Chapter 7: Now She knows...

Later that day, Asriel could not shake the feeling of people that are after his brother. He then keeps remembering the words of his girlfriend saying "Try not to worry about your brother..."

"Azzy. Is there something bothering you?" asked Seth as he looked at his elder brother with concern.

"It's nothing. Why do you ask?" asked Asriel as he turned to his brother

"After what happened at the dojo, you started acting weird." said Seth as he gets closer to Asriel

"I'm fine." said Asriel as he got up from the chair and rubbed Seth's head.

Seth just continued to stare at his brother with the look of concern. Asriel looked at Seth, seeing the look that Seth gave, He rolled his eyes and took a knee next to Seth and said…

"Seth. I know you are concerned, but, I'm fine." said Asriel trying to reassure his little brother, but Seth just kept giving the same look. Asriel tried looking away but he'd always look back to the face of his younger brother.

"OH ALRIGHT!" said Asriel as he lost the round of indorense to his younger brother

"So what's wrong?" asked Seth for the second time

"I…I think someone is after you." said Asriel as he looked Seth in the eyes

"Who exactly?" Asked Seth as he tilted his head to the right

"THAT is what I'm trying to find out." said Asriel as he stood up straight.

Just as Asriel finished his sentence, Frisk walked into the room and gave Asriel a look. Asriel got up and walked towards her and asked…

"What?"

"Well-"

"Where's the little man at?" said a tomboy-ish female voice as they shoved Frisk out of the way.

"Chara!" said Seth as he ran towards his elder sister and hugged her.

Chara was basically the same height as Asriel, sporting a white tee shirt with a green sweat jacket over it, brown shorts with black stockings underneath and some regular sneakers. Seth then asked Chara after hugging her…

"So how's development on the new game you are working on?"

"Going well. Just trying to find testers that won't pass out while playing it." answered Chara

"Pass out? What type of genre is this game again?" asked Asriel for clarification on the game

"A horror game." answered Chara as she looked at Asriel

"A horror game?" questioned Frisk as she rebalanced herself after being shoved out of the way.

"Yes, a horror game." repeated Chara

"How scary is it?" asked Seth as he tilted his head.

"Really. Scary." answered Chara as she got on her knee and look Seth in the eye

"Really really scary?" continued Seth

"Yes. Really really scary."

"Wow. It must be so scary!" said Seth as he stepped back a bit.

"Seth, You have no idea." said Chara as she rubbed Seth's head.

Seth stepped back even further and accidentally bumped into Asriel. Asriel looked down for a moment and then looked back at Chara and said…

"I didn't expect you to be home this early." said Asriel

"Yeah well I… really didn't have any work left for today. So…" said Chara as she got up and began to tap her sides.

"Is that so?" questioned Frisk as she put a hand on her hip.

"Yes." said Chara as she drew a cold sweat.

Frisk then squinted her eyes in suspicion after the reply. Chara began to look around the room with tension and just as Frisk was walking up to her and was about to give her another look, Toriel called for dinner.

"Children! Time for dinner." said Toriel as to got her children's attention

As Toriel called for dinner, Seth got excited and ran to the dinner table. Asriel, Frisk, and Chara just stood in the same place for the next few seconds until Asriel broke the silence and said…

"Alright. I think we'll settle this dispute later. Dinner's ready." said Asriel as he walked out of the room.

Chara and Frisk continued to stare at each other after Asriel left the room. Chara then said with frustration…

"What the fuck do you want?!" asked Chara as she became frustrated

"Did you hear what happened?" asked Frisk as she continued to squint at Chara

"What happened? I just got home." asked Chara as she backed up on to the bed.

"Someone, or something, ransacked Seth's dojo." said Frisk as she widened her eyes

"WHAT?!" said Chara as she got up with anger and her eyes began to glow red.

"We are unsure as to who would have done it. But, we have a lead on what the person looks like." said Frisk as she turned her back.

"Where..." said Chara very quietly

"What?"

"TELL ME WHERE?! WHERE IS THAT NO GOOD BASTARD OF A MAN?!" yelled Chara as she grabbed Frisk's shirt.

"That's what we're trying to find out." said Frisk as she looked at Chara with her eyes widen with the sight of the anger.

Chara lets go of Frisk's shirt after hearing this. She then walked out of the room in a huff of anger. Frisk just straightened her shirt and followed Chara to the dinner table. Later that night, Asriel just laid in bed staring at the ceiling. He couldn't sleep. Just the thought of his brother just unraveled him on the inside. Just then, He heard a knock at the door. He got up and answered the door... only to be greeted by Chara.

"What did you see?" asked Chara as she shoved her head through the door.

"P-pardon?"

"What did you see at the dojo?" asked Chara as She made her way into Asriel's bedroom.

"Ugh… Did Frisk tell you?" asked Asriel as he rubbed his eyes

"Yes. And She told me that something happened." said Chara as She turned to look at Asriel

"How much did She tell you?" asked Asriel as He folded his arms

"All She told me is that something happened at Seth's dojo." answered Chara as She rubbed Her chin.

"Oh for the love of… Damn it Frisk…" said Asriel to himself as He faced palmed His forehead.

"Well…" said Chara waiting for an answer

"Fine. I'll tell you…" said Asriel

Time passes as Asriel tells Chara about what happened at the dojo. Chara, after hearing this, begins to rubber Her chin and says…

"Well, that answers a few question and brings up some new ones."

"And now you know." said Asriel as he gets up from his seat.

"But… but why is he after him and why does he show up now?" asked Chara as she begins to scratch her head.

"That's what I'm trying to find out." said Asriel as he folded his arms

"I'm really gettin' sick of hearin' 'That's what I'm trying to find out.' from you and Frisk." said Chara as she got up from her seat.

Chara walks out of Asriel's room and peeks into Seth's room to see that he is still asleep. She closes the door to Seth's bedroom and walks back to Asriel's room.

"What are we going to do?" asked Chara as she begins to worry

Asriel walked closer to Chara and put his hand on her shoulder. Chara looked Asriel dead in the eye. Asriel just pulled Chara in for a hug and said…

"We'll think of something…" said Asriel as he held Chara close to him.

"I hope so…" said Chara as she hugged Asriel tightly
