Another day, another case, another evening at the bar. No one was injured or traumatised. They even all grabbed a meal together before they got here. The best kind of day.

Sam had to admit that Deeks had really made something of this bar. It was cosy, yet animated but not too busy. Just a good place to hang out. Which is why they did.

He let his gaze wander as he took another swig of his beer. Ah, Deeks had got the good stuff. There were a few regulars in the far corner, a few newbies who seemed to like the place, Roberta going back and forth making drinks and... what on earth was that doing there?"

Sam squinted at it, verifying that he hadn't been imagining things. Nope. It was definitely still there.

"What's with the nativity scene?" Sam asked, pointing behind the bar.

Kensi groaned as Deeks frowned and turned around.

"What nativity scene?"

Then he saw it. Oh.

Callen raised an eyebrow in question. "You didn't know you had a nativity scene in the bar?"

"No. No, I didn't," Deeks replied and looked over at Kensi. "Can I move it?"

"Please."

"How do you not know you have a nativity scene?" Sam asked in amusement.

"My mother." was all Kensi said to that which just piqued Sam's interest even more.

"Your mother?"

Julia? Kensi's sweet mother? She snuck a nativity scene into the bar? That didn't make any sense and Sam told Kensi so.

Kensi just groaned in response.

"She seems to think that we need a nativity scene everywhere to be properly decorated for Christmas."

"Why?"

Sam looked around him, Deeks had this place completely covered in Christmas lights. You could probably see it from the ISS. Definitely obvious that it was Christmas in here.
