"We'll continue our plans as usual."

Erika nodded. I went over to get myself a cup of coffee. This was going to be another uneventful day. As the day progressed I stared outside admiring the sunlight. By now I had completed several tasks and I figured I wanted to enjoy myself while I still could. I felt my watch vibrate. Another intruder. When will they ever learn? A loud rapping on my door could be heard.

"Miss Director. I thought I'd let you know that-"

"Yeah I know. Someone's snooping around where they shouldn't be."

"It's not just that."

What could she mean? I opened the door.

"Here's our security feed." The B-rank surveillance member handed over her tablet and pressed a Play button. I watched intently, then my eyes widened.

"Do you have a thermal scanning?"

"Not yet. We're still working on that one."

"I see." An ideal came to my head.

"Cancel the alarm."

"But Director-"

"I said cancel it."

"Yes Ma'am."

As the B-rank surveillance member left to turn off the alarm I picked up the rotary phone in my room and spun the dial a couple of times.

"Hi, this is the Director. I'm calling in regards to the current location of…"

24 minutes later a C-rank girl came knocking at my door.

"Miss Director? You wanted to see me?"

"Yes. Have a seat."

The C-rank girl stood hesitantly.

"Okay, don't. Do you know why I've called you here?"

The C-rank girl gulped.

"By your silence I presume you know why. Not only have you failed me once, you've done so twice. I've been more lenient with you than any other of my minions. Truth be told, you were supposed to have died back there. But you know what? I believe we can make an arrangement. Yes, I'll look over your slights if you do this one thing for me."

The C-rank girl nodded.

"No doubt you're aware of the intruder on our premise right? I want you to go investigate it."

The C-rank girl looked with an intrigued face.

"Take a small a platoon of 23 bots with you and equip yourself into your battle mech."

The C-rank girl said nothing.

"I'll be waiting."

With a nod the C-rank girl left. Stroking my Brooch the corners of lips curled upwards as I closed my eyes.

"Madame Director? Is something going on?" Duusu asked me.

"Oh yes." I started to head over to the observatory deck. "Something is going on. And if my hunches are correct this may be our opportunity."

"For what?"

I simply smiled.

"There's another Miraculous holder here besides Erika and I have the feeling I know who it is."

Duusu nodded.

"Who else can turn themselves invisible?"

"Oh I don't know. There's more than one way to turn yourself invisible. You don't need a Miraculous for that."

"Perhaps, but this isn't something I can ignore." I climbed up the stairs. This was the moment. It's been a while since I've done this, but I'm certain I've mastered it by now. Entering the observatory deck I made a few adjustments to the room.

"Duusu! Spread my feathers!"

A brilliant flash of blue erupted from my feet. I closed my eyes and smiled as my kwami entered his Miraculous. As the energy coursed up my legs I took a step to my right without changing my direction, performed a ballerina twirl and I placed my right foot down I unfolded a feather fan.

Meanwhile outside the Society's hidden base:

Code Red! Code Red! Code Red!

The C-rank girl looked with horror as platoon after platoon of bots laid being destroyed by some invisible force. Having learned from her last encounter she had opted to separate them instead of grouping them. But whoever this force of nature was, even that wasn't enough. She banged at her keyboard.

Damn! Was this it? Was she going to die here? No! She couldn't. She had much to live for. If she lost now, how would the others remember her? Her battle frame made a huge leap.

The invisible intruder must be nearby, I know it. But where?

Outside Yeou Lujeu had just finished decimating 16 platoons. He sighed. How could the Society be here as well? No matter. Once he tracked them down he would have them brought to custody. Now it was just the matter of locating their base.

As Yeou Lujeu fought a feather drifted by. Having been caught up fighting the bots he hadn't noticed it flutter closer to him. Not that he would've noticed as he was too preoccupied. The wind blew and the feather drifted to another section of the forest.

A text message appeared. Seeing that it was the Director, the C-rank girl opened and read the message sent to her.

She wants me to open the ventilation shaft in my battle mech and have the air circulate inwards. Says I should be expecting something to arrive. Also says I need to have an object on my person. I quickly pick up a diamond stone and did as she instructed me to. Moments later I saw a blue feather entered. It disturbed me, but I figured this was what she was talking about. I saw it come closer to the diamond stone I was holding. Then it entered it.

"I see you are having some difficulty."

"Director? What are you doing in my head?"

"That's called telepathy. A neat skill my Miraculous possess. I'm here to offer you some help."

"And that would be?"

"Imagine a creature that can help you in your current predicament."

Hmm. Let's see. I'm up against someone who can't be seen with the naked eye, moves at nearly lightening speed. I would need to be able to track fast movements, I would need- a bird!

"Good. Now whatever you do, don't drop that diamond stone you are holding"

"Huh?"

Outside the C-rank girl's battle mech the Fox Miraculous superhero was down to the last 3 platoons. In a matter of seconds he would be ready to take on the battle mech that had deployed them here. Once he toppled it, he would then interrogate the Society member inside. He had made a mistake letting the last one go. This time he would make sure he got some answers.

There you are.

Yeou Lujeu rushed forwards leapt and as his foot left the ground he saw a cloud of blue bubble nearby the battle mech.

"Aaaugh!"

Yeou Lujeu flew towards a couple of trees. He had been hit. But how? He was supposed to be invisible and with his speed to match there was no way any of those machines could've caught up to him, not to mention even if they had they shouldn't have been able to cause him pain. Using psychokinesis on himself he stabilized his trajectory. This time he saw it.

"Caw caw caw!"

A bird's joined the Society? What kind of joke is this? Wait. How did it know I was here? Oh shit! Here it comes again. I make a side hop at 6:33. A turret of bullets flies my way. I dodged and see the huge blue cross between a macaw and an eagle swoop towards me again. Jumping forward I felt a hard knock at the back of my head. My face covered in the ground I looked up before being pecked again.

"Aaugh!"

There's no doubt about it. This bird knows where I am. My illusions aren't working on it, plus it's fast enough to keep up with me. How is it giving me a hard time? Concentrating I attempted to use psychokinesis on the bird to get it off of me.

"Caw!"

The bird lifted its beak. This was my moment! I ran out but as soon as I did, the giant bird struck me with its wings like a side uppercut. As I flew into the air I attempted to use psychokinesis on myself once again to control my flight however I never got the chance as the giant bird quickly snatched me in between its talons. Then it started squeezing.

Inside the C-rank girl's battle mech.

"So I take it that giant blue bird of a cross between a macaw and an eagle which for some reason sounds like a crow is the help you were referring to?"

"Yes."

The C-rank girl smiled.

"Thank you Director. I won't fail you this time."

"That's excellent to hear. And one more thing."

"What's that?"

"When I'm in this form, you will no longer refer to me as Director."

"Do you want me to address you by your real name?"

"Far from that. Don't you ever dare. No. You will address me as Le Péon. Now take his Miraculous."

Outside the C-rank girl's battle mech Yeou Lujeu was gasping for breath. Pollen floated a good 2 meters away looking concerned.

"Ahahahaha! That's right. It's time to die you little pest. Crush him!"

"Caw!"

The blue bird of a cross between a macaw and an eagle clenched its talons even tighter. At this point the Fox Miraculous super hero started coughing out blood. Pollen glared. Her master was in danger. Even though she had been told to keep at a distance by Wayzz she could no longer oblige. Huffing she turned to face the C-rank girl's battle mech and started to float towards her.

"This is what you get for showing your enemy mercy, you chauvinistic pig! I'd love to see you ripped apart limb from limb but I'm afraid I'm pressed for time. But since you were so kind enough to show me mercy once I figured I'd turn around and do you a favor as well. Hand me your Miraculous and I'll let you live. Do me one better and bring me the Miraculous of your partner and I'll put a good word for you in. So what do you say?"

Yeou Lujeu's could only manage to gurgle. Blood started drooling out of him.

"Not much for talking, but who am I to know? Maybe we should play around a bit longer!"

The giant blue cross between a macaw threw the Fox Miraculous superhero up in the air. Because he could hardly maintain any semblance of consciousness he was unable to use any of his psychic powers. With great precision the monstrous bird slammed its beak ramming him into the ground. The C-rank girl gazed giddy. Then a small bee kwami phased right into her mech.

"Whoah! What- or you must be a kwami."

"So you know about us."

"Yeah. We've been given orders to locate guys like you. Say. Where's your Miraculous?"

"Alright, well if you'll excuse me, I have some business to attend to."

"Leave him alone."

"I'm sorry, what now?"

"I said to leave him alone."

This little kwami's annoying me.

"Who do you think you are, you little piece of-"

"Venom!"

While the C-rank girl had started to raise her voice, Pollen flew closer to the hand which held the diamond stone. She then glowed and her stinger started to vibrate. Plunging her stinger into her hand, the bee kwami injected her poison. With a sharp gasp of pain the C-rank girl dropped the diamond stone she had been holding onto. It shattered into a million pieces. A blue feather flew out and drifted outside the C-rank girl's battle mech.

Outside Yeou Lujeu laid motionless. Having withstand too much damage he could no longer hold his transformation. As his Miraculous began to start to beep signaling its countdown the shadow of a giant shoe came into view. Kaiju Plastra stared down in shock. How could someone have defeated her man? How could there be a force powerful enough to seriously injure a Miraculous holder? Scowling she took her right foot and stepped down.

Crunch.

Back at the Society's Hidden Base:

Le Péonsmiled. This had been a resounding success. Now she truly knew the extent of her newfound powers. And seeing how she had so easily trashed that sly Fox cosplayer she felt a sudden surge of confidence. Ha! No longer would she stand quivering in front of that insolent detective. If she could take down one his most staunch allies, one with power more comparable to the great psychic detective himself, what else had she to fear? It was she they should be fearing instead!

Somewhere else on Indonesia:

"This is the best we can do for him."

Narue thanked the paramedics who had arrived quickly installed a ninfirmity unit onto Chijinda. When asked why he was such critical conditions, she answered he had been ambushed and that his assailant had been especially thorough. It was only thanks to her intervention that he was still alive. The officer shook his head. How was he supposed to explain this to the Chief? Soon he and his team left via a helicopter. 2 hours passed. Narue stared anxiously.

"I'm-I'm sorry. I should've let him know being a Miraculous holder doesn't make you impervious to damage."

"No, I should've intervene earlier Trixx, the blame's on me, Pollen said."

Narue closed her eyes.

"Guys. I'm going to need your help."

"We'll do whatever we can, Miss Narue Oriku." The kwamis said unanimously.

"I'm going to try to resuscitate him. Are you kwamis good with modern day surgery?"

The kwamis looked around sheepishly. Wayzz flew forward.

"I am. Not only am I the kwami of Protection but I also cover longetividy."

"Good. We need to get to work."

And so Narue directed the kwamis. Soon they had made a makeshift life support for Chijinda. With her botanical knowledge they crafted a suave from the various local foliage. The ivy pumped through Chijinda's veins.

"Heart rate is no longer sporadic. Now we need to check his blood oxygen levels."

The kwamis then turned the dial on the monitor.

"Not looking good. He's losing oxygen quickly. Let's try stimulating his heart."

"What now?"

"You see that over there? We're going to try to raise his heart level. That should increase his breathing but it won't increase his blood-oxygen level. That's why we'll then attached this oxygen mask to his head."

"Got it."

And so the kwamis and Narue worked. She coordinated, they followed.

Please don't die on me, Chijinda You. Please just stay with me a bit longer. Narue bit her lips as sweat dripped down her forehead. This hadn't happen in such a long time. Up til this point Chijinda hardly ever need medical care, especially not at this level. But with no one around except for her, she was all he had left. To hide their identities she made sure to take both his Miraculous and have Wayzz put them into her shirt pocket while Trixx applied an illusion on her bracelet to make it disappear. Afterwards they simply just phased out so they couldn't be seen.

"Don't die Chijinda. Don't die. Don't you die on me."

The power short-circuited.

"No!"
