Jeff stroked the back of Virgil's head, hugging him close, "don't go chasing snakes again son."

"Yes sir."

"I've forwarded a bill onto the hospital for your treatment."

"You should have let me do that, dad," Virgil shook his head.

"Nonsense, it's not like it was your fault you got bitten, you saved that man's life."

Scott nodded, "dad is right, Virg."

Natasha watched Virgil walk over to the piano, "exactly."

"Scott told me what you did, Natasha, thank you," Jeff smiled graciously, "what made you give up the paramedic job?"

"A curiosity to see what the world of acting was like. It's not always a happy job being a paramedic, but then I guess you guys have your bad days on rescues too," she bit her lip, "I better get home, if my house is to be the wedding base."

Scott smiled, "I'll give you a lift, and don't look at me like that Virgil, you're not going anywhere."

Virgil pouted from where he was sat at the piano, "fine."

Kayo stood up, "can I come too? I'd love to see the setting for the wedding."

Natasha nodded, "that seems fair doesn't it."

Thunderbird 1 was ready to leave and Scott smiled back at his passengers, "hold on for launch."

"Ready Scott."

"FAB. Let's go then."

Kayo smiled, "are you very sure you want the wedding at your house?"

"Of course, it makes complete sense," Natasha held onto her restraints as the chair pivoted with the ship levelling out, "do you want to do the reception at mine too?'

"Um, no that's okay, we want to use the island for that. Thank you," Kayo blushed, "that sounds really rude."

"No no I completely understand," Natasha smiled back, "no offence taken."

Thunderbird 1 landed in the field behind Natasha's house and the trio made their way across the short stretch of grass to the back gate, they walked through her garden and she unlocked the patio doors from the outside turning the alarm off via her phone as they entered.

"Wow," Scott smiled, "Virgil wasn't exaggerating."

"Whatever he did say, he is. It's just a house at the end of the day," Natasha stretched putting her bag down on top of the kitchen counter.

Kayo grinned not being able to hold back her excitement, "yes, this is wonderful! We can all get ready here and then straight out the front, we can make our way down to the beach, how long is the walk Natasha?"

"In wedding attire, sandy and probably precarious. But with the shortcut ie beach buggies, five minutes from the road then straight down."

Scott smiled, "we'll have Thunderbird 2, I'm sure we can whip up beach buggies or similar. Are you definitely sure it's okay for us to use your house as a base?"

Natasha nodded, "absolutely, as long as I don't have to decorate it for the wedding?"

Kayo shook her head, "we'll take care of that on the island, we'll only use your house to get dressed up, and it should only be me and Penelope anyway. The boys will be dressed on arrival."

Scott blinked in surprise, "we will? But you'll see our suits."

"I've seen you in a suit loads of times."

"This is different."

Natasha laughed, "it'll come together I'm sure. What time can I expect you guys to be here?"

"Early," Scott said sharing a knowing look with Kayo, "not sun up but not long after."

"Just tell Virgil to message me when you're leaving."

"See you at the wedding Natasha," Kayo hugged her, "and thank you again."

"My pleasure."

Scott hugged her too then looped his arm through Kayo's, "let's get back to base, we've got planning to do."

"FAB. Bye Nat."

Natasha waved from the patio as they closed the gate and she turned back to the house, "first things first, double check I don't have any clashes."

The lounge didn't look any different minus odd parts of furniture being in different places on the floor and the portraits replaced with a large banner which was currently blank to be completed by robots whilst the ceremony was taking place. Roses were being kept fresh hidden downstairs ready to be used later the next day and everyone was tucked up in bed after a busy pre-wedding day which had consisted of two missions and two panic attacks from both the bride and groom who were now snuggled in each other's arms, however, nowhere near asleep.

"Have you learned your vows?" Kayo asked softly.

"I'd be a pretty lousy groom if I hadn't," Scott whispered back.

"I know I need to sleep but I'm too nervous."

"Nervous?"

Kayo nodded, "you're the man I want to marry but I'm not the type of person who does big displays. What if I mess up?"

"I'll still marry you if you do."

"What if the ceremony goes wrong?"

Scott pressed his finger over her lips, "it'll be our family's fault, not ours, we're the ones being kept in the dark. I don't even know how the house will be decorated."

Kayo hummed thoughtfully, "I heard Grandma saying some people were coming back to the house when we'll be signing the registrar."

"I guess we'll just have to wait and see," Scott looked over her shoulder at the time, "we really do need to get some sleep, it's half 2."

Kayo sighed, "I'll try."

Scott got himself comfortable, "come here, rest your head on my chest," he smiled as she pressed her cheek to his skin and he stroked her head, "now just breathe normally."

Kayo took a deep breath and closed her eyes, "see you in the morning."

The sun shone across the bay and Natasha hit her alarm clock as it rang at 8 in the morning, she stretched with a yawn and dragged herself to the shower to freshen up before changing into a pair of shorts and a spaghetti-strapped t-shirt knowing that her bridesmaid dress would be arriving with the Tracy party later that morning. Virgil had texted her the night before telling her he was taking off at nine with Thunderbird 2 and 1, with a couple of cars to pick up their wedding guests. All of this would leave her an hour to have breakfast and re-arrange the spare rooms and any extra space she had in the house for her VIPs, with a grin she turned the coffee machine on and got to work on house preparation.

There was a knock at the door and Natasha smiled as she opened it, "welcome, is this everyone?" She eyed the crowd of Tracys all holding suit bags and other belongings.

"Hello Natasha, thank you for putting us up," Jeff smiled broadly back at her as she stood aside to let the boys in, "are you sure it's okay?"

"Absolutely okay. Come on in," she waited for Scott to go past then beckoned to Penelope to bring the wedding dress in.

"Which room Nat?" Penelope asked looking up at the staircase.

"Top of the stairs, go right and it's the room at the end," she watched Penelope go then turned to the group, "so, gentlemen, there are three spare rooms upstairs with space and a study through there. Kayo, me and Penelope will get ready in my room."

Scott smiled, "this is too kind of you Natasha."

"Don't thank me, Scott, it made complete sense to use my house as a base. How long do we have?"

"Three hours," John smiled with a chuckle, "we're cutting it fine."

"No we're not, but let's get going."

Jeff grabbed Alan's shoulder before he ran off, "Scott, Virgil and John you take one room, Gordon and Alan take the study. Mother, you can take one upstairs and I'll take the other. Brains and Parker will be arriving later."

Natasha closed her bedroom door and heard other doors close outside followed by laughter, "nervous Kayo?"

"Very," she sat down before the mirror staring at herself, "where do I start?"

Penelope rolled her eyes, "now just relax, we'll take care of everything."

Natasha turned on some music, "you might recognise this."

"I know the piece for sure, is this Virgil?"

Natasha nodded as she undid Kayo's ponytail, "his only album I believe."

"Yep, he only recorded one."

Penelope stroked the foundation brush across Kayo's cheeks to create a base, "I promise I won't go overboard with this, I know you don't like makeup."

Kayo closed her eyes, "can I choose the eyeshadow colour?"

Natasha got changed into her bridesmaid dress leaving Penelope in charge, "that seems fair."

In a room down the other end of the hall, Scott slipped a white rose into the buttonhole on his jacket.

"You okay Scott?" John asked looking at his brother in the mirror's reflection.

Scott nodded with a smile turning away from the mirror, "I'm more than okay. Why? Do I look nervous?"

"A little," Virgil smiled back.

"How long do we have?"

"Another two hours," John got an alert on his phone telling him that the lounge decorating was underway, "everything is going to plan."

Scott stepped back and sat down on the edge of the bed to tie up his laces into tight bows, "I never knew two hours could be so long, it feels fast on a mission."

Virgil smiled, "it'll fly by, just watch. I'm going to go and check on the terrible two."

"Leave them be Virg, I need you."

Kayo raised her hand to her hair but a sharp push from Penelope's hand stopped her, "hey!"

"Don't, you'll mess it up, I'm almost done with it," she snapped between gritted teeth holding hairpins, "okay, one more."

Kayo huffed, "why can't I just have it out?"

"It is out, just off your face," Penelope stepped back, "okay, what do you think?"

Natasha nodded, "well I think that looks great, but we need the veil," she took it out carefully from the dress bag and clipped it up into the pins holding Kayo's hair up, "there."

Kayo smiled, "thank you, I couldn't have done any of this alone, and you two look amazing," she looked over her shoulder at the bridesmaids, "how do we get down to the beach?"

Penelope began to work on her makeup, "Parker will be giving us a ride down there, the groom and your family will go first, they better be ready."

Natasha checked her phone, "two hours until our deadline, the boys have an hour and a half."

Jeff walked out into the hall and heard the sound of squabbling downstairs towards the study, he jogged down the stairs following the noise and barged into the room, "boys boys, stop it," he ordered, frowning as Gordon was shoved backwards.

"Alan started it, I was almost ready!"

"That's enough Gordon, and I don't believe Alan started anything," Jeff re-tied Alan's bow tie, "you can take this off after the ceremony. Right, you two are done, go and wait in the front room, I'll check on your brothers."

Alan trudged after Gordon, "I'll get you for this squid."

Jeff knocked on Scott's door and Virgil opened it, "boys, how are you doing?"

Virgil smirked, "the groom is a little nervous."

"Son, you'll be fine," Jeff wrapped his arm around Scott's shoulders.

"Come on John, let's check on the duo downstairs," Virgil held the door open and Scott was alone with his dad.

"I don't know why I'm nervous, a wedding is simple compared to a mission."

Jeff chuckled, "maybe, but did you know when I married your mother I was more nervous than I had been going to Mars? Have you learned your vows?"

"Yeah."

"Then you'll be okay."

Scott smiled, "thanks for agreeing to walk Kayo down the aisle, she really misses Kyrano."

"Is he coming back?"

"I don't think so," he shook his head, "only Kayo knows where he is and she won't tell us, all she said was he wished her the best and gave me his blessing."

Jeff smiled sadly, "he always was mysterious. Scott..." He sighed, "when you're ready, come downstairs and we'll go down to the aisle, that'll give the others more time."

Scott nodded then threw his arms around his father, "I'm glad you're here."

"I'm never leaving you again. I'm so proud of you, son."

Natasha heard the front door close and smiled at Kayo, "I think the boys have gone, it's our turn next."

Kayo nodded, "I need to walk around to get used to these heels."

"Let me check the coast is clear first, we can't be too careful," she slipped out of the bedroom and looked around, "hello?"

Sally looked up from the lounge, "Penelope?"

"Who else is here Grandma Tracy? Has Scott gone with his brothers?"

"Yes, Jeff just left with them all after checking they were ready. It's just me and Parker left now."

"Brilliant. Alright Kayo, come on out."

Sally gasped as her granddaughter to be walked out on the landing, "oh Kayo, you look lovely."

"Thank you, I just hope I don't trip over, at least I don't have a train behind me," she chuckled.

"Do you have everything?"

Kayo nodded, "I think so. I've packed up everything for a quick exit later. What is the house plan?"

Penelope smirked, "leave it to us, just enjoy having your photos taken."

Kayo held on tightly to the bannister as she walked down the steps, "whoa, does the aisle have a handle?"

"I'm afraid not, but the split up the leg will make you feel safer," Penelope closed the door behind her after checking they had got what they needed and followed Kayo down the stairs much more gracefully than the bride to be had done, "Parker, we're ready to go."

Natasha grinned at the tidy house, "at least I won't need to clean when we come back here," she grabbed her keys and her clutch bag, "let's not keep your groom waiting."

Gordon fiddled with his collar, "I can't wait to get out of this."

John rolled his eyes from behind sunglasses, "at least you're not having to hide from the sun's glare. I should've have come down much earlier to get adjusted to Earth."

"Stop fidgeting," Sally scolded, "or you'll be on cleaning duty later, actually you will be anyway."

Marion hugged Scott gently, "congratulations Scott."

"I'm not married yet, I've got to get past the nerves."

"You didn't have any when you were attacked by the mechanical suit."

Scott chuckled, "yes I did, you just didn't care at the time."

Marion smiled back, "you broke in," she looked around and spotted someone else sitting at the portable keyboard, "is your brother not playing the wedding march?"

"Not the march no, it didn't seem fair. We paid for a pianist."

"Well good luck. It looks like we have to take our seats."

"Thanks for coming, Mari."

Virgil wrapped an arm around Scott's shoulders, "relax big brother, you're really tense."

Scott exhaled deeply, "you're right," he looked out at the crowd of guests all chatting and then to his father, "and he's gone to get my bride, wow, I can't believe this is happening."

Virgil nodded, "I'll be on the front row, if you look like you're about to faint, I'll be there to grab you," he grinned.

"And that's meant to relax me?"

"Hey, I've always been your back support."

Parker stopped the car and Kayo spotted the wooden boards which had been placed down to avoid having to step onto the sand, "e're we are M'Lady. I'll go on ahead and tell them you're comin."

"Thank you Parker, send me a note when everyone is ready."

"Yes, M'Lady."

Kayo got out of the car where a photographer was waiting, "the photos start now?"

"Completely up to you," Natasha smiled supportively.

"Can we start once I've got down these planks please?"

The photographer nodded, "of course Miss Kyrano, my colleague is on the beach already."

Kayo nodded with a sigh, "I'm ready, let's go."

Lady Penelope heard the car lock and a message came through from Parker telling her everyone was seated and Jeff was waiting at the beginning of the aisle, "we're right behind you. Lead on Kayo."
