The night is peaceful. The insect Hashira went out to admire the moon. Seated on top of the roof she exhaled.
The blanket of stars with the sound of crickets calmed her. She's enhancing her total concentration breathing and she's aware of everything on that moment even that grumpy short man sitting on the porch.
"Yoo-hoo... Are you okay, Levi-san?" She approached. The said man startled.
"Shit woman.. Can you please drop that fucking entrance and stop smiling like that it's disturbing." He said.
She sat beside him. The grumpy Corporal ignored her and continued minding his own business.
"Do you have a problem on sleeping?" She blurted out smiling.
"How can you say that? and I thought I said stop smiling like a creep." He said glaring at her.
"Oh that! Well you see you have dark circles under your eyes and you're too short unlike Erwin-san." She said as a matter of fact.
"The fuck? Why does it concerned my height?" He glared even sharper.
"They say that if you don't sleep at the right time, it affects your height!" She replied.
"Never heard that.. I'm 99% sure that you just made that right now." He snorted.
Silence surrounded them. The full moon was covered with clouds and he looked at her smiling face.
"You have that creepy smile again... Drop it, You're not happy at all right maybe the opposite?" He said breaking the silence. Her eyes widened.
"Ara-ara, you're the second person who realised that..." She said her eyes softened.
"Then why are you smiling like that?" He said curiously.
"Because my Sister asked me to, she loved the way I smiled," She said. "So I started showing my smile.. Hoping she'll see me happy even though she's gone." She explained.
"Then stop being a bitch and show how you feel. Stop smiling like an idiot." He said getting up.
"Here catch this," She said throwing a bottle. "That's a sleeping pill drink that before you sleep."
Connie yawned looking at the sleeping mat behind him. He tensed up.. He's so dead! He spotted a familiar black haired man at the corner of the room sleeping tightly. He shrugged at his Superior and went out to take a bath.
They are having breakfast and the Corporal walked in.
"Oh! Sleeping beauty! You're finally awake?" Hange said. Levi shot her a glare.
"Good morning Levi-san, hope you had a good night sleep." Shinobu said and He just ignored her. "So, the training starts today after we eat! Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu will train with you also."
"Here.." Giyuu threw some wooden swords at them. "Give me 500 sword swings."
"Uh.. Do we have to control our breathing like yesterday?" Eren asked.
''No need.. Just give me 500 sword swings." Giyuu said.
...
They're inside the Dojo seated on the floor. Shinobu and Giyuu seated in front of them.
"Try to clear your mind first by meditating you need to concentrate for you to learn the breathes." She said.
After half an hour of meditating they went out of the dojo.
"Try to brace your stomach in every form you'll going to do." Tomioka said.
Sasha stood first making some of her praying mantis pose. Giyuu hit her stomach. Sasha flinched.
"Stop goofing around.. Again." he said.
Mikasa made some of her fighting stance and Giyuu hit her. She didn't even flinched.
".. Keep it up." he said passing through her.
The boys stood up in front of the Water Hashira.
Levi is the first one. He easily braced his stomach.
"... Keep it up.. Next you bald head." Giyuu said passing through him.
Shinobu is seated with the Mizunotos and Kanao.
"Hey, why are you guys just sitting there with Miss Shinobu?" Connie said.
"Well, we're done on that training," Tanjiro smiled at them. "You guys can do it!"
...
"Now I want you to fight each other.." Giyuu and Shinobu stood in front of them. "I want to see your sword skills..."
Annie is paired with Krista, Bertholdt with Reiner, Mikasa with Sasha, Connie with Armin, Ymir with Hange, Eren with Tanjiro and Inosuke with Zenitsu .
"You.. You're the Corporal right? I'll be your opponent." Giyuu said picking up the sword on the ground.
The first one to fight is Levi and Giyuu. Levi is the first one who attacked. Giyuu dodged his attacks easily by his wooden sword. Everybody is watching, waiting for Giyuu and Levi's next move.
"If you're going to attack you need to find an opening like this..." Giyuu said hitting his side. "You're holding back.. Bring it all." He said. Striking again not showing any kind of weakness.
'Is it me or he wants to kill me?' Levi thought. 'Fine... I won't hold back..'
Levi's attacks became serious.. His previous injury is finally fine now that medicine Shinobu gave him really works. He finally see Giyuu's attacks and the pattern. Sure he can dodge his attacks but it's too powerful and he have to use his full strength.
On the audience spot Shinobu is watching with an amused expression . 'Look at you Tomioka-san! You finally look serious!' she thought.
"Impressive... If you learn the breathing technique, you can rival a Hashira's strength.. Train hard, " Giyuu said looking at Shinobu.
"Look at you Tomioka-san! You look serious for the first time." She giggled. "I thought you're an airhead klutz."
Giyuu ignored her and signaled the next pair which happened to be Mikasa and Sasha. He took a seat beside Shinobu. "They are strong... if they were given a chance to train with a good mentor, the possibility of rivaling us is high." He said watching Sasha and Mikasa.
"What's wrong with you being a trainer?" She said curiously, eyes widen lips parted. He stared at her and looked away as quickly as possible.
"You know.. I'm not good at interaction right?" He said. "You always say that."
She laughed again. "You know I want to tease you, " She simply said. "Don't take it seriously."
"That's enough, next.." Giyuu said.
"That's insane! I've never spar with someone like that!" Eren said looking at Tanjiro.
"Why is that? You're soldiers right?" Zenitsu asked sitting beside Tanjiro and Eren.
"Well you know.. The only serious opponent back at training camp is Annie... And Mikasa." Eren said.
"Hm.. Is that so? But you're strong Eren.." Tanjiro said. "You guys are all strong I can smell it."
Eren looked at his friends. Sasha is talking with Connie and Ymir while Krista is laughing at her friends actions. Reiner is standing beside Bert and Annie while Armin and Mikasa are talking about something.
'Yeah.. We're strong... But' He closed his eyes. 'We still need to be stronger than before..' He remembered their encounter with Muzan. 'To defeat the enemies of humanity..' and that moment her mother was eaten.
"Hey Shinobu-chan! Tomioka-san!" Mitsuri called from behind with Obanai and Kyojuro. Obanai sure looked like a mad man with a Flashy image of Kyojuro behind him.
"We're going to supply the other world.. is Nezuko-chan here?" She said with a sweet voice that makes the boys blush and Obanai to double his deadly aura.
"You brats! Don't you dare look at her! I will skewer you with my sword!" he threatened them. Reiner, Bert, Armin, Jean, and Connie looked away.
"Iguro-san! Don't be like that.. We should help each other! Not fight each other.. My heart will burst into pieces if you fight them!" Mitsuri said defending them.
'Another Goddess..' Reiner thought.
"Nezuko is playing with the three Little girls." Tanjiro explained.
"Tanjiro.. Go get your sister," Shinobu said. Tanjiro nodded and stormed off with Zenitsu and Inosuke. "Mitsuri-chan.. Kyojuro-san, Iguro-san.. Will you please inform us the situation when you go back here?"
"That's fine Kocho! I'll gladly do that!" Kyojuro said.
Levi and Hange exchanged looks. This man with the weird Blonde-Orange hair is something beyond their comprehension..
"Shinobu-chan! You should all visit my place! I'll make breakfast for all of us!" Mitsuri said.
"Ara~ maybe we can drop off sometime?" Shinobu said smiling at Mitsuri.
This is going to be a very long day for them.
