Chapter 16
"I don't get why it's such a big deal for you with this guy?" Said a tall bruiting man with a long face and deep voice.
"Yeah! And what's in it for us if we help ya out with this guy anyhows?" Said a tan skinny man with short slick black hair.
"Money. Once we are married I will give you each 5 million dollars. But yous must do everything I tell you two idiots to the tee! Any slight mishaps and you two can ruin everything!" A woman spoke as she applied mascara to her eyes.
"Ok. I still don't get why you want someone to hurt you though? But we'll get it started." The tall man said as he left the car.
"Hows do ya know this guys is even here?" The skinny man looked to a wintery resort out his car window.
"I just know. Now get going I can't be seen. Not yet anyway." The woman said as she pulled out her phone and kissed her screensaver.
"Don't you worry my darling. I am here at last for you my heart, my world, my Sesshomaru." The woman held her phone to her heart as the man drove off.

As Rin laid Sesshomaru down gently she lifted his leg for his heel to rest on her shoulder. She than grabbed his ripped up under shirt he had originally used to make a bandage to pack his wound with his blood soaked shirt and tied the remaining ripped up piece around his now packed wound tightly.
"I'm so sorry this is all my fault. I shoulda never pushed to have sex with you. You said no. I shoulda listened. I'm so sorry." Rin cried as she held his leg up.
"You make it sound like you raped me." Sesshomaru said groggily.
He tried to sit up and was immediately forced back down by Rin.
"Sesshomaru! Your awake! Are you ok? How are you feeling?" Rin asked filled with concern.
"Well my back hurts since you refuse to let me get up!? What the hell was that?" Sesshomaru said with irritation.
He looked around to see what was going on and than soon remembered everything that had happened.
"No! You gotta keep your leg elevated. You got cut much deeper than you said! We were sitting in a pool of your blood just a minute ago! Don't ever do that again! You scared the shit outta me! I was so worried.." Rin had shown so many emotions in such a quick time that it made Sesshomaru a little uneasy.
"What the hell are you? Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde? Choose one emotion and stick to it. I told you I'm fine. Let me get up." Sesshomaru said again trying to sit up.
"NO! You want one emotion fine!! How about anger!! LAY DOWN!" Rin yelled.
Sesshomaru laid down perfectly still and was shocked for a moment. He than began laughing and brought his hands to rest under his head. "You got a little crazy in you don't you?" Sesshomaru smiled charmingly at her.
"How can you be like this? You almost died and yet your trying to flirt and act like nothing is wrong?!" Rin looked to him with sympathy.
Sesshomaru smiled again and gently pulled his leg back.
"Plea-" He cut Rin off before she can speak. "My pride doesn't allow me to." Sesshomaru finally brought himself to stand. At first he had to catch himself from the dizziness and pushed threw the intense pain he was feeling as he stood on his leg and walked over to his coat. He pulled out his cigar case and leaned against the window. "Mind?" He asked before he took out a cigar to light.
"No. Go ahead. It doesn't bother me. Yours smell really good oddly enough..." Rin blushed and tried to whisper her words.
"They smell good to you cause you have attached my image to the scent. As does every woman. Especially women who have worn my coat." Sesshomaru lit his cigar with a zippo lighter that was hidden in a pocket on the inside of his coat.
"That lighter is so plain and ugly. Why didn't you get rid of this one? The other one looked like it cost you a lot of money?." Rin asked as she felt the attraction and mystery of this tall and extremely sexy man pull her in again.
"Because that lighter had a price on it. This one doesn't. It was my grandfathers. I never met the guy, he died supposedly the day after I was born. And my father told me that his last words were for me to have this." Sesshomaru tossed it over to Rin to look over it. There was a small engraving on the lighter that read.
When intelligent people pride themselves on not understanding, it is quite natural they should succeed better than fools.
"I don't know if he wanted me to become some genius inventor, or was trying to tell me never to be satisfied and keep setting new goals or limits for myself, or if this just so happened to be the only thing he had on his person when he died. Either way I was very grateful that he kept me in mind and fought actual death to spend one day with me before he passed away. So that is why I did not just toss it into a fire." Sesshomaru exhaled making "Os" with his cigar smoke.
"I'm sorry I called it ugly." Rin walked over and handed it to him.
"It's plain and not as flashy as everything I own. So yes in comparison to everything you've seen it is ugly. So no need to apologize for telling the truth." Sesshomaru blew an "O" around Rins face.
"Wow! That's amazing! It didn't even touch me! How'd you do that!...Ugh sorry? Kid moment I guess..heh heh..." Rin smiled and giggled embarrassingly.
Sesshomaru smiled at her and put out his cigar. "It's fine. We are all allowed at least one kid moment right?" Sesshomaru lightly chuckled as he rubbed his neck and than looked Rin in the eyes. "I'm sorry your so afraid. I should have tried to go back the way we came." Sesshomaru looked out the window to ashamed of his self believed weakness.
"Don't say that! You almost died saving us both! This is all my fault why your hurt and we're here! Please don't say things like that ever again!" Rin said with vigor and pain lacing her words.
Sesshomaru was about to speak again when he could here Kogas call for him.
"HEY SESSHY!! YO SESSH! YOU IN THERE?!" Koga yelled out.
Sesshomaru realizing he'd no longer have the adrenaline as before to un barricade the door decided to create a new means of exit. He elbowed the window after covering up his arm with his coat.
Rin was shouting threw the door trying to get the attention of the man calling out when she suddenly jumped in fear from the shattering glass. She ran over to make sure Sesshomaru was alright and seen him throw his glove outside to catch the attention of Koga and Ayame.
Koga walked up to the broken window and smiled. "Hey there Sessh. Interesting way to spend your birthday. Yo! Dance chick good to see ya!" Koga waved.
"Clear the window as much as you can. I created a barricade after breaking the door open to get outta the cold and I can not take it down. It would seem my wound is effecting me far more than I originally anticipated. Take care of Rin first yous can always come back for me later." Sesshomaru said as he took control like his normal self.
"No!! Your to badly hurt! You need medical attention I'm fine!" Rin shouted out.
"Yeah yeah, quit your whinin. I'll just take the two of you outta here easy peasy! You ready honey bun?" Koga shouted to his lady love who was nowhere to be seen clearly.
"Ready!" Ayame shouted and blew up the door with a small explosion.
Rin jumped into Sesshomarus arms in complete fear and covered her ears. Sesshomaru being use to the odd couples ways of handling things simply turned his face toward the window to Koga and shielded Rin using his body.
"Hey Mr.Taisho! Hey Rinny!" Ayame ran up to Rin and hugged her tightly.
"Hi? Ayame.. thanks so much for coming!" Rin hugged her and figured she could always ask about how Sesshomaru really knew the couple and if they really were just trainers later. Now was a time to be grateful and show her appreciation.
"Not a problem! Me and my Koga would never let anything happen to you Rinny!" Ayame held her as she walked the young girl out.
"So? What happen here?" Koga looked to Sesshomaru teasingly as he held Sesshomaru over his shoulder by draping his arm around him.
"I can walk just fine. Leave me be." Sesshomaru hesitated at first.
"Oh shut up before I shoot you in the foot." Koga rolled his eyes and held Sesshomaru a little less gently than before.
Sesshomaru accepted Kogas help after trying to put pressure on his leg and hissing in the immediate pain it brought him. He hated the smug look on Kogas face when he did.
"Come on we called a medical team to your place in case you guys were dead or somethin." Koga roughly threw Sesshomaru onto a snowmobile.
"I'm not some dead corpse!" Sesshomaru yelled at the over cocky Koga. "I can get on myself. Along with drive myself." Sesshomaru said trying to get his leg into position through the pain.
"You know what Richie bitch! Go ahead! I fuckin dare ya! You arrogant bastard! Come on baby doll let Mr.Money bags here save himself!" Koga got on the second snowmobile with Ayame leaving Rin to join Sesshomaru.
"Are you sure you can?" Rin asked concernedly.
"Of course. Just get on." Sesshomaru started the snowmobile and was off.
Koga smiled to Ayame and took off right behind them.
"Daddy where is uncle sushi!?" Momo screamed pulling on her fathers hair.
"Mom is uncle sushi not coming back no more!? What happen? Why'd uncle sushi leave?" Uryu and Renji asked repeatedly.
Inuyasha and Kagome tried to calm their three tired and angered kids best they could.
"Are you ok uncle Kohaku? Is your heart hurting cause your girlfriend is dead?" Rinrin asked while drinking from a sippy cup.
"What! Dead! Oh man no!!" Kohaku slumped even more into depression.
"Rinrin! Don't say that about her! That was not nice. I'm sure everything will be fine." Sango said while nervously rocking back and fourth.
"I'm sorry uncle for saying she was died." Rinrin said with hurt in her voice thinking her mother was upset with her.
"Sango? Maybe you should sit down? How about some tea?" Miroku offered trying to calm his pregnant wife.
"No I'll be fine. How about you? Are you hungry? I can cook you a roasted pig?!" Sango offered.
Miroku gave a nervous smile. "Ugh no? That's alright my dearest perhaps another time. We have enough food for now don't you think?" Miroku said in worry that his wife was dead set on throwing a whole pig on a spit right at that moment.
"Your right. I'm Sorry I'm just so worried about Rin. And Sesshomaru. I hope they are both safe..." Sango sighed out as Miroku held her by the shoulders.
"You trust those two who went out looking for them?" Byakuya asked Toga who nervously stared out the window.
"I don't even know them. They know my son and said they can though. So I have to put all my hope into them don't I?" Toga replied back without looking.
"Hey don't worry. You know Sesshy. He's always been the kind to look after himself. He's a smart man. You raised him to be. He'll be fine trust me old friend." Hoshi-Omi tried to offer comfort as he placed a firm hand on Togas shoulder.
"Yes. Yeah you are right. What am I even worried about." Toga continued to stare out the window.
"I feel terrible. How could none of us had even noticed... Not one between three of us gave our son a second thought...and on his birthday no less.." Izayoi cried to herself.
"Oh come now Izzy. You act like he's an 8 year old little boy. As long as I've known Sesshomaru he has always been a fighter. Don't give up on him now. You know that'd only upset him." Tsuki-Omi tried to comfort Izayoi by holding her in a side hug.
"I should have stood with him. I feel responsible somehow.." Tsubaki stood with her hand to her chest with worry and fear engulfing her.
"It's no ones fault...We all just have to believe they'll both be ok. Sesshomaru doesn't give in easily. Even to the weather." Kagome tried to giggle lightly to lighten up the mood.
"Byakuya. May I see you over here for a moment?" Hisana pulled her husband to the side to speak to him privately.
Byakuya followed her silently. As they stood face to face in the dark hallway.
"Byakuya? Maybe you can find them quicker my darling?" Hisana whispered.
"No. That is not something we can do so freely. To interfere without need is beyond purpose and reason. We mustn't intervene in such a way." Byakuya spoke with his arms crossed.
"I understand... I just can't help but to worry and think...What if that had bee-" Hisana was cut off by Byakuyas soft capture of her lips.
"It would never have come to this. That much I can assure you my love. I will never again allow anything to happen to you or my family." He swept his wife's bangs from her eyes and wiped a stray tear from falling.
Hisana held his large hand within her small delicate ones. She smiled up at her loving husband and hugged him tightly. "I apologize for asking. You are right my darling. I should always trust in you knowing what is the right thing to do." Hisana gently kissed her husband lovingly and held him awhile longer while they were alone.
Byakuya was silenced with her kiss and embrace. He to wished to remain with his loving wife for a moment.
The couples moment of peace and comfort interrupted by Hoshi-Omi excitedly saying how they found them and that they are safe.
The Kuchiki and Omi couples joined the Taisho family outdoors as they ecstatically cheered seeing Sesshomaru and Rin.
Their joys short lived when he struggled to lift his leg from the snowmobile and the sight of blood staining his pants.
"SESSHOMARU! What happen to you!? Are you alright!?" Inukimi gasped and insisted on helping her son into the cabin along with Izayoi who kissed him repeatedly saying how worried she was.
"I'm fine. Honest. I can walk on my own." Sesshomaru said as he hurried his nails into the palms of his hands to mask the intense pain he was filling as he walked slowly inside.
"Good to see you are alright Mr.Taisho." Byakuya said as a friendly greeting.
Sesshomaru nervously straightened his stance. He had no way to make himself appear slightly more presentable but still tried as was his nature. "Ugh Mr.Kuchiki! I am so sorry for being so late. I wasn't expecting you here with the storm and all." Sesshomaru tried to stand on his leg and could no longer hold himself up. He kneeled with the opposite leg catching himself before hitting the ground making everyone gasp in worry.
"There is no need for unnecessary apologies. If it is inconvenient for you at this time it is completely within understanding you'd need us to leave." Byakuya said extending a hand for him to stand.
"No. Not at all. As you can see I just need to get freshened up is all. Please sit, eat, drink. I'm more than sure Kanna can get you anything you'd ooof!." Just as Sesshomaru was about to finish his sentence he was bombarded with hugs by Kanna and the returned Jaken.
"Master Sesshomaru! I am so sorry! I should have never left your side! Now your beautiful leg has become injured! Not that it isn't still beautiful! It is and only adds a sense of character and intrigue to your most impressive package." Jaken was hit on his head hard enough to make him fall by Sesshomaru who gritted his teeth embarrassed.
"Oh boss! I am so sorry! This is all my fault boss! I'm so glad your not dead! I so didn't want to work for your father! He is so stupid compared to you! Not that your stupid or anything? I just mean that I don't like your dad or your brother. Your ok though because you don't stare at my ass or down my blouse like the other creeps in the office. Or at least I'm pretty sure you don't? I really hope you don't boss cause that is considered sexual harassment. I was so worried about you though. It really worried me when you wasn't back sir and it truly is all my fault I should have never complained to leave. Like I'm even willing to let you look at my ass and down my shirt I'll even have sex with you to make it up to you boss! OWW!." Kanna was knocked to the side on her head as well.
"Are both of you complete idiots! Is that seriously how yous talk in front of people! In front of my niece and nephews! Shut up and don't talk anymore unless I demand an answer from you two morons! Kanna I expect a change of clothes and shower readied immediately, JAKEN! Make sure that our guest have everything to keep comfortable." Sesshomaru looked to the long staircase in dread.
"Of course boss right away boss! It's totally ok that you hit me just now. Even though I could sue you for that. I totally won't though! Honest nothing you have to worry about boss!" Kanna ran up the stairs nervously.
"Of course master Sesshomaru! I shall carry your magnificent body wherever it must go! No matter what you need master Sesshomaru I shall be by your side!" Jaken bowed with tears that flowed of joy of his return and well being.
Sesshomaru palmed his face in embarrassment. "Sorry about them...? They are just very..." Byakuya cut off Sesshomaru.
"There is no need. Tend to yourself. We are fine. We have the company of your family." Byakuya sat with his wife on the sofa.
"Right. Thank you." Sesshomaru nodded his thanks to Byakuyas understanding.
Sesshomaru once up the stairs with the help of his father and brother hugged and greeted the crying kids who were afraid to even touch him.
When he ran into Rin who had been smothered in love by Kagome, Sango, Miroku and Kohaku he stopped to make sure she was alright. Once the awkward moment had passed he went into his room to shower and get cleaned up.
"It sure was lucky that the Kuchikis called over a medical team. We were all thinking of just waiting for that storm to have passed to come and look for you and that girl. We never imagined you'd get hurt so badly boss. I also really need to confess something to you..." Kanna stood with her back against Sesshomarus shower door as she spoke.
"What's that? Is it anything actually worth my time Kanna? Cause so far you've just been babbling about foolishness." Sesshomaru said in irritation as he washed out his long hair.
"It's my fault this happened to you and her. I wanted to come back to the cabin because I was angry at Kohaku. We've kinda been fooling around.. and I guess I got a little upset when he got so protective over that little! Oh never mind. She isn't bad. I'm the one sleeping with another girls guy..I guess I'm more like my sister than I thought Huh boss?..." Kanna held out his towel for him as Sesshomaru exited.
Sesshomaru stood silent and thought about what she had just said. "So that's the reason for your being absent? Whenever I've reached out and you were unresponsive you were otherwise "detained"? If that is the case simply make it known to me you will be "busy" before we can continue working. Who woulda thought the little punk had it in him though? You know he's planning on proposing to her right? I was in the store when he bought the sorry excuse of a ring." Sesshomaru looked to Kanna as he brushed out his hair.
"Your not angry? You almost died because of me?" Kanna looked at her boss with shock.
"You think yourself much more important in my life than you actually are Kanna. I got myself into that situation for the sake of my nephews and niece. There was no other reason for it." Sesshomaru said knowing it wasn't entirely false. However it was not even close to the truth.
Kanna looked down to wipe her eyes from tears of relief and happiness. "Yeah, thank you boss. I guess I'll go and get you a cane or something? That way you don't gotta depend on no one to help you around all the time." Kanna gave Sesshomaru a quick hug from behind and than ran out.
Sesshomaru shook his head and sighed in disbelief to his assistants idiocy. He slowly dressed into one of sweat outfits being that it was the only thing he owned that fit loosely around his legs.
Soon Jaken appeared with a long black cane with a rounded handle made to look like the legendary and sacred shikon jewel. Sesshomaru used it even though his pride scolded him for doing such a thing. However being carried up and down the stairs by his father and idiot brother was way worse in his opinion.
Now down stairs with the rest of the party Sesshomaru put on a fake smile and attempted to liven things up by making fun at his own situation.
"Uncle sushi? Are you really not dead?" Momo asked afraid to reach out to her uncle to lift her up.
Sesshomaru smiled at her and leaned his cane against a table so he could hold her.
"Sesshomaru be careful maybe you shouldn't?" Inuyasha said trying to get Momo away.
Sesshomaru ignored his brother and lifted Momo hiding the pain he felt very well.
"Uncle promises baby girl. I'm not dead and I'll never be dead enough that I can't hold the only girl I love." Sesshomaru touched his forehead to hers.
Momo began crying hard against her uncles embrace. She wrapped her hands around her uncles neck tightly and began crying her words of love and worry.
Sesshomaru held her and calmed her until she smiled again. The display of love bringing a smile to everyone in the rooms face.
Once Sesshomaru had set her down he was going to resume his conversation with Byakuya until Renji began asking him something.
"Hey uncle sushi? You know what I just realized? With one of your legs all messed up your a lot weaker than me and Uryu." Renji gave a taunting grin to his uncle.
Sesshomaru smiled at his wise nephew. He could clearly see how scared and quiet Uryu was behaving and knew that this was Renjis way of cheering up his younger twin brother. "Not at all. I can still take you punks on easily." Sesshomaru brushed his hair to the side with a cocky attitude.
"Let's show this giezer who's boss Uryu!" Renji yelled out eliciting a smile from Uryu as they ran up and tackled their uncle.
Inuyasha initially was worried and was about to yell until Toga put his hand on Inuyashas shoulder and gave a smile that said your brother is fine let him do this.
Inuyasha sat back and watched his brother wrestle his sons. A grin of happiness over took his appearance when he suddenly recalled the first time that Sesshomaru held the boys.
(Flashback)
The dark cold air spun around flurries of snow as a very exhausted new mother held her new born sons in the room of a hospital.
Toga held both his wives hands so tight that they turned red as they watched the boys suckle at their mothers breast for milk. Smiles of unconditional love over came the three new grandparents.
"Knock knock. Sorry I'm late. Had to pick something up for the new mother." Sesshomaru walked in with a clear to go container of cheesecake from her favorite restaurant.
Kagome smiled and became teary eyed. She handed the boys to Inukimi and Izayoi to burp them as she made herself decent. "I can't believe you remembered." Kagome reached out to hug her best friend.
"Of course how could I forget. It was the first promise I ever made to you." Sesshomaru kissed her on her forehead and looked at her with pride and happiness. "Congratulations to you Mrs. Inuyasha your a mother of two now." Sesshomaru teasingly said to her.
"Why do you say that like it's a bad thing?" Inuyasha mocked as he walked up to his brother.
Sesshomaru hugged him tightly and looked to his brother with the largest smile. "I can't believe I'm looking at a father right now! You still look like that little punk kid who follows me around everywhere." Sesshomaru joked as he hugged Inuyasha again. "I'm proud of you little bro. This is an amazing accomplishment." Sesshomaru looked to him happily.
Inuyasha wiped away a tear at his brothers words and tried to brush it off as getting Sesshomarus long ass hair in his eye making everyone giggle lightly.
"You wanna hold them?" Inuyasha asked Sesshomaru as he was handed Renji by Inukimi.
"What! No way. Their to small and fragile and what if I break it?!" Sesshomaru looked over at the alien like creature his brother held.
"Come on it'll be fine. Your gonna have to eventually. Besides if you break one there's always the back up." Inuyasha teased Uryus little foot.
Sesshomaru smiled and looked to his brother nervously. "Should I like wear gloves or something? How does this work?" Sesshomaru nervously asked with a smile.
Inuyasha chuckled and handed his brother Renji with ease. "Your probably more sterile than this hospital. You'll be fine." Inuyasha stepped back and seen a look on Sesshomarus face that he's never seen before.
"Oh wow..Hi little thing. Your so small...I don't even know if you can understand me..I'm your uncle. And I'll never let anything bad happen to you. Or you." Sesshomaru lightly laughed as he looked at Uryu. "They are so tiny. He's so perfect though." Sesshomaru said to Inuyasha while never looking up from the sight of the smiling baby. "What's their names?" Sesshomaru asked while letting Renji play with his finger.
"Your holding Renji, and this guy is Uryu." Inuyasha said with a larger than life smile.
"Renji. Hi Renji. Do you like that name? I do. I think it suits you." Sesshomaru happily bounced and rocked his nephew.
(End flashback)
I wonder if you even realize how lonely you truly are bro. I wish you didn't think or feel that you were a burden. How is it even possible for you not to see how much we all truly love you.
Inuyasha thought to himself for a moment before he felt his sons tugging on his hair. "Ow! Hey what was that for!?" Inuyasha said angrily at his sons.
"Dad! We asked you if we can give uncle sushi his present now!" Renji said still angrily tugging on his fathers hair.
"Yeah Dad! Why are you so spacey?" Uryu looked at his fathers facial expression.
"Sorry boys. Guess I didn't hear ya. Ugh yeah that's fine I guess. Sesshomaru that alright with you?" Inuyasha looked at his brother picking himself up off the floor.
"Yeah whatever the kids want to do." Sesshomaru stood straightening himself out. "You ok little brother? You seem distracted?" Sesshomaru asked unknowing to what could possibly be perplexing his younger brothers mind.
"Yeah. Just glad your home. We were all really worried about you." Inuyasha said in place of telling his brother how much he loved him.
"Yeah well. You should keep a better eye out for your nanny and than I wouldn't have had to be out there." Sesshomaru said irritatedly. He didn't want to acknowledge everyone's pity for him as it was starting to hit his pride.
"Yeah whatever." Inuyasha rolled his eyes at his brothers stubbornness and walked away.
"I must admit Mr.Taisho. I never pegged you as a family man. Seeing you with them has definitely changed my perspective on you and your company." Byakuya said with arms folded as he watched Sesshomaru walk around to sit in a chair that had written on it "ukle sushee" in colorful and glittery marker.
"I hope it is has changed your perspective for the better Mr.Kuchiki.? I also am hoping you can forgive my request to reschedule our meeting seeing just how much I don't really have room to say no to my family." Sesshomaru said now wearing a ridiculous paper made birthday crown with noodles glued to it.
Byakuya smiled as he watched Momo hand Sesshomaru her gift bag. Nodding his agreement to Sesshomarus words.
"Open my present first uncle sushi! Your gonna love it sooooo much!! It's pretty just like you!" Momo jumped and clapped in excitement.
"I can't wait." Sesshomaru smiled at the nervous energy of Momo as he tortured her by opening it as slowly as possible.
"Hurry up uncle sushi!!" Momo screamed and ripped the gift bag into pieces and pulled out the furry boa meant for women.
Sesshomaru stared at the tremendously large womens gift and smiled.
"You can give it back. We tried to tell her. But you know Momo." Inuyasha said with a undertone of why would she think you'd like that weird thing?
"Why would I do a crazy thing like that? I love it Momo! Thank you sooo much!" Sesshomaru hugged his niece and wrapped the furry nuisance around his one shoulder.
"Why are you wearing it like an idiot? You look ridiculous..." Inuyasha said confused as to whether his brother really did love such an ugly thing.
"Your just jealous cause you don't have style. Quit being so lame." Sesshomaru said as he continued to smile and play with Momo and the furry boa.
"Yeah! Quit being so lame daddy!" Momo stuck out her tongue making everyone laugh.
Uryu gave his uncle a small box that had a pair of leather gloves inside.
"I wanted to buy you these cause I seen you wear them all the time. And look they have a cool design on them!" Uryu showed his uncle the soft leather gloves with black flames going up the fingers.
"Thank you! These are perfect and just in time to. My old gloves got destroyed today." Sesshomaru smiled and hugged Uryu for his gift.
"Hey uncle sushi. I got this for you. It's not as nice or cool as your stuff. But I thought you might like it.." Renji embarrassingly handed his uncle the money clip from his pocket.
Sesshomaru got up off the chair and and kneeled to Renjis small height. With Renji still holding the jeweled small clip Sesshomaru hugged him tightly. "I love it. And I think it's better than any of the ones I have. Thank you Renji." As Sesshomaru reached for the small clip he felt an electricity surround him and Renji.
As he felt that he and his nephew were being sucked into some massive hole he held on tightly to Renji promising they'd be ok. Suddenly after what felt like a frozen moment of years Sesshomaru blinked. He and Renji looked to eachother to see if the other felt and knew the same thing.
Everyone looked to them confused. "Hey you guys ok? Yous look like you seen a ghost?" Kagome touched at Renjis shoulder.
"Mom!! Dad!! Uryu!! Momo!! I can't believe it!!" Renji hugged his family as if he hadn't seen them in years.
"Can't believe what buddy? What's wrong?" Inuyasha looked at his son curiously.
"Ughhh.. he can't believe that I love my gift so much...! Ugh Renji can I talk to you over here for a moment?" Sesshomaru pulled him into the hallway.
"Uncle sushi what's going on? Why are they acting like nothing happened!?" Renji said in a worrisome confusion.
"Renji...I don't think even a seconds passed here.. let's just keep whatever that was to ourselves. Ok? Just act normal." Sesshomaru hoped his nephew would comply.
"Yeah, ok. But it did happen. I mean look your leg is still healed." Renji agreed to keep secret the crazy adventure he and his uncle experienced.
Sesshomaru walked back over with Renji and looked upon his family.
If Renji remembers all of that than it wasn't just a random dream...what the hell was that...?
