Series 3, Episode 4, pt 2 ~ House of Hieroglyphs
"YOU!" Victor's shout caused the four Anubis students to turn to face him. "you will stay here." He ordered them all, "Mr Sweet will round up the rest of the Anubis residents. Nobody will leave until I have my parcel, and when I find out who has taken it, they will be removed this school."
Where everyone else looked worried, Camilla rolled her eyes at the man's dramatics.
"By gods, Victor you are becoming more dramatic by the day," the female twin instantly quipped back to the man's threat, knowing full well when it came to her (and Fabian) it was nothing more than words. There was still so much her guardian had to teach her, about her history and her magic usage. He wouldn't jeopardise that just because of some stupid package that had gone 'missing'... or taken by Alfie but the girl wasn't a tell-tale, she wasn't going to tell the older gentleman that.
Victor turned to the girl with a scowl on his face, biting his tongue slightly to stop himself from retorting as she tilted her head and smiled innocently back at him, swaying slightly on her heeled boots as she did, acting as if she had no cares in the world. A fact The Guardian knew to be false, but the young Protector was very good at hiding it that for a second, he almost believed her lie too.
Thankfully the bell rang just as Mr Sweet herded the remaining Anubis House residents into the lounge. Victor stepped back and gestured to the hallway, "Line up." He ordered.
Without any complaints, though a bemused eye roll came from Camilla, the students hurried past him into the hallway lining up with girls on one side and boys on the other.
Victor walked down the line looking at each student individually, inspecting their faces for guilt, Mr Sweet watching over them all too with his arms crossed trying to look as intimidating, but the red poke-a-dot bowtie was really ruining the effect for him.
"I am missing a parcel." Victor informed them all, "it was addressed to me and delivered to Anubis House."
"We don't know where your precious delivery is." Joy sassed the man clearly rather annoyed that she had been pulled from class for this.
"Then we shall have something of a wait," Victor replied to the girl watching as the residents of the house all groaned slightly.
Willow, who was stood next to Amber at the end of the line, gasped excitedly looking around at the housemates. "cool, you know I love hanging with these guys." She wistfully informed the grumpy caretaker getting smiling faces from the students around her as Victor took in the strawberry blonde for the first time. Clearly unsure of how to handle her.
Mr Sweet glanced to Willow in surprise, "but you are not a resident of Anubis House," he told the girl.
Willow smiled at him, playfully, "I know. I just love the whole Anubis vibe... I mean we never have fun or stuff like this at our house."
"I wouldn't call this fun... more like a pain in the ass. I keep thinking there are so many lockers, bag and bedroom checks Vicky can do in the year but he keeps managing to push the number up every term," Camilla spoke up causing laughter and murmured agreements from her housemates.
"Camilla not now," Victor told the girl with a sigh, before turning to the girl at the end of the line-up. Talking to her like she was a stray puppy. "out."
Willow, however, didn't follow the order. Instead, she looked at Victor curiously, "out odd-job man isnt funny like you."
Camilla let out a low whistle at Willow's words, and she wasn't the only one who glanced at Victor to see his reaction.
"Get Out!" Victor screamed, his temper getting the better of him, the volume of his shout, causing them all to jump slightly. "I am not an Odd-Job man!" the man adjusted his coat as he gathered himself, watching Willow grab her bag and scarper down the hallway, "I am a domestic Maintenance Manager."
"Hell, yeah, you are!" Camilla cheered on her Guardian fist-pumping the air and letting out a laugh, the rest of the housemates joining not being able to hold in their laughter for much longer.
The laughter from them all but Camilla stopped as Victor turned around to glare at them all again. The girl lowering her fist, causing Victor to roll his eyes at her antics. Only Camilla would not take this seriously, and that was his own doing for letting the girl see him in his softer, quieter moments. She no longer saw him as an intimidating figure like the rest of the house mostly did.
As he past Camilla, however, walking back up the line, he did give her the smallest of smiles. Her encouragement was something he could admit was nice to hear, even if he could only show his appreciation for a blink of an eye before his scowl curled back onto his face.
Before he could say anything else a familiar ringtone to everyone in Anubis house rang out, causing Alfie's eyes to widen as they all looked his way, confused the noise was coming from him, not Amber's school bag.
Amber's eyes narrowed as she looked to her boyfriend across from her, "is that my phone?" she asked instantly.
Alfie pretended to be confused as he looked into his inside blazer pocket, pulling out Amber's pink iPhone, "oh yeah... I must have picked it up -"
"I'll take that!" Victor growled, grabbing the phone from the boy before Amber could snatch it from his hand. Amber looking horrified, before sending a glare to Alfie. How could he get her phone taken off him? Amber then looked to Camilla who stood beside her, her best friend nodding her head slightly to the girl causing Amber to relax a little. At least Camilla could get the phone back.
Jerome watched the exchange between Amber and Camilla; his eyes softening slightly. Camilla would do anything for the people she loved, from small things like stealing back an iPhone to big things like taking Nina's place to tumble into a dark unknown. He'd forgotten how much he admired that about her, even if it was a trait that caused him so much worry too when it came to the girl. There was a small cough, and the boy ripped his eyes away from the girl opposite him, the girl who always got his attention when she walked in a room, to see Mara glaring at him.
"do you think maybe we could get this over and done with?" Jerome pipped looking to Victor away from Mara's angry gaze.
"You may leave as soon as I have my property." Victor told them all, "so, who has it? Hmm?"
Amber and Camilla looked to Fabian and Alfie in worry. Fabian's eyes widening at the girl's reactions as he realised that somehow Amber and Camilla were involved with the parcel stealing.
"You boy!" Fabian's head turned as Victor singled him out, "Have you seen my parcel?"
"what?" Fabian looked at the man and shook his head, "no."
"Give me your bag," Victor demanded.
"oh..."
"Give!" before Fabian could say anything else, Victor had ripped the rucksack from Fabian's shoulders. The twin to the bag that was currently by Camilla's feet. Fabian looking to his sister with an annoyed look as Victor started to rummage through his bag. "Mr Sweet, please search his locker," Victor ordered, Mr Sweet rushing forward towards Fabian's locker. Glancing over it with a curious gaze but not rummaging through it like Victor was doing the boy's bag. Knowing he needed to allow his students some privacy.
KT looked to Eddie and whispered, "they are searching us, you and Cam can sneak out and get the key." She told the boy.
"he just made an entire speech about not leaving," Eddie hissed back at the girl in shock at what she was asking him to do. Until he felt a ball of paper appear in his hand. The boy looked down at it, opening it up to see Camilla's familiar neat small writing and the words ' let's do this'. He glanced up at Camilla, instantly seeing the girls mischievous smile; KT wasn't the only one thinking about using the man's distraction as a way to get the key back.
"you're not going to find your parcel in my bag nor my locker," Fabian told the man.
"do not speak back to me,"
"no that's Cam's job," Fabian countered rather snappily.
"here I was hoping your behaviours was going to improve Fabian, now that your American girlfriend was gone." Victor harshly told the boy, "but evidently not. She was a very bad influence on you, on all of you." He added, looking around at the housemates listening into his words.
Fabian's eyes flashed dangerously at the man's words, his anger getting the better of him, but with one look from his sister, he bit back the retort he was going to say.
"I'm sure she would be very proud of your pathetic defiance." Victor spat at them all as he glared at the students surrounding him.
"you know what, I think she would." Camilla snapped slightly getting rather annoyed with Victor though her eyes were darting around looking for an excuse for her and Eddie to exit, "what do you think Fabian."
"oh totally, anything to show everyone here your true colours at how pathetic you are acting right now." Fabian agreed happily lacing his anger into his words, not missing the way Camilla was looking around and hoping he could give her the exit she was so clearly looking for.
Victor glared at Camilla but didn't say anything as a stormed up to Fabian. He was used to sass from Camilla, but Fabian had never shown him so much disrespect before.
"but the thing is Vicky, Nina wasn't the real mastermind behind everything she did..." Camilla stepped out from her line and winked at Eddie before turning to Victor, hearing Eddie step out behind her.
"Because Cam dared me to steal your package." Eddie finished for the girl, watching Camilla slowly back up towards him, further and further from Victors. They only had one chance to make a runner to the house, and Eddie could only hope the girl could sprint in the heels she had on without breaking an ankle.
The Anubis Housemates who knew the pair well looked between Eddie and Camilla, knowing instantly the two were lying but why was the question on everyone's lips, not that anyone dared to utter it.
"Guys..." KT gasped realising what the pair were doing for her. For her grandfather. They were putting themselves on the line for her Key. She could only hope it was worth it.
Mr Sweet looked to Eddie in shock from where he stood by Fabian's locker, "Eddie?"
"it's in my room. I've had it the whole time." Eddie lied smoothly the moment Camilla was next to him.
Victor growled slightly looking between the pair; there was something more going on, something he was missing but what he did not know. "Then I suggest the two of you go and get it." The man's eyes landed on Camilla who quirked an eyebrow at him, "and Eddison..." he added looking to the boy, "we shall discuss your punishment later. Camilla... I suspect you already know your punishment."
"I'll look out my favourite gardening gloves," Camilla told the man sweetly, causing Fabian to let out a snort slightly which he managed to pull off as an extreme coughing fit. Camilla grabbed Eddie's arm at Fabian's distraction and tugged him down the hallway.
They didn't have much time; this was their only shot at getting the Key from Victor's office.
The speed the pair got to the house was impressive, especially in the killer heels Camilla was rocking Eddie couldn't help but look at the girl in awe as she raced up the stairs two at a time slightly out of breath her eyes on Victor's office door. Clearly focused on the mission at hand to let something like a pair of heels stop her.
"Pretentious," Camilla spoke confidently as she placed a hand on the door, the area where she touched glowing red before the door flew open. Eddie smiling slightly as Camilla moved to one side to let him run into the room. Only for the two of them to come face to face with Trudy who was holding black bags who had let out a small scream of shock as the door burst open.
"oh it's only you two," she laughed kindly at the pair, "perfect timing, you couldn't give me a hand, could you?" she asked handing Eddie two black bags.
"We... have to wait for Victor..." Camilla called after the woman as she bustled past them towards the stairs.
"he said in his office," Eddie added weakly, holding the black rubbish bag away from him in disgust.
"oh, I'm sure he won't mind you lending a hand, to a damsel in distress Eddie." Trudy told the pair with a bring smile, before she rushed down the stairs, "just leave them at the bottom!"
Eddie groaned slightly before rushing after Trudy, Camilla pushing open the door to the room and stepping inside trying not to gag as an awful smell hit her, causing her to cover her nose and mouth with the sleeve of her jumper. What had Victor been up too in here?
Eddie was quick to join the girl, Camilla turning around as he let out a gasp and joined her in covering his nose and mouth at the horrible smell.
"Okay Corbierre," Camilla whispered to the bird tapping his beak fondly with her finger as Eddie rushed around to Victor's desk, "where has he hidden it?"
"How can you tell you've lived in Anubis house too long?" Eddie jokingly turned to the girl stroking the bird, "you start talking to stuffed birds."
Camilla shook her head with a small smile at her antics before rushing around the room to do her own searching. Her eyes landing on a collection of books she had never seen before stacked up in a corner. Almost purposefully pushed out of sight. They reminded her of the grimoires Victor was using to teach her magic, but these looked older. Their covers rich colours of red and navy with golden faded writing she couldn't quite read.
"Key Cabinet..." Eddie gasped suddenly causing Camilla's attention to turn back to him and their search. Watching the boy jump up from Victor's chair and rush over to the cabinet looking at it before shaking his head at the girl.
"WHO LEFT THESE BAGS HERE?"
Victor's bellow caused the teenagers to glance at one another in panic. They didn't have any time left.
"OH, NOT AGAIN!" Trudy screamed, "Eddie and Camilla are waiting for you upstairs... just... just go!"
Eddie ran to the door and locked it as they heard Victor race up the stairs, the boy leaning against the door as an extra precaution as Camilla raced to the desk and started to throw open drawers, frantically searching through them. Not bothering to read any of the papers she saw on her hunt for the key.
"What?" Victor could be heard murmuring on the other side of his office door before he started to rattle on the door handle. "Edison! Camilla-Anne! Open this door!"
Both Eddie and Camilla flinched at the use of their actual names, Eddie pleading for Camilla to hurry her search with his eyes.
"I can't believe in phoneless." Amber mourned slightly as she and Alfie joined Fabian in the student lounge. "how am I going to cope?"
"you can have mine?" Alfie offered pulling out his phone from his pocket and handing it to her.
Amber smiled at him, clearly smitten, "oh, that's so sweet." She took the phone from him and looked at it, "although, I guess, it is your fault mine got taken off me in the first place."
Alfie sighed and looked to Fabian who kept glancing to the entrance to the student lounge in worry, which was to be expected. Victor was on a rampage, and Camilla had dived headfirst into the firing line.
"I don't get why Eddie would say he had Victor's parcel..." Alfie spoke out loud to the pair. He understood why Camilla would take the blame she was protecting them, that was kind of her thing, but Eddie, he was confused about that.
Fabian looked to the pair, "and where does Victor get off saying that stuff about Nina. 'A bad influence' – she's not a bad influence, Camilla has been more of a bad influence on my life than Nina ever could be."
Amber grinned, she knew the moment Victor had dissed Nina Fabian was back on team Sibuna. "you're in, aren't you?"
"of course, I'm in, I've been in since the moment I knew Cam was in... like I'd let her walk into danger yet again this year." Fabian smiled at the pair.
Amber celebrated slightly, "this is going to be so cool."
"does stuff like this happen at Fashion school?" Alfie added, "I don't think so!"
"Alfie, I'm not going to Fashion school," Amber murmured looking away sadly, Alfie's face falling as he noticed the look that washed across Amber's expression.
"Business as usual then with Victor this term then," Patricia joked as she walked into the student lounge throwing her bag into the heap that was Alfie and Fabian's bags. Joy laughing at her words as she settled herself next to her best friend.
"I have to have it out with him," Amber informed the girls, "he has to understand I'm lost without my phone."
"and Eddie and Cam with Victor's package? That's a total lie, right?" Joy questioned looked at them all.
Amber looked to Alfie and Fabian before turning to the girls, "I think it's time we told you guys what's actually going on..."
Joy and Patricia looked to one another curiously.
"Cam hurry the hell up!" Eddie hissed to Camilla as Victor pounded on the locked office door.
"Oh yes," Camilla sassed back at her friend looking up at him from over the desk, "because I'm just back here knitting a scarf and not searching for the bloody key... oh wait!"
Eddie rolled his eyes at her comment, watching the girl go back to the search.
"If you two do not open this door this instant," Victor screamed, "I will be forced to get my tools..."
"I-I can't..." Eddie lied, pretending to try to open the door from the other side.
"What do you mean, you can't?!"
"the door... it must have accidentally locked when you grabbed it?!" Eddie lied once again, shrugging slightly as Camilla giving him a questioning look. "I swear!"
"OPEN THIS DOOR!" Victor bellowed.
"Hold on, just one minute!" Eddie screamed back, watching as Camilla ducked out of sight once again.
On her knees, the girl opened the last drawer in Victor's desk, the moment her hand touched the handle an echoing voice filled her head.
"That symbol," KT's voice echoed as if in some dream state, "it's just like the key..."
"try it." Came Eddie's voice.
"you do not tell me what will happen, boy!" Victor threatened Eddie through the door, bringing Camilla back to reality with wide eyes. "what on earth are you two doing in there,"
"hold on!" Eddie called, looking to Camilla in worry, "I'm trying to unlock the door!" Eddie's voice lowered as he looked at Camilla, "the house is trying to tell us something..."
Camilla shook her head at him, now was not the time, and threw open the drawer, now was not the time to be getting strange voices. They needed to find the key. She rifled through the drawer until she found a small metallic shape. Grabbing it, she lifted it in the air for Eddie to see she had found the key. The boy letting out a little celebratory scream before watching Camilla get to her feet, pocketing the key in her leather jacket. Now all the pair had to do was try it think up a convincing lie to where the supposed package was for Victor.
"if you do not open this door, I will break it down!" Victor bellowed just in time for Eddie to throw open the door. The man looking over the teenagers who smiled back at him innocently.
"I eh..." Eddie paused, trying to think up a lie, "I flipped the latch over by mistake..." he laughed slightly Camilla joining in, both teens trailing off at the unamused look Victor sent them both.
"oh, two are going to be very sorry for this," Victor threatened, only getting a scared look from one of the teens the female one just crossing her arms at him as if she was bored. "but first, The Parcel" with that he held his hand out to Eddie waiting for the boy to hand him what he wanted.
Eddie glanced to Camilla in worry, knowing she couldn't do anything magical not with Victor so close and unknown to him, with Victor knowing what she could do.
"T-The Parcel..."
"you have a choice here Edison," Victor threatened the boy, "either hand it over and pay the price for stealing, or do not hand it over and pay the price for stealing and lying."
Thankfully as the pair tried to think of a way to get out of the situation, they found themselves in a hero came in the form of KT who rushed up the stairs with a parcel wrapped in her hand. "Victor..." she softly spoke in fear, trying not to flinch when the man turned his glare on her. "I've got it. I found it under Eddie's laundry, which is yuck by the way," she looked around Victor towards the pair by the door to the office, Victor rushing forward and taking the parcel from KT. "I hate people who take things that don't belong to them." She added looking pointedly at Victor who missed the jab towards him from the girl, but Camilla didn't as a smirk appeared on her face.
They were in the clear, Victor had his parcel... or a parcel and KT's key was snuggly sat in Camilla's jacket pocket.
"At last..." Victor whispered in awe of the parcel, before looking to the pair in the doorway of his office. "which just leaves us with the question of what to do with you?" Causing Camilla to roll her eyes, "the correct punishment for you both would be expulsion, but I highly doubt the Rutter family would allow it, and we still have..." Victor trailed off looking to Camilla before turning his gaze to Eddie, "so as a favour to your father, Edison, I will simply keep you here and make you suffer. Every single move, I'll be watching you two." He threatened the pair.
This time Camilla took the threat seriously, her own scowl on her face as she met Victor's gaze straight on. The last thing she needed was Victor hovering over her shoulder whilst she tried to help KT.
With that Victor dismissed the pair with a wave of his hand, Eddie grabbing Camilla's hand and all but pulling her from the room towards KT. The three not speaking until they heard Victor's office door slam shut, Camilla's gaze falling on it in curiously. What was so important in the package that Victor was going to such lengths? Why did Victor need a bracelet? What was her mentor up too?
She felt someone tug on her hand and looked around to see Eddie pulling her down the stairs, Camilla sent him a small smile and allowed the boy to led her away. Neither of them letting go of the other, needing a little reassurance after what they had just dealt with.
"Hey," Camilla whispered to KT, using her free hand to pull the key from her jacket and hand it to the girl.
"Oh, you guys did it!" KT exclaimed happily.
"you were great," Eddie whispered back to her as they rushed down the stairs cheerfully.
"And so if you turn to your textbooks," Mr Sweet told the class as he walked around the room, all of whom was slowly drifting off before his very eyes, "you will find further insights into the science of hibernation and the amazing bodily processes it involves."
"I can't concentrate," Joy whispered to the Sibuna's around her table, all the team bar Camilla who had taken up her normal seat next to Eddie, the pair playing hangman once again in Eddie's jotter. The pair getting better and better at making the hung man look like Mr Sweet with every class the man taught.
"I'm too excited."
"Call me boring," Patricia pipped up, from next to Joy, "but it'd like maybe one year without a life-threatening situation."
"I think I've gotten myself into one of those already," Alfie mumbled to Patricia quietly glancing to his girlfriend across the table.
"With The Protector in our mix," Amber told the goth, missing Alfie's comment, glancing to her best friend on the table next to them with a proud gaze, "do you think that is ever going to happen?"
Joy let out a small laugh at Amber's comment before her eyes fell on the male half of the twins next to her. The boy's gaze focused on the papyrus paper he had snuck into this textbook. "Hey," she nudged Fabian, causing the boy to look up at her, "I'd love to help you with the hieroglyphics."
"Yeah?" Fabian seemed surprised someone would want to help, causing Joy to nod her head and Fabian smiled warmly at the girl, "Yeah, yeah, I'd like that."
"great," Joy smiled back at the boy, "I love it when things go totally Sibuna."
"No, Joy," Fabian corrected, "like I said, there's not Sibuna without Nina."
"I told you, dad..." Eddie said loudly causing the Sibuna table to turn round to see Mr Sweet looking at Eddie and Camilla, Camilla not too subtly leaning on the jotter the two were drawing in trying to hide the pages, "it was just a big misunderstanding."
"Oh, good, good." Mr Sweet smiled at the pair, before looking around at the class, "as I was saying, the slowing down of the body's systems..."
Patricia narrowed her eyes as she watched KT whisper something to Eddie from his opposite side, causing the boy to look up and grin at her. Camilla glancing at the pair also with a knowing smile. Patricia frowned how could Camilla encourage KT and Eddie, she was meant to be her friend who was meant to be on her side. She was on Camilla's side with the whole Jara situation.
Eddie looked up as he felt eyes on him, ignoring KT and Camilla's whisperings about how to shade in Mr Sweet's bowtie on the drawing to look around and instantly caught Patricia's eye, a small loving smile creeping onto his face as he did. Patricia, however, looked away, causing the boy's smile to drop as fast as it appeared on his face.
The bell-ringing loudly causing all the students to look at one another gratefully. Fabian joining in Patricia's glances towards the odd trio as he watched his sister pick up the jotter and playfully hit Eddie across the head with it, causing KT to throw her head back laughing as Eddie turned round to look at the pair with a bemused look.
"oh no..." Joy groaned.
This was enough of a distraction for the pair to turn their heads towards her.
"What's wrong?" Patricia asked instantly at her friends' distress.
"My family tree, it's not here." She told the girl looking up from her school bag.
"Okay nerd, you win this one." Eddie laughed throwing an arm around Camilla's shoulder's in a brotherly way causing a smirk to form on Camilla's face, "lunch is on me today, but I will win one of these games."
"so, you say every biology class Jerk face, and you never do." Camilla countered with a laugh as they exited the room.
KT's laughter at the odd sibling banter between her new friends faded as she noticed Mara as she closed Jerome's locker and smiled up at the boy after a glance to Camilla, Eddie and KT. The female twin frowning slightly as she tried to battle that green-eyed monster that reared its head at the sight of the two whispering together.
"Come on Cam... we've had a win today, we don't need to get ourselves into another problem because you set Mara's hair on fire," Eddie whispered into the girls' ear.
Before Camilla could respond, Alfie came darting from behind them and split the pair whispering pair up with a frantic whisper to Jerome before pulling him away from Mara. Winking to Eddie and KT as he passed before the serious look crossed his face again.
Eddie trying not to laugh slightly as he pulled Camilla down the corridor, KT on his other side sharing a knowing smile with the boy. The pair might be blind to it, but he knew Jerome and Camilla would soon be together if the Anubis Housemates had anything to do with it. He just felt slightly sorry for Mara because she would get the brunt of it all until the pair did.
So, to distract his little sister he decided to talk about his own failed relationship and how confused he now was with it all, "have you noticed Patricia's been giving me some really weird looks all day?" he asked the girls as the trio walked into the student lounge.
This time it was Camilla and KT's turn to share a knowing look.
"you two have seen them, right?"
"don't we have more important things to worry about?" KT asked the pair, confused how with a great evil approaching the two could be so focused on their love life's. "like the key, and what we're going to do next?" she added excitedly getting smiles from The Protector and The Osirian.
"Okay, we keep trying it on different doors, I guess," Eddie whispered.
Camilla rolling her eyes at him, "oh and here I thought we'd just stare at it," she sarcastically quipped as Eddie lifted his arm from her shoulders so they could sit down on one of the couches. Camilla tucking her legs under her.
"Since you two were pretty amazing today, we'll go with Eddie's plan," KT laughed along with Camilla.
Eddie smirked, "I was pretty impressive."
Camilla scoffed, "I think I did most of the work; you were totally my sidekick."
"I am no one's sidekick!"
Camilla patted Eddie's head condescendingly, "keep telling yourself that."
KT laughed loudly as she watched the pair interact before bringing the topic back, "we're all good as long as nobody else has the key, nothing bad can happen," She patted her pocket telling them she was keeping it close, "right?"
"Right." The Osirian/ Protector duo spoke as one confidently as they turned to look at the girl.
"Oh, KT!" The three turned their heads at the voice, seeing Joy rush into the room. "you didn't pick up my family tree, earlier did you?" she asked breathily.
"no..." KT shook her head at the girl, "I left it on the chair."
"Great." Joy hissed clearly trying to mask a panic in her voice but failing. "now Miss Denby will find it, and I will be in trouble."
"Sorry... this is my fault," KT told the girl, before looking at Eddie and Camilla who were pulling faces at one another and an idea popping into her head. "I'll wing by Miss Denby's and get it back." She promised the girl, "she probably hasn't even noticed. If not, I'll use my very own superheroes to distract her."
"who?"
KT glanced to Camilla and Eddie causing Joy to laugh, "these two? Good luck..." with that she waved at her new friend before hurrying off.
"Why did you sign us up for this?" Camilla asked with a groan as KT held her hand out to pull Camilla to her feet, the girl taking it and standing with a groan before letting KT pull her away down the corridor towards the classroom.
KT went straight to her chair whilst Camilla turned to the whiteboard to draw rude pictures. "it's not here." KT groaned, turning around just as Eddie wandered into the room and Camilla stepped back from her handy work.
"It has to be here," Camilla turned looking confused.
"why would my dad hate family trees?" Eddie asked the two girls in the room, "that doesn't make sense."
KT's eyes landed on Miss Denby's bag as Camilla shrugged at Eddie's question. "what do you when things get confiscated here?" KT asked the pair as she wandered over to the bag. "Just steal it back... right?"
The two looked at her understanding what she was hinting at, but did she really want them to go hunting through a teacher's bag just for some stupid family tree project?
"Denby's bag?" Eddie questioned clearly thinking the same as Camilla.
KT nodded her head at them.
Eddie sighed and walked into the room hunting through it half-heartedly not expecting to find anything until he felt something cool and metallic that defiantly wasn't a set of car keys.
"Guys... What's this?"
Pulling his hand out, he let out a gasp, followed by KT and Camilla as they set their eyes on what he had found in the bag. Things had just gotten a lot weirder around here.
