Hello... EVERYONE!

How is everyone doing? Are you staying safe during this pandemic? It's so boring at times but I can't do much fun because I still have to work and to be honest when I do have time I just don't want to do anything. But I finally got this chapter done so I thought it would nice to post. I'm starting another chapter after I post this one and I hope it's well-liked.

Mkayemolina: Hello friend! She does care about Naruto it's just she doesn't really know how to show it and she thought that would show him that she really does care for him despite her going for her own happiness. I didn't want anyone to hate Suigetsu because he is going to come back later on in the story so I wanted him to be well perceived. He isn't a bad guy just jealous that his crush doesn't like him.

"So, you two come here really quick," Itachi said as they finished cleaning the house before their mom got home.

"What is it?" Sasuke asked as he pulled Naruto to sit next to him.

"We should set some ground rules for you two seeing as you two just got together," Itachi said shocking the two making Sasuke blush.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Sasuke asked still blush on his face.

"I mean you two are together, now right?" Itachi asked getting a nod yes from both of them as they blushed more.

"That means you two can't sleep in the same room. Your far too young to start having sex," Itachi said shaking his head.

"Um... you had sex at this age. As a matter of fact, it was when you were fourteen when you had your first time," Sasuke said blush still on his face as he talked back to his brother.

"I didn't tell you that stuff for you to use it against me later on in the future Sasuke not cool little brother," Itachi said shaking his finger at him as he had his own blush on his face from embarrassment.

"Our relationship is new and that is personally way too soon for me. I'm not ready to go that far with anyone let alone with Sasuke. I'd rather be able to spend time with each other and go on dates like how it should be at the beginning of a relationship. But if you think I should sleep in the other room that will be fine I will respect your wishes and what you think is best," Naruto interjected before Sasuke could even argue with Itachi some more.

Both brothers were kind of shocked by the words that came out of Naruto's mouth. Itachi wasn't sure how Naruto would take it but he seemed to take it just fine.

"Naruto are you sure?" Sasuke asked looking at Naruto as the blush seemed to fade away.

"I will be fine," Naruto said giving Sasuke a smile. "Anyways I think people who rush into sex don't feel like their relationship will really last, to begin with. I am patient and I want to cherish who I am with that being Sasuke so it makes me want to cherish him more," Naruto said looking back toward Itachi as a blush crept on his face all over to his neck making Itachi shocked that he could continue to look at him.

It showed how much Naruto really liked and valued respect and his feelings for Sasuke. Sasuke was actually happy to hear what Naruto said to his brother. He also thought that Naruto's belief system was based on his parents and how they got together.

"That's good values Naruto," Itachi said with a soft smile appearing on his face.

Itachi was glad that he would be able to go to college and not feel the need to worry about Sasuke every time he was away because he knew Naruto would protect him.

"Sasuke can I talk to Naruto by myself really quick?" Itachi asked but something in his brother's eyes told him no before he even opened his mouth.

"No why do you want to talk to him alone?" Sasuke asked glaring at Itachi.

"Just go upstairs real quick. You know I am a pacifist so we won't fight now calm down and go," Itachi said getting a nod from a very reluctant Sasuke.

When Sasuke was upstairs and Itachi was sure he was out of hearing shot Itachi turned back to Naruto who seemed to be prepared for whatever it was that Itachi was going to say.

"Naruto, I like you and I know that you can protect my brother that's why I'm glad you're around. Honestly, I think he would be taking this harder if you weren't around to keep him occupied," Itachi said as his face slowly turned to the stairs.

Naruto didn't say anything because he knew Itachi had more to say so he didn't want to interrupt the older Uchiha.

"You see I'm going to be at school a lot more now and I won't be able to look out for him and I know how much this divorce is going to affect him and my mom so what I'm asking is... for you to look out for them while I'm away? I won't..." Itachi was stopped by Naruto as he put his hand up.

"I would look out for them either way," Naruto said simply with a small smile appearing on his face.

"I knew you would," Itachi said with an understanding smile on his face. "But do take care of my brother. If you hurt him in any way, I will hurt you," Itachi said perfectly content with the fact that he knew he couldn't hurt Naruto in a fight but he would handle it his own way considering he destroys someone a lot of other ways.

"I know and you don't have to worry I have no intention of hurting your brother," Naruto said with a soft smile.

"Good, then I don't have to worry," Itachi said as their mom walked into the door.

Naruto saw a beer bottle that they missed making him jump up and run to it before she came into the room. Itachi was shocked by Naruto's speed but didn't say anything only walked to his mother and welcomed her back home.

"Hi mom," Itachi said helping her with the bags.

"Good morning honey," Mikoto said but didn't lift her face to look at her son.

"How was the trip?" Itachi asked.

"It went as I expected it to considering it was your grandmother," Mikoto said not looking up to her boys.

"Mom, what's wrong?" Sasuke asked just as Naruto was coming into the room.

"They are going to try and get custody of Sasuke," Mikoto said crying out loud finally looking up to the boys.

"Is it because of me?" Naruto asked feeling like he already knew the reason.

"..." Mikoto couldn't say anything because it was part of the reason.

"Is it mom?" Itachi asked.

"Mrs. Mikoto you don't have to worry I have many places to stay," Naruto said.

"Naruto?" Itachi said looking back toward the blonde.

"It's fine as long as I can leave my things here and I can still come over I don't mind," Naruto said.

Mikoto walked up to Naruto giving him a hug as she cried some more. Naruto patted her gently on the back but didn't say anything even his expression was soft toward her. Sasuke was very upset and walked up the stairs in a very vengeful rage that he really felt like destroying his father and grandmother.

"Calm down," Itachi said at his brother's doorway.

"Why? He is just trying to torture us and Naruto," Sasuke snapped.

"Because this will only get worse and we don't want that," Itachi said.

"You should go and comfort mom," Sasuke said softly.

"Who will comfort you then little brother?" Itachi asked.

"Shut up, it's not like I will never see Naruto again. I'm just worried about where he's going to stay," Sasuke said.

"I'm just going to go back to my father's house," Naruto said scaring the brothers making them both jumps.

"When?" Itachi said.

"You should go talk to your mom," Naruto answered but his eyes were a bit cold.

"I will," Itachi said and gestured for Sasuke to stay here.

"Are you okay?" Sasuke asked when his brother was gone.

"I'm fine," Naruto said as he went to the other and sat by his legs.

"Are you sure? You know you can tell me," Sasuke said.

"... this... here it's warm and honestly I don't want to leave but I know it could hurt you three so I feel the need to. Your mom said my dad's stuff can stay here and that I can spend the night on the weekends and some weeknights but I can't live here which I'm fine with," Naruto said.

"Are you really going back by your mother?" Sasuke asked as he started to rub Naruto's hair.

"I was thinking about it just to drive them crazy," Naruto said but he seemed to be thinking of something. "But I don't want to start problems if it will hurt you in the end," Naruto said softly as his head went on Sasuke's knees.

Sasuke couldn't help but smile. "You're really too sweet," Sasuke whispered kissing Naruto on the top of his head making Naruto's heart start to pound.

"I will ask Iruka if I can stay with him or I can get an apartment," Naruto said as he looked up toward Sasuke like he was getting approval.

"That sounds like a better idea than going back to your mother," Sasuke said as he pushed Naruto's hair out of his face.

"I will do that then," Naruto said softly with a smile on his face.

Sasuke smiled back at him then gave him a gentle peck on Naruto's lips. Sasuke missed his reaction because he turned away nervously as blush slowly crept up his face from his neck.

"Do you want to go somewhere with me?" Naruto asked sounding inviting.

"Is it a date?" Sasuke asked looking back at him which he was shocked to see a playful smile on Naruto's face.

"Do you want it to be?" Naruto asked looking up at him.

"..." Sasuke bit his lip but nodded his head.

"Do you want to go on a date with me?" Naruto asked shocking Sasuke but he nodded still. "I don't know if you really want to consider I didn't hear an answer," Naruto said scratching his head as he started to stand looking away but the voice was teasing and playful Sasuke was sure of it.

"Yes I want to go on a date with you," Sasuke said.

Naruto couldn't help but let out a really warm smile that caught Sasuke off guard.

"You go get ready then while I get ready," Sasuke said standing up and pushing him out of the room.

Naruto couldn't help the small chuckle that came out of his mouth but the moment the door closed Naruto went downstairs and went to his jeep where the stuff from his house was. He decided he was going to play a little game and destroy Fugaku without even talking or mentioning it to the rest of them but then he couldn't help but feel the pain of his mother, Mikoto, Itachi, and Sasuke. How would everyone think of them? Despite everything, he loved his mother even now. Maybe he could talk to her about this. He pulled out his cell phone and dialed a number he never thought he would use again.

"Naruto what is it?" Kushina said surprising Naruto when she answered.

"Mom, can you tell him to stop?" Naruto asked.

"Who to stop?" Kushina asked shocked.

Naruto wasn't the type to ask her for anything.

"Tell him to stop trying to hurt his kids and ex-wife now. He is already leaving the relationship why does he have to make it worse?" Naruto asked he didn't even hear Itachi near the door.

"Ah... Naruto you have always been this way she is trying to force him to stay by using their kids against him," Kushina said sighing as she went on.

"Mom she isn't like that. She didn't ask for any of this and if he really cared about his kids, he wouldn't put them through any of this. Not only that but where do I go from here? He wants me out of dad's house so I came here now he wants me gone from here so where should I go? Do you even care?" Naruto asked.

"... Naruto you went to his ex-wife's house?" Kushina asked shocked and slightly hurt that her son is siding with another woman.

"Why is that the only thing that you heard? I'm telling you I'm about to be homeless and the only thing you care about is me coming here. You should have just given me to my grandpa after dad died if you really didn't care about me," Naruto said hanging up on his mom as he wiped at the tears that were starting to fall.

Itachi didn't go in he just let Naruto have his space instead he went upstairs to his brother and knocked on his door.

"Why are you knocking? Oh, Itachi... where's Naruto?" Sasuke asked feeling confused.

"Did you by chance tell him to talk to his mother?" Itachi asked.

"No, I wouldn't," Sasuke said.

"You should talk to him Sasuke he's really sad," Itachi said.

Sasuke was shocked by what his brother said but he already knew Naruto was sad that's why he agreed to go on a date despite his mom being sad as well. He knew Itachi could handle his mom while he handled Naruto.

"We're going on a date," Sasuke said.

"Okay have fun," Itachi said ruffling Sasuke's hair.

Sasuke went back in his room to get ready some more in the bathroom as he heard someone come into his room without knocking so he knew it was Naruto.

"You ready Sasuke?" Naruto asked.

"Yeah," Sasuke said as he came out of the bathroom and saw a small box in Naruto's hands. "What's that?" Sasuke asked curiously.

"Proof from how long he was cheating," Naruto said.

Sasuke's eyes almost rolled out of his head. He couldn't believe Naruto really had proof for his father cheating with his own mother.

"How did you... how did you get the proof?" Sasuke asked.

"My dad started it because he wanted to divorce my mom so he started taking pictures and marking conversations. Hotel bills charged on and receipts from when they went out. He even hired a private investigator. I can get a hold of the private investigator my dad had because he has a lot more information," Naruto said.

"Naruto..." Sasuke started but the look in Naruto's eyes was kind of unusual and sad if Sasuke was being honest.

"Just give it to your mom," Naruto said but it seemed like the sadness was overwhelming him.

"Naruto calms down," Sasuke said coming closer to him slowly.

The tears started to come down Naruto's eyes and Sasuke felt his heartbreak. Sasuke couldn't help it he pulled at him making Naruto drop the box against the floor but nothing seemed to fall out and Naruto grasped Sasuke into a hug. It was tight but Sasuke let it happen.

"It's okay Naruto," Sasuke said as he moved a little to sit on the bed.

"I don't want to leave," Naruto said softly into Sasuke's neck.

"Shh," Sasuke said as he rubbed Naruto's back.

Naruto never closed the door so Sasuke made eye contact with his brother and Itachi gestured what the box was and all Sasuke could word out was evidence before his brother was down the hall back by their mom.

It seemed like a long time before Naruto seemed to calm down and it was because he fell asleep. Sasuke was disappointed, to say the least, but he didn't mind it when he realized how sad Naruto was. He got up from his spot and picked up the box. A lot of paper receipts, money orders, hotel stays, and pictures of them together. Some were recent also. Then there were some video and sound recordings. Phone call text messages and calls that lasted hours long. It was a lot that spanned for over ten years.

Sasuke got up and went to where his mother and brother were.

"I have to show you this," Sasuke said in a serious tone that made them both look at him.

Sasuke got on the bed where his mom and brother were at and started to show them all of the evidence accumulated over the years and then told them about the private investigator that Naruto told him about.

"Why was he crying?" Itachi asked shocking Mikoto.

"He said that he didn't want to leave. This was the first place that felt like home since his dad passed," Sasuke said honestly hoping it would pull on his mom's heartstrings to make her keep him here.

"I'm sorry Sasuke," Mikoto said softly.

"Mom no one is blaming you. He understands but it doesn't change the fact that it hurts him you know?" Sasuke said softly as he held her hand.

"It hurts me to know he only has one or no place to go," Mikoto said.

"I just want him to stay here," Sasuke said softly.

Mikoto looked at her youngest and could see the resolution in his eyes.

"I know and I will try my best," Mikoto said pushing his hair gently.

When Sasuke went back to the room Naruto was awake again and seemed to be getting off of the phone with someone.

"Sasuke," Naruto said softly with a small smile but there was something else in his eyes.

"What happened?" Sasuke asked.

"The private investigator said he is willing to give us everything he did for my dad with no price. He said that the night that my dad passed was the night he was supposed to meet up with him and he couldn't find a way to bring up the information he found without it being awkward," Naruto said as he turned his head away sadly.

"Are you okay?" Sasuke asked shocked that his dad died on the night he was supposed to meet the private investigator.

"He told me something serious and explains something my dad found out when I was a kid but I think this is something we should tell your mom with the private investigator. He said he will be here tomorrow if that's okay with you that I just have to text him," Naruto said and Sasuke nodded immediately.

"Do you still want to go on that date?" Sasuke asked.

"It's late and we can do it next weekend if that's fine with you?" Naruto asked as he gestured for Sasuke to sit next to him. "I also talked to Iruka he said I can stay by him this week if I need to," Naruto said softly.

"I will fix this Naruto," Sasuke said.

"Naruto you said the private investigator is willing to come tomorrow?" Itachi asked.

"Yes, if that's what you want," Naruto said.

"We want it," Mikoto said.

"I can stay home from school tomorrow to introduce you," Naruto said.

"Go to school we can do it after or I can do it with Itachi," Mikoto said.

"Yes, I understand," Naruto said softly.

"I don't want you to leave Naruto," Mikoto said softly.

"I don't want to leave to be honest with it feels like I have a home again," Naruto said to the three of them.

"Stay here I won't let no one take you three away," Mikoto said.

"They can't take me anyway," Itachi said.

"Good, we should eat dinner and all watch a movie together," Mikoto said.

"We would like that," Sasuke said nodding his head for him and Naruto.

Naruto nodded softly as he got up to go toward the kitchen with Itachi following behind him that left Mikoto and Sasuke in the room together.

"Sasuke are you two dating? What's this about a date?" Mikoto asked with a smile on her face as Sasuke blushed bright red.

"I like him a lot," Sasuke said.

"You know he isn't allowed to sleep in here unless the door is open from now on you understand?" Mikoto said.

"Yes mom, Itachi already talked to us about that. Naruto and I aren't interested in that right now anyway. We just want to spend time together," Sasuke said.

"I think he is the sweetest boy I ever met. I hope that you two take care of each other and not hurt one another," Mikoto said softly. "But with the way he looks at you and takes care of you I don't see him hurting you," Mikoto said smiling at her baby son.

"So... you're okay with us dating?" Sasuke asked a bit scared of his mother's response.

"He is a sweet kid and looks out for you that's all I can ask for. Just don't let your father know about this or that is something else he can use against me," Mikoto said.

"Why would I tell him? He would just think lower of me," Sasuke said turning his head away.

"It's okay Sasuke I will never think lower of you so you don't need to think like that. Just be the best person you can be and I will always be proud of you," Mikoto said when Naruto's cellphone started to ring making them both jump up.

Sasuke looked around to see it on the desk. Sasuke got up to see who it was only to see that it was Kushina so he left the room with his mom following along to see what the other two were doing.

"Naruto your phone," Sasuke said.

Naruto looked to see who it was mumbled an excuse me and walked out of the room.

"What's he cooking?" Sasuke asked.

"Spaghetti," Itachi said.

Naruto didn't come back into the room for at least a half-hour so that left Itachi to take over the cooking.

"Sorry about that but can I talk to you for a moment?" Naruto asked looking directly at Sasuke but seemed to not really be looking at him.

Itachi and Mikoto gestured to Sasuke to go and talk to Naruto.

"What happened?" Sasuke asked.

"I can stay here at least until the month is up is what my mom said and she said your father won't give me any trouble so I was wondering if I can just stay here for the rest of the month?" Naruto asked.

"Of course, but why does it look like you have something more to say?" Sasuke asked.

"It's nothing, I just want to make sure it's okay with you that I'm here?" Naruto said lying to Sasuke for the very first time.

"Of course, it is so my father isn't going to create problems, is he?" Sasuke asked.

"No, he won't be," Naruto said shaking his head but the sadness in his heart was messing with him.

The night seemed to go on with happiness for the three Uchiha's but Naruto was sad and he couldn't get the conversation with his mother out of his head. He felt helpless for the very first time and he didn't know how he was going to explain this to Sasuke.

"Naruto, I know you don't believe me but I do love you. You're my son but I need to be happy to," Kushina said.

"What is making you unhappy?" Naruto asked a bit annoyed with her selfishness.

"I just want to be with the man I love," Kushina said.

"You're with him why can't I be in a place that I like? You want to take everything away from me. I don't ask you for anything. Not once since my dad has died have, I asked you for anything just this once I am telling you to tell him to stop what he is doing," Naruto said sadly.

"Naruto, I don't want you over there that is why he is doing it. I want you away from that woman. She is toxic and will make you hate me like how she makes them hate Fugaku," Kushina said.

"She doesn't make them hate him. Itachi does on his own and Sasuke doesn't even hate him," Naruto said. "And no matter what she says or does what can she really do to make my opinion of you change? You already do things that break my heart and you already hurt the one person that loved me unconditionally but here I am as always I still care and love you even though I know you don't care," Naruto said sadness taking over.

"I do love you Naruto that's why I am giving you the rest of this month to be there and then you will be going to Suna by your grandma," Kushina said.

"What?" Naruto asked shocked.

"Your grandma already said yes and you have been wanting to leave for a long time now. Your reputation here is trashed anyway so it will be better for you to get away," Kushina said.

"This is him, right? This is him trying to get back at me, isn't it? I don't want to move away," Naruto said. "I finally want to be where I am and now, you're trying to make me leave," Naruto said shaking his head.

"Naruto why do you want to stay?" Kushina asked in a tone that was more serious than she's ever used with him before.

It was her business voice.

"I want to be with Sasuke. He's the first person that accepted me in a long time. I am also finally talking to Shikamaru again," Naruto said even though it was only one conversation with Shikamaru.

"Well you will have to keep in contact with them through the phone," Kushina said.

"Mother if you do this you will regret it. I'm telling you; you're not going to like what I do if you do this to me," Naruto said the threat was laced with poison and she was shocked. "I finally have someone in my life that doesn't fear me and you're trying to yank them out of my life. You will not like what I do next if you hurt me this way. I have been nice this whole time since dad has died despite my aggression and anger but do you want to know why I have been so calm toward you? It's because I thought you cared about me and right now you are showing me you don't care so the only thing that is playing in my head is why should I care about you now? Don't regret it," Naruto said his voice low and angry.

"Don't threaten me Naruto," Kushina snapped shocked her son is threatening her.

"Don't regret this Kushina," Naruto said and hung up.

The last sentence rang in her head and it wasn't her son that she was hearing but her dead husband from the night of his death. And sadly, that night is something she did regret. Was this something she was going to regret also?

Naruto was just watching the movie they were watching but the smile was cold and he couldn't play it off like he was happy because he wasn't. This was something that was unacceptable in his eyes and he was just about tempted to destroy everything. It was only Sasuke's hand on his that was keeping him anchored to that moment. He leaned against Naruto and Naruto felt calm all over again. He was relieved.

How does everyone feel about this chapter? Are you shocked I made Naruto cry? He needs to show some emotion aside from anger. It's about to be unleashed on his mother soon if she doesn't watch where she is stepping with her son. She is hurting him in a different way than when she took away his things that his dad owned she doesn't realize it though but she will soon.

Just to clarify some things about Kushina she does have some level of guilt about Minato's death. It's just no one knows it not even Naruto. There are also many reasons why Kushina never wanted to let Naruto go despite it being so bad. She does love her son and as you can see she is very misinformed about Mikoto from Fugaku. Also, she did love Minato but not in an 'I want to be with you' type of way.

Either way, I hope to see some reviews it will make me feel like I am talking to someone other than myself in my empty house.
