A few weeks had passed since Akeno's sudden departure and to say that Rias was heartbroken was the understatement of the year as her heartbreak had turned into major depression. Ever since Akeno's departure Rias hasn't been eating properly, nor has she been getting proper sleep due to her crying herself asleep in fact she hasn't gotten in bed with Issei as she's been sleeping in her own room, not to mention her grades have suffered immensely, however, it only got worse as a few days later Rias received a note from Koneko saying how she overheard her and Akeno's conversation and choose to leave not because of Rias but because she wants to reconnect with Leopard so she can improve and come back better than she was before.
Rias took this the wrong way however and it only served to further worsen her depression. Issei and Asia walked to Kuoh both of them clearly upset that they couldn't do anything to cheer Rias up and Issei was even more pissed that Akeno could walk around school without a care in the world of how she treated Rias and that pissed him off. For the ORC their luck would only seem to get worse.
ORC Clubroom 1 week after Akeno departed
"You're leaving Asia?"
That was the question that left the room in total silence as Asia could only look down at the ground before looking back up at Rias as her green eyes were full of determination.
"I'm not leaving like Akeno-san did and I'm not going to abandon any of you guys. Plus I know koneko left to get stronger and come back after. Rias two weeks ago Finn and I went to the doctor to get me a DNA test a-and Rias I have family out there. I-I'm no longer alone like I thought I was."
Rias could tell Asia was on the verge of crying tears of joy out of sheer happiness which brought a smile to her face seeing her bishop so happy.
"Asia do you know his name or where this member of your family is?"
Asia nodded quickly before she went into detail.
"He's my cousin on my mom's side of the family. I know that he also lives in Spain and most importantly I got his name."
Rias smiled at her bishop seeing the excitement in her big green orbs.
"Well, Asia no need to keep us in suspense. What's your cousin's name?"
"His name is Free De La Hoya."
"Rias. My flight leaves in a few days but I wanted to tell you as well as Issei-san and Kiba-san that I'm gonna come back. So Rias please get better because I wanna see you truly smile again okay Rias."

A few days passed and Asia's flight had left for Spain but Rias's depression hadn't gotten any better in fact it had gotten worse so seeing no other alternative Issei made a call to Grayfia and explain the entire situation to her which then entailed Grayfia bringing Rias back home where she would be able to recover properly. This action would leave the ORC down to just Kiba and Issei however ever since Issei had invited Kiba over to his place and he saw the picture of the holy sword he'd become very distant so Issei sought to rectify this problem.
Issei searched all over until he found Kiba sitting on the edge of the park fountain.
"So this is where you were huh?"
"I don't wanna talk now Issei."
"Well guess what Kiba I do. You're just going to walk away huh?"
"What're you talking about Issei?"
"You know damn well what I'm talking about! You're going to walk out on us just like Akeno did!"
Kiba glared at Issei as he balled his hands into tight fists as he got up from his seat on the fountain and looked Issei in his eyes as the two of them were locked in an intense staredown.
"I would never abandon the club like Akeno did. I'm not like her!"
"Really Kiba? Cause you could've fooled me!"
Before Kiba could retort he saw tears begin to stream down Issei's face as he clenched his hand into a tight fist.
"You don't know what it's like for me Kiba. You don't understand seeing all your friends leave and being able to do a damn thing about it!"
Kiba's hair shadowed his eyes as he remembered all his friends in the holy sword project were killed after not being compatible.
"I do know Issei more than you know."
"Then why the hell are you being so distance instead of fucking talking about it!"
Kiba's eyes went wide however before he could respond both he and Issei's stomachs growled loudly.
"Well how about we talk over some lunch I'm buying and don't say you're not hungry dude we both heard your stomach."
Kiba sighed and followed Issei to a diner where the two boys took a seat in the diner and ordered their meals as they began talking.
"So Kiba what's the deal anyway. I noticed how you got really pissed when you saw that picture of that sword in my photo album."
Kiba tightened his hands into tight fists to the point where his hands were going to bleed until he took a deep breath.
Kiba then told Issei about his time in the Holy Sword Project. Kiba and other children were experimented on by a twisted archbishop named Valper Galilei. The children were experimented on day and night but despite them being children they were hardly treated as such and as each day passed the large group of children got smaller and smaller. Despite the harsh treatment they received they believed that they had been chosen due to their beliefs but when the project was deemed a failure it was decided that they would be disposed of to cover up their mistakes.
Despite this, during their execution via gassing, they all turned to god to help them to save them from their fate but when God didn't answer their prayers the remaining children fought back as they gave Kiba the opening he needed to escape. Once Kiba escaped he ran and ran as fast as he could in the cold tundra but the poison gas that he had inhaled had gotten to him and brought him to death's door however before death could claim him he tried to continue and swear vengeance for his comrades who helped him escape then Rias appeared before him wearing her winter gear. Issei was left at a loss for words at Kiba's story as their food arrived; neither one of them said a word until Issei spoke again.
"Kiba I-I never knew. I'm sorry."
"It's alright Issei. I need to destroy the holy swords so I can avenge my comrades who were murdered during the project by Valper."
"I understand Kiba but what's more important right now destroying some swords or making sure Rias' depression doesn't grow more than it already is?"
Kiba looked down in his cup of water thinking to himself as he wanted no he needed to destroy the holy swords for causing him constant pain over the years but Rias was the one who saved him and gave him a home and a new start. Kiba gripped his cup tightly as he was at war with himself until he looked up from his cup and at Issei who smiled when his cheeseburger arrived. Before Issei took a bite Kiba spoke up.
"Hey, Issei…"
Issei paused before his first bite and looked at Kiba.
"Your right. The health of my king is more important so thanks for helping me see that."
Issei had already taken a bite of his burger before he smiled at Kiba.
"Of course man. That's what friends are for."
"Speaking of friends… I heard what happened between you and Akeno a week after Asia left and Rias went back home."
Issei stopped eating as he could only grit his teeth in frustration as he now wanted to just hit something as he remembered his conversation with Akeno.

1 week earlier Kuoh Academy
Akeno after leaving Rias and the rest of the ORC was now walking down the hallways of Kuoh with many murmurs and whispers which mainly pertained to her new hairstyle. However, it was cut short when she heard the sound of rapid footsteps coming up behind her.
"Akeno!"
Hearing her name being called she turned around to be greeted by a livid Issei who looked like he was ready to kill someone.
"Hello, Issei."
"Cut the crap! You've got some nerve walking around her so smug after what you did! You have no idea what you're putting Rias through!"
"Big words Issei but I don't remember asking the school's resident pervert for your opinion. My actions are my own and I will always stand by is what separates me from you."
Issei clenched his fists tightly to the point where he could draw blood.
"I don't wanna hear that crap from a bitch like you."
Those who were present in the hallway gasped both the male and the female students as many on both sides began shouting at Issei for his word choice towards Akeno.
"How dare you Issei!"
"Apologize you mean pervert!"
"Yeah! Apologize to Akeno-senpai!"
"SHUT UP!"
The entire hallway was now dead quiet after Issei shouted near the top of his lungs as no one had ever seen him this angry or full of malice before ever.
However, before the situation could escalate Sona and Tsubaki had arrived making most of the students disperse.
"Himejima. Hyoudou. Get moving to class now."
Both Akeno and Issei looked at each other before they began walking their separate ways until Akeno stopped walking and called out to Issei.
"I think I understand why you still cling to Rias now Issei. It's because you're both the same. You're both whining worthless weaklings who had their abilities and powers handed to them. It doesn't surprise me that you would follow a worthless king like Rias."
Issei finally had enough as he turned on his heels bolted towards Akeno and slugged her with a wicked right hook sending her down to the floor.
"Hyoudou! Himejima! After school detention! Both of you."
If the hallway wasn't quiet before it was now as no one could understand Issei's actions as he had never hit and got so angry to the point where he'd hit someone much less a girl.
Issei took several deep breaths as his hair shadowed his eyes as he turned around and walked away.
"Sorry, Kaichou."
Issei then walked away going to class as Akeno got back up and rubbed her cheek however despite having a look of pain on her face like most people would she smiled as she also went on her way to class.
'Ara, Ara. I never would've thought he'd strike me with such force and fury. I think I find Issei a little cute when he's mad.'

Present-day
"So after that what happened Issei?"
After hearing about the confrontation between the two Kiba wanted to know what happened after.
Issei sighed before he continued.
"After that, I'm lucky Sona didn't expel me. In fact, she let me off with a light slap on the wrist. I can only guess it cause she knows about Rias' current situation and knows what we're going through right now."
There was a brief quiet pause before Issei continued talking.
"As for my parents, they were quite pissed when I told them what happened however when I explained to them why I did what I did they were a bit lenient but I'm grounded for a week."
"I see so what now?"
With his meal finished and the meal paid for, Issei got up out of his seat and placed his bag on his back.
"Now Kiba I do everything I can to make sure the club stays together even if I do it by myself I'll make sure Bucho has something to come back to once she's feeling better."
"Then you can count me to Issei. I'll do everything in my power to give Rias something to come back to with a smile on her face."
"Kiba."
Then to the blonde boy's surprise, Issei hugged him tight as he was close to tears as the two were outside the diner.
"Thank you, Kiba."
Kiba embraced his friend and tightened the hug around Issei.
"Of course. That's what friends are for."
The two friends smiled at each other as they began walking home as the sun started to set.
"So Kiba I gotta ask what was your real name when you were in the church?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I mean like did you have a name given to you before you called yourself Kiba? Sorry if I'm sounding stupid."
Kiba laughed a bit, confusing Issei before he started talking.
"It's fine Issei and your right Kiba Yuuto isn't my birth name it's the name Rias gave me. My birth name is Isaiah."
Issei's eyes went wide at this newfound information before he found himself laughing.
"Haha! I never would've guessed that you'd be named after the famous prophet."
"Well to be honest only one person in the project ever called me by my birth name."
"Oh. Who was it."
"She was an old friend of mine. Her name was Tosca. We were both in the holy sword project."
At this mention, Issei smirked before he nudged Kiba's shoulders to the confusion of the knight.
"I didn't know you had a girl when you were a kid Kiba. I should've guessed."
At this, for a brief moment, Issei swore he saw Kiba's cheeks tinge with pink before they went back to their normal color.
"It wasn't like that Issei. Tosca and I were just friends."
"You sure cause that blush I saw tells a different story there."
The two members of Rias' peerage smiled and laughed with each other as they then went the separate ways as the sunset with both boys determined to hold the fort down until Rias returned.

Ever since Grayfia brought Rias back home the crimson-haired princess had stayed in her room refusing to come out worrying her parents, her brother, Grayfia, and her nephew Millicas. Rias also refused to eat as she would starve herself to the point where severe hunger would force her to eat and even then she would only eat small portions which would keep her full to the bare minimum. It would only get worse as Rias would also cry herself to sleep till her voice would go hoarse from her constant crying. Rias' depression was about to turn around however when she received mail the following day.
One of the maids was surprised to see that Rias had received two letters in the mail with one from Spain and the other one from Africa as the maid brought them inside hoping that whatever was written in these letters would cheer her lady Rias up.
When the maid entered the manor she passed the letters off two Grayfia with the silver-haired devil thanking her as she took the letters to Rias' room.
Grayfia gently knocked on Rias' door hoping to hear her sister-in-law answer her knocks however it was dead quiet until Grayfia heard the smallest whisper from Rias inside.
"Come in."
Grayfia entered seeing Rias laying down on her bed with a clean apple on her desk to which Grayfia assumed Rias only took it to ease her parents' worry about her not eating when she knew that Rias wasn't going to eat it.
"Rias I came to let you know that you received some letters in the mail whether or not you choose to open them is up to you."
Grayfia walked over and put the letters on Rias' desk before she headed out the door but stopped herself as she turned back to Rias.
"Rias Lord and Lady Gremory are very worried about you ever since you came home. You don't eat, you never leave your room, and you refuse to let any of us help you. Lady Rias, my advice don't shut out the people who only want to help you."
With her piece said Rias chose to lay back down however sleep wasn't going to help her till her attention was turned towards the two letters she received so she got up and grabbed them both and set them on her bed as she picked up the first letter and broke open the seal and pulled out the letter inside the envelope.
She examined the handwriting and immediately knew it was Asia as she read it to herself.
'Dear Rias, If you are reading this then I made it to Spain where my cousin Free is. I was so starstruck at how big the city was I almost didn't want to move and just take in the sights. I tasted so much good Spanish food from many different street vendors until I started to ask around for Free De La Hoya and people told me he hangs out at BC Sol. I learned that BC Sol is like the beyclub of the whole country which made me even more nervous. Oh and guess what Rias I met two of Finn's old friends from Japan and their names are Valt and Rantaro and they're also at BC Sol with my cousin Free. When Valt and Rantaro brought me to BC Sol I was nervous on what to say to my cousin who I never knew existed until today but I gathered up my courage and told him the truth only for him to say he didn't know me which was sad until he told me he was joking and was happy to see me again. Rias I've never been so happy like this at all even when I was with the church. Rias I want you to get better because Cousin Free said he wants to come back to Japan with me and meet you in person and say thanks for taking me in. Please get better soon, I wanna see you smile Rias. Love, Asia'
Rias smiled at her bishop's letter as she let out a sigh of happiness which she hadn't done in a while as she then moved on to Koneko's letter.
'Hey Rias, I know you think I left because of what you and Akeno-senpai said but that's not the case I left because I wanted to get stronger and to find out who I really am if I'm a nekomata or if I'm a devil or a blader and the answer that I found was that I'm all three and proud of it. After I left Kuoh I set out on my own with Vice Leopard to travel the world and get stronger. I also met my sister again…'
At this Rias briefly froze as Kuroka was always a rough subject when it came to her rook nonetheless she took a deep breath and continued reading the letter.
'... I admit that I still wanted nothing to do with Kuroka when I saw her again but I could tell she didn't want to do anything to me so listened to what she had to say. She told me why she killed our master and it was to protect me but I didn't believe her nor did I want to. However despite everything that happened between me and Kuroka the one thing that I do remember about my sister is that I can tell when she's lying but she wasn't lying to me Rias. She told me… She told me back then if it meant risking her life she would've gone back for me. I know that you're scared that if I ever found this out that I'd leave you like Akeno-senpai did but I wouldn't have left you Rias even if I did know the truth. Since then my big sister has been helping me control and master my senjutsu but that's not all while I've been in Africa I've found myself a bey teacher to help me regain my bond with Leopard and he's like a father I never knew I needed. His name is Kyoya and he uses Fang Leone. He's really tough on me during training but he's also very nice even though he won't say it out loud. I'm getting stronger Rias so please get better cause I wanna show you how much I've grown. When I come home Rias I wanna see you smile.

Rias put down Koneko's letter as tears welled up in her eyes as she was touched at how much concern Asia and Koneko showed towards her recovering not to mention how much work Koneko was putting in to get stronger to make her smile and here she was sitting at home feeling sorry for herself at letting Akeno go.
"If Asia and Koneko are coming home soon I can't keep staying in here all day. I let Akeno go because I failed but I need to move on so I don't make the same mistake a second time."
Rias took a deep breath and wiped the tears from her eyes then got up off her bed and left her room to find her parents.
It took her a while but she found the room she was looking for as she slowly opened the door making it creak getting the attention of her father Zeoticus Gremory and her mother Venelana Gremory.
"H-Hello Father and Mother…"
Both parents stopped and just stared at their daughter who for the past couple of months had refused to eat, see anyone, or leave her room and was standing before them.
The dead silence lasted a few moments before both Zeoticus and Venelana quickly wrapped their daughter in a loving embrace, happy to see their daughter trying to reconnect.
"Mother. Father. I'm ready to…"
Rias briefly paused her speech before she continued talking.
"...I'm ready to try and overcome this depression if you'll help me."
"Oh, Rias you don't need to ask. Your father and I were always going to help you but you had to be the one who wanted to take the first step."
At this Rias began crying tears of happiness as she was grateful to have her family be so loving and supportive as her road to recovery began.

Kuoh Academy
It was another day for the beyclub as Zar and Yuffie were busy practicing while Ravel was looking on trying to give the other two as much advice as she could offer to their joy Finn however was in a less than pleasant mood because Momo had forbade him from battling till his work had been completed as he had been falling asleep in class again.
"Ugh. It's not fair Momo why can't I just do my work at home and battle now?"
Momo sighed before she gave Finn an explanation.
"Finn as the beyclub captain you have to set an example for everyone else plus consider this your punishment for sleeping in class."
"It's not my fault Momo."
Momo raised her brow at Finn's statement.
"Oh? Why is it not your fault?"
"I have trouble sleeping cause Bulent always climbs in my bed and holds me like a teddy bear."
At this Momo tightly clenched her fist as her voice while coming off sweet was laced with small bits of anger.
"Is that right? She sleeps in the same bed as you?"
Bulent didn't respond and instead gave Momo a shit-eating grin before going back to minding her own business.
Zar and Yuffie were in the middle of a practice round unaware a figure was watching them from the shadows.
"Go Variares!"
"Get in there Quetzalcoatl!"
Ravel watched her two clubmates and smiled however the moment was interrupted when bey came flying into the stadium and knocked out Variares and Quetzalcoatl with ease getting everyone's attention.
"So this is a beyclub? HeHa! Yeah right, all I see are rejects!"
This immediately pissed Zar off.
"Oh yeah, buddy? You're the one who had to attack us with a cheap shot! How about to come out of hiding and face me like a man!"
Finn then got up and walked over to his clubmates when the figure jumped from the shadows before landing on the floor of the gym after doing a 360 midair spin as he landed in front of Finn to the young man's surprise.
"HeHa! This is a surprise. so you're the one who beat Ravel. Speaking of which…"
The young man smiled before turning to Ravel with a wicked smile while Ravel only had a scowl on her face.
"Hearts."
"So, this where you are nowadays hanging out among weaklings. I guess the weak really do flock to the weak don't they?"
Ravel tightly clenched her fists in anger as Revive Phoenix began resonating with its blader as Hearts then turned his gaze back to Finn.
"Ravel I can't believe you lost to this wimp. Bet you lost cause you weren't taking the fight seriously or maybe you decided you were done with your toy and let me play with it."
"What'd you call me?"
Hearts smirked as he glanced at Finn before he continued talking.
"However I wish you gave me a toy to play with that was a better model than this."
At this Finn clenched his fists tightly and prepared to rush Hearts however Bulent did her best to hold her master back.
"Why you! Don't make fun of me, jerk! Come on I'll take you on here and now!"
Before Hearts could respond to Finn's challenge Momo stepped up clearly not happy.
"Hearts I will give you to leave the school grounds before I'm forced to escort you out personally."
Hearts laughed at Momo's threat, not intimidated by her presence or her aura in the slightest.
"HeHa! I'm not scared of you sugar tits and besides, you're not the one I'm here for."
Momo blushed in embarrassment and covered her chest with her hands at his crude remark.
"S-Sugar Tits!?"
"That's enough! Look Hearts no one insults my friends and gets away with it! Let's go, I'll take you down."
Finn's resonance glowed around him the color of dark blue, ashen gray, and bits of gold glowed around him to Hearts delight as he moved the hair to the side that covered his left eye as his icy blue eye examined Finn and his resonance.
'Ah, there's his resonance. He does have quite a bit but I wonder how much I can draw out of him.'
"Alright, little Finn if you wanna play with me I'm more than happy to oblige you but first…"
Hearts then showed the number four on his fingers confusing Finn and the other members of the beyclub.
"In the first round I'll burst you for two points then in the second round I'll score two more points for a score of four to zero. You'll lose without earning a single point and the extra point will be the icing on the cake. HeHa!"
Finn ground his teeth in anger as both bladers made their way to the arena ready to battle.
"Get ready cause Dread Hades is going to send you to a nightmare there's no waking up from."
Hearts then brought out his bey as he held it in between his index finger and his pointer finger and his thumb.
The energy ring for hades was defined by its more outlined shape as it had two grooves that could deliver big hits if the bey made contact with its opponent also around the center there were seven hexagons with three on the top and bottom of the energy ring and the last one in the middle where the design of the face of dead hades avatar was. Under Hades' energy ring was its forge disc was disc number 11. The 11 forge disc was designed with asymmetrical and elliptical shape in order to facilitate a Frame. Each side features one large protrusion to create the visage of an "11" with one protrusion featuring a large "1" shaped indent to create an unbalanced design. Located under the forge disc was Hades' disc frame turn. The frame disc was red with several edges and the disc could be turned for two modes; the first mode was attack mode and that is when the disc is flipped right-side-up and the blade edges are facing right allowing Hades' to deliver strong hits while defense mode is when the disc is flipped upside down and the blades are facing left allowing Hades' to deflect all oncoming attacks from its opposition. Completing Hades' was its performance tip Zephyr'. The Zephyr' performance tip was a hollow plastic flat tip with a small diameter, akin to Hole Flat from Metal Fight Beyblade, and sits at the standard height.
"Get ready Hearts! I'm taking you down!"
"Ha! Let's see what you got dear Finn."
Finn then turned to Momo who was standing off to the side.
"Momo I need you to be the Ref. Can you do that?"
"Sure Finn-san."
Momo then walked over to the arena where the two bladers were set for battle.
"First battle."
Momo then raised her arm over the arena giving the bladers the go-ahead for their countdown.
"Ready...Set"
"3…"
"2…"
"1…"
"Let it Rip!"
As Finn launched Fenrir Hearts' launch style was different as he threw his launcher forward in a boomerang style before he rushed forward grabbing his launcher then spinning on the 360 counterclockwise on the ball of his foot as he launched Hades'.
As both beys entered the arena to the surprise of Finn and the beyclub Hades' landed in the arena with a massive thud implying it was very heavy.
"Woah tell me you guys heard that?"
"I did Zar. I never knew a bey could be that heavy."
"Of course it's heavy, that's how it was designed."
Zar, Yuffie, and Reya turned to Ravel whose eyes had never left the battle as Reya then spoke up.
"What do you mean Ravel?"
"Dread Hades was designed to be a heavy bey hence why it is one of the heaviest beys out of the Turbo Four. It's weight also makes it a nearly immovable object."
The rest of the beyclub looked on in awe as the battle continued.
"Get in there Fenrir!"
"Strike him Hades!"
Both beys collided with each other over and over however Fenrir did little to move Hades to Finn's dismay.
'My hits aren't affecting Hades' at all. It's like I'm slamming into Mount Fuji.'
"What's wrong dear Finn? Don't tell me that's all you've got."
Finn gritted his teeth in anger over Hearts' taunts.
"I'll show you how much strength we have. Go Fenrir!"
Fenrir then raced around the edge of the stadium after Hades before catching up to the heavy bey and delivering a barrage of attacks however like before they weren't doing much to affect it.
"Don't quit, keep hitting him Fenrir! I believe in you!"
Finn and Fenrir both began to glow a mixture of blue, ashen gray, and yellow showing their resonance.
"Ahhhh! Fenrir!"
A pillar or energy rose from Fang Fenrir as a pair of yellow eyes were seen from inside the pillar before a paw swiped through the energy showing Fenrir as the mighty wolf howled before taking a battle stance however Hearts couldn't help but smile.
'There it is~ So that's his resonance? It's incredible…'
Hearts then pushed his bangs aside on the left side of his face showing his blue eye as he couldn't help but be excited seeing Finn's resonance burst forth.
"Wonderful! Simply Amazing! You really are incredible but you can't defeat me."
It was then that both Hearts and Hades began resonating as the ends of Heart's white hair began to change colors to a mixture of pink and magenta and he was surrounded by a purple aura.
"HAAAAAAA! HADES!"
Purple energy burst from Dread Hades as dark plumage appeared before departing to reveal a massive gray suit of armor with six legs came forth before the armor was filled with a blue fire fully forming Dread Hades as the mighty warrior wielded a scythe as it appeared before Fenrir.
"End this Hades! Dread Impulse!"
Hades continued to spin around the arena until it turned as was on a direct collision course with Fenrir as Hades channeled its energy into the seven hexagons on its energy layer before it slammed hard into Fenrir using its weight as Fenrir was sent flying into the air to Hearts joy and Finn's dismay.
"Hold on, please. Hold on Fenrir!"
Both Finn and Fenrir began glowing as Finn's resonance increased as Fenrir managed to endure the blow as it touched down on the arena floor before it picked up speed before making its way back to Hades.
"Let's go one more time Fenrir. Lightning Crash!"
Fenrir was covered in lighting before slamming into Hades from an upward angle as it knocked Hades towards the arena wall to the joy of Finn and the other beyclub members.
"Boom! That's the way, Finn!"
"Wow! Wow! Finn's bey is super magical and awesome."
"Hehe. It's no wonder he's the captain."
"My master really is the best."
"No, it's not over. Finn just played into Heart's hands."
Everyone turned towards Ravel hoping for an explanation instead the young phenex just pointed to the arena letting the beyclub see what she meant as Hades was sent back into the stadium wall Heart's then used the opening.
"Now I've got the extra push that I need."
"Wait what?"
"One more time Hades! Dread Impulse!"
Hades repeated its Dread Impulse a second time except now it had more momentum and coming off the wall at a higher speed an slammed into Fenrir sending the bey flying as Finn's world was slowed down as he saw Fenrir burst right in front of him making his eyes go wide with shock as the parts landed with 'clink' outside the arena by his feet. It was quiet as Momo hadn't said a word until Finn spoke up.
"Momo call it."
"O-Oh right. Of course Finn. Dread Hades with a burst finish. Hearts gets two points with a score of 2-0."
Finn walked over to Fenrir and reassembled his bey as he couldn't contemplate how he went wrong in the battle before looking down at his bey as Fenrir emitted an ominous dark aura.
'Let's go Fenrir. We will take the second round. Are you with me?'
Fenrir glowed purple in response to Finn's desire as the rest of the beyclub was unaware it only ever happened once before after Finn beat Ravel at the engagement party.
"Let's go Fenrir. Alright, Hearts here's my prediction; I'll burst you then I'll take two points."
Finn's resonance glowed around him except it was different as the colors were much darker as the blues, grays, and yellows were much darker and there were hints of black and purple surrounding Finn. As Finn loaded Fenrir into the launcher the same dark resonance was back getting the beyclubs attention as Finn's eyes had become purple as if his soul had become corrupted as Hearts notice Fenrir appear behind Finn as its eyes were also purple making the dark prince smile as he moved his hair from in front of his blue eye to have a look at the corrupted resonance of Finn and Fenrir.
'Interesting his resonance has grown at an alarming rate. Time to put it to the test.'
Hearts then looked down at Hades before he adjusted the turn frame as he removed it from Hades then flipped it around making the blades face left putting Hades in defense mode.
"Let's go!"
"Hearts. I will burst you."
Finn growled as he prepared for round two as Momo slowly took a small step back out of fear over Finn's resonance as did Zar, Yuffie, and Reya however Ravel took out Revive Phoenix as her bey began resonating in response to Fenrir making Ravel smile as her pupils quickly changed from their normal color to her right pupil turning blue and her right one turning red.
"I see so you're interested in the outcome too Phoenix. As am I."
Ravel's eyes then went back to normal as she focused back on the upcoming battle as she looked back down at Phoenix wondering why she had brought her bey out before putting it away.
"Momo call the next battle. Momo? Momo!"
Momo looked back at Finn as she quickly swallowed a gulp of air before regaining her composure and going back to the arena to call the second match.
"Second Battle."
Momo once again raised her arm as both bladers got ready for battle.
"Ready and Set."
"3…"
"2…"
"1…"
"Let it Rip!"
However, in Finn's state, he launched with too much power breaking his launcher after Fenrir was released.
"Go Fenrir!"
"No mercy Hades!"
Both Fenrir collided with Hades while the much larger bey was on the defensive parrying all of Fenrir's attacks due to the frame being turned upside down.
"Come on is that all you got? Is your resonance really that weak?"
Finn gritted his teeth in anger as the aura of darkness returned as Fenrir was now covered in the dark purple aura.
"Shut up! I'll knock your ass out here and now you got that! You're going down!"
The bey club was in shock at Finn's change in demeanor as they had never heard him curse before ever.
"RAAAHHHH! FENRIR!"
Both blader and bey were engulfed in the dark resonance as Fenrir appeared from the burst of dark resonance from the bey as his aura was now a very dark purple close to a black as were his eyes to match Finn's.
"Go Fenrir! Tear him apart!"
Fenrir slammed into Dread Hades over and over again not letting up as Dread Hades was doing his best to survive the onslaught of hits while Hearts looked on at Finn with eyes full of intrigue.
'It seems that's the limit of his resonance for now. Oh well, let's see if it can improve later down the line.'
"You've done well Finn but it's the end of the line for you."
"Yeah right. It's just getting started! Keep going Fenrir!"
As Fenrir continued to collide with hades both bey and blader began to resonate as they both began glowing with the same purple aura.
"It's time for the finale! HAAAAAA! HADES!"
Once again the avatar for Hades appeared as the bey while still glowing purple began to knock Fenrir around while slowly moving in on it.
"It's time Hades. End this with Dread Gravity!"
As Fenrir continued to get knocked around while Hades drew in closer and closer it all came to an end when Fenrir was knocked upwards into a purple vortex before bursting making Finn's eyes, as well as the eyes of the bey club, go wide with shock as Fenrir's parts rained down around Hades with clink in the now silent gym before Momo called the match.
"A-And its Dread Hades with a burst finish. W-With the score of 4-0 Hearts in the winner."
As Finn who was still in shock leaned down to pick up the pieces of his partner he was trying to hold his tears in when Hearts pushed the final button.
"Come on that was it? I wasn't done playing with you yet. Heha! You really are a chump after all. Nothing more than a failure as a blader and a club captain. I think I'm right. HeHa!"
With that Finn let loose the waterworks as he grabbed Fenrir and ran out of the gym doing his best but failing as he ran out screaming and crying as Hearts walked away ignoring the pissed off glares from the beyclub as Ravel followed him which he picked up on as they were now a good distance from the school.
"What the hell do you want little birdy?"
Ravel's sclera turned pitch black while her pupils became red and blue as anger painted her facial expression.
"You've crossed a line Hearts. I should eliminate you for what you did to my captain."
At this notion Hearts just laughed at her threat not intimidated by her appearance.
"Well, Well, Well looks like the phoenix never lost her darkness after all. A-Are you actually in love with that reject? HeHa! That's rich."
"Know this the next time we meet not only will I take what's rightfully mine but you will get your penance for your transgressions here."
"Good to know and when that day comes Hades and I will give you a one-way trip to the nether ourselves."
"Hehe. You will try and fail Dark Prince."
With that, both blades left going their separate ways as Ravel's eyes went back to normal as she went back to the bey club to comfort Finn while Hearts walked away healing back as well.

Raging Bulls training facility
Su had just finished his last run on the treadmill when he heard his phone go off making him pull it out of his pocket noting that Finn was calling so he quickly dried himself off and answered it.
"Hey Finn, What's up?"
"Hello is this Shu Kurenai?"
"Yes, who is this?"
"My name is Momo Hanakai and I'm a member of Finn's beyclub. I'm calling because I need your help. It's about Finn."
At this Shu briefly tensed up at the mention of his friend.
"What about Finn? What happened?"
Over the phone Momo was visibly shaking, remembering Finn's dark resonance with Hearts earlier as she steeled herself and continued talking.
"During a battle with Hearts something about Finn changed and I don't know what but he just seemed more focused on winning like he wanted to destroy his opponent. I'm concerned for him I really am."
"Say no more. Momo right?"
"Y-Yes."
"I'll be over in a few days to make sure this hasn't gotten out of hand so hold off until then."
"Okay. Thank you so much."
Shu smiled as he hung up the phone before he talked to the manager of the Ragin Bulls one Theodore Glass asking if he could go visit a friend who was feeling sick to which Glass gave Shu the green light as he had been putting in longer training hours longer than anyone plus the world championship wasn't for a while so Shu was allowed a leave as the red-eye blader grabbed his stuff and his bey then boarded the plane back to Japan to check in on Finn unaware who he would cross paths with on his trip back home.

Shoutout to my friend Zaiko Stones who's OC Hearts finally makes his battle debut in this chapter.
