It's been a while. I know it seems like I had abandoned the story, and for a while that was true. I ultimately decided to come back to it, and try to see if I can't pick it back up again. That doesn't mean that I am going to rush to the ending, so don't worry about me leaving plot holes that add more questions than answers. So, once again: I do not own the Teen Titans. Those who think so should really read the credit sequence from time to time.

Six years later and I still need an aspirin...

As he lay there on the floor of Ravens room, he could not help but ponder the events that just happened not too long ago. His eyes fixated on no particular point, his mind was a million miles away, too far gone for anyone to reach him. The door was left open from the time that he had walked in, uninvited. He reasoned that he had entered with noble intentions of asking his pale friend if she was alright, and somehow it had led to her storming out after… that. Remembering what took place mere moments ago, the young changeling brought an arm to his face, attempting to cover up the dark blush that was spreading across his cheeks.

"Aw man… I can't believe I did that to her…" he mused, unaware that Cyborg was passing by the room at that moment. Noticing that the room door was open, he quickly looked both directions before gingerly stepping into the room. Being mostly metal, he wasn't completely silent, but Beast Boy was too deep into his thoughts to hear the man walking up to him. Curious as to what his teammate was doing on the floor, he leaned over.

"Can't believe you did what to who?"

Startled, Beast Boy looked around for the owner of that voice. As he attempted to get up, he hit his head on something hard. Looking upwards toward the ceiling, he saw that it was Cyborg looking down on him-literally. He sighed as he lay back down, too flustered and confused to do anything. Cyborg looked at him, concern written across his features.

"You alright man?"

"...I have no idea anymore."

Cyborg looked at his longtime friend with a puzzled expression. He had never known him to be totally and utterly unsure of himself, and it made the robotic teen wonder just what exactly had rendered him so speechless. The few times he had seen this side of him never seemed to overlap, so to have this happen again was just as baffling. Curious, the cybernetic teen bent down.

"Alright bro, what exactly did you do to make you like this?"

"I'm not really sure if I can tell you Cyborg. I highly doubt that you'll believe me."

"Seriously dude? Have you seen the shit that we go through on a daily basis? Nothing could phase me at this point. So just spit it out bro."

Beast Boy took a deep breath, and let it out. He pondered what Cyborg said. Thinking about it, it wasn't like there was anyone else on the team that he could confide in with as much confidence as he had for Cyborg. He was always secretly convinced that Robin was part machine, even if no one would admit it. There was no way for one person to be that focused on crime and still be human. Starfire may have been a princess, but she was still an alien in more ways than one. The difficulty in understanding was high on both sides of the conversation. Excluding Raven, the only person that could possibly understand what was happening would have been Cyborg anyway. He decided that it was better to bite the bullet and tell him, praying that he could help with the new thoughts storming in his head.

"I..kissed her. Not a peck either. It felt more than making out, I don't really know how to describe it. I felt wild, man. I don't know what exactly came over me."

Cyborg had one eyebrow raised, intrigued.

"..What are you talking about?"

The changeling blushed even more. To be honest, he was hoping that he wouldn't have to directly spell out what had just taken place and that Cyborg was smart enough to figure it out on his own. Looked like he couldn't take the easy way out of this, covering his face in a desperate attempt to hide just how much he was affected by this.

"Raven. I made out with Raven, man. Hard."

Cyborg was stunned. His eyebrows up to his hairline, he paused to make sure he heard his teammate correctly. "Raven? Our Raven? Daughter of Trigon, portal for the destruction of the world, meditation-speaking, tea-brewing, throws-you-out-of-a-window..that Raven?"

"Uh huh."

"You, made out, hard, with RAVEN?"

"Oh yeah."

Cyborg stared at him in utter shock. He knew the kid was braver than most, but never did he expect him to pull a stunt like that. For a moment, he wondered if his friend finally fell off the deep end and into the realm of insanity. He thought about it, and ultimately came to the conclusion that he didn't mean to do it on purpose. He was confident in the fact that the changeling had a bit more sense than that, regardless of what Robin says during training.

"So what now? I'm sure she didn't take too kindly to that, or did she?" he teased. Being the big brother of the team, he was given the privilege of being the one that the team spills their secrets to. Granted, he has never been the one to use his secret knowledge for his own personal gain, but he has used it to meddle with fellow titans.

Beast Boy's face visibly blushed an even deeper shade of red. Attempting to calm down, he thought about the way she looked at him as she left her room, the sea of emotions that were displayed in her violet eyes, the confusion about what just happened on the floor of what was supposed to be her sanctuary. The guilt weighed heavily, and tampered down the heat that had consumed him in the moment. He thought about what he should do next in order to preserve both the team and the fragile friendship that had just started to bud.

"I'm gonna stay away from her. I think she'd like it if I gave her some space for the time being." he said.

Cyborg wanted to throw the teen against the wall. He had knowledge of Beast Boy liking Raven for a long time (it didn't help that the boy was a sleep talker) and wanted nothing more than to see his best buddy happy. If his happiness came from Raven, then damn it, he would make sure that he got that happiness. And after all that talk in the common room, he'd be damned if he let that amazing plan of winning the dark girl's heart go to waste. With the subtlety of an elephant, he whacked the shapeshifter on the head.

"Ouch! Dude, what the fuck?!" he cried, holding the back of his head in an attempt to protect it from further abuse.

"You're an idiot Beast Boy."

"Mind explaining why you suddenly decided to give me brain damage today?" he asked, rubbing the spot that was hit to soothe the ache he felt.

"I'm going to be real with you here Beast Boy. She likes you. A lot more than anyone would have guessed. And personally, I highly doubt that she disliked that kiss."

Beast Boy thought back, and remembered how she had cried out, and not in pain, when he latched onto her neck, the blush that stained his face coming back with a vengeance. Said reaction didn't go unnoticed by Cyborg, who smirked to himself.

"Judging by the look on your face, I can tell she enjoyed it."

The changeling sighed heavily. "If she liked it, then why did she run away?"

"I'm assuming that this little scenario wasn't planned out. She probably ran away because she was embarrassed. That would be her first kiss, you know."

"Damn. She probably hates me now. How in the hell am I gonna fix this?"

"Can you think and pack at the same time?" he asked, moving to get up from his spot on the floor and looking at his teammate, indicating him to follow suit.

"..Why?"

"You do realise that we are leaving for a trip in a few hours, and you don't even have what you're wearing to the ball."

"Damn."
