Leon, Angela and Claire came up to us and looked at all the chaos.

- What happened? - Kennedy asked, approaching the Wilpharma chief researcher.

- The trucks carrying the vaccines... - He answered still in shock.

- How much vaccine is left? - He questioned straight to the point.

The two women and I approached them.

- Everything we brought today was all we were able to scrape together from vaccine samples inside the company. - Frederick explained. - And most of that has just been lost.

- Where's the manufacturing data?

- You think they're after the data too? Downing asked.

- Could it be? - The senator interrupted. - Why don't you tell us what their demands are already?

Kennedy was silent.

- If you don't wanna talk, I'll just go directly to the President. - The politician threatened and the agent was seen with the sword in the neck against the wall.

- The truth. - He spoke.

- Truth? - Davis asked confused.

- They demand the truth. The viral weapon fron which Umbrella Corporation's T-virus was derived. They wanna reveal everyone from the U.S. government who was involved in this manufactured. - The blonde commented.

I kept thinking ... That means what happened in Raccoon City was caused by the government. What Leon is revealing may cost him his head.

- Was the government really involved? - Angela asked.

- All the proof went up in smoke along with Raccoon City. - Kennedy explained.

- Wait a minute, the truth didn't disappear, there never was any to begin with. - The senator spoke a little altered.

I could see the ash-haired one lowered his gaze, covering part of his face with one hand. I realized the senator was contradicting himself as they argued. It was certainly true what the blond agent had said.

- If they don't get that information, what will happen? - Claire interrupted.

- They'll disperse the T virus in every populated area of U.S. The deadline is midnight. - Leon answered.

- That's only four hours from now. - Angela informed.

- And there's no vaccine left. - The politician added.

- Can we find out who the terrorists are? - The chief researcher questioned.

- I have a clue as to the identity of one of them. - The redhead answered.

We all looked at her carefully.

- Right after the first infected victims appeared in the airport terminal, I noticed a man in the lobby. His name is Curtis Miller. - She explained.

- I know him, he's one of those bleeding hearts protesting the construction of the new research facility. - Senator Davis declared.

- If the terrorists demands are the release of information on what really happened in Raccoon City, then he might...

- It can't be. - Angela interrupted Claire and we looked at her strangely.

She was very worried.

- Curtis Miller is ... my older brother. - She spoke. - My brother wouldn't do something like this.

- He was arrested for threatening Wilpharma. - The senator argued.

- He just demanded that information be made public. - The agent defended him.

- Unfortunately the rest of the world doesn't see it that way. If you claim he's not a terrorist, why don't you bring him here to explain himself now?

Angela growled angrily and walked away. The five of us looked at her puzzled.

After a brief silence they all went their different ways and I was left alone watching the flames.

What am I supposed to do now?

I lowered my head and looked at my feet, one side no shoes. I closed my eyes and remembered how I lost it.

Only if I had grabbed his gun ... How didn't I notice? Was I really scared?

Damn it, how weak I am!

I sighed.

I walked briskly in search of Kennedy and found him next to the agent. She was equipping herself with various weapons and ammunition, which seemed very strange to me.

- So you're going to war and you didn't invite me. - I interrupted them sarcastically.

They both looked at me, but Angela was still in a bad mood. Leon approached me and we walked away from the woman.

- Take it. - The blond said removing money from his wallet. - Order a taxi and buy some new shoes. - He suggested.

- Are you serious? - I asked and took the money.

- Yes, then go to my department. - He gave me some keys.

- Your department? - I stared at him. - I don't even know the address.

He gave me a piece of paper where the names of the streets and the floor number were written.

- Leon, but... - I was going to say something, however I remained silent.

He's actually very fast, he calculated it very well. I knew perfectly well that arguing with helping him in this matter would be in vain. So I sighed.

- Were you going to say something? - He questioned.

- No. - I backed off.

- It's okay. Hunnigan knows you'll go to my department, so don't worry and feel safe. - He handed me a card. - In the drawer of the bedside table you will find a telephone, any emergency, just call.

- Understood. - I nodded.

I saw as Leon Kennedy walked away and climbed with Angela into the special response team van.

- Take care, blondie. - I mumbled and looked at the key in my hand.

I guess this would be better than getting into his job. I wonder what his department will be like? Will it be wide? Will it have secret passages? Hidden weapons?

I think I'd better stop thinking about it, it wouldn't be right to pry too much. I can't believe that a government agent entrusted me with his department. Wait, is it "his department"?

Anyway, I hope he got a playstation console and a couple of video games to kill the boredom.

I decided to walk keeping the paper, the card, the money and the key in my pocket.

I left the safe zone where the military and the doctors were, a few blocks later I found a taxi and got into it. I asked him to take me to the nearest mall.

Minutes later we arrived at the destination and I paid what was due for the service.

I went to the mall, it was a large place, with several stores and food stalls.

I could see on a screen the news about the incident occurred at the airport. Yes it was a catastrophe.

- Miss, how can I help you? - A guard approached me.

- Hi! I come shopping, as you can see, I need new shoes and new clothes. - I spoke to the uniformed man smiling. - Take it easy, I'm not here to steal, I brought money.

- I get it. Enjoy the place. - The guard nodded smiling and walked away.

Do I look so bad?

I arranged my hair with my hands and looked at my feet, let out a slight laugh and entered one of the stores.

There I bought sports shoes, a T-shirt and pants. When I changed in the dressing room I could notice the injuries on my back. I just made a face and finished dressing.

As I left the store, I saw the guard again and said goodbye to him.

I called for a taxi outside the shopping center and gave him the address of the department.

On the way I couldn't help but look at the moon through the car window, it was in its first quarter phase.

- It's beautiful isn't it? - The driver spoke.

- Yes. - I affirmed thoughtfully.

- Nature creates wonders and man creates monsters. - He opined.

Suddenly crossing the road I saw a tall, stocky man with long hair and a suspicious look. This one went to the main entrance of some buildings that were in the distance.

We left him behind and I barely managed to watch as he attacked two guards with a pistol. I couldn't hear the shots, but it intrigued me.

- Sir, did you see that? - I asked.

- See what? - He answered confused as he was driving.

In the blink of an eye I could see the words Wilpharma Corporation. That left me thinking for a brief moment.

- I need to know the time. - I spoke to the driver.

- It's ten p.m. - He answered.

I soon remembered Leon's words ...

"They'll disperse the T-virus in every populated area of U.S.""The deadline is midnight."

Damn, they're going to attack Wilpharma.

I warned the taxi driver to stop and paid him for his service. He was very confused, but I didn't have time to explain.

I got out of the car and ran to the main entrance, where I found the two dead guards.

Damn it!

Suddenly I could see a gray car coming my direction at high speed, I decided to hide behind the security booth so whoever was driving that car wouldn't see me. Unfortunately I couldn't see who it was and it moved away down the road.

When I returned to the bodies of the guards, I heard someone's voice on the radio of one of them.

"We have detected an intruder in the air dome building, at level zero, repeat, level zero, don't let him escape."

I took the radio and looked at some signs indicating the directions and the names of the buildings, among them one's written "Air Dome Laboratory."

I need to call Leon, damn it, there's no phone here.

I took a deep breath and then ran in the direction of the building mentioned on the radio.
