Girls Aren't For Me
A/N: It's been 87 years! XD I just reread this story and felt inspired to write more. Hopefully no one hates me for not continuing this story sooner and to the new comers welcome and I hope you read and review!
Disclaimer: I do not own any characters affiliated with Naruto, only the ones I created and this story plot.
A week later, Sasuke had invited Mizuki over to watch a movie at his mansion and he was feeling nervous about being alone with her. She had been around more and cheering him up since Naruto had left on his mission. He was grateful and yet still sad that he was gone, he was beginning to worry since they had been gone for a while, but tried to distract himself. Everything reminded him of Naruto though, except Mizuki.
knock knock
The soft rap on the door startled him and quickly went to open it. Mizuki was wearing a soft pink dress that was ruffled at the bottom hem. She had a bow in her hair and light makeup on her face. Her lips were slightly tinted in a light shade of red lipstick and she was visibly nervous, terrified would be more accurate.
"Hey Sasuke, sorry I'm late." she said quietly.
"Oh you are? I hadn't noticed." he said cause he honestly hadn't, but then realized it probably sounded rude.
"Oh okay." she whispered. "Well I brought some movies of my own, some of my favorites."
She walked gracefully into the mansion and look around wide eyed.
"This is a really beautiful home." she said and turned toward Sasuke. He quickly looked up into her eyes, he was staring down at her ass for a moment. He had been really turned on lately since sleeping with Naruto that night...not that they had slept together, well they had slept together, Jesus he was lost in the sauce. That sauce being a hot blond boy.
"The dvd player is over here." he said walking towards the entertainment center. "which one did you want to watch first?" he asked truly curious.
"I've seen them so many times, you can pick." she smiled at him and sat on the couch. Directly in the middle of it, hoping that way he'd have to sit closer to her.
"Okay" he picked one at random cause he didn't really care for the romcoms she had brought, but still having here was better than being alone. He was so sick of being alone and really wished the dobe was back already.
"Oh I like that one." she said happily and patted the couch next to her.
He sat next to her and pressed play on the remote. The movie started with the usual previews and he yawned. He hadn't meant to do so so loudly, but couldn't help it. She frowned a little at his yawning, but then shrugged it off; maybe he was actually tired. She had gotten there a lot later than she had intended, but she was so anxious about being alone with Sasuke that she kept messing up her makeup and hair, then couldn't decide what to wear.
"I'll go make us some popcorn." he said and got up more abruptly then he meant to. She's so nice and innocent, I don't want to be rude, but I'm just not feeling a movie. He sighed while the popcorn started popping in the microwave.
"Hey Sasuke, do you have anything to drink?" she asked shyly.
"Yeah I have some soda, water, milk, beer" he was just rambling off what he had in the fridge.
"Beer? you have beer? How did you even...never mind. You know what, I think I'll have a beer." she exclaimed.
"R really?" he asked a little shocked, "Didn't picture you for the beer drinking type of girl."
She laughed and then took the beer he offered her. He grabbed the popcorn and dumped it into a large bowl.
They were back on the couch and neither of them were really paying attention to the dramatic scene on the screen. Mizuki was staring at Sasuke and wondering what he was thinking about. Sasuke was imagining Naruto being there, cuddled up next to him like he had that one day and sighed.
"um, where is your bathroom?" she asked him while standing up.
"Three doors down to your right." he said not looking away from the tv.
He was being rude and he knew it, he just didn't know how to politely ask her to leave and tell her that he was tired and not in the mood to watch movies.
In the bathroom Mizuki did her business, but then stood in front of the mirror, tears almost welling up in her eyes; why can't I be brave she asked herself. I really like him and want to make a move.
She wiped her face and then headed back into the living room. He looked up at her then and asked the one thing he didn't expect to cause a problem like it did.
"Hey are you okay?" He was truly concerned. She just seemed so sad when she walked into the room.
"I'm so sorry Sasuke, I can tell you're tired and you probably don't want to watch movies all night." a tear rolled down her cheek and he sighed audibly.
"Look I'm okay really, we don't have to watch movies, we can just talk or play a game, whatever you like. You came all this way to come over and I want you to have a good time.
Her smile at his words could have lit up a room. He smiled back and grabbed them another round of beers.
"What game did you want to play?" She asked excitedly and for moment reminded him of Naruto.
"Well I have playing cards, a few board games, video games or we could play never have I ever; to get to know each other better."
"I've never played never have I ever, I've heard of it, but just don't usually hang out with people. Let's play that."
She sat back on the couch and opened her beer, she was definitely a light weight and already felt a little buzzed.
"Okay I'll start and to make this interesting how about everytime you have done something the other person says they haven't you have to take a drink of your beer." he explained.
"Okay that does sound interesting." she agreed.
"Never have I ever kissed a girl." He said truthfully.
Mizuki blushed remembering that he was there and probably saw Sakura kiss her that night.
She took a sip of her beer and laughed.
He smiled and then said "Your turn."
"Never have I ever kissed a boy."
Sasuke didn't drink even though he had kissed Naruto that day he fell asleep on him but he didn't feel like sharing that with her.
"Never have I ever cheated on a test."
Neither of them drank.
"Never have I ever gotten a tattoo."
Sasuke Drank.
"Never have I ever been on a mission"
She drank and he was mildly curious as to what her mission was.
"Never have I ever been overseas."
She drank again, "I've been to america when I was a baby."
"That doesn't really count though." he laughed.
"Never have I ever had sex." she blushed when she said the word.
Neither of them drank, she honestly thought he wasn't a virgin and was happy that he was.
She was feeling really drunk now, she only drank a few times in her life and never this much. She was dizzy and starting to slur her speech. He could tell she was drunk and didn't want to her to get sick so he cut them off from the beer and brought her some water.
"I can order us a pizza if you're hungry, I'm feeling hungry myself; just realized I haven't eaten dinner."
"Sure pizza sounds great!" she said with a cute little hiccup in the middle of her sentence.
He ordered the pizza and some cheese bread to go with it then sat with her on the couch again.
Her eyes were slightly closed and she was flushed from the alcohol.
"Can I tell you something?" she asked not looking at him and before he could respond continued by saying "I really like you Sasuke, I came here because I wanted to get to know you better and see if we could more than friends someday."
Her blunt honesty took him by surprise then remembered she had liquid courage coursing through her veins right now.
"Oh I..." he couldn't think of how to respond, he liked her alot too, but didn't think he wanted a relationship with anyone right now, but for one exception.
She leaned towards him her eyes sparkling with tears, "will you kiss me?" she asked her voice barely a whisper.
He leaned in towards her and brushed her hair out of her eyes. He didn't think he'd enjoy it, but he did. Her lips were softer than Narutos and she warm whether from the alcohol or her nervousness he didn't know. He pulled her in closer and kissed her again a little harder and a soft moan escaped her lips. It turned him on and he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her so her chest was against his.
"S sasuke..." she breathed in, inhaling his scent and getting lost, her mind foggy. She didn't know what to do next or what to expect from him.
He pulled away then, slowly, but kept his hands on her upper arms.
"Well I suppose we can put that movie back on or pick a different one while we wait for the pizza."
They ate almost the entire pizza when it arrived, it was just what Mizuki needed to feel less drunk.
"You know I'm not sure how your parents would feel if you went home drunk." he said concerned for her.
"They would totally ground me for a month!" she said worry now in her eyes.
"It's okay, dont worry you can stay here and tell them you're staying the night a friends house."
She sighed in relief and then instantly became shy, staying the night at Sasukes house after they kissed.
"This couch pulls outs into a pretty big bed." he said and stood up, she stood up too and helped him pull the couch out into the bed position. He made the bed for her and fluffed up her pillows. She didn't realize he was actually trying to distract himself from what had happened.
"Will you lay with me for a little while, I don't want to go to sleep yet." she asked innocently.
"Sure" he said and laid on the bed next to her.
He pressed play and they watched another movie, this time in total silence; it wasn't awkward just peaceful, they laughed when something funny happened, talked about the dramatic and depressing scenes. She was actually much more intelligent than he had realized. He was feeling like they could be really good friends, she talked much more than Naruto and wasn't as annoying. When the movie was over he got up and said goonight. Turning off the lights as he made his way to his bedroom and shut the door.
The next morning when Sasuke went out into the living room he found a note on the couch saying that her parents had called and told her to come home and that she was sorry she didn't get a chance to say goodbye in person. She signed it with a heart next to her name and everything. I really don't want her to get the wrong idea he thought to himself. I don't want her to get hurt because my dumbass can't make up my mind about what or who I want...
