AN So quick update. my aunt is undergoing treatment. They found more cancer...she has been diagnosed with colon, cervical, stomach, and ovarian cancer. She is now on her 4th week of treatments and it seems to be going well.
Work is a bit crazy. we had our first positive covid tests and have begun the process for that. As to what that entails it means once we are cleared to enter the facility we immediately have to change to facility provided scrubs...(it is a pain in the ass!) so there are two dressing rooms/restrooms we are allowed to use. after we change all personal possessions are placed in a paper bag. we cannot have our phones or other possessions on us. in order to use them, we have to change back into our clothing and go outside. we are not allowed to have them in the breakroom...so the writing process is going very slowly.
Chapter 6
Jackie yawned as Kitty and Red sat talking quietly. She watched the older couple thinking to herself she wanted something like that someday. She took a second to picture it.
"Jackie, we are going to head back to the hotel will you be okay here?"
"I am fine, go, get some sleep we have a long trip tomorrow"
"Okay," Red said leading Kitty away. They bid a good night as they left.
The next day
Jackie nodded as she listened to the doctor's orders. A small, nervous smile graced her face as she signed the discharge papers. She was glad to be leaving the hospital but terrified of what would happen when she returned to Point Place.
Red and Kitty would be arriving soon and they would be on their way to Point Place. The nurse knocked at the door and Jackie waved her in.
"Your mom brought some clothes for you to wear home"
"Oh, Mrs. Foreman isn't my mom. I wish. she is pretty awesome"
"I am sorry I just assumed" the nurse stuttered
"It is fine," Jackie smiled, "I am Jackie what's your name"
"Sorry I am Mandy" the nurse smiled "so umm do you know what you are doing with the baby yet. Sorry, I just realized how rude that sounded. it's just I heard a couple of the older nurses talking about you and your single status..."
"I am keeping the baby. I may not be married but I have a pretty great support system and this amazing guy who wants to be with me and has made it clear that my being pregnant doesn't matter"
"Really?" the girl smiled softly, "that's pretty cool"
"Yeah, it is" Jackie smiled.
"Okay well let's get you ready to get out of here"
"Great let's go!"
A few hours later Jackie was curled up in the back of the Toyota. They were on their way to Point Place and Jackie was nervous. She leaned gently against the pillow behind her so the bumps in the road wouldn't hurt her any more than necessary. She was looking out the window lost in her thoughts and before long they were nearly there. Jackie suddenly realized what that would mean and started to panic a little. They pulled into the driveway and suddenly the car was parked. Jackie took a deep relieved breath when only Eric and Fez came out to greet them.
"Now Jackie I know you said you didn't want to see us but I don't care I missed my goddess," Fez said throwing the door open.
"I missed you to Fez" Jackie smiled
"Devil it is good to see you,"
"I missed you to foreplay,"
"Hey that was mean" Eric grinned
"Ok, I am sorry I missed you too, dork,"
"close enough,"
Jackie smiled in relief at the fun banter. She looked around carefully as she waited for Mrs. Forman to get her wheelchair.
"He is staying at Fez's place until you say he can come over"
"Thank god," Jackie sighed, "I am not ready to deal with him and the questions he has today. At least by Monday Ben will be here and I will have him backing me up,"
"Ben?" Eric smirked
"Yes, Ben, I think you will like him," Jackie smiled softly
"Well why don't you tell me about him after we get you into the house," Eric smiled
"Well let's go then,"
They made their way into the house. Jackie spent the next hour talking about Ben and everything going on in Minnesota. Eric and Fez listen attentively as she talked. Her excitement and personality making them both smile. Jackie let out a sudden yawn and with a sheepish smile said she was tired and ready to lay down.

Ren: The crazy nurse should have been named Mandy...oops sorry
Ella: well it would have been closer to the truth
Mandi: Hey! I take offense to that! My resident at work love me and they enjoy it when I am working on the floor as a CNA.
Bob: Pretty sure they only like it because you show off pictures of the baby bunnies you have
Mandi: Hey that is mean...and to think this chapter was violence-free...well maybe the Authors note should start having violence...
Ren: Nope I think it is perfectly fine
Ella: I agree anyway how about we end this note so you can actually write a chapter
Mandi: Fine!
Mandi: Okay loves leave a review and have a great day! Oh wait...I forgot something...
Ella: Nope shut up and go write
Mandi: But...
