Stefan pov:
She was looking at me uncertainty in her eyes. Was she still doubting my affection for her? Did she still not trust me?
"Why would it matter?"
"Stefan shes your ex who has come back trying to claim you." I ran my hands over my face in frustration.
"Elena, shes nothing ... she means nothing."
"Are you sure about that?" She looked at me coldly, I knew what she was doing she was shutting me out. She was closing her heart.
"Do you still not trust me?"
"Trust is earned it's not something I can give easily."
"God elena, what will it take for you to trust me?"
"I don't know stefan, I think we should take a break."
"No, no I know what your doing your closing up, shutting me out, dont do that."
I walked closer to her and placed my hands on her warm cheeks so she could look me in the eyes.
"Please dont shut me out."
"I'm not trying to but I cant deal with these secrets."
Tears started to cascade down her beautiful cheeks.
I rested my forehead against hers and sighed.
"What do you want to know?" She looked up at me.
"Everything."
"Ok"
I sat down and she followed, sat opposite me.
"Me and katherine met in high school. She was popular, a cheerleader and I was captain of the football team." I took a deep breath.
"We were together for a while and I really loved her. My parents adored her due to her wealth and status. We were eachothers everything, together for years, my life was already set with her." I paused and looked elena in the eyes.
"We started to drift apart as we grew older, but I still loved her more than anything and I thought she felt the same. I came home one day to find her in bed with my brother. Apparently it had been going on for a while." I heard elena take a sharp intake of breath as she grabbed my hand.
"She started to date my brother but once they ended she left. That's everything."
Elena pov:
I'm such an idiot. Why do have trust issues when there is a man right in front of me who really likes me.
"Stefan... I"
"Dont worry about it."
I felt so guilty. I really didnt deserve this man.
I grabbed his hand and drew circles on it.
"I hope you know that I would never do that to you."
"Elena, I understand that you dont trust easily and that it's hard for you to open your heart but I'm here and I'm not going anywhere."
I got up and walked around and sat in his lap, enveloping him in my embrace.
After a while, I sat back in his lap and looked at his face.
"I dont deserve you."
"What?" His eyebrows furrowed.
"I dont deserve you stefan. Stefan you deserve so much more, I'm too stubborn too headstrong too..."
He placed his finger on my lips, when he removed it he kissed me passionately.
"Your not too anything."
Stefan pov:
How could this girl not see that shes perfect? How could she not know how amazing she is?
Elena looked at me with confusion. I shifted her in my lap. My arms were wrapped around her waist.
"Your not too anything elena."
"Your perfect."
She stood up and walked away blushing.
"I'm not stefan I'm anything but."
I walked over to her keeping a metre distance.
"Okay. You are stubborn. Your headstrong. Your opinionated. Some mughtbsay too much." She looked at me insulted.
"Your witty. Sassy. Feisty. Aggressive. Angry. You can be so annoying." I chuckled she just crossed her arms over her chest.
"But there all the reasons why I live you."
Her head shot up quickly. Her arms uncrossed.
She looked shocked.
I walked closer to her and placed my hands on her cheeks and looked into her eyes.
"I love you."
"To me you are perfect just the way you are. Your beautiful. Smart. Amazing. Your my security. My light. And I love you, every part of you."
She looked up at me.
"I.. I love you too." She smiled.
"You really love my flaws."
"Yes, but to me they're not flaws they're are what make you, you."
Her tears spilled down her cheeks so I wiped them away.
"Your too pretty to cry."
She chuckled. I came closer to her. Pressed my lips to hers. She quickly responded. We were standing in the diner making out.
After that we went back to mine for some alone time, it was filled with passion and love. I loved her and she loved me and that's all that mattered.
Elena pov:
Me and caroline were both in work today. I was cleaning the table whilst we were talking.
"So... he loves you."
"He says he does."
"You believe him?"
"Of course I do. He loves me and i love him."
She looked unconvinced.
"Look I know that I have my trust issues and dont get me wrong I'm still learning to open up but I do love stefan. Hes sweet and kind and he loves every part of me. He makes me laugh and he makes me feel like a better person. He really does make me happy.
"Wow."
"What?"
"You really do love him. I can see it in your face. Your eyes light up when you talk about him." I just giggled.
"Hey girls." I turned around to see bonnie.
"Hey bon."
"So ... I hear that you and stefan dropped the L word to eachother." I smiled.
"And where did you hear that?" I joked.
"Oh from a source that cant stop smiling or talking about you,stefan."
I smiled.
"So did you talk about the katherine thing."
"Yh it's all sorted."
"Good."
"Girls back to work." Our boss shouted.
"Duty calls, bye bon."
"Bye girls, oh caroline are you still coming over later."
"Yep see you there."
I was moving the boxes , they were really heavy. I was bending down when I felt a pair of hands on my hips. At first I was startled but then I recognised the hands, I instantly knew it was stefan. He pulled me back so I was standing against his chest his arms wrapped around my waist.
"Hey." I said
He kissed my ear
"Hey." He rested his face against the side of mine.
"How was your day?" He asked
"Its been ok.what about yours?"
"Boring without you."
I laughed as he turned me around in his arms.
"Well you cant always have days off" I joked.
"I suppose so."
I went on to my tip toes and kissed him.
Our noses touched once our kiss ended.
"Here let me help you."
He grabbed the boxes and moved them for me.
"Thank you, you didnt have to do that."
"I wanted to." Again he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into his embrace.
"When do you finish?"
"In 20 mins."
"Great I'll wait here then and you can come back to mine. "
"Okay."
"Dinner and a movie?"
"Sounds perfect."
We kissed until I had to serve a new table.
I've finally finished.
"Hey, ready to go."
"Yep, let me just grab my coat."
I grabbed my coat and bag.
I only just noticed that stefan was wearing a suit. He looked so hot.
Stefan grabbed my hand and intertwined them. I smiled as he brought my hand up and kissed it.
We walked back to his place hand in hand just enjoying eachother company.
When we got into his place, stefan took off my coat and hung it up.
I walked into his bedroom.
"Hey, stefan do I still have any clothes here."
"Um, I dont think so but you can borrow some of mine."
"Thank you." I kissed him.
"I'm going to take a shower."
"Do you want me to join you?" He smirked
"I'm perfectly capable of taking a shower." I joked. He walked closer to me as I started walking backwards towards the shower.
"I know I just do it so much better than you." I ran into the bathroom but he caught me and picked me up. I screamed from the shock. He started the water as he kissed me. He pulled my shirt off me as I started to shrug his suit jacket off. As we were kissing I unbuttoned his shirt. I grabbed his belt buckle and started to remove his trousers he unbuttoned my Jeans. Once they were removed his lips found my neck and my hands found his chest. My hands roamed his body. His kisses made me moan.
He unhooked my bra and my underwear as I ripped his boxers off his eagerly. Suddenly he picked me up and rushed me under the water.
"Stefan." I giggled out.
"God I love you."
I looked him in the eyes
"I love you to."
We carried on kissing as he turned me around.
"You want to try a new position?" I asked.
"Yep." I laughed.
He kissed my neck and my shoulders.
His hands grabbed my hips and pushed himself in me.
I grabbed the wall my fingernails scratching the tiles.
"Oh stefan."
"Oh elena. You feel so good." He continued his movements.
My arm moved around his neck pulling him closer. He sucked on my earlobe.
"Stef..." I couldn't take much more. He fondled my breasts and let his hands roam. We were close and suddenly I climaxed as my hands were on the wall. He followed shortly after.
We stayed in that position for a bit enjoying eachother company. His head rested on my shoulder.
We tried to catch our breaths. I turned around so I was facing him. "How are you so beautiful inside and out?"
I blushed.
"One of these days, elena gilbert your going to believe me."
"Maybe, but for right now I enjoy you saying it."
"Well you better get used to it." His nose brushed against mine.
After our shower, stefan passed me his tshirt. We lay in his bed watching a movie on his tv in his bedroom. He lay shirtless as I lay in his tshirt with only underwear on underneath. He had his boxers on. I lay on his chest as we were watching the movie. Stefan brushed his his hand through my hair, stroking my hair.
Stefan pov:
"Hey elena."
"Yh." She said sleepily.
"What did you want to be when you grew up?"
"Random but ok. I wanted to be a writer or a teacher."
"What stopped you?" I could feel her tense up.
"My parents died and I had to look after jeremy and I had to earn money to pay the bills as john was spending all the money he was given."
"Your so strong" I couldn't believe how strong this girl was. Shes amazing.
Elena pushed herself up to look at me.
"I love you, stefan"
"I love you to." I kissed her passionately. I cant believe how lucky I am to have her as my girlfriend.
Elena's phone began ringing. She bent over me to get it I grabbed her hips. She giggled. "Stefan"
"What ,you can still get it?" I said innocently.
She continued to get it from the floor. Her stomach lay against mine as she answered it. I grabbed her ass and lay my hand on it. God she was perfect. I loved her so much.
"Hello?" She answered
"Oh hey jer"
"Yh sorry, I'm at stefans."
"Ok that's fine. Have fun."
She hung up and turned back to me.
"Everuthing ok?"
"Yep, it was just jeremy hes going out tonight with some friends."
"That will be good for him."
"Yh"
"Hey he'll be fine."
"You think so."
"I know so. You know why?" She shook her head.
"Because your his sister hes learnt to be strong and responsible like you."
She smiled. We kissed again. She straddled me as I sat up. I grabbed onto her hips. She grounded her hips making me moan.
Suddenly there was a knock at the door.
"Ignore it." So we continued, but the knock got louder.
"Uhh"
"Whoever it is isnt going away. You should go answer it."
"Fine. Whoever it is is a pain in the ass." The knocking continued. I kissed elena one last time before picking her up and placing her on the bed.
"Stay there, I'll be back shortly."
"As you wish."
I walked to the door only to see Damon with a worried look on his face.
"Damon, now isnt the best ..."
"Stefan, listen we've got a problem."
"What's the matter?"
He came in.
"Its katherine."
"What about her?"
"Shes decided shes staying in this town."
"So"
"So mom and dad have decided to stay with her and they're planning on getting you two back together."
"What?"
"They going to start so much trouble. They are going to stay in mystic falls with katherine. This is bad news brother."
I couldn't believe it my parents were set on destroying my life.
"Stefan." I saw elena coming out of my bedroom towards the door in just my tshirt it just reached the too of her thighs.
She came to my side and then she noticed damon and suddenly got embarrassed.
"Oh sorry I didnt realise you were here damon."
"Dont worry elena I didnt realise you were waiting for stefan to ur... fulfil your needs."
"Damon!!"
"I better go, bonnie will wonder where I am."
"Bye elena. Brother."
"Bye damon."
"Sorry i didnt know he was here."
"Dont worry it's fine." I wrapped my arm around her and kissed her head.
"So what did he want?"
"Theres something I have to tell you."
"What?"
"Come sit down."
She stayed still.
"Stefan your scaring me."
"Just come sit down." I held her hand as we sat down on the sofa.
"Damon just came to tell me that katherine and my parents have decided to stay in mystic falls and apparently they are set on destroying our relationship and my life."
"Oh." She looked so sad. So I hooked my finger under her chin.
"Listen to me, i promise you this is not going to break us you hear me."
"Promise."
"Promise." I kissed her to seal the deal.
I placed her on my chest stroking her hair.
"Besides whose going to tell me when I'm being an ass if we weren't together."
"True."
"Elena."
"Yh"
"I love you. So much."
She looked up to me
"I love you to." She kissed me and I picked her up bridal style.
"Ah, stefan."
I placed her on the bed delicately and resumed our position with her head on my chest I loved falling asleep and waking up next to her. I could tell she was sleepy especially after her shift. So i placed her on my chest stroking her hair as we spoke about random topics.
"My girlfriend deserves the best." I whispered to her.
I could feel her breaths on my bare chest I knew she fell asleep.
I took the time to admire her, her beautiful features. She was amazing perfect inside and out.
I'm so lucky. This girl loved me and I loved her so much. I cant believe how much I could love until now.
