Man, that chapter took a while to write. I wouldn't say it was hard, but I had come up with a few writer's blocks while writing the gym battle. I tried something different with the battles so I hope you guys like it. The next chapter will focus heavily on Ancalagon and I have a plan for that. Garchomp can fly and once Ancalagon evolves from a gabite Aragorn will be able to fly around the sky. When I say Ultimate blade works I don't mean the actual thing. It will be a bastardized form of it at most. It would be way too overpowered to simply give Mandos that. Like with the blade works the most Mithril can or will be able to do with bloodbending is slightly move an opponent's attack. He won't be able to control a person, but more like slightly move an attack so it misses him. This requires extreme amounts of concentration and would take years to move an opponent's arm so I wouldn't worry too much. The pokemon suggestions are cool. I love aerodactyl and Meloetta. I'm not sure what pokemon Aragorn will get, but he will slowly get more. It is a journey after all and I enjoy fleshing out many different types of pokemon. I mean it is your opinion if you like the previous chapters more. I don't own anything. Feel free to give constructive criticism and reviews
I said exasperatedly 'Elesa you are holding the map upside down'.
Elesa responded rather irritatedly with 'I know exactly how to get to the ferry. We just walk down to the river and walk along the side until we get to the ferry'.
Aurea just laughed and said 'Don't get mad Aragorn, I am sure we will get there in no time. There is no need to rush to get to Castelia City. I think I saw a Paras herd around here. I really want to test some of the fungi on the little bugs'.
Smaug stood up from his spot with N on his back and trotted over to Aurea. He growled at the little professor. It seems like Smaug didn't want to wait for another battle any more than I did. I had already made the call to the gym leader scheduling a gym match. It seems that the new gym leader was the one and only Burgh. We were going to have a three versus three pokemon battle. I had already decided on which pokemon I was going to use. I looked back over to see that Aurea had taken the map away from Elesa. The two were arguing and I walked over to Smaug. I rubbed his golden fur and I looked up at N.
I asked 'How are you enjoying the ride so far'?
He hugged Smaug's neck and said 'Smaug's fur is so soft. He is so kind whenever I talk to him'.
I nodded and I turned when the two girls called out our names. It seems that Aurea had taken the map from Elesa and had figured out where to go. We were off in a few moments, meanwhile, Elesa was complaining the whole time about us going the wrong way. Eventually, we made our way over to the bridge, and just like in the anime the bridge was still being built. Thankfully, there was a ferry that was willing to take us to Castelia city. A young girl came up to us with her Gothorita. She quickly held her hand out to collect the money. I dropped a few dollars into her hand for N and I. Aurea and Elesa followed suit. The girl smiled and the Gothorita did a small twirl.
The girl smiled and said 'Thank you for the money. The bridge is gonna be finished up pretty soon'.
N asked from Smaug's back 'Do you think we can come back and see it once it is built Aragorn'?
I nodded as we walked onto the boat. It seems that N was brimming with excitement from Smaug's back. It was something I would expect from a little kid and I was happy that N had started to show more emotion around our little group. Aurea and Elesa were gazing at the river on the edge of the ship. It was truly gorgeous and a flock of Wingull was soaring through the skies. Even a few Mantine were jumping out of the water. I sat down next to the two girls to look at the view. Smaug curled up next to us and N clambered down his back. A few people stopped to look at Smaug. I can imagine why. Shiny pokemon were a rarity in the games and they were probably even rarer here. The boat ride was smooth and only took about an hour for the whole trip. The ferryman even started to call out some interesting facts about the river. One was that the people in Castelia city flipped the flow of the river so instead of going out to the sea it headed towards Nimbasa city. It was one of the reasons people in Nimbasa City didn't like people in Castelia City.
Once we got off the boat and headed into the city it became clear that the city was packed. People were speed walking through the whole of the city. A person bumped into Elesa and just continued to walk. It reminded me a great deal of New York. Elesa was pissed off. She charged after the man and started to yell at him. It was too late though and I had to pull her back so she didn't get lost. The crowds consumed the man as I continued to hold a pissed off Elesa.
Aurea grabbed a hold of Elesa's wrist and said 'Come on Elesa. Let's go shopping. Maybe We can buy some new clothes and then we can make it to Aragorn's gym match on time'.
Elesa smiled and stopped fidgeting. The two were quick to ditch me and head out into the city. I wasn't overly worried about the two. Anyone who tried to do something to them would get to meet Elesa's Blitzle and I am sorry for them. That Blitzle had a bite to it. N and I were quick to head towards the gym and I was met with a massive crowd in front of the gym. It seems like a festival or something was happening in the city. I was quick to try and push through the crowd, but I was met with resistance. The crowd wouldn't budge. I slowly made my way towards the front of the crowd and I was able to catch the end of a battle. It seems that Burgh had just taken down a Sawk with his Leavanny. I wonder if this was for the festival or the gym was having outside gym battles so people could watch. It would be smart if Burgh did that considering him being a new gym leader and all that.
Burgh called out to his assistant 'Who is the next challenger? I can take them on right now'?
The assistant answered 'His name is Aragorn sir and I would recommend you heal up your pokemon. He has a recommendation from Lenora and Sylvain as well as being the assistant to professor Rowan'.
Burgh laughed and said 'Thank you for the suggestion, but my pokemon will be just fine. They are the best type after all. No one can hurt my precious bug type pokemon'.
I walked up to the gym leader and said 'I am here to start my gym battle'.
Burgh smiled and said 'Can't you see the intensity in the crowd? Everyone is brimming with excitement. I wonder what pokemon you are going to use? It doesn't matter because after this I will paint this memorable event. You are the final and most important battle of the day'.
I smirked and said 'I'm not much of an artist, but I do know that I won't be losing in this battle'.
The two of us walked over to the battlefield and took our sides. The referee called for both of us to release our first pokemon. Burgh threw out his first pokemon and a Bedrill appeared onto the battleground. I threw out my first pokemon and Mithril appeared. I had given this battle a lot of thought beforehand. While Mithril wasn't necessarily my strongest pokemon Mithril had plenty of moves to take the victory. I also want Mithril to get more battle experience and this was the best chance for him to do it.
Without much else, Burgh called out his first move 'get close and use mega drain'.
I was quick to counter with 'Icy domain then skate around and use ice beam'.
The Beedrill zipped forward and tried to get right in front of Mithril to use mega drain. Mithril quickly shot out water along the floor as he dodged the mega drain. Mithril then stopped for a moment and focused on changing the water to an icy arena. Beedrill was quick to take advantage of this and hit Mithril with a mega drain. This led to Mithril being pushed back and then he stood back up. Mithril was quick to stand and started to skate across the now icy floor. The crowd started to cheer from the background when they saw the newly created ice rink. Mithril continued to skate around the floor and shot off ice beams that pushed the Beedrill back in the air. My plan here was that Mithril wouldn't be able to compete with a pokemon like Beedrill that was extremely fast in the air. My solution to this for Mithril was to create an environment where he could shine. This was either a watery or icy environment. It was much easier to create an ice rink than it was to create a small ocean. After another missed mega drain Beedrill was hit with an ice beam. Burgh called out for Beedrill to fly up and attack from the sky.
I countered with 'water gun in the sky and then freeze'.
Mithril stopped and waited for the Beedril to fly above him in the air. Mithril fired off the water gun and the Beedrill dodged the water gun. Then Beedrill shot down and had its two spear-like arms jabbing down at Mithril. Mithril quickly froze the water gun attack from above and icicle spears shot down towards the Beedrill. Beedrill ended up hitting Mithril, but the trade-off was worth it because the icicle spears came down and nailed the Beedrill. Mithril was pushed back on the ice and ended up skidding on the ice. Beedrill was much slower to get up and slowly recovered from the attack. Burgh didn't seem fazed though and that was something I had come to expect when facing gym leaders. All the older gym leaders l I had fought so far seemed very good at keeping their cool. I would guess it was because they had been thoroughly checked before they were offered the jobs by the league. The crowd roared in approval of the battle so far. I was able to catch a glance and see that Elesa, Aurea, N, and Smaug were all off to the side cheering me on. Although it seems N was hesitant to cheer. I guess I couldn't change what he thought in only a few days. Burgh called for his Bedrill to keep the pressure on and use pin missile.
I called out 'Evade it and use icy wind'.
Mithril swiftly evaded the first missile and brushed off the second pin missile when it hit his flipper. He quickly skated around the Beedrill and let loose a torrent of icy wind at the Beedrill. The icy wind connected with the Beedrill and forced it to fly higher in the air to evade the quickly dropping temperature of the match. Mithril let loose a few more gusts of cool air and this lead to a cat and mouse chase between the two pokemon. Mithril would release an icy wind and Beedrill would be forced to move further up in the air. I inhaled and exhaled revealing that the air around us had slowly become colder. It was a big part of my plan. In fact, it would remain one of my best plans to deal with bug pokemon. Most bug type pokemon and animals had the same critical weakness that many trainers seemed to miss or completely ignore. That critical weakness was that most bugs tended to move sluggishly in the winter due to there not being enough heat. I know that pokemon aren't the same as animals, but they had many similarities and it seems that my assumption was right. While Mithril was right at home in this environment and he was moving faster than he normally would the Beedrill was sluggish. Its wings had even started to move slower. It seems Burgh had picked up on my tactic and had decided to try and end the battle early. It was a good move on his part, but I think his newness of being a gym leader led to him being unprepared for an actual challenge. He rushed out an order for Beedrill to poison jab Mithril.
I ordered Mithril 'counter it with Metal claw'.
The Beedrill moved forward still relatively quickly and its spear-like arm had taken on a sickly purplish glow. It was obviously preparing a poison jab. Mithril shot forward and its entire flipper had formed into a silvery-blue color. The two attacks clashed and Beedrill was forced back by Mithril's metal claw. It was the main reason I called metal claw out. Steel type pokemon and steel type moves negated poison. I always hated poison in the games. I thought it was a cheap tactic when I was younger, but the older I got the more I realized how strong it could be. Imagine being able to take down a Mewtwo. I can tell you right now the only way for a person without decades of training experience and battles to take down a pokemon like Mewtwo would be to have a toxic paralysis combo. It was also one of the first things I had planned to defend against. Poison was just too much of a threat. Hell, I even had Ulmo on my team. He was my big poison hitter. I focused back in on the fight to see that Burgh called for Beedrill to use roost.
I clicked my tongue and called out 'Rain dance and then icicle spears'.
Beedrill started to float up in the air and Mithril had stopped and started to perform Rain Dance. Soon the clouds were moving in and I looked over to see that many of the people in the crowd had put on raincoats to cover themselves from the rain. I looked over and smirked when I saw that a frustrated Aurea didn't have a raincoat. Elesa and N were both wearing their own. I looked back over and I felt the first few raindrops. Mithril stopped dancing and the water that pooled around him formed into thick spears of ice. He lifted one and launched it like a missile at the still recovering Beedrill. This interrupted the roost and Beedrill was only able to slightly recover from the previous damage. Mithril continued to chuck spear after spear at the Beedrill. I was thankful that the drop in temperature earlier hadn't changed the rain to snow. I would need rain very soon. Now that Beedrill had recovered some Burgh ordered Beedrill to fly high into the air and store up energy from the sun.
I ordered 'water pulse then aqua jet'.
The biggest problem with Burgh's Beedrill was that it wouldn't remain in one spot. If Mithril could get it to stay in one spot for more than a few moments then we could end this battle with an ice beam or an icy wind. Beedrill for all of its power wasn't very durable. Its mega evolution might be, but right now this Beedrill only had speed and the chance to poison. Mithril shot off a water pulse that the Beedrill dodged expertly, but it wasn't able to dodge the aquajet. The aquajet hit the Beedrill and forced it to start to plummet. Instead of righting itself, the Beedrill continued to gather the sun's energy. The Beedrill received enough energy and let loose a solar beam. I cursed under my breath as the attack directly hit Mithril. Mithril was flung back towards me and slid on the icy terrain. He slowly stood up and Burgh called for Beedrill to use fury attack.
I called out 'We only need one hit use Water torrent'.
Mithril nodded at my command and got in his stance. Beedrill came charing in slowly closing the distance in between it and Mithril. Mithril remained still and focused on its flipper. The water that formed around his hand started to swirl chaotically. The water continued to spin faster and faster and Beedrill continued to get closer and closer. Mithril finally pulled back his flipper and charged towards the flying bug pokemon. The Beedrill shot out a flurry of attacks that grazed the edge of Mythril's skin. The crowd behind roared in excitement as each of the Beedrill's attacks landed on Mithril. Mithril remained firm though and pushed through the attacks to let loose a terrifying blow with his fist. The attack slammed into the Beedrill and the Beedrill was flung across the floor stumbling the full way. Mithril remained in his position and continued to breathe out slow deep breaths. His whole body was shaking from exertion. The rain continued to pour and the Beedrill didn't get up. Mithril straightened himself and walked over to me. Burgh quickly ran over to Beedrill in a shocked state. It seems he wasn't expecting to lose his first pokemon so soon. The referee called the first battle in my favor. I was quick to withdraw Mithril. It was clear that he was exhausted and he had earned the rest. He would also be extremely helpful if Burgh decided to use Levanny in one of the later battles.
Burgh said 'And here I thought you were just another regular trainer. I would love to paint you and your pokemon in their full glory. I'm afraid I can't let you win though. I am the Castellia City gym leader after all'.
I shrugged and said 'I may call you up to paint them one day, but I don't see how being a gym leader helps you. Gym leaders are gatekeepers to the league and I plan to face down all the elite four members'.
The crowd quickly hushed at that and bergh had started to laugh 'You think you could face the league. They are the best of the best. They crushed me when I challenged them and offered me a gym leader job instead. Why do you think you could take them'?
I thought for a moment then finally said 'I have seen stronger and I won't stop till I beat it. Let it be known that the Elite four and champion are only stepping stones to my goals. I plan to change this world for the better'.
Elesa yelled out 'Yah kick his ass Aragorn'!
Aurea quickly pulled her back and said 'Elesa you can't say that. You are being a bad influence on N'.
My words rang out across the field and the audience had gone quiet from my declaration. It seems that I had gotten a little too worked up by Burgh. Burgh had laughed at me and it didn't sit right. He also seemed to have a grudge against the Elite four members. I wonder where the kind and peaceful artist was that was in the anime. His personality just wasn't the same. He was cocky instead of cool-headed. There were small similarities though. He loved bug types and painting, but this wasn't the same Burgh. My best guess would be that he was younger and a pivotal moment in his life hadn't happened yet that would change his personality. Burgh seemed to be done talking and he sent out his next pokemon. A Golisopod clicked its pinchers when it came out onto the field. I smiled and released my next pokemon. It was time for Ulmo to shine. Ulmo appeared onto the battlefield and released a quick melody.
I made the first move and called out 'Thunder and Electrical Stimulation'.
Burgh quickly called for the Golisopod to use sword dance and to follow it up with razor shell. Ulmo shot a thunder that interrupted the sword dance and electricity started to shoot out from him. Ulmo continued to generate electricity as the Golisopod charged forward with a razor shell made of water. Golisopod's razor shell was just about to hit Ulmo when he dodged the attack. Ulmo's speed had increased thanks to Electrical Stimulation. He responded with an electrical guitar that nailed into Golisopod. Golisopod slid back on the ice floor. Ulmo chased down Golisopod and released another barrage of lightning guitar strikes. Burgh called out for Golisopod to use mud shot.
I countered with 'Thunder wave and follow up with sludge bomb'
Golisopod released multiple mud shots at Ulmo and one hit Ulmo in the face. This led Ulmo to miss the thunder wave and the Golispod took advantage of this. The Golispod followed up with a furry cutter that hit Ulmo multiple times. Ulmo skidded back and then released a sludge bomb in the Golisopod's face. Golisopod recurled and returned into its ball. Leavanny appeared on the battlefield and I quirked my eyebrow at that. It seems that the emergency exit was the Golisopods ability. Burgh seemed to be just as confused as me. He looked rather annoyed actually. I guess this happened more than he wanted. It was good to know that Ulmo had done significant damage to the Glisopod. Leavanny was a tank in its own way.
I countered with 'Surround the area in poison fog and use acid'.
Burgh quickly called out for Levanny to use protect and Leavanny brought up a protective shield to protect itself from the acid. Ulmo was quick to release plumes of poisonous smoke. The smoke soon started to wrap around Levanny and Burgh called out for Levanny to use grass whistle.
I called back 'Play the guitar'.
Ulmo slammed down on his guitar to avoid the grass whistle. The two sounds clashed and they negated each other. Ulmo continued playing his guitar. I caught a glance to see that many of the fans watching the match were dancing along to the guitar solo. It was mostly the younger people that were dancing because the older people looked appalled at Ulmo. Even Burgh seemed put off when Leavanny's song was blared out. I acted quickly on my next command. It was something that Burgh seemed to lack because he was still stunned by Ulmo's display.
I ordered 'Electrical stimulation and poison jab'
Ulmo generated more electricity and started to pulse it into his muscles. This allowed him to shoot forward and send a poison jab at Leavanny. Burgh was quick to call for Leavanny to dodge, but it was too late. Ulmo was already in front of Leavanny and had sent out a poison jab into Leavanny. Leavanny was forced back and then Ulmo started to breathe harder. It seems that stimulating the muscles with electricity didn't stop them from fatiguing the muscles. The move seemed to increase the amount of fatigue in the pokemon.
I called out 'Acid spray quickly'.
Ulmo opened his mouth and sprayed out plumes of acid Leavanny skillfully dodged the attack and Begh called out for Leavanny to use grass whistle again. This grass whistle led to Ulmo falling asleep. Ulmo was asleep and Leavany started to use dream eater on him. Ulmo started to thrash around in his sleep and tried to break out of the nightmare. I tried to encourage him, but it was too late and Ulmo ended up fainting with Leavanny standing over its downed opponent.
I grumbled under my breath 'Stupid psychics and their overpowered strength'.
I threw out Mithril. I know that the type match-up wasn't the best, but Mithril had ice type moves that would help to hurt and maybe even knock out Leavany. The environment was still raining thanks to Mithril's earlier rain dance. The ground was also still covered in ice. Mithril came out and puffed out his chest. He was ready for his battle. Leavanny didn't waste any time and let loose a razor leaf.
I called out 'deflect it with water pulse and use ice beam'.
Mithril was quick to act and the water pulse hit the razor leaf negating the attack. Mithril then let loose and ice beam that hit Leavanny. This led to Leavanny being pushed back. Mithril was quick to skate around on the ice. Burgh called out for Leavanny to use sunny day. The clouds and rain had stopped and harsh sunlight filled the battlefield. Burgh then followed this up with a solar beam. The sunny day helped to speed up the collection of energy and Leavany sent off a solar beam.
I called out 'Ice beam now'.
The two-beam moves collided and a large explosion filled the battlefield. A cloud of dust formed around the whole area. Once the dust had finally cleared both Leavanny and Mithril were knocked out. I sighed and called him back into his Pokeball. I pressed the ball to my lips and bowed for a moment to thank him for his battles today. I silently released my last pokemon and Ancalagon took the field with a roar. This was met with excitement and I could see why. Dragons were known for being incredibly rare. Ancalagon was massive even for regular dragon types. Golisopod came back onto the field. Ancalagon was quick to roar in a challenge. The crowd roared back in excitement. It seems that Ancalagon was lapping up the attention. I had decided on Ancalagon mostly due to the last battle. He didn't have the chance to shine in the last battle with Lenora. The crowd waited with bated breath. Burgh made the first move and called out for his Golisopod to use ice beam. I could respect that Burgh planned on using Ancalagon's weakness.
I ordered 'Earth armor and rush forward with dragon claw'.
Ancalagon slammed his tail on the ground and the earth around him formed into the armor that surrounded him. The ice beam hit Ancalagon and he roared. He moved forward almost as if he wasn't affected by the ice beam and I smiled. It seems Ancalagon staying in the crown tundra for so long had helped him develop thicker scales. Ancalagon rammed into the Golisopod and Burgh seemed stunned that a dragon type pokemon wouldn't be affected by an ice type move. Ancalagon slammed down on the Golisopod with a dragon claw and continued to do it viciously. Burgh quickly called for Golisopod to use hail. The clouds that disappeared from the previous battle formed above the sky again. It soon started to hail and Ancalagon continued to chase after the fleeting Golisopod. Burgh ordered for Golisopod to use blizzard.
I countered 'Dig and then let lose a dragon pulse'.
Golisopod stopped in its backtracking and shot off a blizzard. Ancalagon dove into the ground and the attack missed. Burgh ordered Golisopod to keep an eye out. I smiled at that. The hail had helped to block their vision and since Ancalagon was underground the lack of vision wasn't very important. Ancalagon appeared from the ground and let loose a dragon pulse. The dragon pulse shot out through the hail and hit the Golisopod. This led to Golisopod being flung back towards his trainer. Golisopod slowly stood up and Ancalagon rushed forward to close the distance between the two pokemon. Burgh called for Golisopod to dodge and then use muddy water.
I ordered Ancalagon 'Brick break and then follow it up with dragon claw'.
Ancalagon charged forward with brick break and slammed it down into Golisopod. Golisopod let loose a wave of muddy water. It slammed into Ancalagon's earth armor and started to chip away some of the earth platings, but Ancalagon simply ignored the water and stood strong. He roared in anger. He slammed down a dragon claw into Golisopod. Golisopod crumpled under the weight of the attack and was knocked out.
The referee said 'Golisopod is unable to battle and that means that Aragorn is the winner of this gym battle'.
Burgh said more to himself than anyone else 'I guess I am not suited to be a gym leader. I didn't even last a full month undefeated and I even used my real team'.
Burgh was quick to stand and slowly walked towards me. I quickly called back Ancalagon before he could rampage more on the battlefield. I would go to the pokemon center later. I wanted to watch Elesa battle Burgh first. He looked hesitant to come to talk to me. It seems that Burgh hadn't lost any matches yet and I was his first loss. That must sting. Burgh slowly pulled out one of his badges and handed over one of them. I was quick to grab the badge and put it in my badge case. Burgh held out his hand and the two of us shook hands. The crowd started to cheer for me and I was drowned in their praise. N, Aurea, and Elesa came up to me and flung their arms around me. I pulled the group in a big group hug.
Burgh said off-handedly 'Your pokemon aren't strong enough to take on the league. I will enjoy painting your battles though especially the defeats'.
I grunted and N said 'You should focus on yourself. I can tell your pokemon respect you, but they don't love you'.
Elesa responded next 'I'm challenging you next and I plan to show just how strong our little group is'.
Burgh smirked at that and Aurea spoke up 'I don't see how you can talk. You just lost to Aragorn'.
Burgh's smirk fell and he walked back over to his side of the battlefield. He quickly pulled out two new pokeballs from a machine. It seems like he was going to go easy on Elesa and I winced at that. Elesa was not someone you took lightly. She would clock you in the face if you did. It didn't help that she had already seen some of his real team. The two walked to opposite sides of the battlefield and the crowd surrounded the area again. This time though many people were holding food. It seems that this event in Castelia City was meant to be a battling event where people could challenge the gym leader. I may ask Aurea about it. I had never heard of an event like this besides tournaments. It seemed as if Burgh had accepted almost any challenge and it would explain why I had to schedule a gym battle before I got here. Elesa sent out her Blitzle and Burgh sent out a Swaddle. I winced once again and rubbed the shin that Elesa had kicked earlier today. I kinda felt bad for the prick.
Alright, so not much else in this chapter besides the gym battle. I also want to explain Burgh a little bit. So I made him a new gym leader and that's where I thought his cockiness would come from. Gym leaders are a big deal. I thought the fight helped show off Mithril some and Ulmo. I know he lost without taking any down, but he did deal with extreme damage to the other pokemon. It gave Ancalagon an easy win and that is one of the reasons I will be focusing on him next chapter. I also wanted to explain why I wrote Burgh like that. I want Aragorn and Burgh to have a rivalry that would match Paul and Ash to a level. So the two won't like each other. I just want to make sure everyone knows that the gym battles are going to be spaced out more soon. The first few Unova gym battles were so close to each other that there isn't much time to write in smaller subplots on these routes. The next gym battle will happen in two or three chapters and it is going to be a new gym leader or maybe an old one. Well, that's pretty much it. I hope you guys enjoy it. Feel free to write reviews and constructive criticism.
Aragorn's team:
Smaug (Arcanine) moves:
Thunder fang, psychic fang, fire fang, play rough, ember, extreme speed, quick attack, flame thrower, fire burst, will-o-wisp, flame wheel, crunch
New moves: flare(a blinding light that stuns enemies), eruption (Flames spread across the floor that erupts like volcanoes), Magnetism (a field of electricity that is used like protect that can paralyze opponents when one touches it), Fire control (takes extreme concentration to use and leaves him extremely tired)
Ancalagon (Gabite) moves:
Dragon breathe, sand attack, sand tomb, bulldoze, dragon claw, dragon pulse, dig, slash, bite, crunch, ember, mud shot, brick break, scorching sands
New moves:
Ground armor (Ancalagon surrounds himself in the earth to increase his defense. This is one of his favored moves because he can take more damage and act as a mass of destruction). He will be getting more moves, but right now he is an extremely powerful dragon and Aragorn has been focused on him developing resistances to ice and fairy type moves.
Mandos (Lucario) moves:
Aura Sphere, detect, copycat, feint, force palm, metal claw, quick attack, nasty plot, power-up punch, bone rush, sword dance, bullet punch, dark pulse. He knows quite a lot of moves thanks to being so old. He will learn new ones though to help adjust his style and Aragorn doesn't know he knows all of these.
New moves:
Bone rush swords (He uses bone rush to create swords to fight with).
Gimli (Machamp) moves:
Fire punch, thunder punch, ice punch, low kick, revenge, vital throw, seismic punch, bullet punch, mega punch, low sweep
New moves:
He has mastered many forms of martial arts and will use those through matches. He will also be getting more new moves though so don't worry. I plan to use some different types of animes for these like the seven deadly sins, and My Hero Academia.
Mithril (Prinplup) moves:
Aqua Jet, bubble, water gun, metal claw, water pulse, icy wind, water sport, hail, ice beam, rain dance. He will be learning more moves, but since he is relatively new he doesn't know as many as Ancalagon or Smaug.
New moves:
Icicle spears (Mithril forms icicle spears from the water around him and launches them at his opponents), Blood bending(It is a work in progress. He controls slight movements in an opponents body), icy domain (Mithril freezes the floor around him and skates across the floor), Water torrent (Water forms around Mithril's flipper and spins in angry torrents. It greatly resembles Sasuke's Chidori in a water form. It has the same power as one of Blastoise cannons. Aragorn has been trying to mix it with other moves to increase its power even more), more moves to come
Ulmo (toxtricity) moves:
Acid, Acid spray, Spark, volt switch, thunder wave, thundershock, thunder, poison jab, thunder punch, eerie impulse, sludge bomb, venom drench, more moves to come
New moves:
Poison fog (This move creates a poisonous fog that causes pokemon to become poisoned. Ulmo is able to shoot the cloud out of its pores. The cloud is extremely thick), Electrical stimulation (Ulmo stimulates its muscles to increase the reaction in its muscles. This lets Ulmo compete with other members of Aragorn's team). I have plenty of ideas for Ulmo and his electric and poison type moves.
Mordor (Larvesta) moves:
Ember, string shot, flame charge, struggle bug, absorb
New moves:
None so far
Elesa's team
Emolga
Blitzle
Aurea's team
Minccino
N's team
Zorua
