Chapter 7

A few weeks past and things with Alex and I were better than ever. Since we started seeing each other our friendship had grown closer. Now that I had expressed my true feelings I felt more comfortable with her again. Two- Bit was still begging me to bring her over so everyone could meet her.

I chuckled awkwardly as Two-Bit again asked "Bring her over. I know the rest of the gang would love to meet her."

"Alright, alright! Damn, we'll study here tomorrow then" I said.

Two-Bit turned to Soda and Steve "She's really cool"

I gave Two I a weird look "You've only met her a few times man"

He just laughed and said "That's enough to know shes cool"

"Weirdo" was all I could say

Soda and Steve just laughed at Two- Bit.

I went on to my room to finish homework. I could hear Two-Bit loudly talking about her as I tried to study.

The next morning I got to school earlier than normal. I smoked a little as I waited for her. She arrived only a few minutes after I did.

"Hey Soc" I said playfully as she arrived kissing her and putting my arm around her.

"Hi Greaser," she said, leaning into my arm.

We started to walk into school, people would still give us dirty looks. Two-Bit actually had showed up to school that day. He only had one class to complete before being able to barely pass out of high school.

"ALEX!" He said scooping her up into a big hug

"Hi Keith, Please put me down," she said.

Two-Bit set her down and scowled at her for calling him Keith.

"So you, coming by to meet the rest of the gang today? Pony said you were." Two said playfully

She looked at me and " Did you now?"

"Uhh.." I chuckled nervously

"No worries Pone. Sure Kieth I'll come by. I just have to be at the studio at 5. I just hope my dance partner actually shows up this time." She said slightly frustrated.

"Who would stand you up? That boy is a fool." Two- Bit said ignoring her again calling him Kieth.

"Well Pony he knows, my dance partner thinks he's hot shit." she said looking at me

"Babe I've met the guy once." I said as we started to walk into school

"Once is enough with Zach. I wish my old partner hadn't graduated." She let out a frustrated sigh and wandered off to Mary who was nearby.

"What just happened?" Two- Bit asked confused.

"I don't know man" I said

"Women" Two-bit said shaking his head

"Yup" I said agreeing

We then went our separate ways to our first classes. Alex and Mary were sitting next to each other. I took the last open seat, which was next to Angela Shepard. She has always liked me and I mean she's kinda pretty but she can also be a bitch.

"Hi Pony" She said flirtatiously

"Hi" I said awkwardly

School had not quite started yet the last minute bell was about to ring. I started to get my stuff out for class when I noticed Angela looking at my flirtatiously. I just rolled my eyes and ignored her.

"So, Pony I hear you and Alex are going out," She said trying to just start either a conversation or a fight as she was not saying it quietly.

"Yes we are" Alex said she was sitting behind me.

Angela fake coughed and said "Not for long"

"Not interested" was all I could say.

The teacher cleared his throat and said "Good Morning, I would like to start class if that's okay with you ?"

Angela just straightened up in her desk and stopped talking. A few students snikeried. `

She was quiet the rest of class. After class ended I wanted to just get the hell out of there. Alex quickly left the classroom, leaving me with Angela. I just looked at her awkwardly and left.

"Hey don't leave me back there with her." I said playfully running after Alex in the hallway.

Alex chuckled and said "She's always doing that. Ever since we were kids she always acts like she's better."

I put my arm around her and said "We have history together. She is never going to let that go. Besides I got the girl I wanted anyway"

I kissed her head and she just leaned into my arm as we walked to our next class.
