Chapter 16 making flyers about bullying

Jake's POV
As our kids were taking their nap, Izzy cubby, and I were now in the dining room making flyers about bullying period and we're also talking about Princess's and surgery.
"Okay these flyers are going to be amazing!" I said to them.
" Jake and I agree with you Cubby it was your idea." Izzy said to him.
If anyone tries to bully people, you got to have to go through Jake because he's tough* Cubby said while writing it down.
"That makes good sense cubby good job!" I said to him.
"Okay I only need one, So A so we're going to have to make copies." Cubby said to us.
"If they have a copy machine." Izzy said to us.
"Come on guys relax I'm sure Peter has a copier machine inside of dance studio somewhere." I said to them.
"Okay, can we change the subject to princess's surgery now?" Cubby asked me.
" Sure okay we'll talk about that instead." Izzy said to him.
"Cubby, are you worried about your princess as well as we are?" I asked him.
" Jake of course I'm worried she's my niece. When was the last time I was worried about someone?" Cubby asked me.
" The back of the hospital with Izzy last year." I said to him.
" Okay, as we all know that me and you were both worried about her Jake." Cubby said to me.
" Yes I know, but you think of her as a big sister." I said to him.
" Boys please don't fight over me, it's embarrassing." Izzy said to us.
"We were just looking out for you." I said to her in a calm tone.
"Oh." Izzy responded.
"So anyway back to the topic of Princesse's surgery. So, how long do you think she's going to stay in the hospital for Jake?" Cubby asked me.
" I don't know, but I'll ask the doctor once that day comes." I said to him.
" Is Princess really going to take on the legacy of being a pirate I'm the future?" Izzy asked me.
"to be honest Izzy, I have no idea if she is. Time will tell though.* I said to her.
"Yeah you're right jake, I hope she doesn't start smoking or do drugs." Izzy said to me.
"Why would you say that to me?" I asked her.
"You'd be surprised Jake I've read online that people don't grow up to be what they are now. People become different." Izzy said to me.
" Don't worry we're not going to raise princess that way not even Baby Jay." I said to her.
" Jake this is Princess for talking about not baby Jay." Izzy said to me.
" Why can't I bring up our son? For all I know he's going to marry a nice young lady when he turns 25." I said to her.
" I just want a baby Jay to stay small Jake." Izzy said to me.
" Sorry Izzy but that's how life life goes. One minute you're born then you grow up to be a little kid to a teenager then an adult and then out of nowhere you pass away at the age of who knows." I said to her.
" Yeah but then you're reborn into the cycle." Cubby pointed out.
" Cubby where did you hear that from?" I asked him.
"Avatar The Last Airbender." Cubby said to me.
"Cool!" I said to him.
As I went to check the mail, the started package came for Princess.
"Hey guys, the started package came!" I said to them as I came back to the dinning room.
"Cool!" Cubby said to me.
"So is this fr Princess's surgery?" Izzy asked me.
"Yes Izzy." I said to her.
"Hey Jake there's something else too, in this box." Izzy said to me as she took took out some toy surgical tools.
" Aww so adorable. I think it's for the teddy bear, Jake." Cubby said to me.
" I know that Cubby. Thank you!" I said to him.
"You're welcome!" Cubby said to me as I slapped my forehead.
"Oh look Jake, the package also came with lights and surgical sheets." Izzy said to me.
"Yeah, and a guide on the day of her surgery." Cubby said to me.
" What's next a VHS tape about how to do the operation but it doesn't show it?" I asked them as Izzy took it our from the box.
"Yes!" Izzy said to me as my eye started to twitch.
"Okay let's put everything back in the box, this is too much." I said to them.
"But Jake, we have to show these to Princess." Izzy said to me.
" Guys, it's getting late and I'm tired so we'll show it to her tomorrow." I said to them.
"Okay fine!" Both Izzy and Cubby said to me.
"So are you going to sleep? Or taking a nap?" Izzy asked me.
"I'm going to sleep Izzy." I sakd to her.
" Okay good night my love." Izzy said to me.
"Good night Izzy, I love you." I said to her as I kissed her lips.
Izzy's POV
As I was asleep, I started to have a nightmare where I'm in London tied up to a chair.
"Oh good you're awake!" A familiar voice said to me.
"JOHN IS THAT YOU? WHY AM I TIED UP TO A CHAIR? WHAT'S GOING ON? AND WHERES JAKE?" I asked him.
" Oh Izzy I'm sorry but I'm afraid Jake won't save you he's busy with the crocodiles." John Darling said to me.
"You mean...NO!" I said to him.
"John what are you doing?" I asked him as he started to undress me and pulled my leggings down, and my underwear, as he started to abuse me and sexually harass me.
"JOHN GET OFF ME!" I said to him.
"NO YOU ARE MINE YOU'RE NOT JAKE'S ANYMORE. JAKE AND YOUR KIDS ARE NOW DEAD THANKS TO THOSE CROCODILES." John said to me as I started to tear up.
" TRY ALL YOU WANT MISS GREEN, BECAUSE YOU ARE GOING TO BE WITH ME FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE AND YOU'RE GOING TO LIKE IT!" John said to me.
"NO MY KIDS MY BOYFRIEND YOU MURDERER." I said to him.
"OH IZZY, YOUR THE KIND IF PERSON I WANT TO BE WITH." John said to me.
"NOW I AM GOING TO GIVE YOU A LOT OF LOVE, AND YOU'RE GOING TO ENJOY IT!" John said to me as another another figure kicked the door open wearing a ripped up red bandana and bruised.
"GET AWAY FROM MY GIRLFRIEND YOU SON OF A...*Beep* Jake said to him.
"HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?" John asked him.
"That's only for Izzy to know, and for you to never find out. I couldn't save our kids but I managed to save myself. Okay I try to save the kids but I couldn't." Jake said to him.
" JAKE JUST SAVE ME!" I said to him.
" I will after I beat up Mr John Darling over here!" Jake said to me as he punched john all over the his face.
Cubby's POV
The next morning, I was in the dining room reading the guide about the operation.
"Huh, this guide is interesting." I said to myself while drinking a cup of orange juice as I heard a scream coming from our bedroom. So, I immediately ran into our bedroom to see Jake holding Izzy in his arms while she was crying.
"Izzy what's the matter?" I asked her.
"I don't want to talk about it right now, it was so scary." Izzy said to me as she continues to cry on Jake's chest.
"Izzy, can you please tell us what happened?" Jake asked her.
"John Darling sexually abused me in my nightmare. While I was tied up to a chair, he took all my clothes off, and started hitting me and you told me that..." Izzy didn't continue until she started to cry again.
" Oh it was horrible! That must be the worst nightmare I ever had. And I'm scared it might come true here in reality." Izzy said to us.
"Izzy, sweetheart, that won't happen I promise. I'm going to protect you no matter what." Jake said to her as he hugged her tightly while rocking her back and forth to calm her down.
"That was so scary, that was so scary, and the worst part was that John told me you and the kids got eaten by crocodile. for a minute I thought you were dead in my nightmare until you busted the door open and started to beat up John." Izzy said to him.
"What about the kids did they survive?" Jake asked her.
"No." Izzy said to him.
"So I decided to send myself, but not the kids? What kind of father was I in your nightmare?" Jake asked her.
" Well in my perspective Drake you're a very stupid father in Izzy's nightmare you didn't even save Princess and Baby Jay." I said to him.
" Okay, but I won't do it in real life. I'll save them and myself." Jake said to me.
"Jake, may I stay home?" Izzy asked him.
"What? No you may not." Jake said to her.
"But I'm just terrified, from my damn nightmare last night Jake!" Izzy said to him.
" And I'm telling you you'll be fine, I will protect you. So, no you may not stay home Izzy." Jake said to her.
"What if John tries to hit on me again?" Izzy asked him.
"Then he'll have to go through me first." Jake said to her.
" yeah I mean have the flyers to prove that bullying is not the right choice." I said to them.
" Where did you put the flyer?" Jake asked me.
"I placed it under my pillow last night." I said to him as I went up my ladder and grabbed it from under my pillow.
As I was showing Jake and Izzy the flyers for the bullying, we went downstairs to look through the starter package for princess while Jake and Izzy were holding hands.
"I don't know about this guys, I mean Princess and surgery is in two months." Jake said to us.
" Are you feeling worried about Princess right now Jake?" Izzy asked him.
" Yeah I am." Jake said to her while still holding hands.
" It's okay Jakey." Izzy said to him.
"Thanks babe." Jake said to her as I was watching them.
"Love, makes everyone happy." I said to myself so that Jake and Izzy won't hear me.
"Anyway, when are we going to make copies of the flyers?" I asked them.
" Well how about, you go to the dance studio and make copies and we'll meet you there." Jake said to me as I was about to go until I stopped and realized something.
"Jake it's Saturday!" I said to him.
"Damn it. All right, we'll wait until Monday." Jake said to us.
"Jake how come you're the only one that forgot today was Saturday?" Izzy asked him.
"I don't know, I just forgot." Jake said to his girlfriend.
Jake's POV
As we were sitting at the dinning room table looking through the guide, I started to read it.
When Princess arrives at the hospital, she will get a hospital wristband with her name, and date of birth written on it, and the reason why she's here. Then ahe will wait until her name is called. Also, once her name is called, she will be brought into a hospital room and she will be given a hospital gown to change into. Then a surgeon along with a anaesthesiologist come in to explain about her surgery and what is going to happen. then she will be brought into the operating room in her hospital bed. After that, we will be on the operating table being put to sleep. She will be waking up in the recovery room, seeing her family again. she will also be giving light foods and liquids to have before she leaves the hospital to go home. Or go back into her hospital room*.
After I read the guide to my crew, we all found it interesting. As I went to go wake up baby Jay and princess, they were both awake. Baby Jake was in his crib playing with his Daffy Duck doll, and Princess was in her room playing with her toys. first I went into Princesse's room and got her ready for the day. As she brushed your teeth, took a bath, and got dressed. once princess was all ready for the day I told her to wait in the hallway as I went to get her little brother ready. so the first thing I did was change his diaper, brushed his little tooth, got him dressed, and then I took the two kids downstairs.
Once we were downstairs, Izzy Cubby and I started to talk about Princesse's surgery again.
"Okay, so Princesse's surgery is in two months, what are we going to bring?" I asked them.
"Well basically Princess! And maybe some toys, games, we can bring her stuff to animals period that way she doesn't feel so bored at the hospital." Both Izzy and Cubby said to me.
"Princess can you call me please?" I asked her as she walked up to us.
"Hi Daddy! what's up?" Princess asked me.
"okay, so you know that your surgery is coming up in 2 months. what's going to happen is that when we arrive then I'm going to put a wristband on your wrist that will have your name, date of birth, and why you are here." I said to her.
" am I going to go to the hospital for the day? or am I going to stay for a couple of days?" Princess asked me.
" well, since it's going to be a leg that's going to be operating on you will be staying at the hospital for a couple of days." I said to her.
" But it's going to be boring, just not even in the hospital bed all day and night." Princess said to me.
" Princess my crew and I, promise that we're going to make it fun as possible while you recover." I said to her.
" Yeah we'll bring games to to play, we'll also bring your stuffed animals so we can do maybe a little play. what else do you want us to bring Princess?" Izzy asked her.
"My little brother." Princess said to her.
"Will definitely bring him along." Izzy said to her as we all laughed.
As Cubby started to show Princess the teddy bear, the surgical tools, the toy operating lights, and the operating sheets, Izzy started to say something to Cubby.
"Okay, I think that's going to terrified princess Cubby." Izzy said to him.
"But Izzy, that's going to help Princess." i said to her as Cubby and along with Princess started to play an operating game with the teddy bear.
Izzy's POV
As the boys along with Princess were playing an operating game, I didn't want to get involved of it so I just watched.
After the game was finally over, we started to watch the VHS tape on why you shouldn't be afraid of hospitals and surgeries.
"okay I think Princess shouldn't get the surgery." I said to them as Jake was looking at me like I was crazy.
"Why shouldn't princess get the surgery Izzy?" Jake asked me as Cubby was covering Princesse's ears.
"because she might wake up in the middle of it and that might go all wrong." I said to him.
"Izzy, Princess needs to have the surgery because of the screws and plates being temporarily in her leg. I'm starting to wonder if all of this has to do of what you went through with your leg when you had to get surgery and stay in the hospital for a couple of days." Jake said to me.
"Yes, Jake, because I'm terrified of surgeries and hospitals." I said to him.
As we continued to watch the VHS tape, I started to fall asleep and start to have another nightmare.
I woke up out of nowhere, we're in the hospital down and being rolled into the operating room as I was now really really scared even though I knew it was about my leg.
"What's going on?" I asked the doctor.
"Miss Green, you passed out and your leg that had the screws and plates inside it came off so we're going to reattach the screws and plates." the doctor said to me.
" oh that doesn't seem bad. wait I'm wrong it does seem bad. GET ME OUT OF HERE!" I said to myself as I was then put to sleep.
