Bella's Pov

It was very nice to hang out with everyone. It's been a while since we all hung out. It's mainly just been me and Ethan. But, now we all did and Ethan got to know Benny even more. But, there's just been something that's bothering me. That guy, Rory. I feel like he knows something or I feel like maybe he's a part of something. I don't know why I feel like that. Maybe it's just an instinct. I still don't know. Maybe I shouldn't let this bother me so much. Although, Rory is kind of a jerk. Erica's convinced he has a good side. I really don't know. Am I being paranoid? Maybe.

"Erica, are you sure you like Rory?" She looks at me and nods.

"Yes! He's so cute!" I scoff. He's anything but cute.

"But, he was a jerk to you. He literally rejected you." She shrugs.

"Maybe he needs to see the real me. He said he was tired of all the hot girls." I look at her.

"You think you're not hot?" She looks at me and sighs.

"Look at me Bella. I'm a nerd. No one ever wants to go out with a nerd." I look at her.

"Hey. Never put yourself down like that. You're beautiful and you don't need anyone to tell you who or what you should be." She smiles at that and hugs me.

"Thanks Bella. You're a really good friend." I smile.

"Thanks. You are too." We stop hugging and then she stands up.

"You're completely right. I should just not think about boys for a while." We then heard a motorcycle engine and we knew who it was: Rory. He took off his helmet and walked over to us.

"Hey. Erica,right?" She nodded quickly.

"We haven't been properly introduced. I'm Rory. Rory Keaner." He has his hand out. She eagerly shakes it.

"H-hi. Wow. You're talking to me, and you're so awesome and cool." He puts his eyebrows up and looks at her.

"So, I was thinking, you and me, date tonight?" She nods again.

"Yes! Yes! Definitely!" She puts her number down and he grabs it. He smirks.

"Cool. See you tonight." He said. He then walked away. What just happened?

"I have a date with Rory Keaner! Ahhh!" She squeals. There's just something about Rory that I don't trust at all. I know it's his attitude, but I also feel like it's something else as well.

"Be careful. He seems like trouble. I want you to be safe." She nods.

"I definitely will." She squeals. But then she remembered that she was at school.

"Right. Still have school." She then turns around and goes back inside. I playfully roll my eyes and head back with her. We walk and then she goes to her locker. She gets out her books and she is still smiling.

"I've never seen you smile this much." She shrugs and closes her locker.

"Well, the hottest guy in school who is also the school's bad boy, asked me out! The nerd, who no one notices." I look at her.

"Erica. What did I say? No putting yourself down." She sighs and smiles.

"You're right. Sorry. You're such a good friend." I put my arm around her and she laughs.

"Never forget that Erica." She nods. Ethan and Benny come up to us.

"Hey guys. How's it going?"

"It's good. Erica has a date tonight." They both raise their eyebrows.

"Oohh. Got a date huh?" Erica nods and shakes her head a lot.

"With who?" Benny asks. He looked like he was genuinely curious, and not asking because he's jealous.

"Rory." As soon as she said that, they both stopped smiling.

"Rory Keaner? The school's bad boy?" She nods.

"Erica. He's a bad boy. He's broken many hearts of girls he dated, and didn't care." Erica scoffs.

"How do you know that?" Ethan crosses his arms.

"How don't you know that? It's all over school. He's broken hearts and has had no regrets about it." She looks confident.

"Well, it'll be different. I've seen movies where the nice girl changes the bad boy." Benny looks at her.

"Those are just movies Erica. I just want you to be careful around him." Erica nods. Benny is such a good friend to worry about her.

"I got it you guys. I'll be careful. Let's get to class." We all walk together. There's just something about Rory Keaner that gives me a bad feeling.

Ethan's Pov

I don't know why I feel this way, but I have a bad feeling about Rory. I know that Bella feels it too. She told me about it. Nothing against Erica, but he rejected her yesterday, so why is he suddenly asking her out today? Maybe I'm overthinking things. It's just, Erica is a very good friend of mine, and I would hate to see anything bad happen to her. But, I know that she will be okay. Right? We're all heading to class, when I accidentally bump into Rory.

"Hey watch it!" I saw him and I scoffed.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to. Maybe you should watch where you're going next time."

"Oh really?" I cross my arms and nod. He scoffs and looks at me.

"Tough guy huh? You got guts." I smirk.

"I don't have time for a dork. I've got a date tonight." He fixes his jacket and then leaves. I growl and then go to my locker. He hurts Erica in any way, I will hurt him. He's a damn jerk is what he is.

"Yeah. Bye." I then get my books and slam my locker door. I get angry.

"Fucking jerk" I mutter under my breath. I've gotten to know Erica, and she's a good person. I don't want to see her get hurt. Especially to this dick. I walk away and sigh. That feeling that Bella had, I have that too. There's something about Rory that I don't like. Okay. He's a jerk. But I mean a different reason. Something that feels familiar.

"I shouldn't care." I told myself. But I can't shake this feeling off. It's bugging the hell out of me. I know something is going on with Rory. He's a bad boy yes, but something else is going on. Like, it's how I feel when I'm around Bella. Not in a bad way, but familiar. But being around Bella, I feel comfort and safe. Rory doesn't have a scent, or an aura to him. It's like he found a way to block it or something. I see Bella and go up to her.

"Hey." She said. I pull her into a corner.

"I know you said you had that feeling around Rory. I do too. But it was much stronger today." She nods.

"Yeah. It feels so familiar. I can't find his scent. Everyone has a scent. But, not him." I do find that weird.

"You're right. But how? Everyone has a scent, so why doesn't he?" She looks at me and puts her hands up.

"Hey, you're asking the wrong person. I'm just as confused as you are." I sigh.

"Let's just get to class. We'll figure it out later."

-Time Skip-

As Bella and I are walking, we see Rory on the phone. We hide behind a locker and try to listen in.

"Yes. I'm taking her on a date tonight." He rolls his eyes.

"Yes, dad! I know to be home by 11. You tell me that all the time!" He rolls his eyes.

"Okay!" He hangs up angrily. He then walks away muttering to himself.

"Do you feel like that call was fake?" Bella asked. I nod.

"Yeah. But, I don't know. It's pretty convincing. Maybe we were wrong, and he's just a bad boy." She nods.

"Maybe you're right and we're looking way too deep into this." We both leave to go to class.

Rory's Pov

Yo. You don't know who I am. I'm Rory Keaner, the new guy in school. Or the 'bad boy' I guess if you want to call me that. I really don't care. But, I know who Ethan and Bella are. Or more specifically, what they are. I could smell them from a mile away. I run towards the woods and see the alpha there.

"Did they buy it?" I nod. I knew that they were suspicious of me and would try to see if i'm planning anything, so I pretended like I was talking to my dad. Truth is, my parents are dead. Both of them. Killed by hunters. Guess you can say Bella and I are the same.

"Yep. They truly believed that I was talking to my dad" I laugh. Losers.

"Good. You know the plan?" I nod. Why would I spoil the plan to you? Guess you'll just have to wait and see.

"Yes. But why exactly do I have to take the nerdy girl on a date instead of the hot girls?" He shakes his head and sighs.

"Because Bella is suspicious and would say no, and Sarah hates bad boys. Besides, the 'nerdy girl' liked you the moment she saw you." Really? She doesn't even know me. Probably a good thing.

"True. Wait, how do you know?" He looks at me.

"I'm your alpha. And I was watching you as well." Kinda creepy, but not surprising considering he does that all the time.

"Okay. If it helps with our plan, I'll do it." Alright, I guess I'll give you a little detail about the plan. Pretty much, we're trying to bring someone home. And other things as well. That's all I have to say.

"Good. Now, you know what you have to do. Go on that date, and see if she knows anything." I nod. I then run back home and look in the mirror. Erica Jones, you're about to go on a date with Rory Keaner.
