CH 8. An eventful encounter
Blake could be anywhere right now, she really could. All she had to do was use her semblance and she would be alone, unfortunately that would be rather difficult for two reasons. One, she is currently at a cafe with other people who could see her. 2…
"Ok, ok, so what you're telling me is that the bad guy, who is considered the most evil person in the galaxy, is actually the main character's father?"
"Not only that but he used to be good but was seduced to the dark side"
"Oh, allright. What happens then"
"Well essentially, they go rescue their friend, find killer teddy bears, and the son turns his father back to the light and they blow up the space station"
"That's so cool, how come remnant doesn't have that. Imagine all the people who would go and watch that movie"
"If it makes you feel any better I got both the OT and the PT back at beacon"
"You do! Blake we have to go back, this is a tate of emergency"
Blake sighed, she looked at her two companions. Sun Wukong and her teacher Adam Tyler, whoever named him that must have been dumb. She'd been out with the two for the past two days trying to find anything she could use to learn more about the white fang in Vale. unfortunately the two were so loud they might as well alert all of vale where they are.
"Do you know anything about the white fang?" Blake asked Sun
"Finally she speaks. I thought you would never say anything"
"You think that's bad, half of the time she's in class she either reads her smut or glares at me"
Blakes face flushed red. "I t-thought I hid it w-well?"
"Well to answer your question, all I know is that they're a bunch of fanatics who give us faunus a bad rep"
Blake lowered her head in shame, was this really what other faunus thought of them?
"I used to be part of the white fang"
"Sun, I used to be part of the white fang"
"Oh, well you changed right? You're no longer part of them and your you, right?"
Blake smiled at that, maybe some people don't have to be like the Schnee.
"Also she ran away from her friends and is now with you, which in my opinion is a major downgrade"
Then there's this little shit, shoo looked at Tyler and glared at him. He just whistles innocently
"I need your help, my teammates think that Roman is helping the white fang but I want to disprove them"
"So what you need is to find them doing something illegal and then prove they aren't doing anything with torchwick?"
"Yeah"
Sun and Tyler looked at each other and then at Blake. Blake realized what she said and had a bit of pink on her cheeks
"I think I can help with that" Tyler said "There is rumored to be an SDC shipment to arrive tonight, I think they might strike there"
"That works"
"All right a stake out"
The two faunus left the cafe while Tyler finished his cup of coffee. Before he left Tyler sent Jaune a message about that night's activity and to be on standby, and to pay for the two teens' food. When the waitress walked by she gave tyler an inquisitive look.
"You're paying for this? Where are your friends?"
"They left"
The waitress gave Tyler an apologetic look. After a bit Tyler was given the receipt and a small smiley face drawn on it. Tyler rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly and smiled at the waitress.
"Well, thank you for coming here. Also word of advice for the future, women like gentleman"
Tylers' blush increased tenfold while the waitress giggled behind her hand.
"BLAKE!"
"BBLLLAAAKKEE!"
"BLAKE, WHERE ARE YOU!"
Jaune looked at the three other members of team RW_Y, to say this was dumb is an understatement. Jaune was supposed to be finishing grading homework, but was able to escape by saying he had to use the restroom. Of course what he actually did was jump through the window and shimmy his way to team RWBY's dorm. Originally it was supposed to be JNPR's dorm but they're on the west and he was on the east side of the dorms.
"Why aren't you trying to help find Blake Weiss?"
"Because, why should I help try to find a terrorist. She lied to us about who she is, so why should I help"
"Because she's our friend Weiss, and we have to help her"
Soon enough Jaune could hear all three members of RWBY arguing amongst themselves. Jaune was wondering what was better, being here or facing Glynda's wrath. Jaune shivered at that, nope this was better.
"Arg, shut up all three of you!" The three girls were silenced immediately "Seriously what the hell, I expect this behavior from Ruby but not from all three of you. Look Weiss and I will go look for her on the west side of town, Yang Ruby, and Gingy can go to the east side of town"
Jaune then looked at the new member to join them, she was almost as tall as Ruby, she had orange hair and a pink bow, bright green eyes, and some freckles.
"Salutations"
"Umm, Hi?"
"Hi Penny"
"Greetings friend Ruby, Yang, Weiss. Where is the other one, the cat faunus"
"Cat Faunus?"
"Yes the one who wears the bow"
"Blake isn't a cat...ooohh" Jaune looked at team RW_Y as if they had an epiphany, all he could do was facepalm"
"Either way, it's nice to meet you Penny. My name is Jaune Arc, Beacons newest teacher"
"It is a pleasure to meet you Mr. Arc"
"It's Dr. Arc actually"
"Odd, I didn't know you had a doctorate"
"Come on Weiss, let's go. Wouldn't want to be standing here all day now would we. Bye good luck finding Blake!" Jaune panically said, dragging Weiss by the wrist, it's going to be a long day today.
It has been a long day for Tyler, when he expected to do a stakeout he expected it to be a bit more active. Instead all he has been doing is laying on top of a warehouse that overlooked the docks. When he took out his scroll to play some games, Blake took it from him. Apparently she didn't want anyone to track them down, even though Tyler told her that wasn't possible.
"You know I can't get tracked through my scroll, right?"
"Don't care"
"Ugh, what is your problem with me anyways. What have I done to you to get your ire, huh?"
Blake just looked away, Tyler threw his arms up in the air.
"It's not you, it's just that...you remind me of someone undesirable"
"Is it Adam Taurus?" Blake froze when he said that name "If it is him then your acting is really immature. Seriously i'm not him, i've never even met him or you before. But what happens, I just get the stink eye. I haven't done anything against you and you act as if I were the most evil person alive"
"I'm sorry"
"It's ok, I do have a bad temper but i have been working on improving it. Honest, just that people have made fun off me before. So I thought that when I got here people wouldn't treat me like that again, lo and behold your doppelganger is some murderer who is a member of one of the biggest terrorist groups to date. Sometimes you wonder if fate hates you"
"I'm really sorry I have been selfish and have been rude towards you. Umm, I hope we can put this behind us"
"Yeah, me too"
After a bit of silence They heard footsteps behind them turning around they saw Sun walk towards them.
"Banana?"
Tyler accepted one while Blake deadpanned at him
"Did you buy these?"
"Umm"
"Does everything have to be a crime with you"
"Hey, I'll have you know that I did buy something"
"Oh really?"
At that Sun threw Tyler a small box, opening it up Tyler took out a scroll case, on the back it showed the image of a monkey wearing a military helmet.
"My man"
"Ugh" Blake rolled her eyes
"What? Monkey see, monkey do"
"Thats racist"
"It isn't if he approves of it" Tyler pointed at Sun and he smiled back. Blake rolled her eyes at that. Tyler looked at the Docks, soon after the SDC container was left unguarded. Before they knew it the sound of propellers could be heard overhead and White Fang members began to move out. Cables were lowered and they hooked on to the containers. Leading the whole operation was one Roman Torchwick.
"Welp, looks like you were wrong Blake. Oh well lets head back"
Unfortunately, Blake had jumped down. Sun and Tyler looked at each other and jumped down as well, the two hid behind a container.
"Brothers of the White Fang, why do you have a human aiding you?"
Tyler inwardly cringed and looked at Sun. "Isn't that a bit racist?" Sun just shrugged at that. The two waited for a bit until they heard gunfire. Tyler pinged his Scroll to Jaune so that he may find them. Running from out of the cover Tyler drew an XM-4 assault rifle. He shot incapacitating rounds at some of the white fang grunts.
Looking around he saw Sun fighting torchwick with shotgun-nunchucks. However it was fairly obvious that Torchwick had the upper hand. Looking at some of the grunts he noticed one brandishing a cleaver and charge at him. Tyler pulled out a semtex grenade and threw it at him. It stuck and he blew up easy as that.
"Gahh!"
Tyler looked at Sun and some him about to get his face blown off. Pointing the assault rifle he shot at Roman. Of course because of aura the bullets barely did any damage.
"Really, you're gonna shoot me with that? What are you trying to tickle me?"
"Wasn't meant to hurt you"
Before Torchwick knew he got tripped by Sun's tail. Immediately after Sun shot him point blank with his gunchucks launching him back. Tyler ran up to Sun and helped him up, the hunter winced and looked at Tyler with a grin.
"This is gonna hurt for a bit" when Tyler said that he pulled out a needle. He jammed it into Sun's arm and pushed down then threw it away.
"Yeah, that did. What is it? An aura booster?"
"Stim Shot. Works wonders"
"Yup"
Blake was able to regroup with the two of them. Before they knew it the trio saw Jaune and Weiss rush into the docks followed by Ruby, Yang, and Penny.
"It's good to see you Jaune"
"Nice to see you too buddy"
"Well would you look at that, the cavalries here. I would like to stay and chat but I believe I have to bid you adieu"
Soon three more bullheads appeared out of the horizon, Penny however took out some blades and shot a laser at one of them bringing it down.
"Hey, hey Tyler"
"Yeah?"
"Imma a firin mah lazer. BWAHHHH" the two boys snickered at that.
"Well isn't that peachy" A rope ladder appeared before Roman. Just as he was about to get on a massive hand grabbed his leg and smashed him onto the ground. It held him upside down and from the shadows appeared a massive ape in a spacesuit. Tyler and Jaune's jaws dropped. They however were able to get out of their stupor and shot at it.
"What the hell are you doing, stop shooting at it" yelled a frantic Ruby.
"No, we have to kill that thing right now"
However the group was interrupted by a loud scream. Turning to the source of the scream the group saw Roman being smashed into the pavement repeatedly until they saw his aura shatter. Roman in a last ditch attempt swung Melodic Cudgel at it. Instead the ape bit into the can and crushed it. Roman only saw shear terror as the ape grabbed his head with one hand and then the other.
Jaune and Tyler shot at the apes face but it was unaffected. Romans screams grew louder until…
SSSSQQQSSSHHHH
Roman's corpse fell, what was once his head was now a bloody pulp. The ape roared out and beat his chest repeatedly. Juane and Tyler dropped their rifles and drew out their pistols. The ape didn't flinch, instead it grabbed onto the rope ladder and began to climb the bullhead. The pilot tried to shake him off but it was for naught. The ape made it to the top, the pilot in a last ditch effort drove into the other bullhead both exploding on impact.
It had been 30 minutes since the events at the docks. The police had arrived and apprehended the white fang grunts Tyler had disabled, a body bag was wheeled out, and some police were asking some questions from the young hunters in training. Luckily since Tyler and Jaune were present it could be chalked up to hunter business.
As the final students were being interviewed, Jaune and Tyler looked at each other and both had troubled expressions.
"So, Cosmic Silverback is here"
"Yup" Tyler said popping the P
"So, what now?"
"Well I think the best we could do is just continue to work at beacon but the best thing we can do now is try to find the kronorium. We can also put up a warning of a dangerous man killing aoe wearing a spacesuit"
"I don't think people would believe us"
"Yeah, you got a point"
The two looked at Blake and Weiss talking to each other and hugging.
"I guess they solved their problem"
"Solved mine with Blake as well"
"Neat"
…

…
…
"They're all getting detention right?"
"Yup" Jaune said popping the P
"And Mr. Tyler can supervise them. As for the two of us, lets just say we are going to have a rather relaxing week ahead of us"
Jaune froze at the coldness of that voice, turning around he saw the cold glare of one Glynda Goodwitch
"Umm, uh. Hi Miss Glyn. how have you been?"
Instead of responding a glowing aura surrounded Jaune and Glynda began to pull on his ear dragging him back to beacon.
Tyler sighed and looked at the docks, maybe it would be best to just kick back, relax and have the kids do some simulations on Monday.
That concludes Ch 8 of Unwanted Reality. All I can say is that this chapter has been a long time coming. I hope you enjoyed it and I know some of you may not like the fact that I killed Roman off so early on in the story, but it had to happen.

Blake waited outside of the hallway, she looked to her left and saw Yang and her dad talking to each other. To her left she saw Weiss and her older sister having a small conversation. A little bit down the hallway she could see Jaune with his parents, they seemed to be fussing about something. Blake was a bit sad, she had joined the white fang and abandoned her family. Now that she was out of it, she was too afraid to call them.
The sound of a door opened and out walked Ruby and a tall man who reeked of alcohol.
"Blake Belladonna. Your next" Blake sighed and waited for the inevitable question of why she was alone. Walking in Blake sat down in front of Dr. Arcs desk, all the teachers would be talking to her so it was only fitting to put him in the most lively room to say the least. After a bit of waiting Dr. Arc walked in.
"Hello Blake, nice to see you again"
"The same could be said for you"
"Before we begin I will have to ask you to be patient for a bit. We are waiting for someone"
Blake was about to ask who but the sound of the door swinging open alerted her. Turning around she saw her mother and father walking in. Blake was too dumbstruck that she unknowingly launched herself at them and into a warm hug.
"How is my little kitten doing"
"Mom, i'm not small anymore"
"Oh sweetheart, you will always be my little kitten to me"
"Nice to see you too sweetheart"
"Hi dad"
"Well then, now that introductions are out of the way I believe it would be best to begin"
The family of three sat down, Kali was fussing over Blakes bow while Ghira smiled.
"As you know I will be talking about Blake's work in my class and other teachers will walk in and talk about how she is doing in their class"
"Of course Dr. If I may ask how old are you?" Kali asked
"Um 15"
"Well then, how is a 15 year old working in Beacon?"
"I have a specific set of skills that apply to my class"
"Is that so, what may those skills be?" this time it was Ghira that asked
"Mom, Dad, can you please not interrogate my teacher"
"I teach the students about a new threat in Remnant, Zombies"
The two parents looked at each other with concern, Blake just buried her head into her hands.
"This isn't the first time people have questioned my class and it won't be the last. Tyler bring it in"
When Jaune said Tyler walked in with a hellhound on his tail. The belladonna Family jumped but the hellhound was shot by Tyler in the head with an RK5.
"As I was saying..."
It was nearing the end of the PTC and Jaune couldn't be any happier, the belladonnas were an amazing family to have, Qrow tried to pick on him but when you have the ever looming threat of 'I got a ray gun' that seems to calm the room. Taiyang was amazing to have. The Nikos were great and were worried a bit after their daughter's loss but not too much. The schnees he had to have Glynda help him on that one, apparently Jimmy wanted some 115 and there was no way in hell he was giving any to him.
Currently it's time for the last family, the Arc's. Oh what fun.
He saw Jaune walk in and his parents. When they froze it was obvious that they were staring at him. After a bit Jaune walked up and went to his taller counterpart.
"You didn't tell them?"
"I didn't think it was important"
Jaune facepalmed, while skyscraper smiled sheepishly.
"Um hello. Are you our sons teacher" Skyscrapers dad said
"Yes, and I'm also him from a different reality. My name is Dr. Jaune Arc"
"It would appear so" Big Juanes mother said.
Jaune however looked at his doppelgangers parents. He looked at his shoes and mumbled something.
"Huh, what was that"
"Um, c-can I h-have a h-hug?" tears were on the brink of leaking for Jaune. Mrs. Arc nodded and he ran up to them and hugged her. Jaune started to cry for a bit while Mrs. Arc rubbed his back.
"You miss them, don't you?" she asked
"Y-yes"
"Its ok, were right here"
In the end Jaune sat with his bigger self and his parents while they went through the rest of the PTC's. At the end they had dinner together and bid farewell to Jaune. Although they may not be his actual parents, he didn't care and was happy anyways.
