Thank god i have you by my side Ash." she said then Sam walks to them
"You know where we'll be. Come down when you're ready, we won't go anywhere without you two." said Sam then Ash hugged her then handing a gun to Sam "Keep this close. in case those savages come back." Ash replied

"Yes A hidden river entrance. The boat! We're going to use it to go inland, to the ritual chamber." said Lara

"Jonah? Reyes? Damn it. I should have gone with them." said Lara as Ash look at her "Don't worry we'll get to them Lara." said Ash then they spot the next camp and rest together
"Tears won't bring me back, girl." That's what Roth would've said. I just can't believe he's gone. No more stories about my parents, no more mountain climbs. God, I wish they'd killed me instead. But they didn't. I'm here. I'm alive and I'm certain that no boat or plane is going to get us off this island. At least not yet. I know the answer has something to do with Himiko and that monastery. I have to do something. I have to stop this." said Lara writing her journal then her and Ash start leaving the camp
they began to make their way through the marsh. As they ran, they began to hear voices up ahead...and they soon realized it was the Solarii.
"Quietly, Lara…. oh shit!" said Lara as Ash keeps her close and they ducked

"No, it's too damned dark. They could be anywhere."
"You sure they're here? Maybe I should just climb a tree and wait this out. Great. Fucking wolves." while they spot wolves Ash and Lara gets more closer quietly
the second Solarii suddenly hearing some noise as the two ducked "Hey! If you're hiding, come out! Show yourselves! Come out, come out!"
"Anything?"
"No. Nothing. Gotta keep lookin."
"We ain't gonna find anyone up here. Waste of time…"
"Stay focused… just keep moving." they were talking, Lara readied her bow, preparing to shoot when she's ready "I was on a crew that was sent into the monastery. We saw a lot of dead soldiers up there."
"No shit? You see any Oni?" while he was surprised Ash is behind him with his kunai knife ready to strike
"Yeah I… Look, I don't want to talk about it."
"Seriously brother… what did you see?"
"Look, whatever they are… whatever they're doing up there. It's some dark shit alright. I'm not going back, even if Father Mathias orders me." they were talking more Lara shot one of the guys in the head.
With the way through the forest clear, Lara and Owen made their way through it, stopping at an old hunting lodge.

"Dang this isn't great bieng Trap in the island. " Ash replied as as he and Lara heard gunshots they ran and saw some of the Solarii tried to shoot the wolves away. Luckily, Lara shot the one with the gatling gun with an arrow before he could kill any more wolves.
"My god they're using wolves as trained guard dogs and thier Cubs are there as well." Lara replied as Ash saw how the Solarii treat them "We're getting those animals out they can't be caged like this." Ash replied as Lara agreed with him then he has his kunai knife change to pistol mode then shoots directly at the cage releasing the wolves and they attack the solarii killing then gunshots were heard and screaming as they stopped then the wolves left
"At least they can run free." said Ash then Lara found something
"Hmm, some kind of container. Who left these behind?" Lara replied as Ash has a look at it
"Interesting. " said Ash as they found the cave exit that brought them above the shanty village where Grim had sacrificed himself. "It's this place again Ash." said Lara
"I know Lara." Ash replied held her more
"You there Ash, Lara?" said Alex's through the radio
"Alex! we've been trying to you reach you all morning." said Lara
"We just got to the beach. Boat's in pretty bad shape. Without the right tools, we might have trouble getting it up and running. We could sure use your help down here." said Alex
"See what you can do, we're on our way." said Ash
"Watch yourselves out there lovebirds." said Alex
Soon, Lara and Ash, ziplined down the rope to get to another building on the other side, then began to shimmy across another ropeway to another tower with a gondola system. They jumped once one of the crates was close enough and then began to make their way down until they were surrounded in nothing but mist.
"Great a misty morning. " Ash replied
"Ash? Lara, are you two there? Alex said that you're on your way down?" said Sam through the radio
"We should be there soon." Lara said to Sam "we need to tell you something." Ash replied
"What's going on?" Sam wondered
"I don't think we can leave this island… something is keeping us here. we have to go back to the monastery." said Lara
"Are you two sure?" said Sam
"Yes. Sam. Ash and I need you to keep this to yourself for now. We're going to help Reyes fix that boat, but then We're taking it inland.
"Ash, Lara… I don't know about this…" said Sam
"It's ok San Just trust us - it's the only way." said Ash
"Alright… you two be careful." said Sam Luckily, there was a tower right next to them that they could zipline to. they climbed up a ladder to get to the top. As they reached the top, Lara looked around, suspiciously.
"It's too quiet…Ash." Lara replied as Ash nodded "Too quiet as if we're walking to the trap!" Ash replied as the solarii appeared
"Hey! they're here!" said one of them "Go, go! Use the lines!" said the second as Soon, the shootout began. Lara use her firearm and Ash used his firearms and magic to strike and shoot any Solarii that weren't taking cover
"Flush them out of there!" but the solarii was shot by Lara "Come on! Is that your best!?" said Lara
"Get down there and take that one out!" other said to the next Solarii to strike Ash as they zipline towards them but Ash shot one but they saw one using the turret to fire at them but the ship starts falling Ash and Lara managed to grab hold and start climbing to safety
"You kill my brothers… now you die and we take the girl!" but the solarii got shot by the turret "Come on, you piece of shit! Hahaha" but the other one was shot before getting to them
"Stop… the whole thing is going to fall… please! Help… help me! I don't want to die." said the solarii was holding on letting Ash and Lara continue forward of climbing
"Coward! Kill the boy and bring the girl alive Mathias wants her and I'll stop shooting!" but it was too late for the other guy who had fell while Ash and Lara made it to the top "Hahaha! Hold still." the other solarii continues shooting "Hang on Lara!" Ash replied as they continue to run to the obstacle collision course then they ziplined while the tower collapsed they jumped every zipline then land to the river stream Ash and Lara continue shooting wired boards then reach to the waterfall they swam to the land together
"Something tells me the others found an easier way down." Lara said as Ash helps her up "At least we did an extreme Lara." Ash replied as Lara agreed with him as they continued moving forward Ash and Lara found thier way back to the beach…
"Made it… now where are they?" Lara asked Ash as they spot Sam "Sam! we're here!" said Ash as Sam saw them
"Ash! Lara!" said Sam as They hugged then Jonah appeared "Alex will be sorry he missed out on this." he said
"Where is Alex?" Ash asked
"Heading over to the Endurance to grab some tools for Reyes." said Jonah
"Jonah… Give the hoist a try." said Reyes
"This has got to be our best chance, right?" said Sam
"We've got to try." said Lara
"I'm glad you and your boyfriend decided to join us, Lara." said Reyes
"What can we do to help?" said Lara
"Help Jonah." Reyes replied as Ash and Lara helps Jonah out They try to pull the engine out but fails.
"Shit." said Reyes
"We'll be able lo lift it more smoothly with some kind of block and tackle." said Ash
"You're right. I should be able to fashion one from some pulleys." said Jonah
"There might be some on that rigging we can use. we'll check it out." said Lara
"Be careful, Ash and Lara." said Sam as Ash walk to her "No worries Sam." Ash makes her better with a kiss as Sam blush
"Lucky bastard." Reyes whispered "What was that Reyes!" Ash asked
"Nothing!" she said as Ash and Lara are on the move "Can't wait to get home when it's over and try out new clothes." Lara replied as Ash has a look at her "Don't know Lara you're torn ones make you sexy and a real survivor." Ash replied that made Lara happy then keep going
