After having lost Sev during the invasion of Kashyyk, the newly formed Imperial Command sends a new commando to join Delta sqaud. But he's a bit different from the rest of his clone brethren.

8. Epilogue

22 BBY, "The Siege of Christophsis."

Yularen walked on to the bridge of The Negotiator. The war-torn crystal planet below, clearly visible. But the moment didn't last long, as a clone officer shouted, "Sir, we got incoming Separatist fire."

"Colonel Yularen, sir. The files you requested."

Yularen was ripped out of his memory, as the agent repeated herself with a slightly annoyed with his lack of a response. "Colonel Yularen, sir. The files requested." "Ah, yes. The lost commandos correct." Yularen responded having a vague idee of what she was talking about. "Yes sir, permission to speak freely? Sir." "Of course, agent. Speak your mind. "Thank you, sir. I am just curious as to why you are having us dig up old and irrelevant files, when we could be hunting down the rebels instead."

"If we don't learn from our past, then we are doomed to make the same mistakes again." Agent. Furthermore, the Mandalorian resistance fighters have been more successful than usual, indicating some form of insight into our operations or our methods. So, you believe that this 'Delta Squad' may have something to do with this. Perhaps agent, perhaps, you may go now." The agent responded with a quick and certain, "yes sir."

It took Yularen all of 2 weeks to read and analyze the enter mission report of "The Sy Myrth Rebellion."

Formally known as CC-1011 aka Longshot. Longshot was a veteran of the clone wars, a commando who lost his entire squad during an operation on the planet Dantooin and been injured himself, he was offered to become a test subject for the super soldier experiment Code named Spartacus.

After having accepted the proposal Longshot and 116 other soldiers were transferred to the planet Byss where they strived to become the best soldiers the galaxy had ever seen, with highly advanced armor, weapons biological augmentations and cybernetic implantations.

The project was later shut down because of costs concerns, all subjects were given new identities and released into the imperial military with explicit orders to never talk about Byss or whatever they may have experienced on that planet.
