Lucy looked in the mirror and an applied her makeup carefully, she put on a new Christmas sweater with her tan dress slacks. Then she went to go pick up Rachel for the Anderson Christmas Party, she rang the doorbell happily and excitedly. Rachel answered the door.

Lucy said: "Hello Rachel you look very pretty."

Rachel said: "Thank you, so do you."

They went to the party and they had the best the time there. There were several people singing; Rachel and Lucy sang Let It Snow together in front of everybody, the duel impressed even Cooper Anderson.

Lucy introduced Rachel to everyone she knew at the party as her girlfriend. She got some interesting looks but most people were just very polite. Rachel and Lucy kissed a couple times under the mistletoe. They walked out the door to Lucy's car laughing the whole time.

For New Year's Eve Lucy and Rachel got all dressed up and went to Rachel's dads New Year's Eve Party with Rachel's family and friends. She met the New Directions and Blane Anderson was there with Kurt. Lucy asked Britney if she had any predictions for the new year. Rachel gave Lucy a confused look, she never heard anything about Britney being psychic.

Britney replied: "Yes prom will be interesting for all of us this year, we will all be singing together. None of our dates will be who we would expect them to be right now. I will be wearing green, Rachel will be wearing pink, and you will be wearing blue."

Rachel said: "I might be wearing pink; I don't think the rest is right."

Lucy asked: "Anything else?"

Britney replied: "Yes I'm going to love your school's production of Bye-Bye Birdie this spring. You will be playing the part of Chris, um wait no…you'll play Kim."

Lucy said: "I hope so."

Lucy and Rachel kissed at midnight it was the best New Year's Eve either of them ever had. That would be true for a long time.

The rest of January just flew by Brittany was right about Lucy getting the part of Kim. Lucy was really enjoying the rehearsals. She and Rachel were getting along well, they talked almost every day and they hung out on the weekends. February had started off good for Lucy until two days before Valentine's Day. Rachel showed up unexpectedly at Lucy's house and when Lucy opened the door and looked at Rachel's face, she could tell that something was wrong. Rachel came into the house.

Lucy asked: "What's wrong, Rachel?"

Rachel answered: "I kissed Finn."
