Chapter 7:
The weekend came and went and all the dolls were back on the shelf in the pile where they left. It seemed that Max wasn't done with the stage yet, so the only scenes they could film now were the parts with Barbie and her sisters. Lisa approached the shelves and grabbed Barbie, Ken, and the sisters and set them up at the dreamhouse. Filming the scenes took all day as the show makers had to set up the various flipping components, the most of what set up for green screen effects. The next day, Max came in to find the stage completely destroyed. It seemed the shelf above the table with paint buckets and oil buckets had broken and fell all over the stage set. The CGI artists also said all of the green screening was going to take them another month. Lisa decided to pause filming the special for now, and continue with the other episodes they needed to film.
Lisa approached the shelf, and picked up each of the fifth harmony dolls and put them in plastic stands in the back of the shelves. Ally felt like she and her friends had been put in jail. They could barely move and it was difficult to get out of the stands. Time passed by quickly for the 5H dolls. They saw two new characters introduced in the show, and got to see that grumpy doll Penelope be happy for once. But finally, after 5 weeks, it was their time to finish their special.
To a lot of fanfare, Max brought in the stadium piece by piece and assembled on it on a massive table surrounded by cameras. First, Lisa came and took out the entire box of extra dolls. Lisa set up the almost 100 dolls in the stadium and taped each of the dolls feet to the ground to make them stay up. Next, Barbie, Raquelle and the sisters were set up at the front of the crowd. Finally, Lisa came over and picked up each of the 5H dolls out of their stands and brought them over to Veronica to be prepped for filming. Veronica gave each of the dolls a deep clean, and brushed their hair at least 1000 times. The dolls were then put on the elevator platform, and we're posed in a dramatic position. Filming began and the platform lifted to reveal 5H on stage. Ally greeted the stadium and there was some dialogue with Barbie. After a small interruption from a message on the green screen behind them, the dolls began singing and pulling up Barbie and her sisters on the stage to perform with them. It took a few takes for the animators to get the motions right, but eventually the dolls finished their song and ran off stage chased by Raquelle and some extras. The episodes concluded with 5H and Barbie's family sitting around a table in the restaurant set eating plastic pizza. Ken came in looking disheveled, and the episode ended with Ken being flipped over off the scene. The crew cheered once they finished the scenes and began putting back all the dolls. 5H was brought back first by Lisa who was said to Veronica, "so what should we do with these dolls now that we're done with them." Veronica shrugged her off, "eh we'll figure out later, lets just keep em on the shelf for now."
