Another quick short story for you all!

He felt the leather of his chair bite into the back of his scalp as he tipped his head back, his hooded eyes staring at the white of the ceiling as a shiver rolled down his spine. He wasn't sure how he found himself in this position; spending his evenings in his office at the Hyuga compound, papers and scrolls littering his desk that all required his careful consideration and the scratch of his signature.

Life had become monotonous. A repeating pattern that consisted of high-class missions, captaining his team, training genin at the academy and helping his family with clan issues. He mediated every night and woke with the sun every morning. His days ran like clockwork and he looked for something to break the chain, break the mundane tasks of adult life that made it feel like time was speeding past him.

He grunted, a low guttural sound that reverberated through his chest as he reached a hand down to beneath the desk, between his legs, running bandaged fingers through pale pink locks. His hand locked, gripping the back of her head as he groaned quietly again, his hips jumping off his chair slightly as she worked him.

He hadn't meant to find her, hadn't meant for her to fall into his lap. It had been weeks of back and forth now, hidden kisses and swallowed moans in the dark shadows of Konoha. She didn't come to the compound often for fear of being seen, but they were so caught up in their feelings and emotions that she had come straight to see him from her latest mission. Her hair still wet from her hurried shower; her mission reports stuffed into the pouch strapped to her hip ready to hand over to the Hokage later.

His eyes fluttered closed, his breath starting to come out in short gasps as he gripped her head tighter. Gods, if she carried on like this he was going to-

A sharp knock on his door, "Neji? Are you in there?"

He jumped, his knee slamming into the bottom of his desk as he pulled his chair forwards in one fluid movement. He watched with abject horror as the door slid open and his Uncle walked in.

"U-Uncle! Are you well?"

The older man smiled, "Hai. You work for too long nowadays, son,"

He carefully made sure his whole lower body was tightly pulled into the desk, "Yes, well. Paperwork doesn't do itself unfortunately," He tapped his foot impatiently.

"I've told you, you need to get an assistant," Hiashi chuckled, "Someone to help you with this so you can spend time with family, with friends,"

He felt his shoulders soften, knew his Uncle's concern came from a place of care but he really needed to try and bring the conversation to a swift end, "Hai. Do you need something?"

"Dinner is almost ready. Are you dining with us this evening?"

He nodded, "Give me a few minutes and I'll join you. I just need to tidy up here," He made a show of gathering up his papers and placing them back in order.

His Uncle nodded, turning back to leave and Neji breathed a sigh of relief as he disappeared behind the sliding door. As soon as the door clicked back into place he shifted his chair back, leaning beneath the table to retrieve his lover.

"Are you alright?" He hushed quietly, pulling her into his lap, "I'm sorry, my Uncle hardly stops by here unexpected like that,"

She grinned, "I just feel bad I couldn't finish what I started," She murmured, running a finger down his neck to part the lapels of his shirt.

He leant forwards, nestling his face into her neck as he gripped the back of her pink locks with bandaged fingers, brushing his lips over the sensitive skin of her pulse. She gasped in response, moving to straddle him in his chair as she arched into his touch.

"You're going to be the death of me some day, Sakura" He grinned, his teeth running over her skin as she moved back to press his lips into hers.

"I have to go," He grumbled against her lips, "I'm expected at dinner. But I'll come see you later," He kissed her again, "Finish what we started,"

She groaned, "Please, Neji," She sighed, moving her hands to slide down between them as she gripped him in her hand, raising her hips to push her underwear aside beneath her summer dress she'd thrown on before slowly lowering herself onto him, "I need you now,"

He felt his eyes roll into the back of his head as he groaned deeply, gripping her hips tightly, "God's, woman … " He growled, starting to rock against her gently as she moved above him. She grinned in response, her green eye's shining with a brazen confidence that made him pull her closer so he could smother her with kisses.

Fuck it. Dinner could wait.

He hurriedly smoothed down the last of his stray hairs as he stepped into the dining room, falling into bow from the waist as he addressed the room.

"Gomen for keeping you waiting,"

"Eh, Neji-nii!" Hanabi whined, "I'm practically starving! Father made us wait-"

"Don't be so dramatic Hanabi," Hiashi hushed.

"Join us, cousin," Hinata smiled, patting the seat next to her.

He obliged, seating himself with his knee's carefully folded as servers began filling the table with an assortment of foods; roasted salmon with lemon wedges, piles of fragrant rice and skewers of pork belly with grilled vegetables graced his plate. He watched bemused as his Uncle fussed over Hanabi's lack of manners, watching her pour them glasses of sake as she rolled her eyes and argued back.

A polite cough to his right had him turning his gaze towards Hinata as he picked up his plate and started to dig into the food with his chopsticks.

"Neji-nii… " Hinata cast her gaze down, being careful not to draw anyone else's attention as Neji followed her gaze and promptly choked on his food.

She patted his back sympathetically as his quick fingers removed the small hospital pin that was snagged into his trousers. He slipped it quietly into the pocket of his trousers, keeping his head down as he battled to fight the blush forming across his cheeks.

Had she seen the initials stamped into it?

"C-cousin…" He started, unsure of what to say.

Hinata gave him a knowing smile, moving to cover the slip of her lips with her cup of sake, "What you do with your spare time is private, Neji-nii" She murmured softly.

He stiffened as she spoke again, "She is a fine match for you, cousin. Perhaps she can tempt your wild side,"

Those pearly eyes spoke volumes and he shuddered, knowing how much power she held with just knowledge alone.

That dam fox was rubbing off on her.

She was bathed in moonlight, her half naked form tangled in sheets as she dozed in the late evening quiet. Her window was wide open to not only let in the cool spring breeze, but to allow him easy access as well.

He watched her a moment more, his dark form a mere shadow against the opposite building, before his patience ran thin and in a blur of movement, he was beside her, the curtains falling shut behind him with one flick of his wrist.

She smiled coyly, her emerald orbs shining in the dark as she reached her hands out to him.

"Come, my love," She whispered huskily, "Come join me."

A temptress wrapped in silk.

Perhaps she can tempt your wild side.

Truer words had never been spoken.
