10pm
Brittany rubbed Santana's back slowly while the Latina was fast asleep across her lap as the two laid in bed. Brittany convinced Santana to wake up long enough to eat dinner and take a warm bath around 8pm before the two got back in bed, Santana still being extremely groggy and unable to stay away for more than a few minutes. Brittany used the time to research the anxiety pill she took and learn about the side effects, she took some notes on the article she read and began to monitor Santana's symptoms, writing down when she took the pill the night before, and making a note of the time she was awake throughout the day, and how long she remained awake. She turned on the tv and flipped through the channels looking for something to watch before deciding to turn on Netflix, and watch a movie. She was halfway through the movie when Santana stirred slightly before settling back in her sleep, now holding Brittany tightly around the thigh. She slipped her hand in her wife's tank top and rubbed her back, making sure she wasn't hot at all or sweating since she was visibly red. She was taking a sip of her water when Santana jumped up and ran to the bathroom, Brittany hopping out of bed right away and following after her, relaxing when she saw Santana just had to use the bathroom.
"You scared the crap out of me, I thought you had to vomit." Brittany exhaled deeply, staring at her wife, who had her head in her hands while she used the bathroom.
"Sorry." Santana replied softly.
"Are you feeling okay, San?" Brittany then asked, in a stern and serious tone that caused Santana to look up at her quickly.
"Still groggy, but I feel okay." Santana nodded. "I'm just really tired, I can't shake the meds."
Brittany nodded. "I can tell you don't feel well, honey." She replied sympathetically, rubbing Santana's back when she stood up to wash her hands. Santana turned into her arms and exhaled deeply as Brittany hugged her tightly. "Anything I can do, should we call the doctor?"
"No, I want to try to just sleep it off." Santana whispered.
"Okay, let's get you back in bed, baby." Brittany stated, breaking the hug and grabbing Santana's hand, leading her back to the bedroom and helping her get back in bed.
Santana immediately curled into the fetal position, which Brittany knew meant she didn't feel well, so she turned off the tv and spooned her, peppering soft kisses to the back of her head. "I love you, Sanny, feel better beautiful."
"Te amo." Santana whispered in reply.
8am
Britany woke up when she felt the bed shake harshly, she thought Santana was having a nightmare and jerked awake quickly ready to wake her up, but was surprised when she saw Santana setting up a tray of breakfast.
"I didn't mean to wake you, I tripped into the bed." Santana blushed, using a napkin to clean up the orange juice that spilled slightly on the tray. "There's some OJ in your eggs now, but we'll just consider that extra flavor." She laughed softly.
"Good morning." Brittany smiled. "I love OJ and eggs, so that's perfect." She teased. She knew Santana was clumsy naturally but it was worse when her anxiety was heightened.
"Good morning." She nodded in reply as she climbed back in bed and snuggled close to Brittany, another sign she wasn't feeling the best, since sheliked room and space when she ate, even though they were opposite handed snuggling close to eat, wasn't something they did very often at all. Usually only when one of them wasn't feeling the greatest.
"This looks good." Brittany smiled, kissing her wife on the cheek. "Did you cook for everyone?" She probed, hoping that Santana didn't overexert herself and try to prove she was feeling better by cooking a massive meal for all the people in the house.
"No, just us." Santana shook her head. "This is a thank you for yesterday and last night. You've been super patient with me lately, and I know I've been freaking out, so I thought you deserved breakfast in bed."
"Thank you, baby, but you know you don't have to thank me for that, you know that." Brittany replied, eating a forkful of hash browns. "I am a little worried about you still, I don't like that pill."
Santana nodded while chewing, and taking a sip of the juice. "I didn't either, way too strong." She broke a strip of bacon in half and popped it in her mouth, "I would just do half a pill next time."
"Hmmmm, are you still feeling the effects?" Brittany asked, eating the other half of Santana's bacon when the Latina handed it to her.
"Honestly? Yes." Santana nodded. "I don't feel anxious really, but ummm, it's like I can feel the medication still flowing through me. It's weird and hard to explain. Sleeping it off doesn't seem to be working so I don't know what else to do." She shrugged.
Brittany wrapped her arm around her and kissing down her face. "We'll figure it out together, okay?"
"Okay." Santana nodded.
Madison walked in the main house, holding Hendrix, who wouldn't let his mother out of his sight that day and smiled when she saw Santana sitting in the kitchen, drinking a cup of tea while she flipped through a magazine.
"Hey mom." Madison stated, slightly startling Santana who didn't hear her come in.
"Hey, honey." She smiled in reply, allowing Madison to kiss her on the cheek before reaching for Hendrix, who easily went to his grandmother giving her a big smile. "Hey Hendrix, Lita needed that big smile."
Madison grabbed a bottle of water and sat down at the table. "Where's momma?"
"Down in her office doing some work before a taking a meeting in a few hours." Santana replied, sliding the magazine back when Hendrix tried to reach for it. "Nope, this is Lita's magazine." She laughed when he squeaked out me. "Thank you for coming up and checking on me last night. Very sweet of you."
Madison nodded. "You're welcome, you did drool on my tshirt." She teased.
Santana laughed softly, before beginning to rock Hendrix to sleep, the baby babbling softly to himself. "Pick a top online and send me the link, I'll buy you a new one." She winked, kissing the top of Hendrix's head, before running her fingers through his curly hair.
"You don't have to buy me a new shirt." Madison smiled. "I just enjoyed spending time with you, even if you were asleep." She blushed.
Santana raised an eyebrow at her as her face softened. "What's going on, honey, you okay?"
Madison shrugged, "it's hard being away from my mom during this pregnancy for some reason. Being around you last night, really made me feel at home."
"Awww...sweetheart."
"We've always had a pretty good relationship but I would like for us to be closer, especially now during the pandemic. Even if it's something simple like us watching a movie or something." Madison added.
Santana reached over and grabbed her hand. "I would love that, anytime you want to come and hang out just come on over. You don't have to always use my babies as an excuse to come over." She added, knowing Madison didn't typically come into the main house without one of the grandkids. While she had a good relationship with her she knew that they could definitely be closer. She saw the quarantine as the perfect time for them to bond more. "How about tomorrow night we have a movie night in the theater, or we can do a tea sesh and just talk over some Jasmine tea. Your call."
"I'll take a raincheck on the movie, a tea sesh and just talking is perfect." Madison nodded excitedly.
"Go lay your baby boy down." Santana smiled, kissing Hendrix before passing him off to Madison.
4pm
Santana was laying down on the couch in their bedroom when Brittany walked in with a basket of laundry. "Hey, feel like helping me fold some towels?"
"Of course." Santana sat up and yawned while stretching, she paused the movie she was watching while slipping her socks back over the heels of her feet. "I didn't know you were doing laundry, I would have helped."
"It's okay." Brittany smiled at her, setting the basket on the floor between the two of them. "I thought you might be resting."
"Oh...nah, just watching tv." Santana shrugged. "I had an interesting talk with Madison earlier. She seems to be having a rough time with the pregnancy, she was saying how she misses her mom and all this stuff. I'm going to try to spend some more time with her, try to create more of a homey feel for her. I know them being here instead of back at their house is probably extremely uncomfortable for her. I want her comfortable."
Brittany nodded. "Maybe everyone should go home, Sanny. I know you want to be able to see the grandkids, but I don't know..."
Santana nodded. "I know, but at least this way they have more help, Madison is still working from home and with Noah doing whatever the hell he's doing..." she rolled her eyes. " We can help out, if not us, Momma P can help out, you know she loves seeing the kids. I'll talk to her and see if she wants to go back home, and if so, I'm okay with that. Honestly."
"That's true." Brittany nodded, starting to finally understand why Santana wanted everyone to stay with them. They definitely have the means and status to pull off anything they would need to get done, no matter the amenity they could provide it. "Well, how are you feeling this afternoon?"
"A lot better, eating lunch really seemed to help." Santana nodded. "I think after a good night's sleep tonight, I'll be brand new, all shiny and shit." She smiled brightly.
Brittany laughed loudly, happy to see her wife feeling better. "Well, how about we relax in the jacuzzi tonight and I give you a rub down before bed."
Santana immediately perked up, "a rub down or a rub down?" She asked, wagging her eyebrows at Brittany, who leaned forward and kissed her wife, instantly deepening the kiss and pushing her tongue in Santana's mouth, the kiss quickly escalating as Santana dropped the towel she was holding and climbed in Brittany's lap.
"Whichever kind of rub down you want." Brittany mumbled against her lips with a smile.
Santana hugged Brittany around the neck, moaning softly as Brittany grabbed her butt tightly and began to pepper kisses to her neck. "I love you." Santana whispered as she pulled Brittany to stand and reconnected their lips. Hugging Brittany tightly around the neck, Santana began to walk Brittany to the stairs leading to their bedroom, their lips never leaving the others.
Brittany finally broke the kiss and grabbed Santana's hand, leading her up the stairs and sliding the door closed behind them, and softly turning the lock. She allowed Santana to take control, fully being aware of how her wife's anxiety had been the past couple of days.
Santana quickly lifted Brittany's tshirt over her head, quickly unhooking her bra as she began to kiss around her wife's breasts, moaning softly as Brittany ran her fingers through her hair. "Come to the bed, B." She husked as she sat ont he bed and waiting for her Brittany to sit down next to her. Brittany cupped her check before leaning Santana back and crawling on her.
Makenzie was hanging out in the family room when Carter walked in with a bowl of pretzels and popcorn, a bottle of hotsauce in his hand. "Movie Mondays." He smiled brightly.
Mackenzie raised an eye and laughed. "You and mommy are dorks." She smiled, reaching for the popcorn and grabbing a handful. "Did you invite Grey?"
"No." Carter shook his head, walking back to the kitchen, just as Ashton walked in the space, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with a pair of red Nike Dry-fit sweats.
"Hey," Mackenzie mumbled as Carter came back with a pitcher of lemonade and a bottle of Sprite.
"What the fuck." Carter snapped.
"Can we talk bro?" Ashton stood up and asked him. "Let's fight it out, let's yell it out, but I need you right now, bro. I need you."
Carter's glared dropped when he saw the emotion in Ashton's face, while Grey was always the most sensitive of the boys, he also had the biggest temper, but Carter was always able to tell when he was being sincere.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"I'll make us a fruit salad." Mackenzie smiled, jumping up and leaving the room, heading to her moms wing of the house.
"What's going on?" Carter asked again. "Are you sick of something?"
"Blaze is pregnant." Ashton stated.
"Who the hell is Blaze?" Carter frowned.
"I met her a few months ago...I'ma be a dad." Ashton replied.
Carter blinked slowly. "Are you serious?" He asked with a big smile. Ashton nodded. "Whoa, congrats boy!" He beamed, hugging him tightly. "Does mom know?" He then asked.
"Thanks, and yes, both mom and momma know." Ashton smiled.
"And you're still alive?" Carter laughed. "You really are the golden child." He added, shaking his hand.
"Listen...I know you're mad at me about a lot of shit, and I promise we'll address that but I need my brother right now. I'm freaking out about this." Ashton told him.
Carter frowned, "freaking out about what?"
"I don't know how to be a dad, it's not like we had one growing up." Ashton shrugged. "What if it's a boy, and I totally screw up like his first fishing trip or something."
"Noah didn't know how be a dad either, yet he keeps popping kids out with no concern." Carter laughed.
"Yeah, but let's be real, mom raised Nicholas and Peyton." Ashton laughed.
"True." Carter shrugged. "Well you know I got your back." He nodded. "But you have to start respecting me as a man, I'm a grown man, I own a business, I have a dope ass acting career, and I pay my taxes."
Ashton stared at him and nodded. "You're right, you aren't just my annoying little brother anymore and I'm super proud of you Carter, whether you know it or not, and whether I show it as much as I shoaled on not. I'm super proud of you kid."
"Thanks." Carter blushed slightly before smiling widely. "So, AJ if it's boy, right?"
"Of course." Ashton nodded firmly.
"I'm godfather, right?"
"I wouldn't have it any other way." Ashton nodded once again.
"Don't leave." Santana whined, when Brittany slid out of her arms, and got out of bed.
"I have to pee, be right back, keep the bed warm for me." Brittany winked, quickly running to the bathroom.
After making love for 2 hours, the pair fell asleep for a few hours before having dinner with the kids, ordering a bunch of pizza and wings and having a low key dinner, while everyone sat around, laughing and talking. They slipped out of dinner early and came up to their bedroom, where they took a long hot bath together and Brittany kept her promise of giving Santana a full body massage hoping to relax her for the night, so she could sleep the remaining effects of her anxiety pill off and hopefully get back to her old self.
Britany came back a few minutes later and cuddled close to Santana, who was wearing a black tank top and a pair of red pajama shorts. She kissed Santana on the forehead, causing her eyes to pop back open. "Feeling okay?" She asked when Santana wiggled closer to her and immedatiely wrapped her arms around her, something she didn't do often when she slept.
"Yeah, I'm okay, I just want you to hold me so I fall back to sleep." Santana replied.
"Okay," Britany nodded, holding her tightly and rubbing her back. "Good night."
Santana closed her eyes just as there was a knock at their bedroom door. "We're sleep."
"I don't feel good." Mackenzie said softly, causing Santana to sigh.
"Come on in Mack." Britany told her, sitting up and flipping her hair to the back. Mackenzie walked in, wearing an oversized Full House tshirt, and a pair of small black shorts.
Santana remained laying down but eyed her daughter to see if she appeared sick, she took notice of how red her face and neck were. "Mackenzie, stay back baby. Have you left the house lately?"
"No."
"Brit..."
"Santana..." Brittany frowned before turning to Mackenzie, "Whats wrong, babe?"
"My stomach hurts and I can't poop." She whispered.
Santana closed her eyes, "all that damn cheese made you constipated, drink some ginger ale, and take some Tums."
Brittany got out of bed and walked to the bathroom, grabbing the Tums and shaking a few in her daughter's hand. "There's some warm ginger ale in the pantry."
"Can I lay in here on the couch?" Mackenzie asked.
"You aren't 5 anymore Mack." Santana rasped, fighting to stay awake, "if the Tums don't help after a few hours, then yes, you can come back up here."
Mackenzie nodded. "Okay, good night."
"Good night, honey." Santana replied, Brittany glancing down at her and rubbing her back.
"I'll check on you in an hour, Mack." Brittany assured her.
"One...two...three..." Santana pointed as she counted out blocks with Raven, the baby standing up next to her as she sat on the floor, holding her tightly around the arm. "Count with Lita." She told her, turning her head and kissing her softly on the forehead.
"Lita!" Raven squeaked.
"Yep, I'm your Lita, let's count okay?"
"Count." Raven laughed.
"Oh. that's funny, huh?' Santana laughed as Noah walked in carrying Hendrix, Madison walking behind him, with a diaper bag. "Great, you both are here, I want to talk to you about something."
Noah set Hendrix down, and watched him run over by Raven, hugging her tightly, Raven smiling and hugging him back before picking up a block and handing him a block. "Gosh, they are so cute." Santana beamed.
Madison yawned and sat down, "they get along great, we lucked out. Hopefully baby 5 fits in with the rest of the kids."
"Everything okay, mom?' Noah asked. "Feeling okay?"
Santana stood up, and nodded quickly. "Yeah, I'm okay." She stated, sitting down on the couch next to Madison and rubbing her stomach with a smile. "I was talking to Brit last night, and I want you both to know that if you want to leave and go back home, you're welcome and free to. We aren't kicking you out by any means, but I know with Madison being pregnant you might be more comfortable at home."
Brittany walked in the room, "hey everyone." She smiled to the adults, before excitedly greeting her grandkids, tossing them each in the air and kissing all over their faces. "What's up?" She asked, sitting next to Santana, kissing her softly to greet her.
"Mom is kicking us out." Noah laughed.
"No...no." Santana shook her head. "I was telling the kids that if they want to go home, they can and they should." She turned to Madison and cleared her throat. "I don't want you to be stressed here, and I know you might be more comfortable in your own space at your house. Of course, you welcome to stay here as long as you want, but...I don't want you keep you all here if you don't want to be."
Brittany nodded but remained quiet, laughing at Hendrix as he stood on her thighs and danced while Brittany softly beat boxed for him.
"That's Madison's call." Noah stated.
"At first I wanted to go back home, but now I don't want to leave...I love being around everyone, especially you mom." She told Santana, who immediately blushed. "No offense momma."
"None taken." Brittany smiled.
"Me?" Santana asked quickly.
"Yes, you." Madison laughed. "You are the sweetest person ever when I'm pregnant, you help out with the kids, and like I told you a few days ago I'm having a hard time not being around my mom. It's good being around family, I love simply walking out of the house and being around Grammy, or Hannah, and I know when I need a hug I can come in here and you are waiting with open arms. We are okay in the pool house." She conformed. "We have privacy when we need it, and I love being close to everyone right now."
"Okay." Santana smiled, wiping a tear away. "You got me all emotional and shit. Stuff! Emotional and stuff." She clarified glancing at Raven, who was staring at her.
"Sweet what's for dinner?" Noah asked with a big smile.
Brittany rolled her eyes. "Whatever you cook."
"Okay, I'll get the boys together and we'll cook." Noah confirmed. "You ladies have the night off." He winked, standing up and reaching for Hendrix, "elt's go find your uncles."
Santana reached over and hugged Madison tightly as Ashton walked in the room, "hey everyone this is Blaze."
Brittany looked up quickly with a warm smile as Santana's face hardened into a glare.
