Preview: The Exalt and the King
Chrom and his Shepherds were successful in gaining their alliance with Regna Ferox. However, upon returning to Ylisstol they receive grave news. Lissa's friend, Maribelle, has been captured by Plegian forces. Those same forces also invaded Ylisse and razed a village. The King of Plegia claims Maribelle invaded his country and attacked his soldiers, and that he will only return her in exchange for the Fire Emblem – the treasure of Ylisse. Upon refusing Plegia's King's demands it seems Maribelle is to be killed when Ricken, a skilled young mage, arrives and saves her from her fate. But Ricken and Maribelle are surrounded by enemies on all sides; their only chance at survival is to reach Chrom and the Shepherds, but can they connect with their friends before the Plegian soldiers get to them?
