Author's Note; Here is the next chapter.

Lily woke up from her delightful nap. She let out a carefree yawn.

"Oh, that was a goood one," she smiled brightly.

After she showered and got dressed, which consisted of a rainbow T-shirt and slightly baggy knee-length denim jeans, she went down the stairs, stood close to the living room, and noticed the quiet atmosphere in the house.

"Hello? Anyone home?" she shouted.

Blazey heard her and came running, licking all over her face. "Blazey!" then she tickled her, "Who's a good dragon?"

She spotted something on the kitchen counter and put the excitable green dragon down. "Hello, what's this?"

She saw it was a folded note with her name on it and flipped it open.

See you guys after work

Laurel xx

Then she saw another one that said her name on it, only it was not folded. And it had a few Quests of Yore doodles. Smiling to herself, Lily only had one guess as to who wrote the second one.

Went to pick up the young wizard. See ya later, young mage.

Barley the Brave

"Ha, ha. Barley the Brave. Kinda has a cool ring to it."

"Everyone's out but me," Lily said aloud. Then she lit up. "Everyone's out…" then the young girl made a mischievous and playful grin, "…but me."

She clicked her fingers and music started to play that surrounded the house. Lily started to lip-sync and dance around in many places but mostly in the living room with Blazey joining in now and then.

Somebody said you got a new friend
Does she love you better than I can?
It's a big black sky over my town
I know where you at, I bet she's around
Yeah, I know it's stupid
I just gotta see it for myself

I'm in the corner
Watching you kiss her
Oh oh oh
I'm right over here
Why can't you see me?
Oh oh oh
I'm giving it my all
But I'm not the girl you're taking home
Ooh ooh ooh
I keep dancing on my own (I keep dancing on my own)

I'm just gonna dance all night
I'm all messed up, I'm so outta line
Stilettos on broken bottles
I'm spinning around in circles

I'm in the corner
Watching you kiss her
Oh oh oh
I'm right over here
Why can't you see me
Oh oh oh
I'm giving it my all
But I'm not the girl you're taking home
Ooh ooh ooh
I keep dancing on my own (I keep dancing on my own)

So far away, but still so near
(The lights go on, the music dies)
But you don't see me standing here
(I just came) to say goodbye

I'm in the corner
Watching you kiss her
Oh oh oh
I'm giving it my all
But I'm not the girl you're taking home
Ooh ooh ooh
I keep dancing on my own (I keep dancing on my own)

I'm in the corner watching you kiss her
Oh oh oh
I'm right over here
Why can't you see me
Oh oh oh
I'm giving it my all
But I'm not the girl you're taking home
Ooh ooh ooh
I keep dancing on my own (I keep dancing on my own)

After the song ended, Lily felt like a quick break.

"I need some water," she giggled.

After drinking a full glass, she enthusiastically clicked her fingers again. The song she chose was one that a new friend from Metroland introduced her to. This time, Lily sang along with it as well as danced.

Hey baby, when you look at me
I know I'm in double trouble tonight
Hey baby, when you talk to me
I know I'm in double trouble tonight
Show me your love
Give me your love
How can something so wrong feel so right?
Straight from above, the whitest dove
I'm in double trouble tonight

Double trouble tonight

Double trouble tonight
Double trouble, double, double trouble tonight
Double trouble, double trouble tonight
Double trouble, double, double trouble tonight
Double trouble, double trouble tonight

Sometimes I pinch myself 'cause I don't know
Am I dreaming now? (You're not dreaming, no)
I wanna stop the clocks and hold you close (I'll hold you close)
But I don't know how

At this point, the young girl was in the kitchen when the two brothers unlocked the front door and entered the living room. They were confused about what was currently happening. Until they saw Lily coming out, singing and freestyle dancing her heart out to the tune with her eyes closed. All they could do was smile at her goofy and fun state.

Hey baby, when you look at me
I know I'm in double trouble tonight
Hey baby, when you talk to me
I know I'm in double trouble tonight
Show me your love
Give me your love
How can something so wrong feel so right?
Straight from above, the whitest dove
I'm in double trouble tonight

When she finally noticed them, Lily excitedly invited them to the dance. What followed was more hilarity and fun, especially when the boys made their dances funny. Lily couldn't stop laughing.

Double trouble tonight

Double trouble tonight
Double trouble, double, double trouble tonight
Double trouble, double trouble tonight
Double trouble, double, double trouble tonight
Double trouble, double trouble tonight

Lily took the closest seat she could find and let out a slightly exhausted breath.

"Hi guys," she grinned widely.

"Someone had fun while we were on a school quest," the older brother smiled with arms crossed. Ian also smiled at her.

"Oh, yeah," she said coolly, making a rock-on hand signal.
