Nottingham had been the subject of heavy rainfall for the past two weeks. The country is now facing a serious situation; once Prince John caught wind of the famous song about him, he tripled the taxes to make everyone pay for mocking him. A majority of the residents young, old and the infirm have been imprisoned. From her castle home, Maid Marian sat by the window and sighed heavily. Her heart went out to the residents who received mistreatment and forced to spend the rest of their lives behind bars.

"Oh Marian" Lady Kluck "We've got visitors."

"Hello!" Sora greeted as he, Riku and Kairi wakled in.

"Hello." Marian got up and curtsied "It's wonderful to see you again."

"Robin asked us to check on you." Riku took the towel Kluck offered to dry his hair "How are you holding up?"

"We're okay. I'm more worried about everyone in Nottingham."

"Oh that Prince John!" Lady Kluck growled as her feathers ruffled "He has gone too far this time!"

"Robin said we cannot move too quickly and we have to wait." Kairi said "But we'll definitely help everyone.

Sora nodded "So don't you two give up either."

"That's the spirit." Kluck smiled "We won't lose heart."

"Yes." Maid Marian nodded, she felt her spirits lifted "Please tell Robin to be careful. I'm counting on all of you; please save Nottingham."

"Yes!"

Back at the hideout, the group minus Donald and Goofy continued to discuss when would be the right time to strike. With more and more arrests being made, any chance that was available had to be grasped.

"Everyone, we've got bad news!" Donald shouted as he and Goofy rushed over

"What's wrong you two?"

"It's Friar Tuck!" Donald panted before shouting "He's been arrested!"

"What?!"

"We went to check up on him at the church." Goofy explained "Father Sexton and his wife said that mean Sheriff was stealing a donation from the poor box. Tuck stood up to him and he got captured."

"I know where they're keeping him. It'll be the same place where everyone else is." Robin grabbed his worn out disguise and fake glasses "Everyone, to the royal castle!"

The weather was now currently cloudy. At the castle, the Sheriff had finished setting up the scaffold in the courtyard with his henchmen vultures Nutsy and Trigger. He fastened the noose and straightened it.

"Well Trigger, everything's rigged up and all set."

"Yep, it's one of the prettiest scaffolds you ever built Sheriff."

"Sheriff, don't you reckon we oughta give that there trapdoor a test?"

Nutsy pulled the lever causing the Sheriff to fall halfway in "Now I know why your mama called you Nutsy." As the Sheriff pulled himself out of the trap, they saw a old man dressed in rags begging for alms.

"Do me old ears hear the melodious voice of the sheriff?"

"That's right old man."

"What be going on here?" he asked as he tapped his walking cane on the scaffold

"We're gonna hang Friar Tuck."

"No! Hang Friar" Robin nearly gave himself away but he quickly regained his composure "Hang Friar Tuck?"

"You betcha." Nutsy replied "And maybe it'll be a double hanging. Or even better, a whole lot of hangings."

Trigger shushed his companion "Dummy up you dummy!"

"Hanging eh? Who are the ones getting hanged?"

"Sheriff, this old man's getting all nosy" Trigger pointed his crossbow at the old man as a warning

"Oh I didn't mean nothing." he raised his hands in defense "But um, couldn't there be trouble if Robin Hood showed up?"

Nutsy laughed "Well wouldn't you know it Sheriff, he guessed it. He probably knows we plan on getting all of Robin Hood's friends too."

"Nutsy button your beak!" Trigger scolded him for giving away secret information without second thought.

"Ah no need to worry. The sheriff be too crafty, too clever and too smart for the likes of him."

The Sheriff beamed with pride at all the compliments he received and puffed his chest out with pride "Ya hear that Nutsy? For being blind, he sure knows a good man when he sees one, says I."

"Sheriff I still got a feeling that snoopy old codger knows too much." Trigger watched the old man leave continuously begging for alms to fill his rusty cup.

"Oh shut up Trigger. He's just a harmless blind beggar."

Once he was out of sight, Robin ditched the disguise and ran to the checkpoint to give his report to the others. Naturally, everyone was worried for Friar Tuck. Donald and Goofy held their throats in fear after hearing the threat of getting hanged.

"We can't let them hang Friar Tuck." said Little John

"We've got to do something."

"A jailbreak tonight. It's his only chance."

"And we're going to save everyone else too right?"

"Yes of course. And we'll be taking all the gold too." Robin fixed his hat and showed determination to ensure that the plan will be successful "We've got to do this or Friar Tuck dies at dawn."
