Sara and Kendra went to save baby Snart, Jax and Stein went to save Jax's younger self, Rip and Mick went to save Stein, Ray was left on the Waverider to heal.

That left Snart and Peter to save Peter's younger self.

The two of them sneak into the hospital as Peter leads Snart to where he recalled him being born from the photos his father took of his time over at the hospital.

"So what exactly went wrong with your birth?" Snart asks Peter.

"I'm not entirely sure, but after I was born, they needed to run a few tests, mean..." Peter was explaining when he stopped and began to stare off as Snart looks to where he's facing and sees a man with light gray hair and eyes that matched Peter's dark blue and he even looked like an older version of Peter in some ways. "Oh my god...dad."

Snart looks surprised at hearing that and could see the resemblance, but now they need to get him distracted if they're going to get Peter out of here.

"Think you can keep him distracted?" Snart asks.

Peter looks like he's going to pass out if he takes another step closer. "No...I...I can't face him."

Snart feels sorry for the kid, and sees he won't be able to face his father. Meaning he has to be the one to distract him.

"Okay, kid, get into your super suit, I'll keep your old man distracted. Go." Snart tells him and walks up to Richard.

"A little nervous?" Snart says, walking up to Richard who looks up to see him. "Expecting?"

"My wife, she gave birth just a few hours ago. Doctors said something was up, we're just waiting to hear back." Richard explains.

"Anything serious?" Snart asks, trying to keep him distracted.

"Nothing too serious as far as they told us, I'm just...he's our first one. We want him to have the best life we can give him. Me and my wife, we need to travel a lot for work. My wife's sister, she just started working here recently, her husband is a officer, so we have a constantly working family." Richard tells him. "Sorry, I haven't introduced myself. Richard Parker."

Richard holds his hand out as Snart shook it while leaning against the wall. "Leonard Snart."

"You waiting on yours?" Richard asks.

"Oh, no. I'm here for a friend of mine." Snart explains as he watches Peter sneak into the room and kidnap himself.

"I see." Richard says with a smile. "I just hope I don't end up repeating my own dad, he wasn't around much and ended up abandoning us. I hope to give him the best life he deserves."

"I can already see he's going to grow up to do amazing things." Snart says. "What's your son's name?"

"Peter. Peter Parker." Richard says as he lights up at the name of his son. "I couldn't be more proud of my son than I thought possible already. I can't wait to see him grow."

Snart then takes this to make his leave to meet up with Peter outside.

Snart went down the alley where they parked the Jumpship and sees Peter comforting his younger self.

"You know, this is the strangest experience I've ever experienced." Peter comments as he keeps trying to keep younger him quiet.

"Shouldn't this cause some time travel paradox of something?" Snart wonders.

"No, not any that I know of." Peter says as Snart starts up the Jumpship to take them to the Waverider.

"If you don't mind me asking, how did your parents die?" Snart asks as Peter has a small flashback to that day. The day everything changed for him.

"It was just a normal day, I was about five or six, we were all playing hide and seek, when I went into my dad's workplace I saw the window broken in and the whole room a mess. When I called my dad, he searched around and my mom carried me out. Later, they took me over to my aunt and uncle's and left me. That's the last I saw of them." Peter told him and Snart looks sorry for him to have suffered so much at so young in life.

Waverider

The two return to the main room with Snart carrying in baby Peter.

"How'd it go?" Stein asks.

"It went off without a hitch." Snart promises and shows baby Peter.

"Well, hello, baby Spider-Man." Kendra greets the baby in a squeaky voice as baby Peter fussed in Snart's hands. "Look at you."

"Guys? Can we focus?" Peter asks them, watching as the whole team walks over to see the younger him.

But that doesn't stop them as Sara comes up to see him. "Oh, look at his little squishy cheeks!"

"You too, Sara?" Peter asks as everyone begins commenting on his baby self. "Where do we go now? Please? Anywhere." He pleads as Rip flies the Waverider somewhere they've never seen before, but it looks like a normal suburban neighborhood.

The ship lands and Rip gets out of his seat. "We're here."

"Where is here?" Snart asks.

"Come, I'll show you." Rip tells them as they all follow him out of the ship and towards a home.

"Again, where is here?" Snart asks.

"we need a safe harbor to keep your younger selves." Rip explains as they approach the front doors and see someone leave the house and see it's an woman with a wide smile at seeing Rip.

"I've been waiting." She tells him as they shake hands. "It's good to see you."

"It is good to see you too, mother." Rip says, surprising the team at hearing that.

They later move in all of their younger selves and see more kids here as they're all in the living room and are all sitting in a circle, drinking tea.

"Don't forget to take your boots off before you come back in." Rip's mother tells the kids as they leave and one other kid they haven't seen before come in and try and take a sweet when she stops him and sends him off.

"So, this is where Rip plans on keeping our baby selves." Jax says, looking around the nice house.

"If all goes according to plan, we'll only be here for a few minutes, then presumably never remember." Stein says.

"Yeah, we don't have the best track record of things going according to plan." Peter reminded him.

"He's got a point." Kendra agreed.

"I really would sit up if I were you." Rip warns Jax who's slouching in the chair. "She'll kill you if she catches you slouching. Don't be fooled by appearances. That woman is as tough nails."

"Funny how you never mentioned having a mother." Snart tells Rip.

"Adoptive mother." Rip's mother informed him as she returned. "Now, can I interest any of you in some more tea?" She asks as she walks around to refill their cups. "So, Michael..."

"Michael?" Sara asks, looking to Rip.

"That's me." Rip confirmed. "My birth name."

"The Time Masters insist on the adoption of new identities for their protection." His mother explains.

"How do you know so much about them?" Jax wonders.

"I work for them." That immediately caught their attention and some got fearful. "Oh, don't worry. My true loyalty is to my children."

"The Time Masters fill their ranks with children, orphans pulled from throughout the course of history." Rip explains.

"When Michael arrived at the Refuge, he had nothing but the clothes on his back. There's a reason it's called the Refuge, and a reason that it exists in a secret location in history. The Time Masters will never think to look for you here."

"Thank you for your assistance." Stein thanks her.

"Look, I know I make a gorgeous baby, but I should warn you. You've got your hands full with me." Snart warns her for his child self.

"I assure you, you're not the first tough case to arrive at my door." She assures him and gives a smirk to Rip before leaving the room.

They then take their leave to figure out their next move before the timeline solidifies without them in it.

Waverider

Peter was sitting in his room when Snart came in and saw him sulking.

"What's going on in that constantly working head of yours?" Snart asks him.

"Just thinking...I could've warned him." Peter explains, thinking about his father. "I could've told him not to leave me with Ben and May, and stay. He would still be alive. Mom would still be alive."

"Why didn't you?" Snart wonders.

"I couldn't be selfish and change history for myself." Peter explains. "Besides, if I did that, who knows where I'd be now. I might never have become Spider-Man, all the people I saved would be erased."

"Always the selfless one, eh?" Snart asks.

"It just...hurts. But I'm glad I ended up here." Peter tells Snart. "I mean, I'm on the adventure of a lifetime. Sure, it's dangerous, but what's an adventure without the risk of death?"

Snart chuckles lightly when Rip interrupts their talk.

"Everyone, please report to the main deck immediately."

"Looks like they need us." Snart says as Peter gets up and follows him out.

The two make it to the deck and sees everyone's already there.

"What's going on?" Snart asks.

"Gideon has intercepted a trans-chronal beacon." Rip explains and activates a video that shows the Pilgrim, and she doesn't look happy.

"This message is for Rip Hunter. I'm going to make this very quick and very simple." Pilgrim says and suddenly a photo of Snart's sister Lisa appears, followed by one of Sara and her parents with her father highlighted. "If I can't find you, I can find those you love." Then a photo of Stein and his wife Carissa, Ray and his deceased fiancée Anna, then an old photo of Peter and his parents when he was a kid with his father highlighted. It then shows the Pilgrim again and she reveals she has Jax's father. "All of them will suffer and die because of you. Your family, friends, anyone you've ever cared about. Unless you surrender your younger selves to me."

"So she can erase you all from history." Rip tells them.

"If it's any comfort, you won't feel a thing." The Pilgrim says, still showing no emotion. "As for your loved ones, I cannot promise the same thing."

Now they're back to figure out what to do now.

"Gideon, I take it that the Pilgrim's transmission included a carrier frequency which she can be contacted?" Rip guesses.

"Yes, captain."

"Hail her, please." Rip tells her.

"What are you planning to do?" Stein asks as the Pilgrim picks up the signal.

"Captain Hunter."

"I'm going to make this easy." Rip promises her.

"I already have." Pilgrim interrupts. "The lives of your team's nearest and dearest for their younger selves."

"And I'm gonna counter that demand with an offer of my own." Rip says. "I will surrender myself if you spare the lives of my crew and their loved ones."

"A noble gesture. But worthless. My directive is to eliminate your entire team, not just you."

"Yes, well, I'm not talking about me now. I'm offering you me in the past." Rip explains his offer, confusing the rest of his team. "Rip Hunter before he became a Time Master. Eliminate him, and this team will never have been."

They watch her and it seems she's considering the offer for a minute. "If this is a trick-"

"It's no trick." Rip promises her. "Enough people have died at my expense. Gideon will send you the location." He then hangs up and comes with a plan. "Mr. Snart, your wish is about to come true. You're going to meet my younger self."

Abandoned Time Masters Outpost

Stein, Rip, Mick, and Jax are the first to arrive as the others of the team are all spread out, waiting for the signal to attack.

"What is this place?" Jax asks.

"Neutral ground." Rip answers. "It's a defunct Time Masters outpost."

"I thought we were supposed to be picking up your younger self." Jax reminds him.

"He's being brought to us." Rip says as they look and see his mother with the young boy none of them recognized. "You got my message."

"I don't approve of what you're planning." She tells him before looking to his younger self. "Not that it ever stopped you before. Your younger selves are all still safe and sound." She assures the others and looks towards Mick. "You're a naughty one."

"That's right." Mick says and takes it as a compliment.

The Pilgrim then approaches them and sees it's time to get this over with.

"I think it's probably about time that you left." Rip tells his mother.

"Give her hell." She says and gives younger Rip a fist bump before leaving.

"Where's my dad?" Jax asks.

"On board my ship, along with the rest." Pilgrim tells him. "All in perfect condition...as long as your captain honors his end of our bargain."

"You'd murder a child?" Stein asks in disbelief.

"I'd murder as many children as is necessary to accomplish my mission." Pilgrim promises.

"Do you know what this will do to the timeline, killing a Time Master?" Stein questions her.

"In case you've forgotten, I am sanctioned by the Time Masters to do what my former colleague Chronos here failed to do." Pilgrim looks over to Mick who doesn't show any emotion.

"Enough of this." Rip stops their argument. "Let's get down to business."

"where's the rest of your group?" Pilgrim asks.

"They're around." Rip promises.

"I'll be taking the boy." Pilgrim says, wanting to get this over with and complete her mission.

"Before you do that, we don't believe for a second their loved ones are one of your ship." Mick states.

"A show of good faith, then." Pilgrim says and uses a remote to make Jax's father appear.

Rip looks to his younger self to try and keep him calm. "You are going to be fine. I promise."

His younger self understands and starts walking as Jax's father walks in their direction.

"You wanted to see me?" Rip's younger self asks. "Have I done something wrong, miss?"

"Not yet." Pilgrim says as she goes for her gun just as Ray grows and goes to blast her, only for Pilgrim to freeze him in time. "Fool me once."

Then, everyone came in to fight as Sara and Snart emerge and Peter comes in, wearing his Iron-Spider he used to fix the ship a while back.

Rip was the first to open fire, followed by Mick and Snart.

The Pilgrim though froze both beams of heat and ice and blasted them back at the owners.

Firestorm and Iron-Spider come flying in and both blast at her, but she freezes them in time.

Snart and Mick get back up and ready to aim as Kendra also comes flying in with her mace as Sara comes running up with her boa.

But the Pilgrim freezes them all mid-action before any of their abilities or powers could touch her.

"I was willing to proceed in good faith." Pilgrim tells the frozen heroes. "Now you'll watch those closest to you die."

Suddenly, she's stabbed in the back and is shocked to see it had come from Rip's younger self who's holding a knife.

"Thought you could snuff me out?" Young Rip asks. "You don't know me at all, miss." He then stabs her leg and causes her to loose control over her powers as all of the heroes break free and all of their powers hits her at once, turning the Pilgrim into ashes.

Jax goes and try to explain what's going on to his dad as Rip's mother takes his younger self away.

"So, that's you?" Peter asks, pointing to the disappearing kid.

"I was a cutpurse from the age of five. Starved more than I ate, I knew what I'd do if she tried to harm me." Rip explains to them, seeming disappointed in himself.

"Lucky for us, you didn't forget your roots." Snart supposes.

"Believe me, Mr. Snart, I've tried." Rip says as he makes his way out and everyone else goes to save their family and friends.

To say things weren't awkward when everyone had to explain about time travel is real and who they were, and some of them didn't even recognize them.

But Richard did know his son.

"So, I'm in a time ship?" Richard asks with a smile as he looks around the ship. "This is...incredible. Does it use ionic propulsion? No, wait, that wouldn't work given that it wouldn't be able to sustain an ionic reaction. Actually, it might be able to if you are able to stabilize the quantum flux." He starts to ramble on and Peter is shocked to see that's where he gained it from.

"Yeah, I never found that out myself." Peter says.

"And that outfit." Richard says, looking over the Iron-Spider suit and other outfits Peter has made. "It's incredible."

"Thanks." Peter blushes.

"And this webbing, did you get that from my formula I'm working on?" Richard wonders.

"Yeah, I finished it up and use it to save people." Peter says with a sad smile.

"I'd love to know how, but I have a the feeling I wont have the time?" Richard guessed, gesturing to Snart who appeared in the doorway.

"I wish we had more time." Peter says and pulls his dad into a hug which he happily returned. "But I'm happy for this time."

"I couldn't be more proud of you, son." Richard says as they separate and Peter walks off for Snart to give his dad the amnesia pill.

"Something happens to me in the future, doesn't it?" Richard could tell.

Snart shrugs for a answer, not wanting to tell him the truth.

"Well, whatever happens, I'm glad he has a crew like this looking after him." Richard supposes.

Snart then pulls out a pill that has gone around everyone. "This is an amnesia pill, take this and you'll loose some short term memory, nothing major. Then again, you don't need to. It's up to you."

"So, I can remember all of this, just don't tell anyone?" Richard guesses and Snart just slips the pill away and Richard was on his way out.

But Snart quickly stopped him and whispers something into his ear as Richard looks shocked at to what he was being told and walks off to look around a little, still shocked by the news.

Peter was in the main room, sitting on the stairs that leads to Rip's office while looking at the locket he kept around his neck that has two small photos of his parents in them.

Once again, he couldn't tell his father what's going to happen. He could've saved both their lives, but he couldn't.

That's when the rest of the team comes in and Snart comes in with a smirk while the others talked about their history.

"Yak, yak, yak. I thought we were on a clock here." Snart reminds them.

"Indeed we are." Rip agrees. "Time, the history from which your younger selves were removed, is beginning to set...as is evidenced by the change in Clarissa's memory."

"So how long do we have till these changes stick?" Jax wonders.

"No one knows." Rip says. "Which is why we need to move swiftly to locate Vandal Savage if any of your lives are to be restored to normal."

"How long until we locate Savage?" Kendra asks.

"Longer than we have." Rip admits and sees that they have only one more option. "Which is why we're going to 2166."

"At the height of Savage's power?" Stein asks.

"With your younger selves removed from history, we have run out of time." Rip explains, meaning that they have to attack Savage at the height of his power, or the world, their lives, all that they knew and love won't even remember them.

The designs for Peter's parents come from the locket you can find in the PS4 game.
