A month passed by, just as Sonoko said, she supported Ran. She is 3 months pregnant and as promised, Sonoko accompanied her to her check-up and always cheering her up. Ran was also forced to wear bidding to hide her belly from her classmates, Conan and Kogoro. But they still need an adult's presence, so they decided to tell Ran's mother, Eri Kisaki. They visited her apartment.

"You want to talk about something, right? That's why you here." Eri started which startled Ran and Sonoko.

"Ran here, is going to tell something, Kisaki-san." Sonoko said while holding Ran's shoulder, ushering her to tell her.

"Well? What it is, Ran? About that husband of mine?" Eri said flatly.

"No. It's not about Dad. It's about me. I.. uhmm… I'm pregnant and Shinichi is the father!" Ran finished her statement in one blow. Seeing Eri's glasses glow up, Ran and Sonoko shook up.

"You're pregnant. Where is Shinichi-kun?" Eri said as she stood up from her seat. Sonoko stood in front of Ran to protect but got scared when Eri walked towards them. Then they heard her cry, "I'm going to be a grandmother." She then hugged Ran as she cried.

"I'm sorry Mom, I know that I'm too young and I've wasted it." Ran cried.

"It's okay Ran. I'm here. We're here to support you." Eri comforted.

Ran and Sonoko explained to her that Shinichi is gone for some case so that it will be hard for them to call him. They also told her about the biddings to hide her belly from her classmates, her father, and Conan. Eri cried because Ran had to go through that at such a young age, but she is thankful that Sonoko is with her. Ran also show her the ultrasound and her belly to her. Ran was glad because her mother accepted her and Sonoko is with her.

"Why don't you live here? Or go to America to your grandmother's house. You can go homeschooling. I know some good private teachers here and in America. You can easily move around, no more hiding. No more biddings. It's bad for the baby, you know." Eri scolded.

"But how about dad and Conan?" Ran asked worriedly.

"I can handle your dad. Why don't you tell Conan-kun? He can be trusted." Eri asked.

"You know Conan-kun is still a child. I don't him to get involved. He can live with Hakase because for sure dad won't take care of him. Also, I don't like him to see his Ran-neechan getting in this situation. I don't know how to face him..." Ran mumbled as her eyes soften.

Ran agreed to Eri's offer to live with her. That night, Eri and Sonoko went with Ran to the Mouri's agency. Kogoro and Conan were confused about why they are here. While they are talking, Ran quickly packed her things and Conan's things as well and put it in her mother's car while Conan's things were put in Sonoko's car. Conan noticed that something is up so quietly sneaked out but to his surprise, Sonoko blocked the door.

"Oyy, what's going on here? Are you two planning something?" Kogoro shouted. The two girls just stared at them while smirking.

"Ne, where's Ran-neechan?" Conan said, tucking into Eri's skirt. Eri smiled and bend down to Conan's level. "Don't worry Conan-kun, she will be right back." Then the door opened revealing Ran. She quickly went to the kitchen to prepared dinner. Eri helped her make dinner while Sonoko is keeping an eye on the two boys.

After eating dinner, Ran washed the dishes and went to the office where all of them were present.

"Let's start talking. I know something is up." Kogoro said as he lit up a cigarette.

"Anata, I'm sorry but I'm taking her now. This will be her last dinner spending with you." Eri said.

"W-what are talking about? Why all the sudden? Ran go talk!" Kogoro demanded but Ran just lowered her head, avoiding his gaze.

"It's true that. I will be living with mom now. It's for the best." She muttered.

"Why is that Ran-neechan? Are you still sick?" Conan said worriedly.

"She's not sick Conan-kun. It's just that —" Sonoko interrupted when Eri covered her mouth. "I decided that she will be living with me. Seeing that she's the only one doing the household chores, now I know why she looks tired. I don't like her studies to be affected."

"But she never told me anything." Kogoro protested.

"That's why I'm taking her." Eri said coldly which froze Kogoro.

"M-mom…" Ran mumbled but Eri pulled out her hand and headed to the door.

"We will be going now. And Conan-kun, your things were already packed too. You will be staying at Agasa's house. Sonoko's driver will take you there. Goodbye Conan-kun. Goodbye dear." She said flatly as the three ladies went out.

"You can leave me, brat. Thank you for the time we've spent together." Kogoro said flatly to Conan, ushering him to the door. With that, Conan had no choice but to leave the Mouri agency and went to Hakase's house.

At Agasa's house:

"Shinichi! Why are you here with your stuff?" Agasa asked, glancing at his things.

"What's this? What did you do to the girl at the detective agency, you pervert?" Haibara commented making Conan blushed. He hasn't told them about their passionate and he's not gonna tell them.

"What's she talking about Shinichi?" Agasa asked again.

"I didn't do anything to her! What do you mean by pervert?" Conan defended.

"When Kaitou Kid disguise as you, Hakase, he thought that he was disguising as Ran-san. Then he peeked at her underwear." Haibara explained.

"Shinichi! What on earth are you doing?" Agasa scolded, disappointed at him.

"Alright! I'm sorry! But I think Ran has other problems that's why she left the Mouri agency and live with her mother." Conan explained.

That night the three of them went to sleep.

At Mouri agency:

Alone in the house, Kogoro opened his phone only to find a message from Eri.

"We need to talk."
