Note: Here it is, everyone, the final chapter. This will answer some questions that some of you might have. The questions are as follows: Why was Lisa released from the hospital a day after she was sent there? What will Bert and Lisa do with the baby? Why didn't Nicole try and stop Bentley and Annie from going with Bert? Can Ralph's hand be reattached? Where are the reinforcements Captain Pepper said that he was going to get? Okay, let's get into chapter sixteen.

Chapter 16: Epilogue

As soon as Bert and Lisa got out of Mack Phillips' cabin, they found themselves being escorted to an ambulance by two police officers. These two cops were some of the reinforcements Captain Pepper had called on. Luckily, they were kind enough to give Lisa some spare clothes and help her get cleaned up. As for Bert, they had to ask him some questions about how he managed to find the female raccoon. Bert also had to tell them where the suspect was at, despite Cyril, Sophia, and Captain Pepper killing him. When he told them, the cops sent a recovery team to retrieve the body of Mack Phillips, who people had called the "Evergreen Rapist".

At the ambulance, Ralph was told that he was going to receive a prosthetic hand, seeing as his old one was destroyed. Lisa, on the other hand, had to have a rape kit used on her. This was because Sophia forgot to use one after Lisa was raped the first time around. Despite that, Sophia was not fired from her job as a nurse, but she later quit. The female aardvark had decided to spend more time with Cedric. However, Cyril was impressed with Sophia's sharpshooting skills, so he would have her train at a shooting range.

When George, Lisa, and Bentley got home, Nicole admitted that she couldn't stop Bentley from joining the manhunt, as she had a feeling that her little boy would save his sister. The family decided to watch over Lisa, as she was nearly a month pregnant. In addition, they threatened to press charges to the hospital for releasing her a day after she arrived. However, reports said that Lisa was fine outside of being sore, so a court case never came to be. Bentley continued to see Dr. O'Donnell whenever he wanted to see her, while Lisa still had to undergo physical therapy and occasional trips to her own therapist. The two younger raccoons were fine with this, due to having survived an encounter with a dangerous criminal.

As for Bert, he would take Lisa on dates in order to make her feel better. However, on each date, the two raccoons would occasionally be harassed. For instance, some of the Evergreen Forest's residents would call Lisa a slut, only to get yelled at (or threatened with violence) by Bert. After a while, the harassment died down when Captain Pepper threatened to tax some of the offenders if he caught them mocking Lisa again. He eventually became the Evergreen Forest's most trusted police officer. Apart from that, everything would be fine from now on.

Two months later and the wedding of Bert and Lisa was held at the Evergreen Forest's town hall. Everyone the couple knew had attended, including Captain Pepper and Dr. O'Donnell. When the ceremony was over, the newly married couple was escorted out of the area in a limo. A week later, and Bert and Lisa went to California on their honeymoon. While the trip was exciting in some areas, the two just wanted to be next to each other. And they were inseparable throughout their entire honeymoon.

When they got back to the Evergreen Forest, Bert had Lisa decide on what to do with the baby that was inside of her. Much to his surprise, his young wife decided to have the baby. The two had no idea what they would tell the child, due to it being a product of rape. However, only time would tell, as it was only a few months before Lisa would give birth to the baby. Bert would have to mature in order to be a father, even though the baby wasn't his. As for Lisa, she felt that she wouldn't make the perfect mother, but she could handle children.

Four months later, and Lisa was rushed to the hospital. The young woman was going into labor, so the doctors knew that they had to be careful. After an hour or so of pain, the baby, a boy, had arrived to the world. Bert and Lisa decided to name the child "Simon Ralph Raccoon" and agreed that they wouldn't keep any secrets regarding his birth. When they got home, Bert lowered the kit into his crib, where he saw his parents looking at him. After Lisa left the room, Bert kissed Simon on the head.

"Goodnight, little buddy, and welcome to the Evergreen Forest." Bert whispered before walking out of the room.

Note: Originally, I wanted to have Lisa get an abortion or give the baby up for adoption if she had it. However, seeing as many of you wanted Lisa to keep the baby (even though he was forced into his mother), I decided to feature the female raccoon raising him alongside Bert. I also decided to include the fact that they wouldn't lie to the kid about how he was born. Needless to say, the poor kid is going to have an existential crisis when he learns who his real father is and why his parents had him. What did you guys think about this chapter?
