Amazon Scouts On Stage

A/N: Just a heads up, some of the chapters I previously listed in one of the last chapters will have a little bit of a switch up since I have now added in the Outer Sailor Scouts into the Dead Moon Circus. I will get back to what I originally planned in the next couple of chapters. I hope you enjoy this latest chapter!

Chapter 7- Amazon of Fear

Elysion

"You alright Helios?" Darien asks the young man before him as he watches the mist disappear from his line of sight. He just couldn't believe that Helios would let out his anger in trying to get Rini to snap out of her trance she was in. As far as he knew for his priest friend in the past, Helios was a very kind and patient man in appearance, never would lay a hand on anyone except to defend himself. It was probably a good thing for him that he didn't leave with Pallas and Ceres just yet when Helios needed him the most. However, he just couldn't keep it out of his mind that Helios went in to try to kiss Rini to get her to snap out of it. Darien knew a long time ago that he was going to be a father to Rini in the future, and he struggled with the thought of strangling Helios for going to fast in making a move on her or not without his permission. But then again, perhaps the reason why Helios did what he did was because Rini blindly pushed his buttons when she wasn't supposed to.

Darien felt angry at the spell that took over Serena and Rini. He just couldn't imagine himself going straight up to Serena and slap her across the face to snap her out of it. If Serena was acting normal and got slapped by him she would have broken down easily and ask him why he was being mean to her. But that girl he loves was not in the eyes of the circus girl who took her place. At least he tried to act like a dad to Rini in scolding her for her behavior, but no matter how harsh he was to her, she acted like she didn't care about what he said. Something horrible was poisoning her mind from the inside, and he hoped it wouldn't come to the point where he and Helios would be forced to kill her and Serena just to protect the world from their dark fantasy in the circus. But the one thing he was comforted by is that Rini is trapped in Elysion and she doesn't know how to get back to the circus. At least he hopes that she doesn't know how to get out.

Helios spoke softly, his voice broken in shame. "I'm fine, Darien. I just...can't believe that Rini would not recognize me. I failed to save her. My precious maiden... I failed to protect you when you needed me most." His tears roll down his cheeks and they drop down to the water. He raises his hands up to wipe away his tears, wanting to appear strong to Dairen, but he couldn't hold it together. Dairen understood that his friend really cared about Rini and wanted to reassure him that they will get the girl back to normal.

"Hey! Everything will be alright Helios." Darien said in order to comfort him, giving him a pat on his shoulder. "We will still save her in the end. You'll see. We just need to have a little faith."

Helios shook his head in denial. "You don't understand Darien! I'm afraid she is too far gone to be helped! You never seen how intent she is in just dancing with no one but death at her doorstep! Its some sort of obsession she is showing signs of!" Darien was confused by the notion that Rini, a girl who wants to follow in Sailor Moon's footsteps and save the world, is now a girl who can think of nothing else but dancing and death. He would rather deal with Wicked Lady a thousand times over than this new abomination that the Dead Moon Circus created in place of Mini Moon.

Pallas and Ceres overheard the pair of them talking and while they were focusing on watching over Mina and Amy who were still asleep, the pink amazon spoke up to interrupt them. "If you guys are done venting out your frustrations here, I think it would be best to head on back to the Dead Moon Circus and claim back another one of your friends before things get out of hand!"

Pallas spoke next. "Yeah! Let's focus on snapping the Sailor Scouts out of their trances and get them back to normal, then we will deal with Sailor Moon and Rini." Darien and Helios nod in agreement silently. Perhaps instead of worrying over what is going on with Rini at the moment, they should focus on weakening SerenSeren's Dead Moon Circus and take out Lita and Rei first. Darien understood that Rei will be quite a challenge to get close to, especially since she can control fire. It is Lita he has to be cautious on because he doesn't know if she will rely on her thunder and lightning powers at the circus. But the persona who is controlling Lita appeared to be peaceful when she is calm and it could hide a merciless intent of killing him without remorse.

Their chat was cut short when they spot Mina and Amy twitching their hands and their eyelids before starting to wake up. The girls stood up straight while lying on the ground and put their hands on their heads while sitting up straight. Amy was the first to groan softly, "Ow! My head!"

Mina winces when she felt her head burning for a moment. "What's with this headache?"

"Easy there girls." Darien gently urges them to take it easy since they were just brought back to normal. It was completely understandable that they had to deal with a little headache after when Darien and Helios literally knocked some sense back into them. "Helios and I came to rescue you from being stuck in the Dead Moon Circus."

"Why would we be stuck there of all places?" Amy coughs a bit into the crook of her left elbow. She appeared to be confused by what Darien was talking about.

Helios explains. "Because Queen Nehellenia of the Dead Moon Circus was tired of fighting against you and the rest of the Sailor Scouts and decided to turn you into one of her circus puppets, but as you can see... you girls seemed to have turned the tide and took the circus away from Queen Nehellenia and Zirconia by killing them in cold blood."

Mina's eyes widen in shock as she cradles her head to ease the headache she was feeling. "I feel like that was a dream we had. Amy was drowning Zirconia and the queen. Serena hypnotized them into confusion for brief moments to allow us the finishing blows on them. Lita brutally snapped their backs and necks in half. And Rei burned them in the fire in front of us. And I made the other amazons act like puppets in following along with our orders."

"That wasn't a dream girls. You were living it." Darien said as he put his hand on Mina's arm to try to comfort her.

"If we were living in that dream, then that means the other girls are still at the circus," Amy states as she looks around frantically for any sign of a way out of Elysion. "We have to go back there and rescue them!"

Helios stops her from trying stand up in the water. "No! Leave them to me, Darien and the two amazons we rescued from the circus. If either you or Mina goes to the circus, would you expect SerenSeren to leave you out of being hypnotized again? You were Love's Eye and Water's Eye respectively and I am not taking the chance of you girls getting into trouble just to try to save the rest of the girls. You don't really know what the Amazon Scouts are capable of, and I don't want to empower them further by bringing you girls over there to help us." While Helios was talking to Amy and Mina, Pallas and Ceres were looking into their amazon balls and noticed something that made their eyes widen in dread. They almost wanted to interrupt Helios before Darien did the favor.

"You girls will be safe as long as you two stay in Elysion and recover from the hypnosis you were under." Darien adds. "And... if you are able, try to keep your eyes peeled on Rini if she shows up to try to reclaim you. Right now she has vanished into the outskirts of Elysion trying to find her way back to the circus. But I warn you that she is not herself."

"Um guys, sorry to interrupt the moment, but we have a big problem at the circus right now." Ceres was brave enough to cut the boys attention away from the recovering Sailor Scouts and points to her yellow amazon ball.

"There are some new amazons working for SerenSeren." Pallas chimes in a worried tone of voice. Curious over what the former amazons were talking about Helios and Darien turn their attention to Ceres ball to see what's going on.

Darien's voice trembles once he saw who the new amazons were in the picture. "Serena got the Outer Sailor Scouts!" From what the ball shows looking into the circus, Amara looked different in a circus suit. Darien had thought that he would never catch that Sailor Scout dead in a woman suit. Amara always had a thing for guy clothes. The suit she had on was a dark blue suit with some shorts on her legs. Dark blue sandals could be seen on her feet. The shorts were attached to a long dressy skirt that would sometimes cover up her legs but its main use was to cover the back of her legs. The top half of her suit had long sleeves and two light blue plates on her shoulders. On her chest was a bright yellow stone. Her dirty blond hair became bright like the sun. In the center of her forehead she has a dark blue stone. Darien honestly thought that Amara wouldn't go down without a fight but it seemed to him that SerenSeren managed to overpower her. He had mixed feelings on whether to laugh at the state she was in, thinking that she deserved it for bullying Sailor Moon back when the Death Busters were a threat or to feel sorry for her that she is now SerenSeren's slave to work at the circus. He couldn't think to put his worst enemy in something as cruel as SerenSeren's new Dead Moon Circus, even they don't deserve that.

Trista changed the most out of them. Darien felt sorry for her the most since she always helped him and the Sailor Scouts out of their situations with the Black Moon Clan and the Death Busters. Her long green hair was tied up in a braid. A dark green stone is shown on her forehead. Her dress was a mix between dark green and purple in between the dress lines. Green ribbons attached to her shoulder pads along with some high heel shoes hidden underneath that big dress. Perhaps once he gets back to cleansing the girls from the circus he thought about going in to rescue her first because she can be a big help in getting past the other amazons by stopping time for a while.

Michelle looks unearthly beautiful in her new circus swimsuit with some scales on her chest and skirt. She wasn't wearing any shoes on her feet. Perhaps since she looks like she took a dip in the water, the shoes were put somewhere else in the tent. Her aquamarine hair got really long, almost identical to Mina's or Rei's hairstyle but it still had a long way to go before it reached that length. Alongside the dark blue shoulder pads she had a clam necklace around her throat. A dark aquamarine stone was lodged in her forehead. Like how he felt with Amara, Darien had mixed feelings over whether to think that Michelle deserved what's coming to her for being an accomplice to Amara's bullying of Sailor Moon or to feel sorry for her because she was the more sensitive one of the couple. Maybe he should think to change his plans on freeing Trista and free Michelle and Amara as soon as possible.

Hotaru's appearance took Darien by surprise because the last time he saw her was when she was Sailor Saturn and her rebirth as a baby after when Pharaoh 90 was taken care of. A purple stone is shown on her forehead along with a purple stone on her throat. She had dark purple earrings on her ears. Like Michelle she had a dark purple swimming suit with the scaly skirt however the middle part was a dark red and her chest design was more pointed and it looks to have blended in with her dark purple shoulder pads. She had a small dark purple cape and her legs had purple straps going down to meet her dark red sandals.

"Do you know them Dairen?" Helios asks, snapping Darien out of his trance by shaking his shoulders.

Darien blinks for a bit before he responds. "Yes I do know them. But the thing you should know is that the Inner Scouts and the Outer Scouts didn't really get along with each other when we were focused on fighting against the Death Busters. Sailor Moon wanted to protect everyone and find the golden chalice while the Outer Scouts tried to find the golden chalice to fight against the Messiah of Silence, not caring a bit if someone died without their pure heart crystal." Helios looked visibly confused by what Darien was talking about but he nods his head.

"Those girls are meanies then?" Pallas questions Darien, her face changing to a pout.

"Only two of them," Darien clarifies by putting up two fingers with his left hand. "The ones who go by the name of Sailor Pluto and Saturn are the nice ones of the bunch. That is the girls in the green and purple suits we are seeing right now. Its the other two that I am not a big fan of personally."

Ceres comments while she is looking at the ball in her hands. "I'd agree with you. That dark blue girl is now sneaking into Tiger's Eye's old room and putting on his clothes after her performance was done! Zirconia never allowed us quartet to try on anyone else's clothes!"

Darien rolls his eyes under the mask, not surprised at this at all. "Amara always liked to wear men clothing and somehow I am pleased that the Dead Moon Circus didn't change that part of her personality."

"Odd." Helios murmurs, cocking an eyebrow at the thought. Ceres and Pallas agreed silently with a nod of their heads. "So girls, can you see what the new circus amazons are doing in their acts?" Helios turns his head to ask the amazons.

Pallas answers, studying the ball in Ceres' hands. "It looks like the time lady is mainly in the circus to be a victim of the other amazons tricks. She is now demonstrating by going in a box and the death lady is sawing her in half."

Ceres rolls her eyes at her sister and tells the boys. "Time lady and death lady are her nicknames for Saturn and Pluto."

Pallas continues. "Air lady is an acrobat and loves heights. Ocean Lady is a water acrobat. Oh! And here comes Death Lady going inside a box and filling it up with cockroaches." Darien shivers over the thought of Hotaru being covered with those nasty bugs.

"Okay, uh... Maybe once it gets dark out we will head inside of the circus and get Amara, Hotaru and Lita out of there." Darien suggests, trying to keep calm and forget about the image of cockroaches crawling over Hotaru's body. "We better get back to work guys. Mina and Amy will have to stay put in Elysion until we come back."

"Hold on Darien," Helios stops his friend and explains a new idea that came to him. He is beginning to have second thoughts on leaving the girls by themselves in Elysion without the proper protection. "How about we put the Amazon Trio in charge of watching over the girls, recruit them back to our cause and have them guard the Sailor Scouts in case Rini tries to do anything dangerous to them?"

Darien snaps his fingers and smiles gratefully. "That's a good idea Helios! Get the Trio to come back and keep an eye on the girls as quickly as you can! Ceres, Pallas and I will wait in the sidelines of the circus and meet you there."

With that plan coming into motion, Helios vanishes from Elysion to find the former Amazon Trio while Darien and the two small amazons use the balls to properly sneak into the circus tent. They did have to wait until it was dark and the circus closed its doors for the night in order to take one or more of the girls out from the circus prison.

Once everyone made it inside of the circus hall of mirrors, Darien wondered which one of the girls he and the team would have to tackle first. Hotaru might be pretty difficult, considering that she is the Sailor Scout of Silence, so if SerenSeren was smart enough to keep the deadly factor in Hotaru, she could be pretty dangerous. Amara or Lita might be easy, but he suspects that he will have more of a problem with Amara than Lita.

Perhaps he considered that maybe he should take out the deadliest scout first before going after the easier ones.

While the rest of the Amazon Scouts were asleep in their new rooms, Darien and the rest of the gang spots one room is lit up. He could also hear whispers coming from the other side and he stops the two amazons and Helios from stepping in there to listen closely at the door.

"You are still up HotarHotar?" Darien hears Trista's voice in the background.

"I have work to do in getting my new tricks ready." HotarHotar spoke firmly, not fazed by the natural concern from her comrade.

"Well whatever you are working on with your cockroaches, worms and snakes, they require sleep as much as you do. I will be heading to bed. Goodnight HotarHotar." Trista said as she walks out of the room. Quick on his feet Helios made a magic spell to hide him and the gang blend into their surroundings and camouflage them so that Trista couldn't see while she walked past them. He and Darien almost lost their cool when she looks around as if she knew she was being watched. Their hearts were pumping fast as they braced for the girl to look past their trick, but thankfully she shrugs her shoulders and walks away from them.

Darien breathes out a sigh of relief. "For a moment there I thought I was a goner." He whispers softly to make sure that Trista didn't hear him. "Well, we better get Hotaru out of there."

"But what if she tries to attack you?" Ceres questions in concern.

"I don't know, but I hope to make her see sense in allowing us to return her back to normal." Darien explains the best he could as he and the rest of his group sneaks in to HotarHotar's room. Inside of the room Darien could see that there was a couple of glass coffins that were empty and the glass bowls hanging around on top were filled with spiders and worms. He could detect a cold chill coming from the room and turns his gaze to see a pit in the room that is frozen solid in ice and a tunnel on the other side of the pit. What that tunnel leads to or what is waiting for him in there, he didn't know, but he didn't want to find out.

Hotaru, or HotarHotar as she is called in the circus was not watching them, instead she had her back turned toward her list she was looking at in preparation for the next act she wanted to do. "I didn't think that we had some late night excursions at the circus. I thought that SerenSeren made sure that all of our customers were out the door by the time night shows up." She shrugs her shoulders when she felt their presence right behind her.

Darien tenses up and responds all the while staying on his toes, preparing himself for her attack if she has any. "Yeah, well, me and my friends are here on important business Hotaru. You need to leave with us now."

"Why on Earth would I leave when I have a job to do?" HotarHotar clicks her tongue in a 'tsk'tsk' fashion and stands up from her chair, putting her list down on the desk in front of her. "And why do you call me 'Hotaru'? I go by the name of HotarHotar, the Amazon of Fear. If you wish to have business with me, you will have to go through the challenges set before you. If you and your partner manage to succeed in my challenges, then I will listen to what you have to say." Her deathly calm personality made Darien tense up, wondering what sort of challenges she will put him into.

"What does an Amazon of Fear actually do in the Dead Moon Circus?" Helios couldn't hide his curiosity as he cocks his eyebrow in confusion. Ceres and Pallas decided to hide behind him in order to shield themselves from being spotted by the amazon in front of them.

"I bring nightmares inside of my customers dream mirrors when they are not looking." HotarHotar said as she brushes her hands on one of the snakes in the cage she has in her room. "But SerenSeren doesn't wish for me to have a little fun in giving nightmares, instead she wants me to help them face their fears by doing dare devilish stunts where even a normal person wouldn't have the stomach for it. You have a fear of spiders, I will go through a Tarantula tunnel and show you how the spiders work. If you are afraid of eating worms, I will do exactly that. Afraid of enclosed spaces with the animal you are afraid of, I will put myself in a coffin or cage and play with that animal. But enough about me... I want to know what exactly your fears are so that I can demonstrate for you."

Tuxedo Mask, Helios, Ceres and Pallas look at each other, not sure which one of them should speak first or not. Tuxedo Mask decides to cut to the chase. "Um... I would happily try out one of your challenges instead of telling you what I am afraid of."

Helios speaks next as he holds his hands over his gold crystal stuck on top of his head. "And I can go through the next challenge after him. But under the condition that you keep some of your creepy animals away from me."

Ceres quirks an eyebrow at Helios while Pallas is trying to suppress a laugh. "What? Is Pegasus scared of some spiders and snakes?"

Helios blushes madly at the comment as he admits. "Sure I do! Earlier when I was held as Queen Nehellenia's hostage she used some of those creepy crawly creatures to make me talk and I refused every single time!" He didn't want to confess that it was an embarrassing experience and he didn't want to go through that again.

They weren't sure whether HotarHotar was going to do, but she shrugs her shoulders as she shuts the lights off by a snap of her fingers, making the room dark for a few seconds before turning the lights back on again. The first thing the gang saw was some boxes hanging next to the ceiling and a rope tied to one end of the box. "Your first challenge is to open up these boxes. But your biggest challenge with what's inside the box is to not scream. The blue girl gets to go first with her box."

Pallas swallows as she steps forth from behind Helios and Ceres and she grabs the free end of the rope. She knows just as well as anyone in the circus that the rope is the key to open the door of the box. If only HotarHotar was a ball balancer like her then it would have been a piece of cake. She pulls on the rope, making the box door open from the bottom. Inside of the box was ten rattlesnakes. Tuxedo Mask and Helios looks away in dread, thinking that Pallas was not going to make it. Ceres was the only one to look on, narrowing her eyes and smiling.

It appears that Pallas was able to handle the rattlesnakes pretty well, biting down hard on one of them, making the other snakes flee from the scene as she sucks up the snake into her mouth like it was just a piece of spaghetti. "Mmmm... Tastes like chicken!" The blue amazon said with a smile.

HotarHotar appeared to be impressed with the girl as she gestures for the next contestant to take one of the other boxes. "Let's see if you can handle what's in the next box. Take a hold of the rope and open to see what's inside." Ceres decides to take on the next one so that Helios and Tuxedo Mask could be prepared for their turn. Ceres pulls on the rope and opens the second box, revealing a big huge anaconda falling on top of her. At that time Helios and Tuxedo Mask shielded their eyes as they heard the sounds of the snake devouring the pink amazon right there on the stage. Helios shudders as he takes his hands off his eyes to see that the snake ate up the girl, but despite the tight situation she was in, she raises her right hand up while inside the snake.

"I am NOT going to scream!" Ceres said, even though they couldn't see her face, they presume that she has a determined look. Pallas uses her blue amazon stone to teleport Ceres out of there. One second she was inside the snake, and then the next Ceres was out. Her flower on her head unfortunately wilted as soon as she was out, signifying that the flower was ruined.

Next was Tuxedo Mask as he looks back at Helios while HotarHotar leads him toward the third box. "Can we just switch to a new challenge? This is giving me Fear Factor vibes." He asked this to the Amazon of Fear, trying to snake his way out of doing the snake box challenge.

"Not yet. We are just getting started." HotarHotar said as she helps him clasp his hand on the rope. "Do exactly as the girls have done and you will be done with the challenge."

Tuxedo Mask shivers as he clasps hard on the rope, almost breaking it from its seams. He pulls the rope and opens the third box, seeing thirty small green snakes falling out of the box like rain drops. He couldn't move as the small snakes bit him all around his body. "Snakes... Why does it have to be snakes?" He mutters, wincing at the uncomfortable feeling he had whenever the snakes bit him. He thought he something about the snakes was messing with his sense of smell. He wasn't quite sure what that was all about so he thought it would be best to ignore it for now.

HotarHotar brushes the snakes off of Tuxedo Mask, placing the small snakes back in a glass coffin. She turns to Helios. "Its your turn now."

Helios looks a bit squeamish at the thought like he was about ready to puke and trying to hold it in. "I'll pass out by the rope."

"Hmm... It looks like we have someone with a sensitive stomach on the snakes." HotarHotar nods in understanding as she goes to one of her glass coffins and takes out one boa constrictor from the pile. Its light brown skin glows under the light. "Very well, you don't have to do the snakes in the boxes. We will just hold the snake on your shoulders. Don't try to faint now, you only have to wear it for a minute then it will be over."

Helios takes a couple of deep breaths to calm himself while HotarHotar wraps the snake around his shoulders. He closes his eyes and counts silently from one to sixty in order to keep track of the time. "Just breathe in and breathe out. You are doing okay. I won't let the snakes hurt you. Its not in the job description for them to do so." HotarHotar assures him as he takes a few more breaths. Thankfully HotarHotar kept her word that the snake was on him for just a minute and she unwraps the snake from his shoulders. Although there was something strange going on with his senses that is intoxicating him. He thought the smell on the snakes was strangely familiar, recognizing too late that the snakes had anesthesia on their skin.

He tried to speak but his voice box couldn't find the words. Turning his gaze to see that Ceres and Pallas fainted from the same sleeping gas on their challenge with the snakes and Tuxedo Mask was lying unconscious on the floor. This was a trap and they fell for it. The anesthesia got the better of him and it makes him collapse to the floor as well.

As soon as the trap was done, LitaLita and Wind's Eye came into HotarHotar's room to take the intruders to their cells deep in the circus. HotarHotar looks on as she watches the group being taken away. From somewhere in the room, she could hear SerenSeren chuckling in the darkness. "Hehe! Well done my Amazon of Fear. You have a talent for dragging the boys and our traitor amazons through the worst scenarios of their nightmares."

HotarHotar snaps, not at all pleased with what had to be done. She didn't think that being in the circus was going to be that bad, but she always thought that there was something off about her condition. She did want to find out who she was before the circus, she couldn't deny her curiosity for it, but her loyalty to the New Dead Moon Circus comes first. "Shut it! It was the fastest and most effective way of getting them to drop their guard! If I didn't keep them distracted, there would have been loads of trouble with that boy in the tuxedo! Do you honestly think I am happy to do this to them?! There is something about that boy and I can't help but feel that he is trying to bring us back to the light. I am ashamed that we are feeding off the darkness of the circus!"

"Don't be ashamed of doing what you must to protect your Amazon sisters from outside threats. The hard part is over. You have done what Love's Eye and Water's Eye couldn't accomplish; to teach the boys a lesson in leaving us alone." SerenSeren says as she can be seen hanging around with a crescent moon ring in the air. "Now that they are captured we can just hold them in the cells and keep them there until they wither and die. I will come by to see them later and interrogate them on where they took my daughter. Now all you can do is relax HotarHotar. You earned a break from luring the boys into my trap."

The lights in the room went out for a moment and then came back on, showing that SerenSeren vanished from HotarHotar's room all the while hearing her laugh echo in the tent. The Amazon of Fear couldn't deny that she did her job to the best of her ability but at least SerenSeren was happy to get those boys out of her hair at the moment. She did well for her leader. "Yes... I suppose I earned it." She said quietly with a smile on her face.

It was time for her to head for bed and get some shut eye, though before she could fall asleep, she extracts her dream mirror out of her body by using her Amazon Stone to pop it out of there and deliver some nightmares into her own dreams. Though while the dream mirror was out, the lights around HotarHotar's room went out and she felt that time itself was freezing up around her. She couldn't move in the darkness as she felt someone taking the dream mirror and extracting the nightmares out of it, purifying it till the mirror looked normal instead of deformed. She couldn't see who was working in the shadows against her but she could a whisper that said. "Time... I command thee... Stop!"

(An hour later)

"Hey! Can you boys here me? Come on snap out of it!" Tuxedo Mask heard a voice trying to reach him in his sleep. At first he thought he was dreaming, but after receiving a slap in the face by someone he opens his eyes to see that he was in a cell with Helios. But he was surprised to see that someone else was currently in the cell with them; Trista. What she was doing there he didn't know. She is just staring at them from the other side of the bars. Tuxedo Mask looks around silently wondering where Ceres and Pallas was, but couldn't find them in the cell. Were they taken somewhere else in the circus? It could be possible in their case because they were still in their amazon looks.

Helios was struggling on waking up as he tries to stand. Upon realizing where they are, Helios widens his eyes awake. "We are in the cages. How did we get here? We were doing so well in Hotaru's fear challenges... Of course I remember now! That challenge was nothing more than a trick!"

"But why are you here Amazon?" Tuxedo Mask eyes Trista warily. "Did you come here to gloat and taunt us about how we failed? Did SerenSeren put you and Hotaru up to it to trick us and make us suffer?"

"I refuse to be a part of any trick that asks to cause harm to another person. Please believe me Darien, I am here to help you get out of here!" Trista said. "I may look like an Amazon but I have shielded my mind against the darkness of the circus, no matter how alluring it gets in trying to tempt me to forget myself. I am still the Guardian of Pluto and of time. The circus may have given me the name of TrisTris but away from prying eyes I still call myself Trista because that is who I am!"

Tuxedo Mask blinks his eyes under his mask, surprised that Trista is going to help him and Helios get out of the cells. "But... How are you able to bypass the spell that SerenSeren cast on you and the Outer Scouts?"

"To answer your question Darien, I was only able to put a wall between my mind and the spell that was cast on me, helping me to stay true to myself as a Sailor Scout. My mind may be normal but my body is used for the circus and its twisted games. I was always used as the person who climbs into a box, ready to be sawed in half and tied to a wheel where I could have been stabbed by throwing knives at any moment. I didn't have enough time to protect the others from that same fate. But I do hope that I can remedy that by giving you guys an extra hand in getting through the circus without getting caught while taking down the Amazon Scouts one by one." TrisTris answers honestly. "SerenSeren is not the Serena I knew back in Crystal Tokyo. She is a powerful manipulative snake whose willing to use people to get what she wants in the circus. And I thought that Prince Diamond of the Black Moon Clan and Wise Man was bad enough! Any who try to stand against her are destroyed in the circus... The worse thing she could do is try to humiliate her opponents and torture them for information. There is a secret passage around the cages if you use some magic tricks up in your sleeve as well. You can use your hat or your cape for your disappearing tricks if you wish, but I suggest you hurry and get yourselves out of here pronto! For if you hang around here too long, SerenSeren might return to interrogate you on where Rini-or RiniRini- is. She tried once before while you were unconscious and she was about to look into your dream mirrors to find her but I convinced her to save the interrogation for when you are fully awake. I was told to let her know when you were ready, but I want you to make it convincing that you guys have snuck out of here. Put me in your place to make my plan work in your favor."

Tuxedo Mask blinks his eyes in astonishment. Trista's plan could actually work if he and Helios made it convincing. "Do you know where they took Ceres and Pallas?" He asks quietly.

"The Amazon Scouts put the girls under house arrest and has JunJun and VesVes watching over them. I overheard the girls thinking they should reuse the girls as stunt doubles for their shows as punishment for betraying their circus family. Rest assured that they gave up on going after the Amazon Trio since they broke off against the circus' hold." TrisTris answered. Tuxedo Mask and Helios sighed in relief at the news about the Trio being out of the line of fire for now.

Remembering that the Trio gave him and Helios the means of getting out of their prison, Tuxedo Mask decides to use his cape for a disappearing trick. He took his cape off and holds it up so that it would block TrisTris' line of sight and then in the next moment when he reaches upwards over his head with the cape their bodies vanished inside of the cage. TrisTris reaches into the cage to get the cape and pulls it out, holding it out in front of her as she does the exact trick that the boys did before, only when she drops the cape to the floor the boys reappeared outside of the cage. Next up the boys held the cape over TrisTris and made her vanish in front of them. Helios had to find a stick long enough to hold the cape and reach into the cage in order to bring TrisTris out from the magic trick. Once the cape was in the cage TrisTris reappears in Darien and Helios' place, giving them back the cape.

"Before you leave, you must know that HotarHotar is now in your grasp to purify her dream mirror. I froze her in time in case you are planning on returning to bring karma to her for tricking you." TrisTris whispers, making the boys think about going after the Amazon of Fear and bring her back to her senses.

"Thank you Trista. If we can we will come back for you. I promise." Tuxedo Mask said as he and Helios head out of the prison. TrisTris remains behind in the cell waiting for the next part of her plan to be completed.

It didn't take long for Tuxedo Mask and Helios to find their way out of the cells and run back to HotarHotar's room, and from what it looked Trista wasn't joking when she completely froze the young girl in time. Her dream mirror was all covered with shadows vying for the dream mirrors attention. "What do you think we should use to purify her mirror Helios?" Tuxedo Mask asks.

"Since Hotaru's is covered with shadows, I say lets try out the Golden Crystal to shine the light." Helios said taking the gold horn on his forehead off for a moment as it changes its shape to form a crystal. Helios commanded the light to shine in another language and the light from the crystal burst forth in a rainbow of colors like a prism. The shadows fled from the light as the crystal purifies Hotaru's dream mirror back to normal. Alongside with getting the dream mirror back to its natural state, HotarHotar collapses on the ground and Helios watches as her amazon look vanishes like the shadows, but he blinks his eyes in shock over the change that came upon her.

"She turned back into a child?" Helios looks to Tuxedo Mask in confusion. "Does she do that often?"

"She was a baby the last time Sailor Moon saw her." Tuxedo Mask explains. He told Helios of the last time he saw Sailor Saturn after the death of Mistress 9 and Pharoah 90. "Hotaru must have had a puberty boost from being brainwashed as a amazon." He crouches down to feel her pulse on her neck and sighs in relief seeing that she was fast asleep and not dead. "Okay, we better get her back to Elysion with Mina and Amy." With that in mind the boys delivered Hotaru to Helios home with the rest of the girls for a moment before they set off to find the next Amazon scout to reclaim back from the circus.
