Chapter 8: The Search begins
Tails flying in his tornado he gives the others a call to tell them He's off to find Sonic.
"Hey Rotor how are the others looking? He asks him.
"Not's so good." He says at Freedom Fighter HQ.
"Silver suffered a concussion with a few broken ribs. As well as vector. Espio suffered a broken leg with minor injuries. Good thing his ninja training and skills prepared him for something like this. Charmy is tending with vector. He's still bummed out after telling Gloom about you tracking Sonic." Rotor explains.
"Tell him to not worry! Wasn't his fault he didn't had a choice." Tails says.
Blaze appears behind Rotor with crutches and a broken arm in a cask. "Is Tails there?" she asks.
"You wanna speak to him?" rotor obliges.
"Hey Blaze" he says while tracking Sonic. "How you feeling?"
"Well at least I'm alive. Were you able to find the others?" she asks
"Yes, but Gloom is trying to find them first. He came to my house and stole one of the trackers. I couldn't do anything because he used Vanilla as ransom." He says while clutching the plane wheel hard mad at himself.
"It's ok don't beat yourself over it." She says.
"How's Silver holding up?" He asks.
"…Not well. But he'll be fine." She says bummed a little.
"That's good to hear."
"HEY TAILS!" a female voice comes from beside him. There's a bunnie with a cowboy hat and a pink top and vest flying beside him.
"AUNT BUNNIE! You're ok! And your robotic legs are repaired.
"Yep, healed up and Rotor went to work on me!" She said in western tone. "Thanks again Rotor, You're the best!"
"He knows!" tails said.
"Shut up, let her tell me." Rotor replies.
"I'll call back when we find em!" Tails says.
"Good luck guys!" Rotor Hangs up.
"Well any idea where we're going?" Bunnie asks with her rocket legs helping her fly.
"Some big island on the other side of the world. An island somewhere in the sea near Adabat!" He explains. "might take us less than a day but we'll make it." He tells her. "So how's Antoine doing he ask's?"
"He's alright… Just needs time to heal up!" she explains.
"As long as he is alright." Tails says.
"Let's go find them!" he speeds the tornado up while Bunnie hops in the back.
Unaware a tentacle like creature with a yellow demon eye was flying and watching them speak it follows them from a safe distance. It looks like black doom's eye.
With gloom from a rooftop building unseen in metropolis.
"So… The kid found him. Now I know where the rest are. Question is who am I up against." Him juggling the yellow and purple Emeralds with one hand.
"Hmm on an island across the world huh. I always wanted to go with Maria on one of these islands. Seems like work mixed with a vacation. Welp lets follow them!" he stops juggling the emeralds and puts them in his quills. He holds the tracker in his hand and teleports.
