Chapter 7:

Finale

Rey arrives on Exegol, with Picard pacing the rocky terrain with her. They approach the Sith throne. "Remarkable," Picard exclaims as he examines the grand eerie design of the throne.

"Long have I waited," this sinister voice said. "For my granddaughter to come home" Sidious looks to Picard, "And there is a sight I have not seen in generations. Captain Picard of the Enterprise. Your coming here as a prisoner will be your undoing."

Picard, "Oh, great Emperor, it's been too long since we have been in your great Sith presence. I surrender to you." Palpatine laughs. "You will watch my granddaughter take the throne as the new Empress. Empress Palpatine, your throne awaits." Sith faithful take Picard hostage. When Rey resists, he is taken away from their presence.

Rey resists, hoping to free the Sith. Palpatine denies this, disbelieving his granddaughter. They speak about her parents. "My parents were strong. They resisted you!"

Palpatine continues to seduce Rey to the Dark Side. Palpatine opens up the ceiling and reveals the Final Order Sith fleet and the Resistance fighters overheard engaging in battle.

He threatens to destroy the Resistance fleet if Rey refuses to join him and the Sith

At the entrance, Ben Solo comes to her rescue, after receiving sound advice from his father, Han, through the Force.

Ben defeats the Knights of Ren. Picard, who had been taken hostage by the Sith faithful slipped a transport beacon into Ren's sleeve, in case something happened to him.

Rey and Ben come together, lightsabers illumed, standing ready. "Stand together, die together." Palpatine feels a surge of power. "A dyad in the Force. The power of two restores the one true Emperor!"

Palpatine takes the life essence of both Rey and Ben. His eyes return the yellow color he had 30 years ago. The contraption that kept him alive was disconnected. "Look what you have made!"

As Ben gets to his feet, Palpatine says, "As I once fell, so falls the last Skywalker." Ben is flying back, but has time to activate the emergency transport unit Picard had given him.

"Do not fear their feeble attack, my faithful. Nothing can stop the return of the Sith!" Palpatine spews out powerful lightning from his fingertips.

As he is falling, Ben materializes onto the La Sirrena. Ships shields are weakening. Starfleet and Resistance fighters are being stopped in their tracks. It seems that all hope is lost. Finn, Janae and BB-8 do what they can to bring the Sith fleet to it's knees.

Just before the lightening attack, Picard signals the Fleet from the Federation and it's allies. Lando's fleet come out of lightspeed from the Outer Rim Territories appear; but also on Poe's right, Starfleet ships stand ready with shields up and weapons hot on the Star Destroyers.

Rey lies, defeated. She summons the Jedi past to be with her and empower her in the will and balance of the Force.

She rises and Palpatine says, "Let your death be the final word in the story of Rebellion!" His powerful lightening clashes with her lightsaber.

Palpatine says, "I am all the Sith." Rey, having retrieved Ben's lightsaber, retorts, "and I am all the Jedi"

With all the power she can muster, she defeats Palpatine.

Picard returns to Exegol. He and Raffi transport her to the La Sirrena.

Ben Solo uses the healing power within him. He restores Rey. Rey hugs Ben. She hugs Picard and Raffi.

The Sith fleet Star Destroyers are defeated and destroyed.

The heroes return to Ajan Kloss and have a great time celebrating their victory.

Lando bids goodbye and returns with Janae to Bespin.

Wedge Antilles leaves for Tattooine.

Rey, Finn, and the Resistance gang go to Tattooine much later.
