Ashlyn Ketchum isn't normal. While this could be because she can use Aura and is the daughter of the Kanto champion, it's more likely because she remembers a past where she was a different person, that somehow ended up being reborn/reincarnated as a genderbent, female, Ash Ketchum. She didn't even watch the Pokemon anime in her past life, why the hell was she the protagonist? SI-OC

7. Good news and info

I AM SO SORRY!

SO, first off I will legitimately be posting the first chapter of the new and updated version soon. Yay.

Okay, reasons it took me so long:

One) A-levels. I was not content with one of my subjects and had to study and revise for two tests to actually take instead of predicted grades this last previous November early in the first few days.

Two) My word documents weren't working. I don't know why or how but until just recently, whenever I opened a word document and started writing it would glitch. It was so hard to write while the screen was glitching and throwing me off, causing me to just save what I did and close the documents to end up seeing if the problem could be solved by waiting long enough. Which apparently worked! But took several months.

Third) I forgot. No joke, I literally forgot how long ago I sent that last post and didn't even realize how long it had been since I updated until I got a guest lecturing me on giving people false hope if I wasn't going to update. On one hand, ouch. On the other, thank you dear guest commenter for giving me the wake-up slap that I had no idea I needed. It is not an invitation for other people to do it too though. I have autism and slight ADD, so I tend to lose track of time and things I'm working on unless people remind me.

Fourth) Lack of motivation? Depression? Personal problems? Take your pick. I just didn't feel so much like writing. IDEAS! I can do ideas, I have lots of ideas, but sometimes it's hard to actually put them down into words and leaves me continually putting something down and then backtracking, rinse and repeat.

So, in other news, I am finally getting back to this story and working on writing chapters. I have written the first one and will release it soon. Should I do it on Christmas as a present? Please comment if you think I should make the release of the new story a Christmas present.

Also, I have decided instead of churning chapters out randomly, I will release a new chapter every two weeks. If I miss this deadline it is because I have probably forgotten and need a reminder, so be sure to send a message saying if I've passed my deadline with a note on how long it's been since I've last updated in days.
