Chapter 8: Phantom Dragon, Mirage Fafnir
"It was 2 on 1 match and we were nowhere near defeating him." Hikaru thought
"Whew free is still a monster." REntaro sighed
"And yet those two get him serious." Valt added
"Free! Wait!"
Both of them runs after him but found nothing of him
"He left to do his training don't worry." Valt approach them
"How do we beat Fafnir?" Hikaru thought as they walk and they arrive at Free's secret place
"Is he doing training?" Hyuga asked
"It's Zazen or what we used to call meditation." Rentaro said
"To put it simple a training to focus on mind." Valt said
"That is cool and all Brother do you want to join free?" Hyuga asked
"Yeah…" Hikaru said
"Then have fun! I'm going to BC SOL!" He shouted as he runs off
"Hyuga wait for me!" Valt shouted as he wants to do some special training on his own
Hikaru then followed Free's pose as he also does the thing and meditate
At BC SOL
"Valt-san I think I'm loss at words." Hyuga said
"Why didn't you stick with your brother?" Valt asked
"Because I don't want to disturb his training and I will get scolded for dozing off." Hyuga said
"I see for a little brother you are really considerate." Valt smiled
"Because Hikaru is far more stronger." Hyuga said
"I see… then what do you want to see in BC Sol?" Valt asked
"Hmmm I was hoping to see something more but first I need to make something as a trump card." Hyuga said
"That is why you don't want your brother to follow you?" Valt asked
"More like the exact opposite because I know free lost to a rookie blader." Hyuga said
"You know too?" Valt asked
"Yeah…" Hyuga smiled
"Then the first thing we might do is…" Valt said as they go into the training room where they meet an old grandpa and also someone who is familiar with Koryu Drum
"I need to get stronger I only have some days left here before meeting drum and amano again." A boy with emerald hair said s he was doing his launcher dominance
"Hoi Delta you're here!" Valt shouted
"Valt-san? I'm sorry for coming here on a sudden note." Delta said
"Would you mind getting ready for the next test?" Another boy appeared he appears elegant while wearing a lab coat he is one of Koryu Drum's Rival
"Oh… so this is Gwyn…" Valt said
"Pleased to meet you Aoi Valt and Delta your speed is degrading put more into your weight when launching you don't want to disappoint drum or amano do you?" The boy they called Gwyn said
"You are as strict as ever." Delta laughed
"Hmmm…." Gwyn then looked at Hyuga and saw lots of quotation just like he always do

"Want to battle me?" Gwyn asked
"Yeah!" Hyuga shouted
"The battle will be 2 points got it?" Delta asked as the two nodded
"This is super hyperion a sparking bey huh?" Gwyn saw Hyuga's bey and looked seriously
"It's an attack type and also the edges implements for a surging fight but will he know it?" He thought
"This is eclipse genesis huh cool it's all white and what is this?" Hyuga thought his appearance seems not the same it has a burst preventor just like the Chozetsu system but it's more complex
"Show me your Sparking bey!" Gwyn said as he gets excited as both of their beys launch first off hyuga done the sparking shoot as Genesis takes the center Hyperion hit it hard as he attacks and attacks
"Interesting… But is that all?" Gwyn asked
"No this is just starting!" Hyuga shouted as Hperion still attacking
"Eclipse Pulse!"
Genesis brought out a shockwave as Hyperion attacks but Hyuga then uses hyperion's avatar to keep it floating

"Let's go Hyperion!"

Hyuga thought as the bey clash
"Super Strike!"
"Superior Big Bang!"
The two clash but it's clear hyperion is weaker and it burst but Gwyn looked happy
"You're interesting Asahi Hyuga but you aren't ripe just yet you still have potential." Gwyn gives him his bey back
"He is strong." Hyuga looked at the engineer
"You don't have to go all out on him like that." Delta said
"I can't get hold of it that long after all drum has been so busy and you always mess up." Gwyn is having an argument with Delta
"OH yeah from you're your outfit are you an engineer?" Hyuga asked
"Yeah." Gwyn replied
"I know we just met but can you teach me?" Hyuga asked
"It's gonna take time but do you have the time though?" Gwyn asked
"My brother is still having his training so I can spare I need to get stronger." Hyuga said as Gwyn saw something that he seen once before with drum a missing equation
"Got it I'll show you the rope after all I want to see your growth." Gwyn said calmly
"Heh that fast?" Delta asked
"Then while you are here would you accompany me for a battle Delta?" Valt asked
"Sure…" Delta said
"So this is the basics…" Gwyn said as Hyuga is taking notes
Meanwhile with Hikaru
He was so focused on meditating when he woke up to not find free there as he goes up more to the forest and he then see Free who climb up the vine a Hikaru followed
"Woah…" Hikaru shouted as he flew up the vine falling a few times until he got an idea to use the force of the tree to at least gain some ground but as he wanted to jump on the second vine he can't as he tried to catch another vine it suddenly broke but he was catch by someone it's none other than Delta
"Delta you're here I thought you are on victories?" Free asked
"I'm just playing here before going back that's all after all I was sent here to help in need." Delta said
"Who are you?" Hikaru asked as he let him off
"He is Akane Delta former member of BC Sol." Free said calmly
"Oh you are Asahi Hikaru huh?" Delta asked
"How did you know who I am?" Hikaru asked
"Your brother is worried about your training with free I've just come here to fetch Rentaro that is all.." Delta sighed
"Now the next one is 1 v 1." Free said calmly as he look at Hikaru
At the stadium later on
"This is gonna be a fun battle." Delta said
"It would be a fine play for my research anyway." Gwyn said
"So what happen here?' Hyuga asked to Rentaro and Valt
"Your brother is having a match with Free…" Rentaro said
"Good luck brother!" Hyuga shouted
"Where were you?!" Rentaro asked
"S-E-C-R-E-T!" Hyuga smiled
"Valt you are with him tell me!" Rentaro said
"Not gonna tell hehe Special Training.. Special…" Valt said as both Hyuga and him giggled
"Show me prove that you are worthy to be my opponent." Free said
"I'm starting with a sparking shoot would you keep up?" He said
"Of course I can!" Hikaru answerd
"Ready Set!"

"1!"
"Go shoot!"
"Hikaru is totally calm." Valt said
"It's because of his training." Rentaro said
"Not bad." Free said
The two bey head neck to neck as they clash at each other but helios takes the center
"Heh a stamina battle with Fafnir huh." Free smiled
"I like this." He continued
"Go Helios!"
"Zone Counter!"
Helios counters Fafnir up as both their stamina is almost up helios with Hikaru's force manage to win the battle by Over finish
"By mere seconds that kid isn't bad.' Gwyn said
"Do you calculate this?" Delta asked
"Of course… 1 in 10 chance but next play is gonna be different." Gwyn said
The next battle is different as Free changed his behaviour of bey while hikaru didn't
The next battle went on untouched as Fafnir does a burst finish with a mirage claw that ended with him smiling as Hyuga saw Fafnir in his image
"He is as strong as he said." Hyuga looked excited
