Lilith was at a total loss for words, and hadn't the slightest idea of what to do.
Gilith opened his eyes, he listened, hearing Nothing. He sighed and turned around.
Before him, still in shock was fully dressed, Queen Lilith.
Her eyes met his as he scanned her from toe to head. Her eyes gleamed in the night. He felt a sudden stab of fear that maybe he had done to much, or gone too far. So, he waited.
They stared each other down. She had a perfect figure, dark hair to her shoulders, and a presence that drew him to her. He stood his ground. He smiled, a genuine, kind and caring smile.
"I'm glad they fit well Lilith. They certainly suit you better then those rags you had on."
Lilith half smiled back, looking more like a smirk then an expression of glee.
"They do don't they. I am very pleased with these clothes." She saw Gilith visibly relax his stance.
"Very good Queen Lilith, good night." With that he walked back the way he came.
Lilith realized she didn't want him to go.
Azula! AZULA! Remember what you came for! a familiar voice, her voice, rang in her ears.
She hadn't thought that name in weeks.
But that was who she was, Lilith was just an alias to keep her location secret. Azula Inazuma. That she could never forget, was her. She was crazy, she hurt every friend she had ever had. And this was the result. Cast out by society she could no longer call her own.
Azula was not as she was before. She had balance now. Azula stared into the trees. A few boughs rustled in the light breeze a cricket-spider or two chirped. The moon was half full staring down at her with a half-smile.
I really am terrible at this. She thought. Relations and their ships had never been her strong suit. She was a monster, still is a monster.
"I am a monster. One that will tear down the avatar and take back my rightful place in the fire nation."
Her old resolve filled her as she walked back to the edge of the pool.
All in due time.
