There were books along every wall. Bookshelves seemed to touch the ceiling. Books of all different languages, sizes, shapes and colors. Some that seemed too heavy to even turn a single page. Katie was amazed. But she knew that she had one goal in mind. Looking for an encyclopedia of aliens. If no one was going to tell her what attacked her. Then she would find out on her own. But before she could open the book it was taken out of her hands. She looked up to see The Doctor holding it. Katie jumped up trying to reach it.

The Doctor simply held the book high over his head. " Are you really going to act like a child trying to get this book?" He asked. Hoping that she wouldn't try anything.

Katie pouted and she admitted defeat and then simply asked, "If you're not going to let me read about the creatures that hurt me. Then will you please tell me what they are?"

"Give me some time to think about it. Until then you can read anything else that interests you." He said half expecting her to throw a fit.

Katie nodded "Do you have Peter Nimble and his Fantastic Eyes? It's one of my favorites."

The Doctor grinned before running over to a shelf and grabbing a few books off the shelves.

"I think you might like these. Do you have any movie choices?"

"Deadpool 1&2, and The Iron Giant." She calmly replied.

"Um ok yeah sure, I'm gonna be honest with you I thought you were gonna add a lot more." He walked over and grabbed the movies she named. "Here you go, let any of us know if you need ANYTHING. The TARDIS likes you quite a bit. She will also help you." He gave Katie a patient smile.

"Thank you, and thank you too TARDIS." She smiled before walking away. Once she got back to her room, she began to locate her laptop. She opened it up only to find that some files were missing. She was annoyed but kept going through to see if she could figure out where they went. Now Katie is in no means skilled at coding or programming. Programming a robot to do something like turn right after 30 seconds. She could do that, but other than that she mostly played games and wrote stories to keep herself occupied. It also helped her when things got too real. She had no clue why, or how the files disappeared.

After what seemed like hours she had to stop. Katie thought she might destroy her laptop. She gave up and turned around only to scream and punch Jack in the face. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU WERE RIGHT BEHIND ME?" Katie shouted.

"I THOUGHT YOU HEARD ME! HOLY (word removed due to paranoid author) I'M ACTUALLY BLEEDING!" Jack yelled back he started to tilt his head back.

"No, don't tilt your head back you need to tilt your head forwards." Katie started digging around for a moment and handed Jack 2 tampons. "Tampons can be useful for nosebleeds because they expand when absorbing blood, creating pressure similar to when you hold your nose."

Jack had just declined the tampons when Martha and The Doctor came in. Martha started in shock at the fact that Jack was actually bleeding. Katie gave Jack a trashcan, "Why wouldn't you be bleeding? What are you immortal or something." Katie said this half joking. At the silence she got she went "Seriously?!"

"Remind me not to get you mad," The Doctor mumbled. He grimaced at the sight of Jack bleeding so heavily. "Jack I think she might have broken your nose, which in turn cut part of the artery in your nose open." He then looked over at Katie, "how did you not break your hand? Or wait did you break your hand?" He now walked over to Katie and looked at her hand.

"GAH (word removed) you! Sorry I guess I hurt my hand." All that was there was a little scrape. "Dang nothing fun to look at." Katie almost seemed to pout.

Everyone just started at Katie for a good few minutes. Jack's nose had stopped.

"Oh right I should explain, I really like learning more about the human body when everything isn't super bloody or when I'd finally calm down. I cut my toe on my bedframe when my foot slipped. I had to get medical glue. Doctor Adams thought I might've cut the nerve, but I didn't. Took like a week and a half for it to heal though. I think I have pictures somewhere. Along with a recording of my ear surgery." Katie rattled on. She then realized that everything was quiet, and everyone was staring at her. "Yeah, I'm kinda messed up." When describing all the injuries that she ever had Katie felt like Undyne from Undertale boasting about her injuries and how they'd happened.

"Okay then, lets just get to the med bay. I should be able to deal with your hand there." The Doctor said, almost wanting to scan her brain.

After a trip to the med bay and a small band aid Katie was fine. Everyone decided that should call that a day. She started to head back to her room. She needed to create a satchel/purse or fanny pack that she could carry around with her. She began to place things into a bag when she got a panic attack. She quickly unlocked a small box and quickly jabbed the pen into her leg. She also got an inhaler out. Katie had developed a medication that would be injected like you would with an Epipen or she could use an inhaler. She didn't realize that Martha was watching her. She placed the two into her satchel/purse. Katie decided that was enough for one day. She grew tired and snuggled under the covers and fell asleep.

I'm so sorry I've been gone for so long. Sometimes I get so interested in reading that I forget about writing. I'm going to be uploading more chapters for the other stories soon! I'm not too good at writing long chapters. I'm also sorry if things seem choppy. I recently accidently cut my foot on my bedframe. I've been put on moderate bedrest as to not tear the medical glue. This chapter is 997 words. (Not including author's note) I'm so sorry for being lazy. I'm done with crazy classes. Until January that is. I am now a beta reader! Sometimes I'm hesitant about people reading my stories because I get paranoid. I'm going to keep Katie's backstory in this story, because then I would have like 3 different stories that are basically just backstories. (Unless you want that.)

NO brain don't give them that option.

Too late

Drat, oh well. As always Follow favorite and review and message me any requests. I'm back in the writers chair. Or however that goes.
