Unexpected Family

Sara begins to wake as the dull morning light begins to filter through the windows; she stretches her body and arches her back momentarily forgetting Emmett is next to her.

"Hey sleepy head"

Sara rolls over to find Emmett sitting up with his back leaning against the head board with a book lying open on his stomach.

"Good Morning" Sara replies around a large yawn, "did I sleep all night?" Sara asks.

"You sure did sweetheart…that little show downstairs must of really taken it out of ya" Emmett replies.

"Hmm" Sara just hums in response.

Emmett leans over to place the book on the bedside table so he can slide down on the bed and be eye to eye with Sara.

"You must get so bored just sitting here all night staring at me, why didn't you go to your own room…I mean I'm sure you rather be doing something else more interesting" Sara comments.

"Oh I did, I changed clothes and got the book at some point, but I want to be close to you" Emmett states quietly, "beside the family was otherwise occupied with their mates so…yeah"

"Oh" Sara huffs, a light blush coloring her cheeks, not sure how to take that.

"Um…wait how are you even reading in here, it's dark?" Sara asks

Emmett chuckles, "Vampire remember"

"Oh" Sara huffs again and lies quietly for a few minutes as she lets her fingers play and twist with Emmett's.

"Emmett"

"Hmm"

"Can I ask a kind of personal question?"

Emmett just hums his agreement.

"Um…your siblings are all mated right?"

"Ah yeah, Mom and Dad are to" Emmett answers confused on where this was going.

"Oh okay"

"Are they married or just together as mates?" Sara asks shyly.

"Married and Edward and Rosalie have actually done it several times over the years, but they like getting married then going to do the honeymoon thing for several months, traveling here and there seeing friends and acquaintances before they return home to the family" Emmett informs Sara.

"Oh"

Sara pauses to collect her thoughts again continuing to play with Emmett's fingers.

"Do you….ever…I mean have you ever thought….you know about…getting married?" Sara whispers.

Emmett smiles down at Sara. "At some point eventually when I finally found my mate….you?"

"Never before….but"

"But…." Emmett asks wanting to hear what Sara is thinking.

"But now" Sara sighs "I won't lie to you big guy it scares me to death, but now…."

"But now…" Emmett prompts holding his un-needed breath.

Sara gives Emmett a soft smile as her eyes lose focus, "I can see Sam and Emma all dressed up in fancy clothes Emma constantly twirling in circles as Uncle Jasper walks me down the aisle with a lace dress flowing white and flowers in my hair surrounded by family and friends"

"Sounds perfect" Emmett says as he brings their joined fingers up to his lips to kiss.

"Emmett"

"Hmm"

"I…I want to talk to your Dad about my files…I just don't want to lose this" Sara tells Emmett squeezing their fingers as her voice trembles.

"Sweet heart, you won't, I'm not going anywhere and if you want, Jasper or I can be with you when you talk to Carlisle, okay"

Sara lets out a sigh of relief, "Okay…thank you"

"Now how about a kiss to start our morning before the kids wake up and barge in here" Emmett says wiggling his eye brows at her.

Sara giggles, "Or the chaperones" causing Emmett to groan and Sara to start laughing.

"Come here big guy" Sara says still laughing as she wraps her arms around Emmett's neck as she pulls him down, their lips meeting their tongues lightly flicking at the others lips before they begin a dance of twisting and thrusting.

Sara moves her hands down to Emmett's neck and over his wide shoulders, grasping them tightly then back up into Emmett's soft thick hair. Emmett changes the angle of the kiss placing a little more force and dominance into it as one of his hand tangles into Sara's mess of curls that he loves so much and his other begins to travel from Sara's stomach and up over top of her shirt to her breast cupping it gently causing Sara to gasp and pull away from Emmett's lips, panting as she looks up into Emmett's black as coal eyes.

"Emmett" Sara whines

Emmett's thumb gently brushes Sara's nipple over top her shirt, back and forth till it is painfully hard and peaked, her body feels like it has fire burning through her veins with a need to rub her thighs together to relieve this sudden ache.

Sara is panting, frozen with this new feeling, "Oh god…Emmett" Sara moans as her body begins to react to his gentle but exciting touch.

Emmett releases Sara's breast and works his hand around to her back to pull her body tightly against his chest causing their legs to awkwardly twist together allowing Sara to truly feel him with only a thin layer of their sleep pants and a blanket between them.

"Emmett" Sara moans again as she brings his head back down to her in a heated kiss.

Emmett begins to growl and Sara's kisses become more fevered as she moves from his lips to his jaw then down his neck, over to his Adams apple before finding his lips again.

"Like that don't you?"

"Mmmm" Sara hums into Emmett's mouth.

Sara pulls away again, panting for breath eyes wide, "Emmett please….I need…" Sara whines out.

"What love, what do you need" Emmett growls as he finds that spot on her neck behind her hear making her cry out and arch into him…."tell me" Emmett growls again.

"I….I don't know….god please Emmett…I don't know what to do" Sara cries out sounding panicked.

Emmett looks into Sara's eyes and realizes he has pushed her farther than he should have, but doesn't feel guilty at all being able to see his mate in a frenzy of passion, but now has to help Sara find her release without going any further.

"Alright love, hold onto me" Emmett coos as he feels Sara bury her head in his neck sniffing his scent as she arms wrap tightly around his shoulders.

"Sara love I'm going to need to touch you, I will stay above your clothes is that alright?" Emmett asks and feels a nod of her head in his neck as she has begun to suck and chew on his neck causing Emmett to purr.

Emmett keeps his one hand in Sara's hair and the other begins to travel down Sara's waist and over her hip till he can maneuver under the blanket and slowly over her sleep pants to the apex of her thighs when he hears Sara gasp and grab his shoulders tighter.

"Emmett" Sara whines, panting her breath across his skin.

"You're okay love, you're okay, I'm right here. I'm going to make you feel so good….hold on to me….I've got ya" Emmett coos at this mate as his vampire preens inside of him.

Emmett slowly begins to move his hand and fingers against Sara's center, feeling her pulsating heat and wetness as her body begins to automatically respond to this touch with little rocking motions.

"Mmmm…Emmett" Sara moans into Emmett's neck as his hand begins to slowly speed up when suddenly Sara entire body freezes as she cries out digging her nails into Emmett's shoulders causing him to hiss in pain. Emmett watches as Sara's eyes flash a bright blue as her body trembles from her powerful release, the first of many, when suddenly the bedroom windows explode outward into the yard below raining glass everywhere.

Emmett looks over at the window, "Damn" then back down at Sara as she begins to come down from her release.

Sara releases Emmett's shoulders and rolls onto her back as Emmett hovers over her making sure she's alright.

"Sara" Emmett whispers as Sara keeps staring at the ceiling causing Emmett to begin to worry.

After a few seconds, but what felt like eons to Emmett, Sara exhales a large breath, "Wow" causing Emmett to snort out a laugh, "Your welcome sweet heart"

Sara turns her head towards Emmett raising her eye brow, "Oh don't get to cocky over there big guy till you survive the beat down your brothers are going to dish on you" Sara says with a panting giggle causing Emmett to flop down on his back and groan making Sara laugh even harder.

Sara sits up and leans over Emmett dropping a gentle kiss on his lips, "wait what about you…that seemed very one sided…do you…um….need"

Emmett huffs, "don't worry about it"

Sara is blushing hard again, "Emmett….but" Sara whines.

Emmett reaches up and pulls Sara down for a quick kiss, "we aren't there yet love, okay….trust me"

Sara sighs but appreciates Emmett's caution and patients "Okay for now if you're sure" Sara sees Emmett nod his head stiffly, "as wonderful as that was to start our day, I think I need to shower again and get ready for school so we can get the kids up and moving…so out big guy."

Emmett just huffed.

"Don't make me call your brothers buddy" Sara says as she slowly untangles her legs from the blanket and stands on wobbly legs, the feeling unfamiliar to her. 'God that was just with his hands' Sara thinks to herself forgetting that Edward would hear that as she looks at the busted out window and quickly fixes it before heading into the bathroom to shower.

After Sara had thoroughly showered, fixes her hair and applies a touch of make-up did she move into the kids room to get them up, dressed and down stairs for breakfast before everyone was packed up and heading off to school. Sara was quiet at the kitchen table paying most of her attention to the kids but she knew that the vampire family was watching her for various reasons, some with knowing smirks, some shooting heated daggers at Emmett.

At one point Sara scraped her chair back and stood up crying out, "WHAT?" which startled everyone making them jump and scatter except Emmett of course who was laughing at his siblings jumping at his spitfire, which Sara finds funny considering they are the big bad vampires.

Once breakfast is done and the dishes placed in the sink, the kids were loaded up into the station wagon with Sara driving and Emmett riding shot gun as they made their way to the elementary school to drop off the kids then over to the high school, finding a parking spot next to Edward's car as everyone made their way into the school and first period.

Sara takes deep breath, 'here we go, round two'

Sara steps into her first class of the morning finding Jasper once again already sitting at their desk but instead of giving her a welcoming smile he is staring out the class room window. Sara sits down quickly pulling out her books for class and sits in silence for about two minutes till she can no longer take it.

"Are you mad at me Uncle Jasper?" Sara whispers.

Jasper turns to look at Sara, "No" then turns back to continue staring out the window.

"What is it then and am I going to have to deal with this from everyone else, because I will be more than happy to go back home" Sara states firmly as she is starting to get a little pissed off at the holier than thou attitudes from the family.

Jasper continued to be quiet as was Edward in her next class. Alice and Rosalie were not as bad but by the time English Lit rolls around Sara is just about over all of it and glad to have a class that did not involve the Cullen's and then remembered she was going to be sitting with Angela today as well, good she could use a break and some entertainment.

During class Angela notices Sara is not her normal cheerful self and was doing a lot of huffing and sighing.

"You okay?"

"Yeah…just too many cooks in the kitchen if you know what I mean" Sara replied.

"Ah…yeah I can imagine it's a bit of an adjustment going from your little family to the Cullen's.

Sara sighs again, "Yeah I know they all mean well but….well it's complicated"

"We still on for lunch?" Angela asks.

"Absolutely" Sara answers as she puts on her bright smile.

When class was over Angela and Sara walk out together laughing and talking when they spot Emmett casually leaning on the wall of lockers waiting for them, "Ladies"

"Hey bud I'm eating with Angela today remember" Sara reminds him.

"Yep, just thought I could walk two lovely ladies to the lunch room" Emmett says with that big goofy grin.

Sara looks over at Angela who has a slight blush on her cheeks, "Come on how often do you find a handsome man willing to escort you anywhere now a days, it will defiantly get the tongues wagging" Sara says with a knowing smile and a wiggle of her eye brows causing Angela to snort and Emmett's grin to become even bigger knowing his spitfire is up to some mischief.

Emmett stand between the two girls holding his arms out for both of them to loop theirs through and the three of them make their way down the hallway, into the cafeteria and over to Angela's table.

"Here you are ladies, have a good lunch. Sara I'll see you in PE." Emmett says as he drops a kiss on her lips and heads over to his family table.

"Geeze Emmett, show boating a bit are we?" Rosalie asks but likes how happy her brother looks right now.

Emmett shrugs his shoulder, "Maybe a bit, but why not and I don't know what has crawled up all your back ends today but you better get it yanked out and yourselves adjusted before Sara does it for you…We are mates just like the rest of you…I didn't get all huffy when you have your private time…so knock this shit off…This is all new to her and it still scares her to death and you all are making her feel like she is doing something wrong when I know you all have done much more and I've had to listen to it or feel it when Jasper projects….so suck it up or I will take the Sara and the kids and go" Emmett finishes his rant at vampire speed before crossing his arms over his wide chest and looks out the cafeteria window but keeping Sara in his peripheral vision.

"Emmett…..brother look at me" Jasper asks as Emmett shifts his eyes to Jasper then back at the window showing he is listening but watching over Sara.

"She's our baby sister, this is new for all of us as well….you know it takes a great deal to change anything about us but when it happens it's monumental, please don't take her…." Jasper finishes with a whisper.

Emmett nods his head, "She needs us…she's still figuring out how this mating thing works and she needs her brothers and sisters to talk to…don't shut her out is all I'm asking"

"Okay Em…..we'll talk to her and apologize" Edward states.

"Good...thank you, now who wants to bet Bella is going to get something spilled on her today?" Emmett says with a knowing grin on his face causing the entire table to laugh and relax while they watch and wait for the fireworks to begin as Emmett sends a quick text message to Sara's phone.

While Angela is still introducing Sara to everyone that is sitting at the table she gets a message on her phone, pulls it out reads it and smiles as she looks over to the table of vampires tapping her chest twice and sending a message to Edward and emotions to Jasper.

"I know you all care…that's why I haven't had Emmett beat you up yet…" When Edward hears her thoughts he snorts and raises an eye brow at her smiling as he taps his chest. Sara watches as Emmett leans over to ask what she thought when suddenly lets out a bark of laughter causing Sara to giggle to herself when she receives another message on her phone. "Spitfire" and lots of hearts and simile faces.

Angela asks, "Emmett"

Sara smiles brightly showing the message to Angela, causing her to giggle to.

Sara was in the process of showing Angela her phone case telling her that her little brother picked it out with Edward and how excited he was for her to have it when three girls walk up to the table and slam down their trays as they sit down in a huff.

"Who's this?"

"This is Sara, she just moved here and we have English Lit together. Sara this is Jessica, Lauren and Bella" Angela introduces Sara to the gossip girls and Sara just smiles.

"So you're the new stray the Cullen family picked up huh" Lauren says her voice has a bite to it and Sara does not like her colors or Bella's for that matter, Jessica's seem to fluctuate with her surroundings, a follower….a door mat.

Sara just smiles and continues eating her lunch hoping Esme packed some cookies today.

"Why'd you invite her to our table Angela, she stole my Emmett from me" Bella whines sounding like a two year old causing Sara to choke on the bite of sandwich she just took. Sara reaches for her bottle water, taking a few gulps as Angela rubs her back to help her relax and catch her breath.

"Um…yeah no" Sara coughs out, "the way I've heard it through the rumor mill is you couldn't keep your legs together and Emmett didn't want sloppy seconds, I mean that's just what I've heard around here anyway and it's only my second day" Sara says shrugging her shoulder while smiling around her water bottle as she takes another drink and looks across the cafeteria at the Cullen table as they are trying hard not to laugh.

"Why you…" Bella starts but is stopped by Lauren with a hand on her arm.

"So you and Emmett huh, is that the going rate for taking in strays" Lauren spits her venom.

"Lauren" Angela says embarrassed that she brought her new friend to her table but Sara just pats her on the arm and gives Lauren her biggest smile.

"Oh little girl you are going to have to try harder than that to get a rise out of me, besides Bella isn't the only one I've heard about, you know high school is nothing but a hot bed of gossip" Sara says tossing a chip in her mouth, "Anyway, I heard that you've had to be seen several times at the hospital for what shall we say an itchy twat….lobsters was it…wait it was shrimp…no that's not quite right…oh now I remember is was crabs and then over half of the males in the student body including one teacher who no longer works here had to be checked" Sara says with an innocent smile. "You should just stick to the blow jobs darlin'…you know, let all that business heal down there besides you need all the extra protein you can get so I hear" Sara tells the table and is met with utter silence…making Sara smile and goes in for the kill. "Lauren is it…I think you have some white stuff in the corner of your mouth…right there" Sara says pointing to her own mouth, Lauren covers her face and runs out of the cafeteria closely followed by Jessica calling after her. The silence remains for a beat or two when Sara hears Emmett letting out a loud bark of laughter before he falls out of his chair and on to the floor still laughing.

"Sara" Angela says but inside she is also rolling with laughter, god she wishes she could be strong and brave like her.

"What. I call them like I seem them, besides she started it" Sara says with a pout making Angela laugh and Mike and Eric to look oddly at the two giggling girls.

"Well I'm not that easy of a push over" Bella states.

Sara just arches her brow as she digs into her lunch pack pulling out a bag of cookies and sighs, "That's not what he said" causing the entire table to snigger.

"Well….he said I was the best he ever had and it's that stupid oaf's loss" Bells says trying to bolster herself up and make Emmett jealous.

Sara breaks a piece of the cooking and places it in her mouth to just let it melt on her tongue, "That's defiantly not what he said"

"Ah" is all Bella could get out folding her arms across her chest pouting, "Whatever you can have him… beside there are bigger and better fish in the sea" Bella states her jealousy thick in the air.

"Oh I plan on having him, over and over and over again little girl…and he's worth every sigh and moan and as for those fish in the sea make sure you cast your net wide just like your legs" Sara says looking over to the Cullen table and straight into Emmett's darkening eyes and smirks.

"Um" Angela coughs as she tries to bring Sara back to the conversation.

At the Cullen table Alice falls into a vision then quickly come out with a gasp, "oh shit"

Bella's temper rages out of control seeing red as she stands up, reaches over the table and slaps Sara across the face "You stupid stupid girl, all he wants is to get between your legs….just someone's whore is all you are…he's mine and when he's done with you he'll come crawling back" Bella screams at Sara who has completely frozen. The Cullen's feel the spike of power first as the overhead lights begin to flicker and the windows start to raddle.

"Emmett go…get her out…take her into the woods…go now before she brings down the building…she'll never forgive herself if she hurts somebody" Jasper yells out as the wind begins battering against the building while Rosalie quickly sends a message to Carlisle and Esme about what happened and may need some back up at the school.

Emmett runs at human speed over to Sara picking her up bridal style and heads out into the building wind, when he's far enough away from the prying eyes of the school he takes off into the forest at vampire speed till he finds a very secluded place so if Sara needs to let go and break things she can with no fear of anyone seeing or getting hurt.

Angela stands to follow Emmett and Sara to the door but is stopped by Edward as he just shakes his head.

"But"

"It's ok Angela, Emmett will take good care of her and she'll be back in school tomorrow I promise" Edward tries to sooth Angela reading her thoughts of sincere concern.

"I can't believe she did that" Angela whispers to Edward.

"Yeah…didn't see that coming" Edwards says glancing over at Alice as she has slipped into another vision then back out again.

"They'll be back late, the kids will worry" Alice says at vampire speed.

"Come on the bells about to go you need to head on to class Angela, she'll be alright" Edward says again.

Angela sighs and gives a sad nod, 'I really wanted to be her friend' Edward hears in Angela's thoughts.

"She is your friend Angela and I know she wants to be yours, don't give up on her" Edward states before turning away from Angela to join Rosalie and the rest of his family as they head off to their next class.
