answers to reviewers questions or statements:

Broken Requiem: Don't worry, the next chapter will be up by 2027.

Zeckromizder: A altercation between a few of the women will happen at some point...

Iron Lad: Ight.

Rougarou144: Perhaps, perhaps.

darthwolf: I have no idea who that even is so I'm not sure if he'd try to.

Placated Uzumaki: Who says it has to be in another story where that happens?

keyblade master cole: She might, she might not.

Spider999: This is a harem story though Elektra will be a bit annoyed that there's so many women trying to get her little corruptible spider. I think I recognize Darkstalker, but the rest I have no idea what those are.

combobreaker: Considering some of the women he's attracted, it's very possible.

Isaac LB: Possibly.

CRUDEN: Oh yeah.

DireWolf96: Not MJ but Felicia yes.

WriterSpenser: If you count the time she was possessed by Ogun than yeah, maybe. She'll show up, but she wont be a part of the harem.

B4TM4N-WH0-L4U6H5: I wouldn't be against it, plus she is one of the top tier fighters and assassins in the Marvel universe.

FAnFicFanatic: We will not speak of that moment...

gontheone: Honestly I just write it and hope for the best. That's what's so funny about this whole thing, other women are interested in Peter but his wife is Elektra, that's a sitcom gold mine if I ever seen one. Yes Stark and Felicia and a few other Avengers are aware of Peter's identity.

blasterdog: Yep.

lord web of life of destiny: Don't like Gwen or Spider Gwen so no.

LL: New York is about to be the epicenter of Hell unleashed. No quarter given, no mercy!

Deadpool517: With Peter it would've ended up with sex at some point and some big world ending threat probably while with literally anyone else it would've been just a nice relaxing retreat.

gunman: Maybe.

DragonReader18: Part of it has to do with the fact that as much as Peter knows Elektra, which wasn't much beforehand, he knows that she's not really one for jokes. And this kind of joke should've ended after they first woke up back in Vegas. The fact she's still around more or less hits him that he messed up and she's being disturbingly serious in a playful manner. Plus he found their marriage certificate in their room before he left so yay.

Disclaimer: I don't own any Marvel character seen, mentioned or used.

If Peter had to pick which Avengers base was better, the Tower or the Mansion, Peter would have to pick the tower.

Part of the reason was because that when he first joined the Avengers, it was where the team was based out of and thus he spent more time there than the mansion. Another reason was that it was a bit more secured, Peter didn't have to worry about walking by a window in the tower on one of the thousand foot plus tall building's upper floors and risk someone glancing up and happen to see his face exposed. It was also more private than the mansion for some reason, not many members of the Avengers liked to be at the tower compared to the mansion.

And that suited Peter just fine.

"Ahhh this is the life..." Peter sighed in content as he laid in a web hammock he created, hanging in the middle of a large living room, basking in the golden light of the sun shining through the tower's windows. He was still dressed in his Spider suit sans the mask and had the coloration switch to a dark hue of colors to better absorb the heat from the sunlight outside "No bad guys, no homicidal wife, no having to hear Jameson's voice... I could stay here forever!"

Peter was solely tempted to do just that, but knowing his luck, he'll come back one night and find that Elektra had broken into the tower, probably killed someone, and set up her things in his room. Than he'd have to explain to everyone why it was that Elektra was there and why she was claiming to be his wife-

"'Homicidal wife'?"

Peter's eyes shot open and he sat up in his hammock and quickly looked around for the origin of the voice before seeing the infamous Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff, sitting on one of the couches with a amused look on her face. Unlike Peter, she was dressed in more casual clothes, or as casual as a pair of spandex shorts and training bra could be. Her iconic red hair hair was done up in a messy bun and her face was a little red and sweaty, likely from some sort of intensive workout. Likely the kind of stuff that helps her snap people's necks and pull off some sort of headshot when she's half blinded and dead.

"Natasha?" Peter blinked at the red headed beauty.

"Were you expecting another red head?" she asked with a hint of sarcasm in her tone.

"Actually yes" Peter said with a scowl of annoyance "Several in fact, some of which you might know. There's Mary Jane, Jean, Firestar, oh and Tigra and-"

"What did you mean by 'homicidal wife'?" Natasha cut Peter off with a pointed look as she folded her arms across her chest and leaned back in her seat.

"Huh?" Peter feigned ignorance on the outside while on the inside he was panicking slightly 'Crap, how long has she been listening to me? The hell did I say? Crap, crap, crap, crap-'

"Are you... are you actually married now?" Natasha said with a disturbed look on her face.

"No!" Peter all but yelled, causing the red head to raise a single brow at his outburst. He cleared his throat and adverted his gaze from the woman and instead focused on the city skyline outside "I mean, no, just uh, just rambling is all. Hehehehe... yeah. Just saying the first thing that coms to mind, you know me- hehehehe"

Even Peter wasn't convinced by what he said, and he was usually pretty confident he was a convincing kind of guy. After all, he's been able to convince most people that he and Spider-man are not one in the same in the past when someone came close to figuring out his secret identity.

"I'm sure" Natasha said with a voice that confirmed she didn't believe Peter for an instant, not that he'd expect her to. With a sigh she stood up from the couch and turned to leave before stopping and shooting Peter a look from over her shoulder "By the way, if you need a plus one for a wedding in the future, I recommend finding a new partner to bring with you. She left you far too stressed at the last one"

"Yeah..." Peter said with a absent minded wave as he stared out at the distant skyscrapers of New York as the red head left the room. A few moments had passed before her words clicked "Wait, what? WHAT!?"

Just as Peter had jumped out of his cozy little web hammock to chase down Natasha and demand answers from her, and likely ensure her silence on the matter, an alarm went off. Peter groaned as he recognized it as one of the 'Avengers Assemble to save the world' alarms and quickly rushed towards the tower's briefing slash conference room. By the time he reached the room, what Avengers were present in the tower were already assembled, leaving him the last one to arrive. Even Natasha was there, fully dressed and ready to go despite the fact she was far from that not even a few minutes ago.

'The hell she change so fast?' Peter thought in bewilderment for a moment before he saw that everyone was staring at him stare at Natasha. He gave them all a sheepish grin as he slid his mask on and had his suit switch back to it's normal color pallet before taking his seat at the table 'Oh that wasn't awkward at all'

"Now that everyone is here..." Steve Rogers said as he scanned the seven people before him "Let's get started. We've just received word of a coordinated attack two hours ago on several research facilities dedicated to the studying and reverse engineering of some of the technology scavenged by the U.S. Government from the Skrull invasion"

"Whose trying to take it Cap?" Hawkeye asked as he fiddled with one of his arrows "HYDRA? the Skrulls? Ultron?"

"From what I saw from the surveillance footage, it's AIM" the star spangled banner hero revealed.

"AIM?" Hawkeye said with a frown "That's random"

"A group of criminals that are heavily based around technology stealing advance alien technology? Yeah, that is random" Peter said with an eye roll.

"Fuck you" Hawkeye flipped Peter off, causing the wall crawler to stick his tongue out at the man, even if he couldn't see it.

"Lock it down both of you" Steve snapped at the two heroes while She-Hulk, who Steve hadn't realized was even at the tower, raised her hand.

"Uh Cap?" she asked with a bit of confusion in her tone.

"Yes Miss Walters?" Steve turned his attention towards the jade beauty.

"Are we gonna be calling in any more help or is it just gonna be us?" the gamma irradiated lawyer asked as she glanced at the members of her 'team.

It had to be without a doubt, the most random selection of Avengers ever assembled in the team's history. There was herself, Captain America, Spider-man, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Quicksilver, the Human Torch, who she didn't even realize was a Avenger and Wonder Man.

"What's wrong with our lineup?" The Human Torch aka Johnny Storm asked with a frown before he scoffed "I think we're fire!"

"Since when the hell are you a member of the Avengers?" Hawkeye said with a frown.

"I'm a reserve member. Not as awesome as being a full time member but I think it's for the best. Don't want y'all getting upstaged by yours truly after all!" Johnny said with a hint of smugness in his tone before giving Peter a thumbs up "Thanks for the hook up by the way webs!"

"Anytime" Peter said with a wave.

"Wait, since when the hell can Spider-man nominate people for the Avengers?!" Hawkeye said with disbelief.

"Since I singlehandedly saved the world for like the third time on my own" Peter said with an unseen eye roll.

Hawkeye scowled at the wall crawler before Steve loudly cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention back to him "If your all finished?"

Once everyone muttered a 'yes' or nodded, Steve drew their attention to a map of the Caribbean, the Cayman islands to be specific.

"YES! Quicksilver suddenly jumped up with a excited shout, causing everyone to glance at him with surprise "They went somewhere nice for a change!"

"The Caribbean?" Johnny said as he eyed the map with a scrutinizing gaze before smirking "I fucks with it"

"Since when does AIM have a base in the Cayman Islands?" Peter asked with frown "Isn't a tropical beach the last place to find a bunch of homicidal geeks that dress like beekeepers?"

"Them's some strong words coming from a geek that dresses in a glorified onesie" Johnny snickered at Peter.

"First of all it's a uniform so fuck you, second of all, I'm a nerd, not a geek!" Peter jabbed a finger at the Human Torch "And third of all, I hope you get hit with a coconut in the coconuts!"

"This is gonna be a thing, isn't it?" Steve muttered towards the Black Widow who smirked slightly in response.

"I warned you that bringing him on to the team will cause an increase in our resident chatter box's prattle" she whispered.

"That you did... now I'm starting to see why Reed and sue didn't really object to taking on Johnny for a while" Steve said with a sigh as he began to explain to the rest of the team their plan of attack while Spider-man and the Human Torch delved into one of their common bouts of barbs and insults.

He'd fill them in on the flight, and even than, the two had a knack for pulling something out of their asses when their tossed into the deep end backed by years of a close friendship and even partnership that predated either man's time in the Avengers several times over.

Still, Steve made a mental note to limit their presence on the same team whenever possible.

Ten minutes later, the longest in some's opinion, Steve dismissed the team so they could prepare for the flight to the Caribbean. AIM's current base of operations laid under the abandoned estate of Aldrich Killian and based on satellite imagery, the entire area was as fortified as a castle. Several dozen heat signatures on the surface alone promised a grueling confrontation and they could only imagine what sort of countermeasures and traps AIM had in store for the team once they actually breeched their base.

'Well we have Jen and Wonder Man as the team's muscle. Johnny's annoying self can be useful, and Quicksilver's fast. Like really fast. So fast he makes fast people look slow kind of fast. And Cap, Hawkeye and Natasha can... well they can do their thingy. Than there's me, the most handsome and devilishly charming guy to save the day when it all goes to hell' Peter thought the last part with a smirk before he heard someone call for him.

He turned to see that it was She-Hulk, Jen

"Hey Jen, something the matter?" Peter asked with a quizzical expression under his mask.

"We need to talk" Jen said once she came to a stop a few feet from Peter and shot a quick look around to make sure they were alone "It's about your... situation. There's a few things we need to go over before we move any farther"

A sense of dread filled Peter at this "Uh... what is it?"

"Part of it is financial information but most of it has to do with the fact that your technically harboring a wanted fugitive" Jen said as she folded her arms across her chest "Once word of this marriage of yours gets out, and we both know it will, you can possibly be charged as potentially both Peter Parker and Spider-man"

"Oh great" Peter said with a grown as he held his head in his hands.

"Look just come by my office after we're done with this mission and we'll talk more" Jen said as she reached over and patted Peter on the shoulder and gave him a comforting smile "I'll even get you some pizza to eat while we go over the finer details"

"Pizza would be nice" Peter admitted with a small nod before he scowled "Especially since my significant other ate the last of mine"

"That bitch!" Jen scoffed.

"Exactly" Peter said with a nod "Seriously, who eats a man's last slice of pizza?!"

"A heartless monster it seems" Jen chuckled before she turned to leave "Well I need to get ready. It's not everyday that I get a first class flight to the Caribbean"

"You gonna pack a swimsuit in there?" Peter asked in a joking matter before he saw the slightly surprised look on Jen's face before it changed into something more... sultry.

"I might" Jen said with a wink "Easy big boy, wait until the divorce is finalized before going back out on the prowl"

"Ummm..." Peter sounded as he watched She-Hulk sashay away.

Well this was starting to get... unexpected.

...

"Off to save the world my dearly beloved?"

Peter will never admit it outright, but it was almost nice to have someone to come home to, even if it was just for him to pick up some extra web fluid and a few new gadgets for his mission with the Avengers. Back when Peter and Mary Jane still dated, there were times that just hearing the red head's voice filled Peter with a sense of sheer fucking willpower and focus that got him through some of his most harrowing moments as Spider-man. But that image and the feelings associated with it were promptly burnt by Elektra's inclusion into it, particularly in the sarcastic way she addressed him when he returned from Avengers Tower to pick up a prototype he was hoping to test out in the field.

Still, he'd be ling if he said he didn't enjoy the sight of seeing Elektra clad in a blood red nightgown with her long lean legs on full display.

"Not the world, but it could turn into that" Peter said as he watched his 'wife' sharpen one of her Sai's with a wet stone.

"Oh, and who will you and your friends be facing today?" Elektra said as she continued to run the wet stone across her Sai's edge, creating a sound that caused Peter to wanna bite his nails "Doom? HYDRA? Or perhaps it'll be the X-men again? If so, do give X-23 a kick to the teeth for me, she almost gutted me a few months ago and ruined a beautiful pair of shoes of mine because of it"

"It's AIM" Peter said with a hint of dread in his tone.

Elektra paused in sharpening her signature weapon for a moment before humming "Oh... well have fun I guess"

"Fun?" Peter said with a blink "Uhhh, I don't know if you just heard me, but I said it's AIM! You know, the super terrorist group that uses advance technology to wreak havoc on the planet? They've attacked several research facilities containing Skrull tech and are probably gonna use it to take over the world or something!"

"Peter, it's AIM" the assassin said as she turned towards Peter with a blank expression on her face "I've wiped entire cells of them out with my bare hands because I could. Their just a step below HYDRA in how pathetic they are. My reputation actually takes a dive whenever their name crops up on one of my assignments. You and your team will be fine"

"You know there's still a chance that I can end up dead" Peter said with a frown aimed at the woman "All it'll take is-"

"-one lucky punk with a gun while your distracted to end you" Elektra finished Peter's sentence with a tired sigh "Yes, yes, Matthew said as much when we dated. Honestly, a part of me wonders if you two actually want that to happen"

"Well... well no, but it's still something you should be prepared for" Peter said as he switched his weight from foot to foot "Just because I came back the last eight times doesn't mean I'll come back this time"

"Peter if that happens than I'll avenge your death and use what little standing I have left with the Hand to resurrect you" Elektra said with a eye roll as she finished sharpening her Said and gently set the blade down on a piece of cloth before standing up and stretching her arms over her head.

It was than that Peter realized that Elektra had left the front of her nightgown untied, allowing him to view her partially exposed breasts. He wanted to turn away, to deny her the satisfaction, but watching the way she moved, the way the red complimented her figure...

'I really do have a thing for toxic women, thanks Natasha' Peter thought a little ruefully before he took a deep breath and steadied himself for what he was about to ask "And uh, Elektra?"

"Yes?" the lethal beauty said as she turned to Peter and folded her arms across her chest, pushing the fabric of her gown back a little to expose more of her torso.

"Could you... would you be... well, are you available to possibly look after the city while I'm away?" Peter asked with obvious hesitance.

Elektra quirked a brow at this "I beg your pardon?"

"Would you... be willing to watch after New York while I'm away" Peter said with a cough.

Elektra stared at Peter for what felt like hours, her gaze completely unreadable to the wall crawler as she pondered his request. Finally she broke the tense silence with a question of her own "Why me?"

"Well it's mostly because you'll be the only he-... morally descent person in the city while me and the Avengers are away" Peter revealed.

"Avengers and I" Elektra corrected Peter's grammar, much to said man's annoyance, before continuing "What about Matthew? Or those other heroes you interact with. The man with near impervious skin and Iron Fist?"

"Cage and Rand are down in Atlantic City trying to bust some sort of underground fighting ring that's distributing drugs with kids from Cage's old neighborhood. And good old Double Dee is... he's got issues to deal with last I checked" Peter revealed as he reached up and ran a hand over his masked face "Look I know I'm asking a lot here, especially with how I've been acting to you, but I'd really appreciate it if you could-"

"Peter..." Elektra said as she approached Peter and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder "Relax, your city will still be standing when you return. The people you care about will all still be alive and well. You have my word on that..."

Peter looked at the woman with a bit of surprise before giving her a grateful smile "T-Thanks Elektra, and I'm really sorry for just dropping this on you but-"

"And the local criminal population will be as close to zero as I can reasonably manage within the timeframe of your absence" Elektra said with a dark look on her face that caused Peter's blood to freeze "Starting with Fisk and his entire enterprise. I've been meaning to deal with him for some time now"

"Annnnd now I'm terrified" Peter said with slumped shoulders.

If Elektra threatening to go on some sort of purge by starting with one of his top baddies was supposed to make Peter feel better while he was away, it did the exact opposite.

...

"Your cutting it a little close Spider-man" Steve Rogers said to the punctually challenged hero "We're set to leave in thirty seconds"

honestly Peter thought he missed the deadline to report to the Quinn Jet the Avengers were going to be using to fly to the Cayman Islands until he swung in close to the tower and saw that the jet was still on the launch pad. He wasn't sure exactly who was flying it but Peter had a feeling it may have been a certain red headed Russian spy and her partner in crime, Hawkeye. Jen was already on the jet and leaning back against her seat, eyes closed and a pair of headphones on, her head nodding silently in tandem with whatever song she was listening to. Johnny gave Peter a wink and a peace sign as he leaned back in his seat and continued to read some celebrity magazine with his image printed on the front while Wonder Man sat across from him looking... well he seemed to be a bit uncomfortable for whatever reason.

"Sorry Cap" Peter said with a wince as he followed the man on to the jet as it's engines switched on "I had something personal to deal with before we left. Just in case things on this mission didn't go well for... well me I guess"

The World War Two veteran stared at Peter with one of his infamous deep soul searching looks that seemed to allow the man to somehow gain some sort of weird clarity and understanding with his subordinates before nodding slightly.

"I understand" Steve said as the ramp began to lift behind the two along with the jet "Just try to give me a head ups next time. We're save you the trip and pick you up on the way rather than wait"

"Got it Cap" Peter said with a nod as he watched Steve make his way up to the Quinn Jet's cockpit and take a seat behind the pilot chairs, both occupied by Widow and Hawkeye.

"Got it Cap" Johnny said in a whiney, mocking voice "Oooh Captain America, I'll do anything for you"

"Blow me" Peter batted at Johnny's hair.

"I would but it looks like you already got someone for that" Johnny said with a knowing smirk.

"Not a fucking word to anyone here!" Peter whispered harshly at the man before he noticed that their team was one person short "Hey, where's Si-"

"Cap sent him ahead to scout out the estate" Johnny said as he patted the seat next to him "He left about an hour or so ago"

'Well hopefully he can stay out of trouble for the next few" Peter said with a grin as he took his seat next to the Fantastic Four member "Hate to have to tell Wanda her brother got axed by AIM"

"Suck if he did" Johnny said with a nod as he flipped a page in his magazine "His rep would never recover if word got out that it was AIM of all people that did him in. Pretty sure Magneto would disown him... well, disown him even more"

"What the hell is it with people dissing on AIM?" Peter asked with a incredulous expression "First E-... you know who, now you!"

"AIM sucks bro" Johnny said with a casual shrug "They stopped being scary and threatening after like the sixth iPhone came out"

"Oh so everyone but me doesn't take them seriously?" Peter said with a annoyed look on his face.

"Pretty much" Johnny answered as he flipped the page to a full bikini spread with an all to familiar red head. The pyrokinetic stared at the image for a moment before he showed it to Peter "Hey didn't you use to bang this chick?"

"Her name's Mary Jane and yes I used to be in a 'RELATIONSHIP' with her" Peter told the man "How'd you forget? You met her like, eight times when she and I dated!"

"Your implying that I care more about your sad love life than I do mine" Johnny said with confusion before he snapped his fingers "Wait can't say that anymore since it seems yours is starting to really take off-"

"I will have them pay you a visit if you finish that sentence" Peter threated, causing Johnny to seemingly deflate and grumble as he went back to reading his magazine.

"Jerk"

"Brat"

"Nerd"

"Wannabe popular kid!"

"You take that back you son of a bitch!" Johnny said as he snapped his magazine close and glared at Peter, small wisps of flames dancing around his body "Or else!"

"Or what, your gonna cry and ruin your makeup?" Peter snarked as he subtly aimed his web shooter in the direction of Johnny's face, ready to blind him with a full coat of webbing.

"STORM!"

Both men went rigid at the sound of the Black Widow's commanding tone speaking up from the jet's cockpit. The two heroes turned to see the red head standing up from the seat and making her way back into the jet's main passenger hold and gave the blond hero a cool, detached expression.

"Y-Yes ma'am?" Johnny gulped in slight fear.

"Pilot seat, Hawkeye's gonna give you a rundown of how to operate the Jet" Natasha informed the slightly surprised man "I'm told your descent at flying some of the FF's craft and I want to see how you manage with an Avengers one"

"Oh..." Johnny blinked as he and Peter shared a look before he nodded and got up "Uh, I mean on it"

Peter did his best to try and focus his attention on anything but the red head before him as Johnny made his way up to the Jet's cockpit and took his seat at the pilot's chair. Once she was certain that Hawkeye was beginning to actually instruct the Human Torch, Natasha took her seat next to Peter and tapped him on the shoulder, causing him to to finally turn and meet her gaze.

"What?" he asked.

"How've you been?" Natasha asked with that small knowing smirk that sometimes drove Peter crazy. It meant she knew the answer to her own question but she wanted to hear it validated.

"Oh I've been living the dream Romanoff" Peter said sarcastically.

"Seems more like a never ending nightmare for you" the lethal woman teased as she reached up to adjust her suit's zipper a little, pulling it down slightly to better accommodate her gifted chest size.

"Oh no, a nightmare would be preferable to this" Peter said with a grumble "At least I can wake up from it. This? This ain't something I can wake up from anytime soon!"

"I think your exaggerating" Natasha said with a shake of her head and a small amused grin "She can't be that bad"

"She's killed hundreds and almost me on a few occasions when she worked for one of my top baddies and even brought down a goddamn flying warship" Peter remarked sullenly "And now she's got a first class ticket into my life"

"Least your aunt approves of her" Natasha said with a thoughtful look on her face "Much more than some of the previous women you've been with that she's met"

"And how the hell do you know this?" Peter asked with a frown "Also, how'd you know she was with me at my Aunt's wedding?"

"I was there" Natasha said with a knowing grin "I was three rows behind you"

"Why the hell were you at my Aunt's wedding in the first place?!" Peter asked with confusion.

"I was there as a favor" Natasha said with a slight shrug as she adverted her gaze from Peter's and instead focused on something on the wall beside She-Hulk "For you. Wanted to make sure all went well for your Aunt. After outing up with you after all this time, it's the least I could do"

"Thanks" Peter said dryly as he racked a fist against his chest "That really hit me where I lived"

"You do seem to have a odd fixation for women that tend to make that area a sought after target" Natasha said with a chuckle as she turned her gaze back to Peter "And she even has an exotic accent to compliment her"

"Thanks to you, Miss Rushman" Peter said with a pointed look.

"Your welcome... but make no mistake Peter, you and I are gonna talk about your choice in partners after this mission" Natasha said with a cool gaze that left Peter feeling like he was a child about to be scolded for his choice in friends by his mo-

'Ohhhhhhh fuck, do not need to revisit those memories' Peter thought as he fought down the images of his and Natasha's long ended relationship.

Natasha Romanoff had already given him an unhealthy unattraction to toxic women that liked to dress in tight clothing and were morally ambiguous at best, last thing he needed was for her to unintentionally rekindle that damned mommy complex she got him on when she was 'Nancy Rushman'. To this day he still can't hear someone jokingly refer to Natasha as 'Momma Spider' and not get a little... aroused.

"Can't wait... no really, I'm practically jumping with excitement" Peter said with a dejected sigh as he slumped forward in his seat to cradle his head while Natasha nodded in satisfaction.

"And you'll tell Murdock as well" she added before getting up to retake her seat in the Jet's cockpit.

Even though the red head's back was to him and there was no reflective surfaces for her to see him flipping her off, Peter was certain she knew he did.

...

And done.

Next chapter, Spider-man finds fighting AIM while listening to passive aggressive comments from Black Widow to be... stressful.
