My life has been pretty normal and okay for the last 3 months. My grades are good, cheerleading is still great from my part, I still have great friends, my family is still amazing…

Yeah, nothing has changed.

Well… except for one thing.

The girls and I got a lot closer to Dan and his gang and you could say we are a part of his little group. We haven't actually said that out loud, but I guess we don't have to, because it's pretty obvious. I'm actually really happy to be friends with the guys – most of them are actually pretty sweet and aren't jerks.

Shun is such a gentleman… he is usually quiet, but when you get to talk to him it's really nice. He seems very intelligent as well. He seems such a nice match to Alice, but there are rumors that Shun is in a relationship with Fabia Sheen. Don't know if that's true.

Billy is more like Dan. He's quite an idiot, but he seems to really care about people he's around with. He seems to really like Julie and I get the feeling she likes his company too. She still claims to like Dan a lot, but I feel like she seems less and less interested in him.

Ace is such a great guy to talk to. Apart from Dan, I really like spending time with him. He's really funny and understandable. He, Dan and I have many classes together and I pretty much spend all of that time with them.

Dan is a sweet idiot. Sweet: because he knows what to say when I feel sad. Idiot; because he likes to annoy me. But I will say we share an amazing friendship and I don't plan to change that. If I had to rate the guys, Dan is on top for sure.

Since the girls and I started to hang out with them, Mira seems distant from them. I remember she was always around them, especially around Dan. Everyone knows she likes Dan and there are rumors that they went out a couple of times, but Dan wasn't interested of being in a relationship with her.

She definitely hates me.

I notices her angry glances a couple of times, but I'm not bothered about that. I also heard that she was talking shit about me the other day. She also made up a rumor that I apparently give bad blowjobs and that's why Hydron left me for someone prettier.

Maybe this year isn't that great.

"Ughh…" I mutter, totally frustrated as I sit down next to Dan in our history class. He notices my mood immediately.

He fully turns around. "What's wrong?"

"Some weirdo just asked me if I would give him head tonight, apparently so he could see for himself if I'm any good." I answer.

His eyes wide opens. "What? Why the fuck would he ask that? And why would he ask YOU?"

I raise my eyebrow. "Really?"

"What?" he confusedly replies.

"You haven't heard the rumor?"

"What rumor?"

"About how I give bad blowjobs and that's why Hydron left me for a WAY prettier girl." I tell him. He just has shook on his face. "You really didn't know?"

He shakes his head. "No. Who made this up? I bet it was that motherfucker…"

"No, it was your good ol' friend Mira."

"What? Why the fuck would she do that?" he asks. Oh Dan, you dumb boy.

"She likes you, duh." I state the obvious.

"I know that." What? He knows? I honestly thought he didn't. "Why would she do that to you?"

"Well… we do spend a lot of time together." I blush as I say this to him. I notice his cheeks turn a bit red too. "Maybe she's jealous?"

"I'll talk to her." He says.

"No, no, no, no, no" I quickly reply. The last thing I need is beef with someone. "With that, you'll cause nothing, but drama and that's the last thing I need."

"But with that you're letting her spread lies."

"Everyone eventually forgets it."

"I'm very disappointed with you, Misaki." He only says, shaking his head and looking away for a moment.

"Can I ask you something?" I've been dying to ask him that for so long. "What happened between you and Mira?"

He turns his head back to me. "Remember that party, when you got drunk and we became friends?" I just nod. "That's the same night Mira told me that she likes me."

"Before or after our encounter?"

"That happened before." He answers.

"What did you say?" I carefully ask.

"That I don't feel the same." He simply says, while looking at me. I don't know why, but every time he takes a long look at me, my heart beats really fast and I get a bit nervous. Usually I'm really relaxed around him, but there are those kinds of moments where I get really nervous around him. "She didn't take it very well." He continues as he moves his eyes from me to the board.

"Why is she trying to start beef with me then? I haven't done anything to her."

"Like you said before, we do spend a lot of our time together. I guess she thinks we are a thing or something." He replies, still looking straight at the board. He then turns back to me. "I can still talk to her…"

"I really don't know if that's a good idea…"

"C'mon, Runo. Don't let her win."

"I don't want drama in my life, Dan." I reply. "She's such a drama queen, if you haven't noticed."

"I don't want people to know false info about you."

"I'll probably go away in a week, don't worry…" It always does, right? I love that Dan is being such a nice friend to me, but if he says anything to the devil, there will be more chaos.

"Fine. whatever you say…" He says and turns his head back to the board.

He might be mad at me for not listening to him, but I know that talking to her is a really bad idea.

...

"Dan, you promised…" I half-yell at the mother-fucker.

It's the next day and I thought nothing can go wrong today but I was so wrong. Mister Daniel fucking Kuso can't keep his fucking mouth shut. He confronted the devil and that bitch kept sending me nasty dm's of how I'm a pussy that I sent Dan to confront her. I argued with her over an hour, but then I finally blocked her ass.

"No, I didn't promise anything…"

"I cannot believe you."

"C'mon Runo, don't be mad…"

"Leave me alone…" I say, walking away from him. I can't deal with him right now – yesterday I clearly said I don't want him involved in this mess, but once again he refused to listen. I get the nice gesture, I really do, but he needs to learn to mind his own fucking business.

I enter the cafeteria and quickly go to my friends' table. Right after I sit down, I hear my phone getting a text. I look it up and I see Dan's name appear.

I don't mean any harm, I'm sorry…
