CHAPTER 9: INTERROGATE THE TIGER
After classes are over and time for club activity, our twin eyebrows Tiger shakily arrives at the basketball club at the exactly time he was assigned for. He braced himself for what to come from the school ever own devil king.
'It's not gonna change if I stay here forever! Let's just go in and be done with this!'
With that thought in mind, Kagami bravely opens the locker's door and walks inside. There he is, sitting on the bench like a king sitting on the throne, smirking lightly, Akashi Seijuuro.
"Ah! Kagami Taiga, you're here right on time. Take a seat"
The seated teen gestures toward the bench opposite of him. *gulp* The taller redhead's Adam's apple going up and down as if he wanted to swallow his fear. Then he complies and sits down.
"…Um… Did… did I do something wrong?... sir?"
"Oh! It's nothing like that Taiga, I just want to know how did you become acquaint with my …um… classmate, Kuroko Tetsuya"
"Ah! Um…"
That was completely throw scaredy tiger off his track. Kagami is confused and wanting some answers to why the AKASHI SEIJUURO interested in his relation ship with Kuroko. However, one look at his Caption's face, he starts singing like a canary.
FLASH BACK
KAGAMI'S POV
After the hell that the devil for a caption called training, my body was on its last leg and I couldn't even have enough energy to drag myself home much less fixing myself a meal so I went to the next best place on Earth, Maji's Burger.
"Welcome dear customer!"
With the tiredness and hunger took a toll on me and made my face like a man-eating tiger scared the poor cashier to dead. After lots of sorry from the girl and a quick order of 20 burgers, I sloppily sat down at the table in the corner of the store to not been watched or disturbed by anyone while I ate. When I was gobbling down the hamburgers, a voice reached my ears.
"You eat a lots"
"!"
Surprised at the sound, I choked on a piece of bun and have to gulped down the coke to swallow. I turned to look at the boy who magically appeared in front of me.
"*cough cough* what… What the?! Where the heck did you come from?!"
I yelled at him in accusation. The boy, who looked younger and so small and pale like he never went outside before, answered me
"I was here before you came and sat down on my table and eating away the mountain of burgers like nothing."
He said in such dead-pan voice with dead serious face and the fact I barely remember seeing a tray before sating down so I took it as it was to not making a big deal out of it cause I was too tired for anything but eat.
"Oh! Is that so?! Sorry man! I was too tired and hungry to see anything!"
"Ah! Don't you worry! I have natural low present so people tend to miss me even though I was right next to them."
"Really? It's a pretty cool ability!"
The pale boy suddenly stopped and stared at me with eyes full of an emotion that I couldn't put a finger on it, however it was gone so quickly that I thought I was seeing thing. He gave me a small smile but it was breath taking and I could just stare at him not blinking.
"Thank you, Kagami-kun"
"No... no prob… Wait! How did you know my name?!"
Regained his emotionless face, he pointed to my gym jacket that have my name on its right pocket. Embarrassing, I laughed it off and re-introduce myself
"Hahahaha! Of course! Anyway, I'm Kagami Taiga, study at Rakuzan school! What about you?"
"Good evening Kagami-kun. I am Kuroko Tetsuya and also a student at Rakuzan school"
"Oh! That's awesome! Which class are you in? I'm in D-*** class"
"I am from class A-***"
And with that answer, my face turned pale as I shakily asked
"You study with A… Akashi Seijuuro?"
"Akashi-kun? Yes, I am"
'The poor poor soul! I have to warn him! He's too weak to survive whatever mess up thing that the Devil cook up!'
Before I could give any warning about the dangers and tips to survive the Devil King, a waitress came and gave us some flyers to us, well more like to me
"Dear costumer, in two weeks our store would sell some new burgers and beverages! For the first 100 customers who first arrive and order them would get a special discount! Hope you would participate in it!"
"Um… thanks! I'll try take part in"
"Excuse me, Miss"
"Kyyyyyaaa!"
The waitress shouted in surprised as my news bud address her
'Whoa! So it is true about his low present! Even I almost forget he was there!'
"Um… I'm sorry sir! Um… here the flyer for the special discount for the news dishes!"
He just stared at it before asking
"Miss, what about the limited Giant Vanilla Milkshake? Why has it been blackening out?"
"Ah! It is only limited in Tokyo Maji's Burger only. I'm sorry that in our store in Kyoto could not sell it."
"Then is it still sell in Tokyo?"
"Ah! Yes! But tomorrow is the last day of its sale"
"Is that so…. Thank you Miss"
"It's nothing Sir! I am sorry again for not noticing you and screaming like that!"

With that, the waitress bowed toward us and walked away. Before I could ask if he like vanilla milkshake that much, he was writing something in his notebook
"Kagami-kun! Could you help me deliver this to Sadoto-Sensei in class A-** for me? "

I reacted negatively right away and an 'I don't want to go anywhere that dam* devil' was left unsaid
"Because I would be absent tomorrow and I want to inform him about it"
"Could you just phone him?"
"Phone?"
At the question, I was sweat dropping like crazy, who in the world in this time of age does not know what a phone is?!
"um… You know the telephone or a mobile phone? Iphone?"
"Ah! Those… I sorry but I don't have those so I could only ask you to deliver it for me. Could you, Kagami-kun?"
I sighed, even though he still had a emotionless face on but his... i don't know... aura maybe was so pitiful that I could not decline. In the end, I took the paper he had presented to me
"Yeah yeah but after that you better get a phone, okay?"
"Hai, Kagami-kun. Thank you very much!"
KAGAMI'S POV END
END FLASK BACK
After telling his tale, the bigger teen sits still and wait for whatever Akashi would throw at him.
"Well, that's all Taiga. You should change your cloth and get training."
With that the Captain just stands up and walks away, leaving a dumbfounded Taiga behind.
"What have just happened?"
Kagami thought out loud at the weirdness of all of this. With a shake of his head, he quickly starts to change his cloth
In the basketball court, a lone teen stands there with a frown on his handsome face
'Tetsuya, what are you doing? What are you thinking?'
Akashi thought as he's fuming inside yet curious about the teal and pale being. The being infuriated him yet capture his interest so easily or more like without doing anything
'What have you done to me to make me keep thinking about you like this, Tetsuya?'
With a grin on his face, he says out loud
"I am going to enjoy breaking you piece by piece, Tetsuya!"
