Phoenix walked into the main office of the old Phantom Lord guild. Sitting behind the desk, facing toward the open window was a woman with grey armor covering her entire body. The only thing that can be seen were her blood red eyes.

"You summoned me?" Phoenix asked.

"... I understand there was an... encounter on the mission today?" The figure asked.

"Yes. The wizards Ryan Archelight, Juvia Lockser, and Adam Lionhardt of Fairy Tail had stalled our operation." Phoenix responded.

The figure's eyes narrowed at the mention of the Water Dragon Slayer's name, "Adam..."

"Mistress?"

"Tell Slash and Darkness we are moving to phase two. We have collected enough sacrifices, and gained the attention of the guilds. No doubt that soon Adam and his little crew will move to attack us. Have Slash and Darkness take up their positions and if any intruders enter, guard me with their lives, and make sure the traps are active. I will not take any chances. We must not fail." The figure said.

"Yes Sorella Angelo." Phoenix said as she turned around and left.

"Soon I will have the means to be complete. Come now Adam, let us see if you can stop me."

Adam woke up in a cold sweat. He looked around the room and recognized his location. He thought back to his dream.

"I was there again, on the tower. This time, she didn't fall, but instead I cut her in half." Adam said, running his hand over his face.

"Why did things have to turn out like that? Whatever happened, she's dead, and I'm still here, I can't change that."

"Perhaps, but maybe breakfast will lighten your mood?"

Adam looked to the room's doorway and saw Seilah leaning on the doorframe. In addition to her usual attire, she wore a black tank top underneath her kimono, and black leggings instead of thigh-high socks. She also wore knee high black boots.

"Never seen you wear shoes before." Adam said.

"One: They're boots, and two: They're a gift from Juvia. Plus, they're comfortable." Seilah responded.

"Well, whatever works for you." Adam said. Seilah playfully rolled her eyes.

"Juvia's been working on breakfast for a while now, and I don't think it'd be nice to skip over her hard work." Seilah said, straightening up, then waving him to follow her, "C'mon."

"Yes mom." Adam sarcastically said as he got out of bed. Seilah jut rolled her eyes at him before leaving.

Adam got out of bed and looked for his shirt before finding it, putting it on and exiting the room. As Seilah said, Juvia was in the kitchen making breakfast. The smell of bacon and eggs wafted through the air. Seilah was already sitting at the table, watching the lacrima television while waiting for the boys. Adam had just sat down when a shirtless and extremely tired Ryan trudged out of the bathroom. Adam noticed Seilah's attention had turned from the TV to Ryan, and she was watching him with a blush on her face. When she realized Adam had caught her, she hurriedly turned back to the TV, knowing Adam had the largest smirk possible. Thankfully for her, Ryan was too tired to notice any of this. He was too busy pulling out the chair to sit on.

To which he promptly tripped over.

Adam got up to help him and set him in the chair, then returning to his own.

"Rough night?" Adam asked, to which he only got a silent nod in return.

"The couch was a horrible place to sleep." Ryan said after a moment.

"I do believe you were the one who volunteered for sleeping on it." Seilah said, with a barely noticeable blush on her face.

"Can I take that back?" He asked.

"Nope, you're stuck with it." Adam said, to which Ryan gave him a middle finger in return.

"On another note, more memories returned to me in my sleep." Seilah said, turning to Adam.

"Really? Which ones?" He asked.

"When we played hide-and-seek with Springstone. Neither of you could find me." Seilah said with a small smile.

"Oh yeah, Queen of Hiding, was one of your nicknames." Adam said.

"I also remember the first time we went into town together. The people there stared and avoided me. Some of the kids even bullied me, but you were there to protect me." Seilah reminisced.

"No one deserves to be ridiculed, human or demon. You're just making a bigger problem down the line." Adam said.

"Juvia- I too have had trouble with bullying." Juvia said, bringing a plate of bacon and eggs out for Ryan first, "They always called me gloomy and hated me for always making it rain. They never realized that by bullying me, they were causing the rain themselves."

"It's a tough world. If people don't like who you are or what you look like, they label you as weird or a freak. If you don't like them, just leave 'em be, idiots." Ryan muttered, as he started to dig in.

"It's the fact that they have to go out of their way to make someone else's life miserable that makes me hate them." Adam said with Seilah nodding.

Seilah was given a plate next, to which she started to eat with stars in her eyes.

"It's been so long since I've eaten food. It tastes so good!" Seilah said.

"It's been so long?" Ryan asked after swallowing some bacon.

"As a Etherious, I don't need to eat food to survive." She elaborated.

"Then why are you eating?" Ryan asked again.

"Because it's good food." Seilah retorted.

"I... can't argue with that." Ryan said, returning to his food. Adam was then given his as Juvia took hers and sat down.

"So, what's today's agenda?" Adam asked.

"Hopefully Phoenix acts up so we can shut her down. I really need to loosen up and a fight feels like the perfect way to do that." Ryan said.

Just then a message played on the lacrima TV.

It was Phoenix.

"Dear Fairy Tail wizards. If you are expecting us to go out and abduct more civilians, I'm afraid you will be disappointed. It is your turn to come to us. We are waiting at the former Phantom Lord headquarters. You have one hour to reach us. Do not waste out time." She said.

"...Or we go to her. Either way, we'll fight." Ryan said. Seilah shook her head.

"You can't rush in blindly. I happened to catch a glimpse of the headquarters outside of town. They've fortified it so that no one can get in easily. There's no telling what they've don to the interior." She said.

"That's true. We need a plan, but unfortunately, we don't have time. We have to move now. Seilah, you coming with?" Adam said, walking over to Riot and sheathing it on his back.

"Until further notice, I am a member of Fairy Tail. This is my problem as much as it is yours." Seilah said.

"Alright. Let's finish up breakfast and kick some ass!" Ryan said, already done.

"Not everyone's a vacuum like you Ryan." Adam deadpanned.

"What do you think they're trying to do?" Juvia asked, walking down the street.

"If they're abducting people, that's usually a telltale sign of sacrifice to summon something." Adam said.

"But what the hell would they try to summon? A demon? They can go out and find them. Hell, we did." Ryan said, pointing his thumb back at Seilah who was trailing behind them, but too deep in thought to notice he was talking about her.

"Maybe they're not trying to summon 'that' kind of demon. Maybe they're not trying to summon a demon at all." Adam said.

'I've got a bad feeling about this.' Seilah thought, as she narrowly ran into someone, "Oh, sorry about that."

"Don't worry about it." The man said. But when she jogged to reach her friends, the man looked back, grabbed his black fedora which sat on his green haired head, and opened his right eye, which was yellow and resembled a snake. A sinister smile stretched across his face.

'This will be interesting'
